Sunrise Guest House

Perfect location, very clean , great breakfast, great host.

Wonderful host and facilities. Very clean, great location, brilliant breakfast.

Very picky saying this but would benefit having a fridge in the room and we kept hitting our heads in the bathroom!

Freundliches Personal, schönes und sehr sauberes Zimmer, tolles Frühstück, tolle Lage.

Very helpful & friendly owners, clean & comfy room in a good location.

Excellent guest house. Fantastic location, very clean, good facilities and lovely hosts.

Excellent breakfast Top location

Excellent location with easy access to the beach and town. Nice contemporary furnishings and breakfast room. The breakfast was exceptional and there was also an excellent breakfast menu with a fabulous range of breakfast selections to suit all guest dietary requirements. The omelette was exceptional. Kara is very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation is Excellent value for money, and we would be happy to recommend it to our friends and family.

This may seem a bit picky but the towels in our room although super clean were tired with very frayed edges. The room furnishing were good but the carpet would benefit from a refresh clean. However, we appreciate that it is late in the season and that the guest house is very busy. The only other downside is that the property has no car parking other than the main road (one way) which has restrictions. We used the nearby paid car park to park up which cost £10 for 24 hours. This was not the end of the world 😊

Place outside next to the beach

Super clean, well laid out, warm and welcoming host

Sehr gemütlich und tolle Gastgeber

Very high quality ingredients

A very welcoming host, well kept premises but I did not do enough research and we were in small twin room on second floor and with my limited mobility made a hard climb each time. Very nice breakfast. Parking not too easy as it seems to be for all of Bude.

Not properties fault but had expected from read up that there would be free public parking near by and assumed that would be for 24 hours.

Lovely host and lovely hot breakfast. Bed comfy.

Would have preferred a bigger toilet and sink. I totally understand it is the size of the property.

Sehr herzlich, sehr freundlich, sehr sauber und gute Lage

Sunrise was easy to find, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We were made to feel very welcome and our room was bright, airy and comfortable. Breakfast choices were plentiful and very delicious!

Friendly engaged staff , lovely room, great food.

Kara was a fantastic host, really helpful and friendly. Great location, good breakfast.

Everything was great, only suggestion would be some black-out blinds.

Contemporary!

Location is excellent, room was perfect and finished to a high standard, how’s are wonderful, breakfast 1st class

Nothing, everything was amazing

Could do with a fold-up chair as sitting on the bed in hot weather is horrid

Tolle Unterkunft

Breakfast was good, room was clean, staff were friendly

Shower was small, my husband stayed here and he's over 6'!!

Very clean and fab location

Quiet, great location, lovely breakfast

Was cold on the top floor the first night but Cara sorted it for us for the 2nd night

Good location at the top of town near the shops and supermarkets. Time restricted free street parking outside and paid parking close by. Our room was right at the top of the house on the 2nd floor which was accessed by quite narrow and steep stairs, something to take account of if you are not too mobile. Our 1st night was very stormy which made the room noisy. The ceiling height in the en-suite was sloped and I banged my head several times and I’m 5’ 9”. Bed was comfy and everywhere was lovely and clean. Breakfast was very good with a choice of items. We had a look in some of the other rooms when they were being turned over, so I guess we were just unlucky being allocated one of the attic rooms! We only met the hostess who was lovely as her husband was behind the scenes.

Ceiling height in the bathroom.

Clean and tidy...really nice breakfast. Comfortable.

Gutes Frühstück, sehr nette Gastgeberin

Exceptionally clean. Ideally located. Great breakfast. Lovely bath with great products to use.

Good breakfast. Friendly hosts.

Excellent location. Perfect hosts. Very good breakfast Very nice room.

Super welcome, excellent breakfast choice. Thank you .

Location is ideal for the centre of Bude. Hosts were welcoming, breakfast was of excellant quality and well cooked. Spotlesly clean and appears to be recently refurbished. We had the downstairs room which was compact but the private outside patio area more than made up for that and was a nice added bonus.

Nothing!

Good quiet location

Cosy room and close to town

Cara was lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was cooked too our liking and tasty. Room was clean and a few thoughtful touches. Easy walk into town.

Nothing much

Location was a little back from the coast path but not far and very near to Sainsbury’s for re supplies. Host was very friendly, breakfast was promptly served and was excellent Single room was small but adequate for what I needed and the chocolate bar addition was hugely welcome.

It was rather a challenge to fill the kettle or a water bottle from the very tiny sink

Lovely people, very helpful and Very good location Lovely breakfast Spotlessly clean

Everything! A lovely place. Will definitely be coming back.

Nothing.

The cleanest b and b ever

The location was perfect and the property was so beautifully decorated. The owner was incredibly kind and friendly and immediately put me at ease on my first solo holiday. The breakfast was delicious and I couldn’t have asked for more of a lovely stay.

Lovely host. Comfortable room. Quiet and peaceful. Tasty breakfast. Would book again.

Lovely room, clean, tidy, very comfy bed. We were able to relax from the moment we arrived. The breakfast selection was superb, the quantities were large (especially the waffles!), and the host was extremely friendly and keen to ensure we were happy, which we were.

Absolutely nothing!

Very comfortable bed,breakfast Very good.

Location, easy parking, excellent attention to detail and great breakfast. Kara was very friendly and welcoming.

Nothing negative.

I explained to the manager that unfortunatly had to leave for work early before the breakfast start time of 8am so i would have to skip the breakfast. The manager was fantastic so helpful he arranged for a hot bacon & egg sandwich to be ready for me to pickup as i left for work at 7.30am. ( very tasty it was too) the little things ljke this just make the whole experiance top class. My room was lovely the design and clever use of space made the room feel bigger and better. The bath & shower in my room was a very nice touch of class. I will definatly stay again.

Nothing it was all great

Our room was really big with loads of natural light! The bed was massive!! The breakfast was delicious and kara and her husband were very kind.

Breakfast was served in a dedicated Dining Room, cooked to order, plus cereal & yogurt, juice, tea/coffee and toast - all very nicely done. Our room was comfortable, and the property was an easy walk to eateries

No issues

The Bed

The breakfast was poor

A very warm welcome. The room and facilities were great. Very clean and comfortable. Had a beautifully cooked full English breakfast.

Nothing.

We only stayed one night as we were attending a Trafalgar Night dinner across the road. The room was very comfortable, and the staff very friendly. The inclusive breakfast was excellent. Thanks very much, and we will see you again next year.

Small point, and there is not a lot that can be done about it, but the positioning power points could be more convenient.

Place was the perfect location as was working in the area. Place was clean and comfy, perfect home away from home. You are made to feel welcome and I will be staying each time I am in the area.

Nothing I didn’t like.

Kara was absolutely lovely and welcoming. This cosy place had every little detail fulfilled. Plenty of breakfast choices. Will definitely be staying here again!

No firm choice of pillow

It was great staying at Sunrise Guesthouse. I have been coming to Bude for many years and needed somwhere to stay that was central, clean and at a good price. I also needed a single room at a decent price. Sunrise guest house offered all of that. It was comfortable, nicely decorated and Kara was a lovely host. I would love to stay with them again.

Really friendly and attentive, room was very clean and quiet, great location to the town and supermarket, great breakfast.

Nothing

Clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Nice location near to beaches.

Would have liked to open a window in our ground floor room but didn’t want to leave patio doors open all night.

Clean, friendly, efficient, good breakfast and good value.

Excellent B&B. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast and welcoming host.

Very clean, had everything I needed for a couple of nights away, Kara was friendly and had great communication leading up to my stay. The room was small as it was a single but was comfy and cosy, and for the price couldn't fault it.
