Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Overall our stay was very comfortable. The room was very clean and neat, bathroom was very clean and comfortable beds. And best of all they provided very delicious and generous breakfast that made it worthwhile.
A few things that bothered me a bit were 1. Due to personal disability I was looking for and expected elevator to our room, but to our surprise once we checked in we noticed there are 7-8 steps before being able to use the elevator!? 2. I needed to call the room service from our room and although there was a phone but there was no information card or sticker or anything of that sort by the phone to say which number should be dialed to reach the service! I tried anything like 0, 1, 11, etc., but nothing worked. I had to go down to the desk and he told me the number was something like 01180 (not sure) but you get the idea I guess :-) 3. Finally the AC works but it is old and it takes its time to cool down the room. But the part that was difficult for me was that it didn't have a remote per say, it had a control that is fixed to the side of the bed and very difficult to see.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026My stay in Rome coincided with a heatwave, while I was there, so having good air conditioning made a huge difference! The room was big, very clean and comfortable, with a fridge, and the drinks were free, which was a really nice touch. And the Kettle was just great... More Kettles in hotels! The hotel is also conveniently located close to Roma Termini, which made getting around and arriving/departing with luggage very easy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. The coffee was particularly great, and the cakes were very, very nice indeed! Definitely a good way to start the day. And, perhaps uniquely for me, I absolutely loved the old vintage lift. It has that wonderful 19th-century feel to it, and I thought it was fabulous. But that's me! Overall, a comfortable, clean and convenient stay, with everything I needed.

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Pros: - Good location, just a 10-minute walk from Roma Termini station. - The cleaning staff were fast and efficient.
Cons: - The reception staff felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. - The room was super small, and the window was mostly covered, blocking out natural light. - The AC is centrally controlled and the room got quite hot at times. - The elevator is very old and feels somewhat scary to ride. You have to walk up a couple of steps to reach it from the lobby, and then take a few more steps after exiting before you reach your room. - While the breakfast variety is slightly higher than your average continental breakfast, the food quality itself was quite low.
