Hampton Inn & Suites Staten Island

Staff was Kind, knowledgeable and attentive. Lobby area were super clean as well as the room. Spacious clean organized room. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was good and delicious.

Me and my wife enjoyed and liked since we saw it from the parking lot.

It's a very nice place to stay. Breakfast was good, the workers were nice, and the rooms were clean.

Nothing

We stayed in room 225. It wasn't just bad—it was terrible! It hadn't been renovated in 30 years. The wallpaper was peeling off and just hanging from the walls, and the headboard was worn through to the point of having holes.

Breakfast spread was good, rotation could have been better, it was just 2 options on alternative days.

Location was pretty far and secluded. And it was a bit old property from the rooms point of view (lights in room could have been better)

Staff was nice.

DOESNT HAVE A POOL FAULSE ADVERTISING. BUGS. Fridge didn't keep food cold. Food went bad

Nothing

Buen desayuno, parking gratuito

The location and the Continental breakfast included during my stay.

I pretty much had no complaints about my stay this time, although I didn't like the extra charge for room insurance in case of any damages. It was refundable, but I'm not sure that they remembered to credit my account after I had to check out, and go back home.

Everything was great

Breakfast was phenomenal. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable.

Long drive to get to the ferry

Clean and comfortable. Every facilities available. Breakfast was good

Breakfast was ok , best item was the waffle

Egg omelette was dry

When I went up to my room, I discovered that the bed linens had not been changed after the previous guests checked out. The housekeeper had simply made the beds and that was it. There was hair on the sheets and pillows of both beds. The beds did not smell like freshly washed linens, and the sheets were wrinkled and clearly looked as though they had been used the previous night. The mirrors, faucets, bathroom, and toilet had not been cleaned either. It felt like the room had only been given the appearance of being cleaned. I had to go down to the front desk and ask to change rooms. The second room was somewhat cleaner, but there was still hair on the bed linens. At that point, I no longer had the energy to ask for another room, so I simply asked them to bring me clean sheets. I changed the bedding myself because that was the only way I could be sure I was sleeping on clean linens. I believe management should pay much more attention to the housekeeping and room-cleaning standards. There was also such a thick layer of ice buildup in the refrigerator that it clearly needs to be defrosted. The bathroom doors and mirrors had not been properly cleaned either. When I looked in the mirror, I could see splashes left by previous guests, and it was obvious that some of them were toothpaste splashes. I am very particular about hygiene, and this hotel left me with a very unpleasant impression regarding cleanliness and the level of care provided to guests.

La camera era umida

The breakfast was amazing! A great incentive. The guest room was a great! The microwave and refrigerator are great to have in the room. Saves money instead of eating out every day. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel's location was perfect!

The only thing that I didn't necessarily "like" was the slowness of the elevators, but there were a lot of guests at the time, so it is understandable.

Large and spacious room. Well located in Staten Island

The rooms faced the road and we had trouble sleeping because of the noise. The water flow was weak. The doors were very noisy and difficult to open. The hotel needs renovation.

It has parking.... family friendly, room was clean, good breakfast(was included). Attentive front desk. Something that I like during breakfast was the option of tea( tea bags variety), that was something I wasn't expecting at all. Our stay was comfortable.

Well, there should be an area for smoking people i gues., Our family has some respiratory problems and some people were smoking beside the door entrance and anybody getting to the lobby can breath all that smoke.

Very comfortable

I had no dislikes

Hampton Inn & Suites

Clean & great location

Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast. Clean hotel.

The bed could’ve been a little more comfortable

Staff , bed, size of the room

All was excellent

The room was spacious and very clean. The food at breakfast was excellent, especially the bacon, and a variety was provided every day.

The location is a bit off the beaten path. Not many choices for restaurants nearby other than at the adjacent Hilton (but I had to say both times I had dinner there the food was quite good, better than I expected).

Very clean and quite

Value for the money

Nil

The property was clean and the breakfast was good.

Staff on reception being polite was a 50/50 shot. Some were helpful and others just made you feel like you were interrupting their day.

I was overcharged. I made my reservation through Booking.com, and the amount I was charged is higher than the confirmed booking price. Please review this discrepancy and refund the difference

Breakfast

On check out the staff told me I have to pay 100$ for cleaning fee, I told them we stayed 8 days we didn’t ask for cleaning, then I talked to manager of the hotel then they said OK, very bad they take deposit then they want to deduct from the deposit.

Convenient to the cruise port. Facilities with clean , comfortable and in good condition. Breakfast was enjoyed by our multigenerational family - options were varied & plentiful, the dining area was pleasant & conveniently located in a nice area. Parking facilities were satisfactory.

No concerns

Ordenado

Desayuno

Rooms were clean and delicious breakfast.

It is far from everything. The price is high for what they offer.

The breakfast was OK

The staff took 105$ as a deposit from my visa card and I didn’t receive it back until now, it is not written in the booking they take deposit.

It was a good price, clean, and comfortable

The refrigerator didn’t work

The breakfast was great, just crowded, at waffle station. The carpet in hallways and especially at elevators really needs to be cleaned or even replaced. I was on the 3rd floor and there were crumbs, debris just as you get off the elevator. I brought it to the attention at front desk but it wasn’t cleaned while I was there.

See above re dirty carpets

The breakfast was great. The staff was kind and efficient. Everything was clean and to my expectations.

No pool 😭

Buen hotel limpio

Staff is polite and conscientious.

The bathroom has two shower stalls, one for normal guest and the other for disabled guest. configure with two shower heads. It is confusing and the guests do not know how to use them. The drain in the normal stall did not work and guests had to use the stall for disabled customer. The staff offer to change room but we decided that it is too much work for a two night stay and just compromise by using the disable stall to shower. It is uncomfortable and inconvenient.

the place was nice and safe

they have bad room service, and the breakfast space was quite dirty, we had been in other Hampton Inn and it was much cleaner, it is a pitty, this is something that can improve easily

Great room and location, very comfortable bed, breakfast, too many guests not your fault.Loved the grounds and the theme of the hotel

Great location with parking included Breakfast included

Nothing

Spacious clean and comfortable

Nothing in kitchen part of room such as fork spoon cups glasses etc

Quiet and clean

No vent in the bathroom , causes moisture buildup on the floor. Housekeeping knocked on the door she didn’t identify herself it’s a safety concern

Parking was horrible

Stare zariadenie, neochotny personal, slaby vyber ranajok, chybajuca zelenina.

Coffee was great. Supply of food good and delicious 😋

Sink drained super slow.

El desayuno

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Luisa A. especially. Very nice american breakfast.

Good location

Not that clean, the main lobby, the elevators, the hallway on the sixth floor

Great location

Excelente equipe. Excelente estrutura.

Great value, amenities are great and worth the price.

The rooms are fairly clean but the carpets seem to be neglected. All in all. The good outweighed the bad.

Clean, good breakfast

Bad curtains. In the morning the room was to bright

Frühstück gut

Loved the space of the room and cleanliness! Breakfast was awesome!

Bed and pillows were not quite comfortable.

Was recommended by a retired NYPD detective for us as a single mom with kid. Room was clean. Check in people were lovely and very helpful. Very quiet location, safe and easy to get to. Breakfast was varied and fresh, my kiddo enjoyed every bite. We were in town for family event. Was worth staying in staten island and driving into Brooklyn for the events.

Hallways should have been vacuumed, check out is at 11 check in is at 4 we got there 5ish and they were not clean. Also no do not disturb for the door and someone went in the room to clean, wasnt needed or wanted, i didn't like that my kiddo was a bit freaked out. They did good job but, I like to know when someone will be in my space.

The staff at front desk was helpful And courteous

Room was dirty never cleaned!

The excellent reception and help by the front desk, I arrived on Thursday an as I was checking in, I realized I forgot my phone in the taxi, needless to say to say the did everything possible to try and retrieve it, in addition breakfast was great

The breakfast options were not the best and neither were the coffee options but he cleaning staff was super friendly and housekeeper Luisa Barry was more than happy to bring us an extra towels, and a smile.

I didn't like the handicap..the room they put us in the walls were broken wall paper was falling apart wind there were black spots

Well kept, clean & very friendly staff

NA

A lot of construction going on so I can’t really give you a proper conclusion maybe next time it’ll be even better

Very comfortable and clean
