The Westin Alexandria Old Town

I love it

I contacted the cancellation number and they tried three times to cancel the reservation, but were unable to complete it. They gave me the Westin's direct number, which I called and left a message. Unfortunately, I have not received a callback or any confirmation that the reservation has been canceled.

Great bed. Included breakfast was wonderful.

No shuttle service on the weekend.

Central location

Outdated bathroom. Shower curtains? If the bathroom had sliding glass doors it’d be 10/10 for me.

Conveniently located in oldtown Alexandria, it is close to all the companies based there, so meetings for work are easily by foot. Rooms are large, beds are Westin-comfortable, clean and quiet. Staff was helpful and accomodating.

Breakfast is a bit lacking. The only vegan option (or egg-free for that matter) was the avocado toast. No fresh orange juice either. But the coffee is great!

Everything:)

Not able to drive into and park my car in there parking garage — had to use valet parking.

Mooie kamer

Best nog ver van oude centrum

The cleanliness and the comfort. The breakfast was delicious

The propert location was a little misleading. Thought the hotel was closer to old town

Quiet location in walking distance of nearby restaurants and shopping center. Location gives city hall vibes with the layout and nice area to take a stroll. Snack area is stocked well. Restaurant food is tasty.

No free parking and the valet can take a long time to fetch your car if it gets to peak hours. This place has a huge conference hall so seems company events are something that happens often. Should consider getting more staff to manage that. Waited 35-40 minutes at Noon when tons of people started pouring in for a company event.

Clean, beautiful, spacious, wonderful staff

No exhaust fan in the bathroom

Clean and very nice atmosphere

No street parking, extra fees for valet, no microwave in the room

Beautiful hotel, extremely clean, wonderful friendly staff especially Noel at the front desk.

The property was wonderful. Nicely located. Very quaint.

我们没有在餐厅吃早餐

服务卫生都非常棒！但我不知道$50是押金吗？可以退回吗？我还不确定。

They were accommodating to our event, had very nice staff. They also had nice rooms.

This is the best stay I’ve ever had. I liked everything

Breakfast, location and local shops

Room bed shower food

Il colazione era perfetto, molto buono .Il servizio eccezionale.Ci torneremo con tanto piacere.

Tuuto era perfetto.

Everything is perfect

Everything was very clean and the staff was very nice.

Clean facility with friendly staff at the restaurant

Everything was great. Would definitely stay again.

I loved my stay here, the staff were great and the restaurant had delicious food.

Loved it here we would definitely visit again

Grea

This was our second time at this property and everything from the staff to room was excellent!

Everything was great! Great location - 15 min. Walk from the metro everything was beautiful - and I appreciated they still did a room clean up daily, as opposed to many hotels which have started doing every other day. The bar was nice - the one time my husband and I went in. We had no issues and staff was very friendly

Great stay

Fabulous hotel! The only place to stay in Alexandria!

Pet friendly, clean, front desk was very friendly.

Nothing

The hotel is lovely and so is the staff. The area around the hotel is very safe with lots of dining and shopping options. My one complaint is a pretty big one. Unfortunately, I don't think there's much they can do about it. They are located near the subway slash train station. If you're at the back of the hotel, which my room was, you hear the trains all throughout the day and all throughout the night. It doesn't stop. It makes it very difficult to get a restful night's sleep. I wish they would have better windows that block out the sound better. Something they might want to think about. So, if you're a light sleeper or if you're in town for something important and need a good night's sleep, unfortunately, I would not recommend the hotel.

Great location,clean and updated,staff AAA+

Incredible service. Staff was very accommodating. Hotel offers many complimentary items. For example I needed a shaver so I went to purchase one in their convenience store and they said it was complimentary! And they gave me shaving cream! Will definitely be staying here again.

Amazing!

This hotel was so clean and just beautiful! Very accommodating staff

Location was a but of a walk (1.7 miles) to Old Town - not a big deal but not much around the hotek .

Very nice room and property. Thank you for the early check in

Great stay

Came up on amtrak to explore the city. Old town is so awsome. Really enjiyed the location of hotel and will be back.

Location/ staff/ restaurant on premises.

Air vents in room covered in dust.

Great stay

Staff are not friendly and not helpful

Everything was good. The only problem the duvet was way too heavy

The amenities were great. Comfortable room, quiet.

My headphones were removed by staff and that was unacceptable

Very nice room. Bed was comfortable. Short walk from the metro station.

My room was over the event space where a wedding w a band went on until midnight. I was only there one night.

1) Courteous and professional staff. 2) Quality linens and towels 3) Hotel decor 4) Breakfast was superior

Nothing

Good stay

Nice & friendly staff!
