La situation au cœur de la ville historique et la parking de l hôtel vu la zone réglementée interdite au stationnement

a notre arrivée, lors la prise en compte de la chambre, nous avons eu la surprise de découvrir un échafaudage devant notre fenêtre de chambre ainsi que celle de la salle de bain. Nous avons alors pris contact avec la réception qui nous a juste dit qu'il y avait des travaux, qu'ils s'en excusaient, sans pour autant nous proposer une solution de rechange. Nous leur avons précisé qu'il aurait été normal de nous aviser de ce problème avant, ce qui d'après eux était impossible. Durant la durée de notre séjour, nous n'avons pu laisser les fenêtres ouvertes ou même profiter d'une vue dégagée sur le canal étant donné que les rideaux étaient tirés en permanence eu égard au possible passage des ouvriers à n'importe quel moment de la journée. Mis à part ce problème, la chambre était belle, propre et la literie de bonne facture. À l'issue de notre sejour, nous avons désiré de plus amples explications. On nous a dit que la chambre qui nous était devolue au départ était moins belle et que nous avions été surclassés. Quelle belle blague ! Ce qui sous-entendait que nous n'avions pas à nous plaindre, tout en essayant de minorer le problème "échafaudage" au maximum. Je pense que nous n'avons pas la même interprétation de la définition du mot surclassement, puisqu'à leurs yeux cela incombe une vue sur des tuyaux en acier galvanisé et le passage d'ouvriers plutôt qu'une vue libre de tout obstacle. J'appelle plutôt ça un déclassement ! Voyant que leurs explications ne nous convenaient gère, plutôt que de faire une remise sur notre séjour en dédommagement, comme nous le demandions, ils nous ont proposé une hypothétique remise sur un prochain séjour, proposition verbale sans aucune valeur. Bruges est une ville magnifique et notre séjour a été en partie terni par ce problème et la mauvaise foi évidente des personnels de cet hôtel !

Das Zimmer hatte einen fantastischen Ausblick auf den Kanal, wirklich traumhaft. Das Bett war zumindest bequem.

Das Zimmer selbst muss dringend renoviert werden, alles wirkt alt und dunkel. Selbst das Badezimmer war alt, hatte viele kaputte Stellen im Lack und wirkte einfach nicht zeitgemäß. Man hätte uns vorab informieren sollen, dass unser Zimmer im Keller sein wird und es keinen Lift fürs Gepäck gibt. Wir mussten unseren schweren Koffer irgendwie selbst durch eine enge Treppe herunter bringen. Wir hätten sonst leichter gepackt.. Jedes Fenster sollte umgehend ein Fliegengitter bekommen. Wir wurden in beiden nächten so schlimm von Mücken attackiert, wir konnten kaum schlafen. Mit geschlossenem Fenster kommt aber wirklich kein Sauerstoff rein.. Das Frühstück sollte man sich sparen, es war wirklich nicht viel Auswahl. Bei dem Zimmerpreis haben wir etwas anderes erwartet. Die Preis-Leisting stimmt hier nicht.

Pasamos muchos nervios xq sexstrasaron el tren y el avión y llegamos después de las 22 hs, nos atendió cortésmente un empleado. Ayer pusieron un letrero para late check out había que llamar a un teléfono. No queda gente en recepción a la noche. Para un hotel me pareció raro. A nosotros a pesar de los nervios el chico nos dijo que se quedaba hasta las 12 de la noche. Aprendimos algo

Idéalement situé dans le centre historique. Lit très confortable, chambre assez spacieuse. Personnel très serviable et accueillant.

Chambre mal isolée. Double vitrage serait appréciable avec la terrasse en dessous et les travaux. Vmc salle de bain bruyante. Parties communes, couloirs + moquette+ ascenseur vétustes. Sol et fenêtres dans la chambre vétustes aussi. Pas de remboursement même partiel (cela aurait été très appréciable) à cause de l'annulation d'une nuit, uniquement frais de séjour remboursés à hauteur de 4 euros par personne. Prix de la chambre pourrait être un peu moins élevé.

Not so much a dislike but the shower is over the bath and it's quite high to get into the bath. If you only have short legs it's a struggle

Condition of property and rooms. Lack of A/C in our rooms (despite listing indicating rooms had A/C). Elevator condition and access.

Gerard on reception was extremely helpful and friendly and contributed enormously to our experience. The hotel is fortunate to have him as the customer- facing representative of the hotel.

De locatie van het hotel was voortreffelijk: echt midden in het centrum en midden in alle levendigheid. Zodra je het hotel uitstapt, sta je direct in het bruisende stadscentrum. Een extra pluspunt was het ontbijt. Vanuit de ontbijtruimte keken we prachtig uit over de grachten. Als je de raampjes opende, hoorde je de stad langzaam wakker worden en zag je de mensen al over de bruggen wandelen. Dat gaf het ontbijt echt een heel sfeervol en idyllisch tintje. Ook het ontbijt zelf was zeer uitgebreid en de hotelkamer en badkamer was van alle gemakken voorzien, schoon en hygiënisch. Al met al een heerlijke plek om een weekendje te verblijven. Wij hebben enorm genoten!

Het enige grote minpunt vonden wij het parkeren. Zeker in het weekend was dit echt een drama. Wij zijn uiteindelijk ruim een uur bezig geweest om een plekje te vinden voordat we bij het hotel terecht konden.

Lovely hotel in a great location. The Breakfast room overlooking the canals made it spectacular. the large room made it comfortable for an extended stay.

Beds and bedding were quite narrow.

Die Lage in der Nähe des großen Marktes war sehr positiv. Deshalb war das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis wohl okay.

Vom Zimmer hatte man einen Blick auf einen sehr kleinen Innenhof, eher ein Lichtschacht. Es gab keine Unterstellmöglichkeit für unsere E-Bikes.

Parle peut le français voir pas du tout. Pas de penderie dans la chambre, pas de cloison pour la douche. Au petit déjeuner, les viennoiseries pas terrible.

Ik had wel washanden verwacht als er een badkamer bij de kamer zit, dat was het enige!

We stayed in a room with a river view. It was beautiful to be so close and it was a highlight of our trip.

Not enough plug sockets and lots of flies from the river!

Vårat rum var ut mot vägen och det var ganska mycket trafik även sena kvällar.

De locatie was prima, midden in het centrum en goed bereikbaar met openbaar vervoer.

Personeel wist niet alles, beetje onwennig. Hele zachte bedden en constant gebrom van afzuiging.

Sehr gut gelegenes Altstadthotel. Unbedingt ein Zimmer mit Blick zum Fluss. Unglaublich wie ruhig es bei Nacht war. Mega gute Betten und es wird nebenbei weiter renoviert

No repusieron el gel del baño para el segundo día, estaban de obras en la planta donde tenía mi habitación y era un poco incómodo, así mismo el recepcionista fue muy perezoso y poco proactivo a la hora de indicarnos las principales atracciones que visitar alrededor del hotel, le costaba hablar..

Hotel was close to central square - east to get by bus or shuttle - and easy to get back to train station by shuttle with luggage - easily walkable without luggage

Je had geen mogelijkheid om.je kleren ergens aan op te hangen of in te leggen. Op de badkamer.. was er ook geen haak voor handdoek of om kleren op te hangen of te leggen. Was wel allemaal nieuw en ook heel netjes op de kamer

The property is in a perfect location, breakfast was reasonable.

We were on the third floor and we had to step over workman’s tools. That floor was being renovated we should not of need on this floor. We wasn’t told of this either before are stay. Spoil it unfortunately, not one person told us about this. No good….. other that hotel would of been perfect

Position was excellent for the Markt. Easy walk to everything. Brand new room which was very comfortable.

Unfortunately the renovations weren't complete. We had a number of issues which I'm sure they will iron out as they readily accepted our feedback whether positive or negative.

Perfect location - at the very heart of Bruges: a stone throw from the Belfry on the canal. Newly renovated, spacious, clean room, good air conditioning, comfortable bed, attentive and friendly personnel. We loved our room with an amazing view upon the Belfry and lively street! Lovely breakfast room with a nice view over the canal.

Poor wireless conection, window to inside court, clean but worn-out towels.

Die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer war fantastisch. Ebenso war das Personal immer freundlich.

Im Hotel befindet sich nur ein Fahrstuhl. Der Fön ging nicht und die Badewanne konnte bei einem anderen Zimmer nur mit dem Duschschlauch befüllt werden.
