It’s absolutely not a 5 star hotel. But would be a perfectly acceptable 4 star.

It was a very nice hotel in a very central location. I enjoyed staying there and the bar was excellent as well.

In- room entertainment was disappointing as we could not access RTE 2 or Netflix for the entire night of one of our stays.

The bathroom was very luxurious with a soaking tub and a separate shower. There was lots of counter space. Lovely!

Shower was cold the first night and sink fixtures not functioning well. Reported this to management the next morning and they called the plumber who fixed them.

Excellent, friendly staff. Chairn at the front desk was fantastic and very helpful. Nice accommodations, great food

No handheld shower nozzle. Very frustrating for women who don’t want to get their hair wet.

Lovely room, very comfortable bed, soft robes, very nice toiletries even had bath salts.

The intense scent of Rituals everywhere was overwhelming. We bought alternative toiletries to use.

Only a small thing but had to request bathroom toiletries such as shower caps as well as additional tea bags, only 1 of each type initially provided. This was addressed promptly. Also the air conditioning didn’t appear to be very effective as it was blowing warm air and could not get the setting to a comfortable temperature so the room was warmer than we liked also due to warm weather.

Excellent location. Spotlessly clean. Great value for money. Staff are outstanding.

It didn’t feel like a 5 star hotel, it felt more like a 4 star hotel. There was no special touches and the bathroom was basic, very clean but basic.

Staff and location top. And breakfast a step above

Fantastic as always. The attention to detail is second to none. A step above. The Mccormack suite is absolute luxury. All staff so friendly and professional and all so happy to accomadate in every way possible. A special mention to Sarah Murray who really went above and beyond to make our stay extra special, thanks so much Sarah, we can't wait until next time.

We booked two rooms at the Savoy Hotel in Limerick, and one of them was in a shocking condition. The bedsheets were dirty, and when we pulled back the bedding to get into bed, several insects flew out from the bedsheets and pillows. There were also flies and other insects in the bathroom, some stuck to the walls. This is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one claiming to be five-star. When we reported it, a staff member arrived with insect spray. We told them not to spray the room, as we could not stay there after chemicals had been used. We were then moved to another room, which already had two large fans running because, we were told, the air conditioning was not working. Meanwhile, our family staying on another floor had fully functioning air conditioning. The poor cleanliness, unpleasant smell throughout the rooms and even the lifts, and the below-average service made this one of the worst hotel stays we’ve experienced. I would not recommend this hotel.

Savoy is a beautiful property one of the best in Limerick

No Air Conditioning though advertised with it. It was hot and uncomfortable for most of the stay. Hotel windows weren’t open, no fan. Not what we paid for

5 star stay. I was very pleased with reception. Very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was beautiful. Breakfast staff were very courteous and polite. My room was also very clean and equipped with everything that I needed. The air conditioning was not great in my room 510. I stayed at the George hotel and the AC was much better there in room 7016. Other than that it was still a 5 star stay. Bar staff were also very friendly and professional. Thank you team!

Location & size of the room. Staff were great

It was hot hot hot. No air conditioning in the room made it unbearable, fridge was at room temperature.. We had 3 fans but it still made the whole experience horrible….never again!

Had amazing cocktails twice at the weekend. The martinis were spot on-and the olive the best I have ever tasted.

I tell ya what this is the best 5-star hotel i have ever stayed in. From the moment we walked in, we wore greeted with the biggest smile and the warmest welcome from Charan. He was beyond nice and so friendly. We then went up to our stunning room, air con on full as we were in the middle of a heatwave, and the room itself was so nice and cool. Stunning decor, massive, huge bathroom. Massive bed, and to top it off, we had slippers and robes. When ringing reception for a few things, the lovely Julia was nothing but nice, and nothing was too big of an ask. We also met the lovely sarah on checking out, and she was beyond nice to us. We can not wait to visit again. Thank you so much for making our stay perfect

To say our stay was nothing more then perfect would be an understatement. From the moment you step into this stunning hotel you are treated with so much kindest, respect and the warmest welcome from reception. We were so lucky to have met Charan, he truly is such a wonderful credit to your hotel and made the stay one we will never forget. Julia was nothing but helpful and nothing is to much from either of them to make your stay more then you could ever expect. Sarah the manager is extremely welcoming and shows her staff the respect that they truly deserve. From the staff alone you would want to visit this hotel but it honestly kept getting better. The rooms are so beautiful, clean and every little attention to detail is absloutely perfect. The location is second to none, everything you could need or want is on your doorstep. We can not wait to come back again. Thank you all for making this such an amazing stay.

I’ve been lucky enough to stay at the Savoy Hotel Limerick many times, and it never disappoints. Every visit feels special, but that’s largely thanks to Sarah, who consistently goes above and beyond to make every stay truly memorable. It’s the little thoughtful touches, the warm welcome, and the genuine care she shows that keep us coming back time and time again. Most recently, my best friend and I stayed while attending the Shania Twain concert, and once again everything was absolutely perfect. Sarah made sure our stay was seamless from start to finish, and her kindness and attention to detail made the whole experience even more special. She has a wonderful way of making guests feel valued and at home. The Savoy is a beautiful hotel, but it’s people like Sarah who make it exceptional. Outstanding customer service like hers is rare, and it’s the reason we’ll continue to choose the Savoy whenever we’re in Limerick. A heartfelt thank you to Sarah and the entire team for another unforgettable stay. We can’t wait to return.

I always stay in the Savoy, it's very centrally located and has more than enough amenities than you could possibly need, the staff are amazing and always go above and beyond, The lady checking us in was Sarah and she couldn't do enough for us, the bar staff, night porters, waiters, cleaning staff etc are also very friendly and willing go above and beyond ,no request is too big or too small, it's extremely clean, the atmosphere is amazing, the food is Michelin star worthy and the pool and spa area are out of this world, I will never change where I stay in Limerick since the Savoy has set the bar too high for the rest of the hotels in the area, I know a lot of the staff working there by name and vice versa and they usually know what my order is going to be before they even get to me, we can't wait to come back

This is my third time back to this beautiful hotel after a lovely stay earlier in the year. Glad to see the same familiar faces . As usaul I met with Sarah on reception - gave a lovely warm welcome same last time.We stayed in room 718 , was so clean and large. Breakfast was as fantasic as the last stay. Bar was buzzing with activity. We had an unusal request for dinner in Hamptons and of course nothing was a problem. Breakfast the next morning was top notch just as I remembered. This is the best hotel in Ireland . Its not just the hotel, and the location .. its the staff that truly make this hotel a 5 star . We will def be back again before Christmas . Our new favourite hotel for staycations .

It did not seem like a five star hotel in my opinion, a bit dated and quite underwhelming unfortunately given the 5 star rating and price of the stay

We had a very lovely one night stay, visiting family in Limerick. The hotel was very comfortable. The room was clean and well stocked. The breakfast was first rate. Valet parking is available at a fair rate. The front desk also made the effort of shipping to me (my charge, of course) a package that my cousin left for me that I forgot to retrieve when we checked out. Very thoughtful. I highly recommend the Savoy Hotel in Limerick.

Upon check in, the concierge who was handling the front desk overflow said the dreaded, "sorry, we don't have a reservation for you." It was there, obviously. Under my last name, and BOTH my wife and my first name, rather than mine alone. Quite confusing. Before uttering those dreaded words she should have asked for the booking # when the name method of retrieving the reservation failed her.

Ottima posizione, camera ampia e confortevole, per il bagno ci sono gli accappatoi.

Bagno con doccia e vasca, ma entrambe senza il doccino. Colazione non a buffet ma alla carta... anche se era tutto ottimo non mi è piaciuto, le porzioni sono molto abbondanti (come per un pranzo o una cena) e favoriscono lo spreco di cibo. Personale efficiente ma non troppo cordiale.
