Beautiful room

They were having building works done at the entrance which we were not advised about. The pool was dirty and the pool surrounds under the sun beds were dirty. This was the last place we stayed in in Thailand and the first whereby the staff were not at all attentive and did not clean regularly.

Alles, de locatie is subliem met een prachtig strand met uitzicht op de Hong eilanden, het strand is aan de ene kant begrensd door het Ritz-Carlton reserve en aan de andere kant door de Banyan Tree. Er hangen schommels aan grote bomen aan het strand. Het hotel is vrijwel naast de ingang van een nationaal park waar je een super mooie hike kan maken door de jungle. Niet voor watjes dus neem goeie schoenen mee. De kamers en bedden zijn heerlijk, het personeel super behulpzaam en lief.

Als ik toch moet zeuren zou ik een heel lang zwembad willen om baantjes te trekken, maar wie heeft er een zwembad nodig met zo’n heerlijke zee voor je deur.

From the front desk reception to the waters edge and all points in between…..all aspects exceeded our expectations. Most excellent guest service, delicious foods and well crafted cocktails.

It was quite run down and didn’t reflect the photos that are shown online. The original room we were put in weren’t very nice but they did upgrade us to a better room once we complained.

Amazing place and people, we had the best time ! Great beds, decorations, service, breakfast and amenities.

Staff were rude and badly mannered, room had a smell of mould, facilities and amenities were not put available to us or explained.

The hotel is situated at the sea front. We stayed at the pool villa but all the views were covered with trees. So, there was no sea view from the villa after paying £250 per night. The beach is down the seps from the room and it has the perfect view of other islands such as Hong Island.

The hotel has all the facilities but it is a bit run down. The bedside tables and dressing tables have spots (not sure if it was not cleaned properly or cannot be cleaned). There are mosquitoes in the room which kept us up and the air conditioning was noisy and not working to potential levels. The wastes from different resorts along the beach are disposed into the sea. The buffet breakfast is ok. The spa has no sea view and is stuck inside. The massage staff was not as gentle as it could be for the price of THB 2500. She moved my hair out of the way when she was about to massage my back, when this could have been part of the preparation process. I feel their hygiene could have been improved with the price they ask because other massage are available with THB600 down the road (5 minutes walk). The service (comfort/ explanation and post-massage) experience are much better elsewhere (such as Let’s Relax) for the same price.

Great staff, clean rooms with plenty of water and strong air conditioning. Beautiful location with sweeping views of the bay.

Lovely beach front hotel. Very friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast varied and delicious. Beautiful pool areas with plenty of sun beds. We had evening meal in the restaurant twice and it was excellent, several restaurants and beach bars a short walk along the beach too.

The location is not good. There are no bicycles as it is stated in the advertisement. When we asked to rent - we were told that the bikes are for maintenance. Same was with the shattel bus. The staff was not informed about the stuff in the resort and the announced offers. You have to be ready to hear - this meal/drink is over, we don’t have that, etc. Nobody was mailed the beach area. The swimming pool was not clean and the sun beds are not enough.

La situación en primera línea de playa, sin tener que cruzar carretera, directamente a la playa, con un paisaje espectacular. La comida muy rica, especialmente el pescado a la plancha. La tranquilidad del alojamiento frente a la caótica Ao Nang.

El hecho de que tener que bajar y subir a la vez muchísimas escaleras para llegar a la piscina de los elefantes, al restaurante de comidas y cenas, el loby del hotel y a la playa. No existe ascensor para ello, lo que lo hace impracticable para personas con movilidad reducida o problemas para subir y bajar escaleras. No lo anuncian que el hotel sea así. Deberían indicarlo.

Das Personal wirkt, für Thailand eher ungewöhnlich, reserviert bis unfreundlich und arbeitet nicht immer kundenorientiert. Die Zimmer und Gebäude generell haben eine Renovierung nötig, das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt deshalb nicht. Getränkepreise zu hoch. Durch die Hanglage sind überall Treppen zu bewältigen. Aus diesem Grund ist das Resort für gehbehinderte Menschen keinesfalls geeignet!

The staff were fantastic! They were all so friendly and very helpful. The food at the Marco restaurant was amazing! Every meal we had, Thai or western, was cooked to perfection with amazing flavours. The buffet breakfast had everything! The villa was perfect, with exceptional service by the house keeping team.

Staff were super friendly and helpful, breakfast was superb, with a fantsatic choice to choose from, good strong coffee. The beach and main resturant served a great choice of food Tai and International with themed nights. The beach was amazing perfect for swimming and strolling along day or evening. You can easily get a taxi (we used Bolt) whenver we wished to go roaming.

It was fine for us but beaware from the beach to our roomm was approximmately 130 steps, so if you have mobility issues not the place for you to stay.

Cute little retreat on the beach

Was not the best beach, was lovely for a night or two but the tide always was out so I never swam. The decking was nice, as well as the classical instrumental xmas music they played. Menu was good choices but the stairs to and from the hotel to the beach would have been a pain if we stayed any longer than one night. Staff tried to give me the gym to change in on our final day before our flight but I noticed cameras and complained. I suggested I use the spa and they made arrangements. Reception tried handwriting my partners card details down on paper after we settled our bill, luckily he caught him and snatched his card back. I’d day stay in another location, overpriced not nice area, esp because I almost booked longer in this part but glad i didn’t.

Very arranging Chef at the restaurant: I was sick and he was able to prepare some very light food for me during our 5 day stay.

The room was disappointing : it had no sea view although it was mentionnes on the reservation and it was facing the bar and a public noisy jacuzzi with kids playing/screaming . Not was we expected from a DeLuxe room. No help from manager (did not even showed up) to find a solution. Lot of stairs.

Es un pequeño hotel pero con todas las prestaciones, una piscina muy comoda, frente a la playa. El restaurant es muy completo y las preparaciones Thai son fantásticas, los precios son muy razonables. El bar ofrece deliciosos cocktails de autor. Todos los dias hay ofertas por horario en el restaurant, café y bar. Es muy tranquilo, ideal para descansar. El desayuno es fantástico

Great setting directly onto the beach, wonderful staff, restaurant had a fantastic menu. Sunsets from the bar were lovely.

Only criticism was it was quite isolated.

Fantastyczny hotel. Wróciłam po 7 latach i nie rozczarowałam się. Nadal wszystko na bardzo wysokim poziomie. Pyszne i bogate śniadania. Piękny widok z okna, bardzo duży pokój, łazienka z wanna i prysznicem. Nad basenami sporo miejsc do opalania. My jednak leżeliśmy na plaży, żeby podziwiać zatokę. Na terenie obiektu Starbuks. Bardzo pomocna i miła obsługa.Na pewno wrócę do Was! Cudowny pobyt

High luxury hotel in the heart of Tobkaak Beach in Krabi. Beautiful view to the sea and huge amazing rooms. The beach is quiet and not crowded and the hotel is very tranquil and beautiful. Full extraordinaire breakfast.

1. Prices around are too high (3,299 BHT for massage, it costs 600 in the city) 2. Restaurant variety and quality is not good enough 3. The hotel activities are poor. 4. Far away from the center and have nothing to offer around - this is why they need to improve the offering inside the hotel We loved the beach and the facilities but they could do better with the overall experience and pricing

Breakfast buffet was great, beach proximity lovely, facilities, the walk along the beach, the room was spacious and the bath amazing. The pool was nice and there is loads of beds and beach chairs around the property and on the beach and poolside. We were met and orientation was good and we were able to check in early. All services we booked through the hotel were excellent - like car hire and taxis.

Our toilet got blocked - that wasn't great. There are loads of steps outside so not good for people with mobility issues. It is really far from the main lively areas which is good for one type of holiday but not if you want a nightlife and fun! It's brilliant for resort relaxation and family celebrations. Beautiful but a bit far out if you are looking for a lively holiday.

Framúrskarandi morgunverður með mjög fjölbreyttu úrvali. Stór og rúmgóð herbergi og rúmin einstaklega þægileg með góðum koddum. Maturinn á veitingastaðnum var mjög góður. Allir drykkir líka til fyrirmyndar.

Þjónustufólk á barnum við ströndina var stundum of svifaseint. Þau voru ekki alltaf á tánum og hefðu gjarnan mátt ganga annað slagið á milli gesta og bjóða upp á pöntun á drykkjum eða mat. Mikið af stigum frá herbergjum og niðrá strönd. Ágætis hreyfing en gæti verið erfitt fyrir einstaklinga með litla hreyfigetu.

Frühstück für ein 5 Sternehotel etwas dürftig. Die Zimmertür und die Balkontür, sowie 90 % der Schubladen klemmen und lassen sich nur unter größerem Kraftaufwand aufmachen. Die Deckel der gusseisernen Töpfe sind zu schwer und sie lassen sich nicht zur Seite legen. Eine Zumutung in dem Frühstücksraum ist der Lärm der ungedämpften Stühle, wenn Sie über den steinerden Fußboden beim aufstehen und beim sich hinsetzen, bewegt werden.

Es war alles hervorragend! Hotel schön, Personal super freundlich, Frühstücksbuffet top, Strand war wunderschön. Einziger Kritikpunkt: die ganze Hotelanlage ist voller Stufen und es gibt keinen einzigen Gehweg weg vom Hotel. Vor dem Hotel liegt gleich der Strand und hinter dem Hotel ist eine Straße. Man konnte in unserem Fall nirgendwo hin mit unserem Baby im Kinderwagen und wenn man zu einem Supermarkt möchte muss man tatsächlich mit einem Taxi hingebracht werden oder selbst mit einem Moped fahren weil niemand zu Fuß geht da es keinen Gehweg gibt und es zu gefährlich wäre zu Fuß zu gehen.

Good location by the beach

Rooms were spacy and pleasant. Reception personal very friendly and helpful. Breakfast personal very pleasant and friendly. Good selection of breakfast food

Too many stairs to get to the pool which was very small. Not enough sunbeds, and not enough umbrellas to protect from the sun. The few sunbeds available were immediately occupied and extremly close to eachother. Beach not cleaned as in neighbouring resorts. Restaurant and bar at the end of the stairs on the beach so only possibility to get something to eat and drink by going down all the stairs. Service in the restaurant and bar / pool was terrible - to non existant. Food was fish and chips etc. This is definately not a resort if you cannot climb stairs.
