Kleines aber feines Hotel direkt am Meer mit einem kleinen Privatstrand und zwei wunderschönen Pools. Die Anlage ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, hat aber nicht das Geringste an ihrem Scharm, ihrer Romantik und ihrer natürlichen Schönheit verloren. Sehr ungewöhnliche, ansprechende Architektur mit einer Vielzahl von privaten Sitzecken und Plätzen zum Verweilen. Herrlicher Palmengarten. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, gut ausgestattet und sauber. Die Betten waren uns zu hart, es wurde uns jedoch sofort mit mehreren Toppern geholfen. Herrlicher Ausblick auf Meer und Palmen (Privilege Zimmer mit Meerblick). Sehr zuvorkommendes und freundliches, aber dennoch unaufdringliches Personal. Sehr gute Verpflegung sowohl Frühstück als auch Dinner. Viel Privatsphäre und Ideal für Paare und Romantiker...

The bed was a little too firm for me.

The decor, the views, the customer service and the breakfast - lots of variety. The service is outstanding from the people who work there. Lots of pool space so there are lots of sea beds for every one as well

They need to do something about the dry and stale food they prepare for you instead of giving you a breakfast pack when you leave earlier than breakfast is served. They had breads, cheese and fruits. All the fruits were old and dry, bread was old …I didn’t even try the cheese. The location is not the greatest unless you want to eat all your meals at the hotel…you may need a car, There are no decent restaurants nearby besides the ones within hotels…so you need to drive out to dinner every night if you aren’t eating at the buffet or from the limited menu. The hotel will add a donation to your bill, be careful and cancel if you don’t want to donate The water bottles they fill up are also charged but that’s not declared upfront

Un joli hôtel 4 étoiles sans enfants. Les chambres sont propres et bien équipées. La plage et les deux piscines sont jolies. Le petit déjeuner est bon.

La cuisine du restaurant de plage est excellente, mais le choix proposé reste limité. La carte gagnerait à être plus variée. Il serait appréciable de pouvoir déguster, par exemple, de délicieux poissons grillés, des plateaux de fruits de mer ou des plats typiquement mauriciens ...

This place is exceptional. Our room upgrade, due to my partner's mobility challenges, started our holiday on the right footing. Well trained staff who are genuine with their smiles and service levels. Small repairs attended to immediately. Excellent breakfast. Great restaurant in the St Gerain beach location with great food selection.

Unfortunately, we could not partake in the evening buffet dinners due to the excessive price. As we are small eaters, we could not justify paying USD 89, excluding drinks, for a salad and some protein. Here is a suggestion: create a couple of pay points on either side of the buffet and place two staff members for dinner; charge MUR 2 000 per kilogram and let every guest choose whatever they want and pay by weight. Whether it is a salad or a fillet, a pudding or some bread (excluding the weight of the plate), I would gladly eat every night at this buffet and sign the slip to charge my room.

A couple of rude staff members. Grumpy and unhelpful person at the water sports who was not interested in answering a few simple questions. Wife needed her medication from one of her bags we had in the storage we’d left them for late check out. Lady at the check in said she can’t have them until the time we had agreed to leave. Wife explained she needed access her bag still and was told then we must remove all of our bags then as she rolled her eyes. A friendly porter came with her in the end and just let her take the one bag she needed. A bit unnecessary to speak to customers like that. Other than those two bad apples, the rest of the staff were chill and really friendly and helpful.

Très jolie chambre vue mer. Ambiance chaleureuse et nous avons été très bien accueillis. Le personnel de l’hôtel se donne à fond pour que les clients se sentent bien et nous les remercions ☺️ Jolie piscine également et accès à la plage directement depuis l’hôtel. Nous sommes venus dans le cadre de notre lune de miel et nous en sommes ravis !!

We had cockroaches in our room 2 nights in a row, one actually crawled on me in our bed. It was brushed off as a tropical island issue but I'm from there plus we stayed in 4 resorts just this time around amd 3 of which had zero cockroaches anywhere in sight, let alone in the bed! Upon check in there was a pool of water on the floor with the AC dripping insanely and small ants in our bed (I had to ask for new sheets).

Tüm çalışanlar oldukça Güler yüzlü ve yardım severdi..Ayrıca odaların sürekli temiz ve tertipli tutulması çok olumluydu..Kahvaltı ve akşam yemeğimiz açık büfe olarak yeterince tatminkardı. Plaj ve havuz olanakları iyiydi.

Odalarda suyun ücretli olması ..Otelin hemen önünde bir plaj var ama oldukça sığ ve yüzmek neredeyse imkansız..Yakın plajlara ise araçsız gitmek zor

2nd time to the hotel, and same room 123 which we like as the position is great for views, the main hotel etc. Staff were as friendly and welcoming as we remembered the first time. Food selection was good, with enough variation to keep us happy for the week we were there. The bartenders were all fab, very attentive within the all inclusive menu. Free parking on site is good.

We stayed all inclusive and what this included had been reduced from our 1st stay, with a lot more drinks and meals (at speciality restaurant ) now having a surcharge. The all inclusive drink package is restricted leaving the cocktails on offer being poor. When we go back we will probably do half board.

Hôtel de bon standing avec deux belles piscines, dont une à débordement face à l’Océan pour nager. Grandes chambres confortables. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et le dîner était varié et à notre goût, tandis que le service toujours très cordial. En résumé, avons passé un séjour très agréable au Véranda Grand Gaube !

We had a really relaxing stay in a beautiful setting. It was a great way to end our honeymoon (and the team brought wine to our room when we told them we were on our honeymoon, which was much appreciated). The staff couldn't have been friendlier and made it a really special stay.

Our room was right on the edge of the resort so quite noisy and people were partying on a nearby beach. The air-con drowned out most of the noise though. It feels like they need a few more sunbeds, especially as we were always hunting for the few in the shade! The food could be a bit hit and miss (but that's to be expected when the team are making so many different dishes). The best dishes were the local Mauritian ones, so we would have loved more of this rather than roast dinners, etc.

La piscine à débordement est magnifique et rattrape un peu le fait de ne pas pouvoir se baigner à la plage dans une eau cristalline. La vue sur les îles du nord est très belle.

C'est un hotel construit dans une petite ville au bord d'une route. La plage n'est pas celle à laquelle on s'attend en venant à Maurice. De la vase, des détritus aux abords, pas de possibilité de snorkelling.

Situation, vue mer, calme, parking gratuit, Internet partout même sur la plage, personnel très gentil et compétent, équipement sportif gratuit, hôtel de petite taille et chemins courts

certaines infrastructures aussi dans les chambres vieillissent et deviennent difficiles à entretenir convenablement ce qui diminue le niveau hygiénique pas à cause du personnel mais à cause de l’infrastructure

Le site de l'hôtel est magnifique avec sa plage privée et ses 2 superbes piscines, le buffet était superbe et les plats délicieux. La chambre avec sa vue sur mer était top.

L'isolation de la porte de la chambre est à revoir. Les piscines ne sont pas chauffées en hiver et c'est dommage.

El ruido excesivo que hay de las fiestas fuera del hotel, sobre todo de aquellas habitaciones que están cerca de la carretera. La comida un poco escasa de calidad y poco sana. Demasiado guiso y poca plancha.

Simply a fabulous hotel. Great location right on the beach. Lovely food with lots of choice and good quality. The staff are gorgeous, so helpful and friendly. We cannot praise the place enough.

Wunderschöne Anlage mit zuvorkommendem Personal. Alle überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben up gegraded, weil uns das erste Zimmer zu klein war. Wir werden das Hotel gern weiterempfehlen.

Richtig schönes Hotel mit eigenem Strand und Infinity Pool. Frühstücksbuffet mit eigenen Spezialitäten. Abendessen war sehr abwechslungsreich und mega lecker. An jedem Abend hat abwechslungsreiche live Musik gespielt.Das Hotel organisiert unterschiedliche Aktivitäten, wie Bootsausflug, SUP, Kajak-alles gratis. Ich kann das Hotel nur empfehlen.

Nice location and beautiful pools.

Bathroom was disgusting. There was a lot of mold and not cleaned very well. Room was too small for 2 suitcases. There are 2 stray dogs barking loud in the evening and are walking through te restaurants. Water in the room costs almost €2,- per small bottle. Food in buffet was not good. Not a lot of options and the same every day.

Het is de 2e keer dat we in dit hotel verbleven omdat het een oase van rust is. Recent wat gerenoveerd kreeg het een modernere en cosy look. De ontvangst is hartelijk, ze doen alles zodat je een leuke tijd hebt. De kamers zijn gezellig en comfortabel met een apart toilet en een goeie douche. Prachtig zeezicht en ook mooie setting qua zwembaden en tuin. Het ontbijtbuffet is lekker en alles is aanwezig, probeer zeker de pannenkoeken. Voor de lunch zijn er diverse opties in de 2 resto’s, lekker en prima qua prijs. Het avondbuffet is dagelijks anders, lekkere locale gerechten en keuze van een aantal westerse recepten. Het restaurant is heel gezellig met een prachtig uitzicht. De spa is een pareltje en de massages zijn hemels! Dus zeker een afspraak plannen. Een aanrader, wij komen zeker nog es terug de komende jaren.

Ik heb geen negatieve punten, maar deel wel graag nog een paar zaken, informatief zodat de lezers voorbereid zijn. Onze matras op het bed had zijn beste tijd wel gehad en lag oncomfortabel. We hebben hier na de 1e nacht melding van gemaakt en kregen dezelfde dag nog een nieuwe matras en topper en sliepen dus heerlijk. Top service! Sommige beoordelingen maken melding van honden. Er zijn inderdaad 2 honden op het hoteldomein, deze zijn geadopteerd, krijgen de nodige zorgen en ja die zijn aanwezig, maar dit is niet storend. Het zijn er maar 2, een koppeltje trouwens die recent puppies had en naar een paar hotel medewerkers gegaan zijn. Ze komen tot in het restaurant, en lief als ze zijn, krijgen ze wel es een hapje, ook dit is niet storend. Het zijn geen zwerfhonden zoals een aantal beoordelingen wel beweren. Er is wat lawaai van de straat, dat klopt, brommertjes, een vrachtwagen af en toe en de isolatie van de kamer zou iets beter kunnen. Maar het is onze 2e keer hier, we wisten dit en we namen dus oordopjes mee om te slapen en hadden er totaal geen last van. Het is een top hotel!

Stupendo!

Quiet hotel, no kids allowed (adults only hotel) and quite honestly, it makes a very big difference if you want a place to relax. Our stay was magical, we celebrated my wife's birthday there and they even gave us a wonderful birthday cake free of charge. Dinner was a mix of Mauritian and Italian buffet which as excellent and lots of choices of meat and seafood. Breakfast however lacked a bit of choices compared to other hotels in the same category in Mauritius. Our room has a seaview with direct view on coin de mire. Hotel also has two swimming pools, with the infinity pool less big but my favourite because of the stunning views on the open ocean. Will definitely come again. Staff were very kind and professional from start to the end of our stay. Check in and check out was hassle free and quick. For tourists, it is definitely a remote place called Grand Gaube and far from bars, shopping centers and nightclubs in the North. You definitely need a car or scooter if you want to move to the more popular spots and the best beaches (Grand Baie or Mon Choisy) and party places in the North of Mauritius. Grand Gaube beach which is next to the hotel is not good for swimming.

Nothing that comes to my mind, maybe only breakfast lacks a bit of options compared to other hotels in the same category in Mauritius. Everything else was perfect.

Very expensive for extras like coffee and water for the room if you are only on half board. Cocktails and wine are unnecessarily very expensive. For example, South African wine that costs R100 per bottle, selling for over R1000 per bottle 😞 Staff unfriendly. Buffet food every day at the same restaurant was average. Beach is open to the public, and lots of local kids come down to play even though it's an adult only hotel. It didn't annoy us, but we could see it was annoying to other guests. There are not many beds available by the pool area, and nothing is done about guests keeping them with their towels but not using them for hours and hours. Premium room doesn't have much space for clothes and has a tiny toilet space, which is difficult to get in and out of.

Friendly staff and atmosphere. Although the property is located near a main road, the pool and beach area are quite and cozy. We simply loved the place and enjoyed our vacation.

The warm Mauritian staff, the comfortable room, delicious dinner with quality ingredients and quiet atmosphere. The visit to Grand Gaube village with local Dany was a very nice bonus.

That water was not complimentary and that the wardrobe was in the bathroom.

Sehr schönes und ruhiges Hotel, hervorragendes Personal, abwechslungsreiches Buffet. Sehr gut geeignet für einen erholsamen Urlaub. Abends bis 22.00 sehr gute Livemusik in der Bar. Shuttlebus nach Grand Baie an 2 Tagen pro Woche. Ein negativer Punkt Uns haben die Hunde und Katzen im Speisesaal gestört. Nach unserer Meinung ist das aus hygienischen Gründen ein Unding, noch dazu haben wohlmeinende "Tierfreunde" die Tiere vom Tisch mit allem, was das Menschenherz begehrt, gefüttert, sicher aber nicht dem Tierwohl dient.

Struttura di alto livello! Personale sempre gentilissimo, disponibile e professionale. Cibo ottimo e presente grande varietà per tuttti i gusti. Disponibilità di trasporti per organizzare gite nell'isola, e disponibilità di gita in catamarano. Piscine e spiaggia pulite e con bellissima vista. Siamo venuti a maggio: temperature calde, il vento della zona non è un problema (anzi mitiga il caldo)

How relaxing and tranquil it felt, the beach front location is beautiful and the hotel itself is clean and modern. We particularly enjoyed the company of the two dogs living at the hotel, although it would be nice to see the hotel look after them properly with food and water.

Es war ein ganz toller Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Der Service war unschlagbar gut, alleine der Empfang schon mit Begrüßungsdrink und Erfrischungstuch. Dann wird man im Hotel herumgeführt. Das Essen war super und sehr abwechslungsreich, die Sauberkeit war top, der Zimmerservice war zweimal täglich da. Es werden kostenlose Aktivitäten, wie z. B. Schnorcheln anboten. Auch abends an der Bar war es super schön, die Cocktails waren top und es war immer Live-Musik da. Ganz toller Aufenthalt.

Awesome experience

The meals and hotel staff were great, probably the best buffet in Mauritius.

The beach activities were lack luster and the boat house staff uninterested in working. Lack of leisure activities was also a drawback.

Absolute perfection. We loved everything about our stay and can’t stop telling people about it. We wanted peace and quiet and that is exactly what we got. Absolutely beautiful property in a perfect, quiet, unspoiled (and not too ‘touristy’ area of the country, with excellent friendly welcoming staff. Food and drinks were great. We adored the friendly resident dogs who welcomed us back every day. Bliss. .

Amazing staff, everyone was so polite and professional. Food was really good, a lot of fruit, fish and shrimp selection. The pool with the sea view is probably the prettiest pool I have ever seen. The sunsets are stunning there! In general we LOVED our stay there and couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Too little information, i mean the stuff give you a tour of all facilities and information the moment you arrive, it‘s like 15min of overload..would be much nicer to have a sheet with the whole overview afterwards. Also not enough signs where everything is, pricing is very unclear at the property

Stunning hotel, good food, attentive staff

We were amazed that we were expected to pay for water in the room and at dinner. We noticed a few guests, like us, going out to buy large bottles of water from a local shop.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön und sauber. Alle Zimmer haben Meerblick. Die Mitarbeitern sind sehr nett und freundlich. Sehr angenehm! Was mir nicht gefällt: wir haben All Inclusive gebucht, müssen trotzdem bezahlen. Cocktail mit Alkohol müssen extra bezahlt werden. Wasser und Bier waren frei. Es gab keine frische Säfte. Das Buffet und Frühstücksbüffet waren jeden Tag das gleiche. Sonst war ok!
