The staff were so kind and accommodating, the vibe was laid back and relaxing and we didn’t really want to leave.

The property needs some maintenance.

Bodrum Blue and the buffet (dinner and breakfast) provide consistently excellent food. Very comfortable rooms and easy going, unstuffy service. Our second time and it feels like home.

Both check in and check out were a little awkward and lacked care. Facilities a little dated compared with other LUX properties.

Beautiful property with a lot of things to do if you don’t feel like leaving the resort. Breakfast has a lot of options for everyone, there are a few restaurants on site to choose from. We really enjoyed the food and drinks at the adult beach/pool area. We were celebrating a milestone birthday and the hotel organised a beautiful beach dinner.

We mostly enjoyed our stay but a couple of things that happened on our last day marred the experience a little bit. Around 8am housekeeping knocked briefly and before I could respond entered into our room whilst I was in the shower. Check out is not until 11am and front desk should communicate better which rooms are empty as I assume they were eager to get it ready for the next guests. Secondly at breakfast we gave our room number as we entered the restaurant and about 20 minutes later whilst we were eating a waiter approached our table and demanded our room numbers, did not give any explanation, wrote the numbers down and passed them to a colleague. They did not ask any other guests this and given that we stayed 7 nights and this was our 7th breakfast we felt singled out as if we somehow sneaked into the resort and shouldn’t have been there. Lastly the food at the Turkish restaurant was not very good. We enjoyed our starters but the mains were really poor, the rice was salty and undercooked. I would not recommend eating there

An exceptional resort, with loads of attention to detail. Staff were extremely attentive, and the facilities are excellent. The food options and quality are fantastic, and the additional restaurants offer varied dining experiences. Wished we could have stayed longer. Loved it!

Lovely stay at Lux Grande Gaube. Staff were so friendly, facilities were great, food was good, room was lovely, we loved the Creole Smokehouse. Special touch for my birthday by getting me a cake.

Location doesn’t surround many things up north so it’s useful having a car! It’s also worth going half board as there aren’t many restaurants around it. We tended to go out for the day but then eat dinner at the hotel. Huge place and it felt a bit quiet when we were there (first weekend of September), bars felt a bit empty.

L'équipe aux petits soins avec ses clients, on a eu un accueil chaleureux, un hôtel digne de son nom LUXueux, hotel très propre avec une belle plage, les plats des restaurants étaient très bon surtout le restaurant the palm court, la chambre spacieuse et très propre ça sentait très bon. L'hôtel a été plus qu'à la hauteur de ce qu'on espérait on reviendra ça c'est sur👌

There's nothing I did not like. Lux Grande Gaube is simply outstanding! I've stayed in many resorts in Mauritius but none of them compare to Lux GG. I look forward to going there every year.

I actually can't think of anything that can be improved on. I was impressed with it all.

Extraordinary place with exceptional people and service. If you are looking for a luxury holiday with great food, service and the iconic Mauritius island experience, this is the place for you. We loved it and would definitely want to go back!

The beach was amazing. The restaurants were above expectation. Room was very comfortable. Kids club is the one of the best things about this hotel, really great staff, really interesting activities. The staff in general were really great, really helpful. The beach activities (kayaking, paddle boarding, glass boat tour) were both free and really accessible, we really enjoyed these. In general the activities and amenities that are included were really nice, you can spend a hour of time at the hotel and not be bored, many things offered, like the cinema and music in the evenings.

The only part of the facility that can be better is the gym, it was a bit small, but still a good gym - we used it many times. Otherwise the facilities were great.

The WiFi wasn’t great in certain parts of the resort and was intermittent at times which is not what you would expect.

Nous avons eu la surprise d'être surclassé, notre chambre était merveilleuse. Nous avons adoré le coin adulte : la plage/piscine privée avec le coin restaurant sous les arbres. Nous avons apprécié le buffet et le restaurant Péruvien.

Me encantó todo! El servicio, el diseño, las instalaciones, la biblioteca, la playa, la piscina. Pero lo mejor sin duda es la zona adults only que es súper tranquila y silenciosa ( que es lo que buscábamos)

La limpieza de las zonas comunes para llegar a la habitación e incluso dentro de la habitación. Hace falta una limpieza profunda. Hay pelos y polvo por todas partes donde mires con un poco de detalle.

La nourriture est juste excellente, très bonne et très variée. Le personnel est d‘une gentillesse incroyable. Une pensé à Yousra qui nous a bien conseiller

Spiaggia bella, resort molto completo e grande con tanti servizi. Buona qualità

Seppur sia un resort a 5 stelle in un posto molto bello, molte camere tra cui la mia necessitano di un ammodernamento e di manutenzione straordinaria. Il bagno ha doccia vecchia e con acqua calda che arriva molto lentamente Inoltre la pulizia poteva essere migliorata.

The resort was beautiful, relaxing, and very well maintained. The staff were friendly and attentive, and we really enjoyed the overall atmosphere and setting.

There was very little we disliked overall.

La habitación que elegimos era increible, más grande que nuestra casa. Todas las instalaciones del hotel en general, zonas comunes, restaurantes fueron increibles. El servicio de camareros de la piscina, super atentos. El desayuno buffet que nos regalaron uno de los dias por la luna de miel es el más completo y de mayor calidad que he probado nunca. El restaurante peruano es caro, pero está todo riquísimo.

La persona para reservar las actividades nunca estaba en su puesto de trabajo, fuimos en repetidas ocasiones. El clima en junio no fue el mejor.

Where do I even begin - everything was flawless, from arrival to departure. The staff were warm and attentive, and the on-site snorkeling and kayaking were a highlight the kids absolutely loved all included in the price. There's a genuine sense of security, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. Now, the food. It was outstanding ,varied, flavorful, with different stations by region, and simply delicious throughout. The hotel offers several dinner restaurants to choose from, each with its own distinct cuisine, and honestly, I have no complaints. The selection and quality at the main restaurant, in particular, were exceptional. Thank you for such an incredible experience.

Le côté trop select du restaurant péruvien, qui impose un dress code. Nous n'y sommes pas allés à cause de cela. L'impression d'être trop materné, qui donne l'impression d'être un peu surveillé

La limpieza de habitaciones tiene mucho que mejorar. Era bastante regular. Y el spa lo tienen demasiado descuidado en comparación de lo impoluto que tienen todo lo demás.

L'emplacement, les attentions et les détails

Le restaurant palm court bien qu excellent mériterait d'être optimisé en terme d'espace car nous étions un peu gênant avec un bébé. Ou alors peut être une zone spécifique plus adaptée aux bébés. Mais ce n'était pas grave du tout, c'était presque parfait

L’hôtel est magnifique, très bien placé, une plage superbe et deux piscines très agréables. 5 restaurants sont présents sur le resort ce qui est top. Le staff est adorable, toujours le sourire et prêt à vous aider. Merci beaucoup, nous espérons revenir !!!

Nous sommes arrivés vers 23h suite au retard de notre avion - lors de notre arrivée, une personne de la réception nous a indiqué directement qu’il ne ferait pas les explications du check-in ce soir là mais qu’on pourrait revenir le lendemain matin. Il a juste rempli les formalités puis nous a expédié en chambre. Nous comprenons qu’il était tard mais pour une première impression dans un hôtel de ce standing, nous nous sommes sentis en trop. Nous sommes revenus le lendemain matin pour qu’on nous présente l’hôtel et les différents services, comme prévu, et sommes retombés sur la même personne. Cette personne avait visiblement mieux à faire car elle nous a juste dit de revenir trente minutes plus tard, sans même s’excuser. Les quelques échanges que nous avons eus avec des personnes de la réception étaient tous décevants - alors que c’est généralement le coeur névralgique d’un hôtel. Pour un établissement de ce standing, c’est vraiment décevant. En revanche, tout le reste du personnel avec qui nous avons échangé était incroyable (restaurants, piscines, bars, club nautique etc…) Également et c’est mieux de le savoir, certains prix pratiqués sont un peu abusifs (restauration, spa, laverie,…)

Le petit déjeuner était incroyable ! Et le personnel hyper attentionné. Le cadre est vraiment beau

La plage es très bien, mais vu le reste de l’île Maurice, elle était un peu en deçà (eau plus trouble, passage de bateaux)

Hellhörige Zimmer (Nachts war es allerdings ruhig und man konnte gut schlafen), Büfett beim Abendessen stark besucht und manchmal etwas voll (es lohnt sich früh zu kommen oder sehr spät), das Ausflugsangebot (z.B. für das Schnorcheln) war überschaubar und daher schnell ausgebucht

I loved the views the property provided. The feeling of safety, the way the resort is run. The exceptional customer service. The willingness of the staff to help. The variety of the food was always great, we were well accommodated.

The room was beautiful but the bathroom sinks and drains gave a terrible smell that made it hard to enjoy the space. I wish there was ventilation in the bathroom.

⭐ 1/5 – Absolut enttäuschend Unser Aufenthalt war so schlecht, dass wir unseren bereits bezahlten Urlaub vorzeitig abbrechen und das Hotel verlassen mussten. Besonders schlimm war der Umgang mit uns. Wir wurden mehrfach respektlos und völlig unprofessionell behandelt. Unsere Beschwerden und die angesprochenen Probleme wurden nicht angemessen ernst genommen, obwohl wir dem Hotel mehrfach die Möglichkeit gegeben haben, die Situation zu klären. Nach unserer Abreise haben wir zusätzlich eine formelle schriftliche Beschwerde eingereicht und um eine Stellungnahme sowie Entschädigung gebeten. Bis heute: KEINE ANTWORT. Nicht einmal eine Entschuldigung. Für uns absolut inakzeptabel. Einen Urlaub vorzeitig abzubrechen, sagt eigentlich schon alles. Aufgrund unserer Erfahrung können wir dieses Hotel definitiv nicht empfehlen. ⭐ 1 Stern.

We had a wonderful experience here. such a beautiful property with a great view, facilities, rooms, staff, restaurants. Everything was on point and I am in love with a Lux property. I might just venture out to more Lux based properties after our recent visit. The rooms were modern with high quality fittings. The showers were big and great water pressure. The restaurants had high quality food, cocktails were so nice. The beach was clean. This property has done an excellent job of ensuring every little thing is taken care off. We moved to Constance Belle Mare after this stay and we regretted it every bit. We realized that Lux has done such an amazing job that is lacked by other properties for the exact same price range.

Amazing staff and the quality of food at all of the restaurants (even/especially the buffet!) was exceptional. My wife is veggie and there were great options there for her.

Sun loungers could be more comfortable. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

C’est notre 2 eme séjour dans cet hôtel , les restaurants le personnel les équipements les chambres tout est très bien.

Il y avait une épidémie de gastro à l’île Maurice et nous n’avons pas été prévenu … nous l’avons attraper et l’épidémie nous a été caché par l’établissement alors qu’il y avait plusieurs malades … nous sommes très déçus de pas avoir été informé à notre arrivée

المنتجع جميل و كيير وفيه عدة مطاعم متنوعه وفيه نشاطات متعدده وحتى kids club كان ممتع للاطفال والموظفين خدومين ولطيفين خاصة الموظفة يسرى ضبطت لنا الحجز وسوت لنا upgrade وكانت جدا لطيفة ومتعاونه وجربنا السبا وحبيناه، مطعم البرجر اللي عندهم لذيذ انصح فيه

مافيه شي الا من ناحية النظافة يحتاج اهتمام اكثر لنظافة الغرف

Amazing! Best service we ever got and we travel a lot. Gevine and Romario deserve a major shoutout for their kindness across the entire vacation in Lux, incredible people. We will remember this place for a long time and recommend it to anyone traveling to Mauritius. Perfect location, perfect service, perfect food and truly 0 complaints. Highly recommended!
