Best Western Newmarket Inn & Suites

The location is good, very close to the New Market shopping precinct, public transport and motorway access. Although getting a bit tired in decor, the unit was clean and tidy and was a good size. We couldn't fault it.

We stayed in a unit right next to Great South road. It was extremely noisy, now I know why it was $179. The hotel sits between the southern motorway, railway and Great South road on the other side. If you want a peaceful nights sleep, this isn't the place. If I had known this would be the outcome, we wouldn't have stayed here. Also, the outside lights of the hotel are kept on all night. Suggest bringing an eye mask as the rooms are too light to sleep properly otherwise.

Location! Cleanliness and value for money.

Buffet was awful. They just let the staff eat first than their guests. And they won’t refill for the second time. It is what it is. Not value for money.

Great location, easy online check in and spotless comfortable room!

Breakfast was great, white bread choice would be nice. Bed was comfortable and unit was warm.

Safety rail in shower. Rail also for towels

The bed.

Not many facilities and not enough variety in teas in the room.

This property was clean and in good accessible location. The breakfast was also decent for the buffet and cost. Parking was very easy

The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The way the room was presented. I didn’t find it to be similar to the photos. The bathroom is quite outdated. The area itself is pretty noisy which the accommodation can’t do much about

Clean, awesome staff and was close to where we needed to go to. Restaurants just down the road Beds were super comfy, shower was amazing We had a kitchen suite, there was a hot plate which i loved because i was able to cook home made meals. Absolutely loved it! Breakfast buffet was yummy, a lot of good food Would recommend this place and would come back and stay whenever we are needing accommodation in Auckland

The breakfast was in a small cosy restaurant very nice staff

The shampoo and body wash was abit harsh on my skin 😫

As always we had a great stay! The room was super clean, The bed was super comfortable. Good size room, Bathroom was nice & clean. We unfortunately had to cut our stay very short due to a family emergency, the reception lady was super helpful with us having to check out early. We will definitely be back again.

Only thing was the super strong smell of cleaning product (maybe bleach) It was super strong, We just turned bathroom fan on and opened sliding door to let fresh air in for a little while, On the plus side at least we knew room was super clean!

The space was amazing. Heat pumps and TVs in bedroom and main area. Super well equipped rooms. Very central located

The cooking smell that lingered in the room. Could not access rooms from the carpark through sliding doors and had walk around to door of unit.

Great location. Clean and beautifully presented.property.

Great location. Room was very clean. Staff was very friendly and nice.

Modern, clean and comfortable. Solid breakfast and a good price.

everything

Room is clean and spacious.

Stated on your website" $15 Breakfast per person paid at the counter " upon check-in in, the front desk not willing to favor us, Saying the breakfast was $20 per person and thats Error on Booking.com.

Clean and modern

Petit déjeuner et la situation géographique.

Le parking qui n'était pas adapté à notre véhicule. La chambre que nous avons eu était un peu vieux, ça mériterait une rénovation.

Clean and had all we needed. Perfectly comfortable Easy parking

设施有点老旧了

Well located. Room was sparkling clean! Breakfast in the morning was really good!

Nothing!

Central location

Breakfast had no cooked food but they did go and buy a yoghurt for me and chop and apple and orange and made us 2 eggs and two pcs of bacon there was just nothing else left which was petty sad

We really appreciate the value for money at this little gem. The accommodation is simple but has all the essentials, and is always very clean. The breakfast is great, wifi works fast. It's close to heaps of restaurants and just a short drive to the mall

Clean and comfortable with elevator. Value for money

Staff was very friendly

Our room was very cold and the beds very uncomfortable

Great location for the activities we had planned

Other guests smoking out the back windows meant the smell wafted into our unit. Car park was very tight. Bathroom was clean but very dated.

We loved the room, it was spacious, clean, modern, and the shower was nice with good water pressure. Buffet breakfast was really good 👌🏼

A towel rail in the bathroom will be nice

Great sized room Comfortable bed Great to have a table

Tight parking

Very clean and modern

Couldn't access room from front. Bed was x2 singles pushed together so hard to snuggle with partner, one if us had to continuously sleep on join

Quick, easy check in. Friendly staff. Ery comfortable room, bed and facilities. Great location.

The room was conformable, light and very clean.

The hair dryer was missing a diffuser and the cord wasn't long enough to dry hair in front of mirror. They advertise having a restaurant, but it's only a Cafe for breakfast, or to make tea and coffee. Didn't cater for gluten free optiins and/or alternate milk, even though it was stated on a flyer on the entry door. That was my main reason for selecting this Hotel so I didn't have to go out to find restaurants nearby.

The room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable.

Didn't really enjoy their breakfast everything was warm not hot, not much variety.

Area is great, rooms are nice and spacious.

The parking was first serve, so if you came back to find your parking taken, you’d have to park on a different side & walk to your room. Only 1 washer & drier, and was a bit small. Walls are a bit thin so could hear neighbours sometimes.

Very clean

Shower pressure was great, small shower.

Everything was good

Everything was good no complaints

Very good value for money and location was great to attend All Black game.

Lady at front desk super helpful at check in

Staff and location were great

Bathroom and shower could do with a refresh. The water from the shower was leaking out through the door because both sets of seals and door was not aligned properly. I also travel with janola spray and wipe and sprayed inside the shower and grouting as there was some mould build up around the bottom seals, removed most of the staining in the bathroom sink as well.

Good location, comfortable.

There’s not enough parks. We booked a room with parking but there wasn’t enough parks and were told can park next door at Best Start which is not convenient.

Not really

Everything. 1 toilet, kitchen is non-existent, cooktop way too slow, no exhaust at toilet, only one tv has internet

Friendly, efficent staff upon check-in and check-out. Clean tidy rooms.

Nice and clean

Breakfast was very convenient and good. Parking was good. Room spacious.

Loved how clean it was and lovely staff. Buffet breakfast was also very good

Was disappointed when they said we had been upgraded to 1 of the new rooms. While it was a nice room, it was a disabled friendly room so the bathroom was not practical for us. No sink space and an open room shower. We booked from seeing the photos so it was a bit of a let down. The new rooms are not very sound proof. You can hear your neighbours going to the bathroom and people coming and going from their rooms

Location

Noise from road

Great location, nice big comfy beds and rooms were clean,

It is probably just a bit dated.

Staff were friendly, plenty of parking and great location for our needs.

Room we were in was a little dated. They have newer rooms so maybe they will update them in future.

Location is perfect.

There is no kitchen sink. I have to use bathroom sink to get water.

Very well placed for the train into the City, and the unit we stayed in was very new. Carparking was on-site and was free. While it is just off the Motorway and train line we could not hear either. Our unit had a heat pump, which was wonderful. There was also a breakfast available on site, but we did not try it, but it looked very reasonable, and would love to next time we stay.
