We were worried we might have some noise at night with it being so central but there was no noise issues at all. Great value for money and will always book here now.

Het ontbijt viel echt wel tegen. Er was een gekookt eitje en een lekkere kop koffie, gebracht door een vriendelijke dame, maar al de rest trok op niets. Oud bakken ontbijtkoeken, koude! pannenkoekjes, fruit met een vies smaakje… Onbegrijpelijk, te meer dat we de avond ervoor in dit restaurant wel heel lekker gegeten hadden.

De ober die een lezing gaf terwijl ik rookte op terras. ik vroeg of dat mocht antwoord helaas wel. Heel relaas waarin hij tegen roken was. Als klant niet op zit te wachten. Buiten dat flirterig tegen mijn dochter.

Die letzte Renovierung war bestimmt vor mind. 20 Jahren, keine Klimaanlage dafür ein Ventilator der so laut wie eine Flugzeugturbine war. Gäste des Hotels tranken laut bis Mitternacht vor meinem Zimmerfenster.

Breakfast was ok, but somewhat underwhelming, an afterthought in a closed restaurant with furniture pushed aside etc. But the views from the breakfast space were well worth it.

En general, no estaba muy limpio. Los muebles, paredes y suelo necesitaban más de una bayeta. Había restos de pintura descascarillada en los poyetes de las ventanas. Y me levanté de la cama con una erupción terrible en el cuello, la parte superior de la espalda y los brazos. Lo comenté con la persona de recepción y, a parte de echarse las manos a la cabeza, no tuvieron ni un detalle.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026This is a beautiful hotel with views over the canal on one side or the hustle and bustle of the city on the other - we have stayed in rooms in both sides. The staff are always incredibly welcoming and friendly, the rooms are always spotless and while the building is old, the bathrooms are very modern. Breakfast is fantastic, and cake for money is exceptional. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bruges.

Bathroom did not really have a shower, tub only with a sprayer.

In unserem Hotelzimmer war eine Steckdose eingebrochen. So etwas sollte vom Service bemerkt und rasch repariert werden, um Gefahrensituationen zu vermeiden.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026We had to leave the hotel at 2:00 in the morning after finding bed bugs crawling on us the third night of our stay. They had not cleaned our room the first night, and the second night they used the same linens. There was some markings on the bedding which we later learned was feces from the bed bugs. They were good enough to not charge us for our stay, but it should never have happened. Our friends left as well. They only paid for the time they stayed, but no discount was offered.

Het was erg warm op de kamer. (Het was ook een warme dag). De ventilator maakte veel geluid. Met oordoppen in, ventilator aan en het raam open hebben we toch nog een beetje kunnen slapen.

1) Ho preso una multa perché non mi era stato comunicato che dalle h.13.00 alle h.18.00 non si può entrare in macchina nella zona dell'hotel; 2) era scritto sul voucher che c'era un parcheggio convenzionato, ma era pieno e in strada, in centro, 4 ore (il massimo che è previsto dalle apposite colonnine!) costano 18 euro. 3) al 2° piano l'acqua del nostro lavabo usciva solo calda ed a flusso lento; 4) non c'è l'ascensore.

Resepsiyonda karşılayan ve aynı zamanda restoranla ilgilenen beyefendi kibar biri değil, misafir karşılarken çok mutsuz hareket ediyor. Odalarda maalesef tahta kuruları vardı. Yastıkların içinden ve yatak başlarından çıktı. 1 gece idare ettik, yorganları köşelere kapattık ve ışığı yakıp uyuduk. Eski ve tarihi bir otel olmasından kaynaklı anlarım ancak uzun süre kalınacaksa bu bir problem. Tatilde böcek kaşıntısı büyük sorun olabilir

Roupa de cama não foi trocada durante a estadia. Banheira onde não é possível ficar em pé por conta do teto rebaixado do 2o andar (topo).

In camera avevamo un ventilatore rotto e che faceva rumore ,fortunatamente girava molta aria (essendo sul canale) e di conseguenza ,è bastato aprire le finestre durante la notte per poter dormire tranquillamente Dovrebbero poi dare le chiavi magnetiche e non la chiave da inserire nella fessura ,più scomoda da tenere (dopo le 22 il ristorante chiude e quindi anche il portone sotto d'ingresso)

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026La localisation de l'hôtel est exceptionnelle, en plein cœur de Bruges avec une vue magnifique sur le canal. Le bâtiment en lui-même est très beau et bien entretenu.
Le personnel n'est pas ce qu'il y a de plus souriant et sympathique : est-ce parce que nous sommes français ? De plus, la chambre, située au deuxième étage sous les combles, était chaude : nous avions beau aérer, l'air ne rentrait pas suffisamment et la nuit a été compliquée en conséquence. Petit déjeuner compris dans le prix de la chambre : cadre exceptionnel mais encore une fois accueil un peu froid et pas énormément de choix sur le buffet (il était 9h30 lorsque nous sommes descendus déjeuner).
