The room was great! Beautiful view of the Bayonne Bridge! Bright and cheerful decor. Very clean and comfortable! I checked in late at night and the clerk was super helpful and nice. Location is great for Manhattan travelers because busses are literally right there and it's close to the ferry. Breakfast was good. 👍😁

Downside, bad neighborhood. No on premise parking. Would be great if empty lot next door was a secure parking lot!!

During my stay a few items were stolen, which included my passport. The hotel doors did not officially lock. How is this possible? Nothing was seen on the video cameras allegedly. More than one guest complained about missing items as well. The neighborhood isn't a vacation destination. People with their own lives visit to take care of their own business. Stacking up another problem is a thing that should not be, on top of everything else! I'll never stay there again.

The Days Inn is an amazing value; usually hotels in NYC are either way too expensive for what it offers or cheap but disgusting. The location is close to perfect; 10 min bus ride or 5 min drive to the SI ferry and 20 mins to EWR. I've stayed here a few times and every stay the rooms were well cleaned and comfortable. The staff was always very friendly and helpful; they try their hardest to accommodate guests.

The staff was rude. They said I didn’t pay and I had to wait 30 minutes in my car after driving three hours to call Booking.com so they can call them and verify. The bathroom smell like smoke and my room door didn’t lock. The only way it locked was by the extra security lock at the top.

*Location is the worst. So many homeless and wierd people. Wierd staff and even wierd clients! *It's funny but the whole building from lobby the rooms smells like a public restroom that has just been cleaned!! They use funky smelling cleaning agents. *Rooms are very small, doesn't have closets or iron, locks are removed from doors so you can't lock the door when you are inside. *Staff are polite but they look very poorly presented and doesn't present a professional image. Supermarket staff look more professional and tidy than them

Rooms are small with glazed floor tiles in the bath. Falling is imminent. Room was so basic with no wardrobe or hangers.

The property appears to be locked in a pricing scam with Booking. The management insisted on charging more than the agreement on Booking - they charged an additional 39K to the Booking.com agreement The management also downgraded the room

The room after upgrade was nice and big the bathroom was nice and big it was easy to find a street parking space Infront of the hotel

Room clean and comfortable. In town visiting family- with World Cup occurring, caused lack of room availability.

1 block away from shipyard/dry dock area- surrounded by light industry, buildings undergoing long term renovations. On street parking, metered on Saturday morning 8:00. Hotel- No upkeep. Swing bar lock on door was missing. Deadbolt would only engage when I lifted/pried up at the floor on latch side of door-luckily I travel with a belt multi-tool. Towel rack above the toilet was pulling away from wall, about 1”. Protective glass at front desk. Manager lacked common politeness - had problem with room keys being programmed for only 1 night instead of 2, (had to go back down to lobby) no apologies for the inconvenience. Non-guest (not homeless but…close) walked in and served himself hot breakfast, daring manager to call police.

I had to book this hotel because my flight got canceled It’s in a very sketchy area. The taxi rides from and to Newark airport where very expensive considering it’s 20 min I stayed because I didn’t have a choice There was no remote for the tv The bathroom was not the cleanest And there was a dead bug in the tub

I like the fact that is was close and available and affordable the front desk staff was nice.

I didn't like the fact that when I entered the room very tired and inspect the room before having to take a bath, that that everything was clean except for the toilet they cleaned the inside of it but the seat had urine on the cover inside and on the seat, so had to clean it before even taking a shower and I was very upset for that. I guessing that the cleaner was rushing and maybe forget it. And also the bed was too small my fiance wasn't able to sleep because the bed was too small along with the pillows.

During breakfast you have to ask for everything, no one seems to be around to take care of the things that runs out (we asked & waited for coffee to be refilled, no bread.. no tissues.. something is always missing that you have to go look for someone to refill) The bathroom smelled like cigarettes smoke

I thought the breakfast was OK it could of been more options. I liked that the hotel was walking distance to restaurants and stores.

It’s a non smoking hotel but it definitely smelt like someone had smoked in bathroom and breakfast was bread and some cereal in a very small room. Not what I was expecting.

book a hotel when we got there is was a very bad very filthy not a safe place for family IN front of hotel was selling drugs and inside was the rooms smelled like smoke and looked like a hourly rental for iiegal activities it was bad never checked in its a sex motel that is rented by the hour

There was never any hot water!! & no closet space. Housekeeping was fast. One of the ladies from housekeeping was very loud on the phone going on a rant about what she doesn’t like guests doing. Some of the other guests were being weird. One lady kept zoning out in silence close to me. A couple (not sure if they were staying there), followed me to my room to see where I was going then pretended to be looking for someone else. It scared the shit out of me.

The stay was great! For a great price! It’s my second time staying here

What i like is the price and the cleaning crew does a good job.

The caliber of people staying there has gone down. I have heard screaming and fighting in the hallway. It seems as if it's becoming a shelter for the homeless.

the ppl the most of the night i was up cause its alot of traffic in and out ...and the it was alot of drug addicts that was soo annoying and loud and the front desk did nothing when i complain ...soo this stay this time was not relaxing and the breakfast they do not make enough food by 7:30 there is nothing left

The customer base has changed. You have couples fighting and yelling during the night. The hotel is starting to look like a homeless shelter.

I don't like when I have to check out after 2 weeks and come back later. I am staying there because it is close to my work.

It was clean but the bathroom smelled like cigarettes. The person who had the room before us was probably smoking in the bathroom.

They got rid of the WIfi which is ridiculous especially how if you are in your hotel room it would be nice to watch a movie on Netflix or prime. They are trying to cut costs and got rid of streaming services. Not a good look for business.

I love how clean, efficient & friendly they are. I love the free breakfast includes eggs! I love that there is no deposit fee upon entry it makes my stay a lot more affordable & means I can book more often with them when I’m in the area! Love this spot!
