Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, and a comfy bed. Great location, with access to sun loungers by the beach just a 5-minute walk away. The pool is also a nice bonus.

The only downside was that it could be a bit noisy

Toute l'équipe du First Residence est vraiment très aimable. Je recommande vraiment cet hôtel. C'était mon deuxième séjour.

La proximité ( plage , magasin, ) Transport très facile a utiliser

Toilette bouché, remonter des eaux usées, le son de la tv ne fonctionnait pas.

- L’emplacement est très pratique. Près d’une plage agréable (5min à pied) et de central Samui, marché de nuit (20-30 min à pied) - Tout le personnel est vraiment adorable! Merci encore pour la réception de nos colis. - Les chambres sont spacieuses et pratiques (nombreux rangements), les lits grands et confortables, le linge de lit est propre et les serviettes de bain et de plage changées tous les jours. - La possibilité de profiter de la piscine (plus jolie et plus grande) et de la plage privée avec transat d’un hôtel partenaire situé juste à côté est top!

- L’établissement est vétuste (encore plus que sur les photos) et mal entretenu (peinture, joints). Même s’il est nettoyé au quotidien, l’aspect général fait négligé. Certains « détails » dénotent (bouilloire dans la chambre vraiment ancienne et abîmée, abattant de wc et rideaux de douche propres mais très anciens). L’hôtel a un très bon potentiel mais nécessiterait un rafraîchissement général. Le fait de pouvoir profiter des infrastructures de l’autre hôtel qui est plus récent permet de compenser!

We zaten niet aan de kant van het zwembad, maar aan de andere kant van het hotel. Daar staat de aircomotor op het balkon, waardoor het niet te doen is om daar te zitten. De hitte van de motor blijft daar rondcirkelen. Gedateerde kamer ook vooral.

The pool is excellent, the staff very friendly and accommodating. We showed up a day early and was able to get a room. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet has lots of delicious options.

The air conditioner in the room did not work very well, but they were able to move us to another room for the next night. The internet service is not great, sometimes works great and sometimes not.

La chambre en elle meme était top mais toute la salle de bain est a revoir (rideau de douche moisi, baignoire vétuste, tres peut de produit d'hygiène a disposition)

Struttura in ottima posizione, non lontana dalla spiaggia di Chaweng. Dotata di parcheggio e piscina. Stanze grandi, accoglienti, mobili un po' d'antan ma di ottima qualità. Favorevole rapporto qualità prezzo. Nel complesso, consigliato per chi ama la comodità e sorseggiare un drink sul balcone vista piscina. CI tornerò volentieri.

Mein Panorama Ausblick, im 4 Stock ohne Aufzug, gute Kondition erfordert.

Poloha hotelu. Personál který byl příjemný vstřícný. Úklid pokojů byl každý den.. Výhoda ručníků které Vám každý den dávali čisté a mohli se nosit na pláž.

Pokoje a koupelny zastaralé, zásuvky na pokojích většinou nefungovali.

Slow Internet no lift

Nous avions réservé une petite chambre familiale ( 2 adultes et 2 enfants ) et nous nous sommes retrouvés avec 2 chambres communiquantes et donc 2 salles de bains. Le top ! Petit déjeuner bien garni.

Perfect! Everything was excellent. The reception and all the staff were extremely polite and friendly. A huge thank you to each and every one of them. The room was clean, had a view, and a balcony. It had everything you could need, including pool towels. There's a beautiful pool and a private beach. We were very pleased. I definitely recommend it.

The staff is great! They oponed the breakfast area 30 minutes earlier upon our request multiple times. When we didnt come to breakfast at around 10:00 the knoked on our doors and asked wheather we intend to come or not. The beds were comfortable, the AC was very good, nice balcony, clean toilet and bathroom. The hotel shares a private beach with additional two hotels, it was clean, beautiful and facilitised.

We stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks, during which the breakfast was nearly sufficient, the free wifi was awful - around 5 Mb/s. There is no elevator, total 3 floors. The pool is cold.

Situato a fianco di una via trafficatissima, stando nella piccola piscina è come stare sul marciapiede della via in quanto passano pulmini e moto dal rombo assordante. In spiaggia i lettini, i cuscini e gli ombrelloni di 15 anni fa andrebbero cambiati. Hotel senza ascensore

Personalet er rigtig søde, tæt på stranden, fine værelser, tæt på by, god morgenmad.

Billederne snyder en smule, da de ser ud til at være fra nybygget tid og hotellet er efterhånden lidt afbleget af sol og vind.

I'm glad we only stayed one night. The room was dirty, moldy, dusty, and had a bad, old smell. My asthmatic wife had a hard time falling asleep and took 2 different pills to avoid an attack. You can see that some of the Cleanliness comes from old equipment that was probably not touched for 15 years (so much rust on the lamps above the mirrors), and some just from the cleaning crew (you can easily see the wiping of the mirror, and exactly to which level it was wiped). In addition to that, the balcony glass doors don't close all the way shut, and so the noise from the nearby road is intensified, also bugs can happily hop inside. The wifi is so slow, but that is really the least of your worries...

A very nice room with a wonderful view including the sea in the distance. We were fortunate to make use of a private beach within a 5-min walk from the hotel, one of the perks staying there. In fact a very nice spot when choosing Chaweng beach. Very friendly and attentive staff on a daily basis.

Beatiful but older hotel not far away from hearth of Chaweng. You definitely need a motorbike

The hotel is next to main road, so you can hear all cars which are passing by, mainly when you are on the pool

The room was clean, and had everything we needed. Good value for money. Sadly the water pressure on the 4th floor was low and had almost no hot water, which made the bathroom experience meh. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was suboptimal, as while it is close to the beach, there is no public beach access in the proximity of it. You need to walk 20+ min to get to the first public beach. This did not hinder our stay as we visited the nearby islands for day trips, but it was unexpected.

Personnel was very helpfull, however the hotel is outdated and requires urgent renovation. Hotel has access to private beach which is very important.

Die Zimmer sind gross und gemütlich. Es müsste mal wieder eine grössere Renovation gemacht werden, man merkt, die Zimmer sind in einem veraltetem Zustand.

Large room with a balcony...good area it was at the quiet end of Chewang but close enough to get to where the action is easily. Close to lots of shops and restaurants. Easy to get to main road if you want to go on driving trips to La mai or the fisherman village or example.

No lift - it didn't bother me but it could be a problem for some

In the middle of no where, right on busy road. Needs work doing on it. Sheets had terrible stains on them, and ripped duvet cover ! And they were off white !

Absolutely nothing. We paid for a ten day stay but paid for another Hotel stay the next day.

Stayed in the Hotel around 2010 when it was new. Unfortunately it has not been maintained since then. It was awful, dirty rooms, dirty linen, old towels. Cigarette butt's in the swimming pool along with rusty nails. Do not book this hotel under any circumstances.

Small hotel in good location at the end of the Beach road in Chaweng..quite location in comparison to the far end but still lots of restaurants and bars to choose from.

Hotel was starting to look at bit tired.

we ended up moving to another hostel as this one was not good. the bathroom was disgusting, the pool had construction on it so seemed unusable. the room was not pleasant and it was super far out from anything!

Was beetje ver weg van alles . Keken op een muur als uitzicht en zat een tussen deur tussen de kamers waar door het heel gehorig was . Zijn twee dagen eerder weg gegaan. Had zo slecht geslapen.

Clean, quiet location, the room is big enough.

Really bad mattress, pillows to high, and all lights in the room are depressing white.

Both me and my fellow travelers got a room facing away from the road, as I requested during the booking process. The breakfast was sufficient, although not fancy. A bit limited, but the food that was served, held high quality and tasted good. The beds in the room were also fairly good. Good and responsive service from the front desk when we needed anything.

Koh Samui in general is, in my honest opinion, a crowded and not so charming destination - and staying at the Chaweng Beach makes it even worse. The hotel is located next to the Suan Uthit Road, resulting to al lot of noise in the pool area during most of the day. I would assume that the road facing towards the road would be rather noisy as well. My room was clean enough, but my travel accompanies room was dirty (bathtub, hair on the floor and dead insects). That said, the hotel staff cleaned it up immediately after we noticed them about the issue.

Very nice hotel, hotel people very friendly, five stars.
