Older and kind of run down. Overall not the nicest place. None of the staff helped with bags or doors. Parking was expensive and only had valet option. Car wasn’t parked at hotel it was as at a nearby garage and even when you called 15 min early to tell them you’re coming down, you’ll still have to wait. Restaurant was terrible.

The morning outdoor yoga with Phoenix made for the perfect start for my day. She embodied the aloha spirit and gave care so all levels in her class could enjoy the experience. Great service, from the woman that checked us in, to housekeeping, to those providing coffee in the lobby. I have a feather allergy, and the room was feather-free when we arrived.. The room was very functional - fun to be welcomed with my name on the TV screen (though would be even more fun to add my wife's), and we could adjust the AC to be low enough to comfortable at night to sleep soundly, great soundproofing, and in room coffee (and that in the lobby from 6-9am) was quite good. Appreciated the security of the elevators (though one elevator was not working - definitely crowded, but functional, and we could also use the stairs.) The pool and yoga would have been great to try, and the washer and dryer were really handy and very reasonably priced. It's 2-3 blocks to the beach, and across the street from the indoor/outdoor mall, which was quite handy.

Great hotel!! Walking distance to central Waikiki beach & lots of restaurants. There is a bar onsite by the rooftop pool. The room was big with beautiful city views - extremely clean and great hospitality from the front desk. We loved all the amenities and central location of the property. Would definitely recommend.

We have been staying at this hotel for 5 years due to its location and affordability. Housekeeping is excellent and Haydee took care of our room on this trip. She kept our room spotless and was very friendly and helpful. We also saw our previous housekeepers Pam and Nati. A big thank you to Diana and Christine on front desk who arranged for us to extend our stay when our flights were cancelled twice.

Wir hatten leider 2x einen Feueralarm. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis vom zusätzlich gebuchtem Frühstück im Hotel war sehr schlecht. Man hat sehr wenig für einen teuren Preis erhalten.

Je n'ai pas trop aimé le fait d'attendre longtemps l'ascenseur car il y avait celui du milieu qui fonctionnait pas. Par contre pour le parking j'ai trouvé que c'est cher par jour mais apparemment c'est waikiki! on a pas besoin de voiture, mais quand tu as des personnes a mobilité réduite et 1 enfant c'est pas commode.

The location was perfect. The beach was only a 5-minute walk away, and the hotel was directly across from the International Market Place. Target was right in front of the hotel, which was convenient for any last-minute shopping needs.

The long wait for the elevators and how some guests cut in front of others to get on, even though people had been waiting longer.

Was very pleased with this hotel. We were right in the center of Waikiki with restaurants all around us and the beach just a couple blocks away. The International Market place was directly across the street from us so good for shopping. Felt as if we were right in middle of it all. Staff was very pleasant and helpful and there is a convenience store attached to the lobby for essentials. It was clean and even the housekeeping staff greeted us every day with a smile. Even the elevators were pretty fast. My only minor issue was the beds were a little too small. If they are listed as queen size they look more like a full size bed. Would definitely recommend this hotel for the value we received!

Convenient location, mostly friendly staff, pool area was nice clean, fun for the kids.

Elevators took forever and were always crowded. The valet parking area was kind of hidden on the side of the building on a one way street, which wasn’t on my map, so finding it initially was a bugger with all the traffic, but we made it. Our room was tiny and the shower had zero water pressure.

Do not be surprised when your bill is higher than what booking.com says is the final price. There’s several taxes that are not accounted for. Never seen so many different items to be taxed for a room.

Stay was very enjoyable. Food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff was always helpful and kind. I really enjoyed the morning yoga session led by Phoenix. Great way to get centered and relax before having to go to work. Wish I could have attended more than once. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Just want to shout out to the housekeeping team and Cheriel, at Hilton Garden Inn who took great care of my family during our stay. Our rooms were fresh and clean each day when we returned from our adventures and really appreciated how accommodating she and her team were to stock extra towels and coffee. Cleanliness of our room

Hotel was lovely, friendly atmosphere. When I had a concern (unrelated to typical hotel stuff), they quickly addressed it for me and showed appropriate attention to the matter. Room was always promptly (very well) cleaned by Irene. Irene was a delight anytime we spoke in the halls and made certain we had whatever we needed. When the city lost power for a bit, they got us water and did what they could to ensure people were comfortable. I also really appreciated the ability to get umbrellas or body boards complimentary. This is also very close walk to Waikiki, the international market is across the street, and the zoo is 10 minutes away.

I travel often for work and I am very picky about the hotels I stay at. Cleanliness is very important to me and this hotel was very clean. The room was clean and the hallways and common areas were always free of dirt and trash. I also liked that the location was directly across the street from the International Marketplace which had Target and tons of restaurants, shops and coffee places. Though not directly situated on the beach, it is a start walk to Waikiki Beach. Bus and trolley stops are right outside the front door which makes it super easy to hop on a bus or trolley to go and explore. The pool was on the small side but was well maintained and had loungers and umbrellas. I was able to easily find a lounger in the early afternoon. There is a full service bar where you can order drinks. (They don't have any pool service so you have to get your own drinks.) They do provide towels which are small and very thin. Not impressed at all! I suggest bringing your own beach towels or buying one at the ABC store. The highlight of my trip was yoga in the morning with Phoenix. She is a beautiful soul who gently leads you into a slow and restorative flow. She teaches to all levels and her voice and demeanor causes you to relax immediately. You do need to register for the class. I didn't and yet she was so helpful in getting me registered. Don't miss her class!!! I will come back just for her.

I always enjoy our stay here. It is centrally located. The daily yoga class is a perfect way to start your day and the housekeeping is on top of everything. The rooms are always spotless. This trip, Cecile took great care of us and our room, making sure we had everything we needed.

Staff and cleanliness

The shower was so messy. The pressure was too much and no way pf adjusting it. The shower curtain was just a cloth that allowed water to pass through so after every shower, i had to mop the floor outside the shower room to dry it. The TV never connected to youtube for the 4 days i stayed and when i called for help, the maintenance person just came and confirmed it wasn't working and left and that was all.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Location is great, our king room was spacious and had everything we needed. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Plus the morning yoga with Phoenix is a great add on that the hotel offers, such a great way to start the morning. Phoenix was very friendly and is a great instructor. Would highly recommend.

My husband had a work trip and I joined. It was amazing to have for yoga every morning. The yoga instructor did amazing. The hotel is very well kept and very convenient to walk to everything.

Air conditioning air filters were completely full of dust. Have to call building maintenance to replace. Water pressure on shower was very low. The water refilling station nearby elevator kept breaking down. Sofa bed was completely worn that you could feel the springs.

I stayed here for 3 night for a business trip. I could not have asked for a better hotel. The location was perfect. It is directly in front of The International Marketplace which has a bunch of shops (you must check out CocoNene!!) and restaurants including some food stands towards the front of the building where you can Greek, BBQ, Tacos and Burgers to name a little. The hotel has a large pool and bar on the 3rd floor. The rooms were spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. There is a restaurant that serves a good breakfast at a reasonable (for Hawaii) price as well as a place to get lite fare and bites to eat in their convenience-type store. Once here you MUST. Heck out Paia Fish Market and The Donut King which are right by the hotel. Mmmmmm! You are less than 2 blocks to the beach with direct access and Diamond Head is not far. If you’re looking for a good all around hotel in the middle of it all, you can’t beat this gem!

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. I was surprised by how affordable it was. I was in the king room and requested a quiet room, so it faced the interior of the block. Consequently, there wasn't much of a view, but I was hardly in the room, and quiet is more important to me than what's outside the window. And the room was very quiet. The mattress was comfortable, but the pillows were the ones that squish down flat, so keep that in mind if you're a side sleeper. There was a balcony, and I brought my own breakfast items from the Target across the street, so I had breakfast out there each day. The bathroom was a shower set-up, rather than a tub, and the sink was outside the bathroom. I did wish there was some kind of rack over the toilet because there was nowhere except the floor to put your pajamas or clothes for when you get out of the shower. The room had a clock and a refrigerator, which I used, and a microwave, which I didn't. There's a small armoire to hang your clothes if needed, but no dresser or closet. The room is on the small side, so if you're going to book the king room for 2 people and have 2 suitcases, keep in mind that you're going to be climbing over your bags. I found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. I didn't use the pool or restaurant, but I saw people in both. There's also a convenience store in the lobby. It has some limited meal items for sale, as well as breakfast items like bagels and pastries. It also has some souvenirs and a bunch of sundries, like toiletries and packaged food items (chips, triscuits, granola bars, cookies, crackers, peanut butter, bread, etc.). The hotel's location is very convenient. There's a good-sized Target directly across the street, as well as a shopping mall that has a variety of stores and a food court. One block away is a grocery store. ABC stores are everywhere (these are basically a "five and dime" type store that sell a combination of budget souvenirs and necessities, plus snacks and a small refrigerated section with items you might find at a 7/11 or Wawa). A number of public transit buses stop right across the street from the hotel, and the area is very walkable. It's a beautiful area and also felt very safe.
