Courtyard by Marriott Vienna Prater/Messe

I have stayed with Marriott properties for many years, including at this hotel just one week earlier, and that previous stay was faultless, the younger front desk team was welcoming and efficient. This visit was handled by an assistant manager and was a completely different experience. Check-in was conducted like an inspection rather than a welcome. I was asked for my wife's ID, which has never happened to me at any Marriott property before. I was then asked to produce the physical card on file. All of my cards are issued virtually and held on my phone, which I explained, and the response was visible gestures of disbelief rather than a professional explanation of the policy. If there is a legal or fraud-prevention reason behind either request, a simple, courteous explanation would have resolved it in seconds. Instead the tone made two long-standing guests feel like suspects. The room we were then given was the worst I have had at this property. The walls were scuffed and flaking in several places, the furniture was visibly aged, and the armchair had sections of faux leather missing with heavy wear throughout. It did not meet the standard the brand advertises, and after the check-in experience it was difficult not to read the allocation as deliberate. The building and the rest of the team are not the problem here. Guest-facing management training and the condition of this room category are. I would ask the hotel to review both.

I was not satisfied with my stay at this hotel at all. From the moment I arrived, I did not feel welcomed, as the reception was neither warm nor professional. In addition, the cleanliness of my room was very poor, and the overall service was extremely disappointing. In my opinion, the level of service and cleanliness did not meet the standards expected of a four-star hotel. Because of this disappointing experience, I do not think I will ever stay at this hotel again, and I would not recommend it to any of my friends or acquaintances.

Very friendly staff, good breakfast, and clean rooms. The proximity to the Prater park (green space) is a huge plus for walks and or a run.

Location of the Hotel is excellent, 2 minute walk from Krieau stop on U2 line on the underground in Vienna. The room is large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and bathroom facility excellent. The hotel is in a quiet area of the city and supermarket 2 minute walk from hotel. The staff are excellent and first rate. They were very welcoming and very helpful throughout my stay and gave clear and concise directions on where to get bus and train from hotel to the airport. I would stay at this hotel again.

On only my last night was an issue with getting cold water from shower or taps in my room as only hot water. I advised staff of this and they said they would get there technical to look at it. I could still shower and wash hands, but only option was hot water.

Nagyon kellemes hangulatú, modern szálloda, gyönyörű kilátással, egyszerűen mesébe illő tisztasággal és segítőkész személyzettel. A korai érkezésnél a jét szobánkból az egyik volt csak kész, de ez óriási segítség volt. Eddig ilyet sehol sem tapasztaltunk. Mindenkinek ajánlani tudom, a metró 2 perc gyalog és nagyon biztonságos a környék éjjel-nappal. Bolt 3 percre van. A reggeli a szállodában picit szegényes, de nagyon stílusos helyen történik a reggeliztetés

We arrived a day early to Vienna and were pleasantly surprised to find a reasonable hotel close to Inner Stadt that was what we've come to expected from courtyard by Marriott.

We didn't have breakfast as the cost seemed a little high.

All was excellent; just one thing they need to add: there are no vegan options for breakfast, just fruits and salad. For non-vegetarians, they have turkey sausages, bacon, boiled eggs, and scrambled eggs. They need to add scrambled plant-based meat or scrambled tofu.

Good location and easy to access public transport. Nice area around the hotel. Mattress was good and comfy. Staff were always friendly and helping

Breakfast was expensive for the variety of dishes available. Shower in the rooms was not convenient at all and water keeps splashing out and leaking. There was always a bad smell in the hallway leading ti the rooms

موقع هادي بعيد عن صخب فينا .. متوفر غرف متصله للعوائل.. قريب جدا من المترو الذي يوصلك مباشرة الى قلب المدينة

- عدم توفر مياه الشرب واعتقد ان هذا الشيء اصحب بروتوكول في اغلب فنادق اوربا .. - لا يوجد بقالة او مطاعم قريبة منه وهذي لم تكن مشكلة بالنسبه لي لأني مستاجر سيارة

Sehr bemühtes Personal und top Lage.

Das sich Gäste unmöglich benommen haben und null Respekt gegenüber dem Personal hatten.

Sehr gute Lage....Fussball-Stadion (auch Austragungsort für Großveranstaltungen), Spazierwege im Grünen und U-Bahn-Station in unmittelbarer Nähe. Auch ein Besuch im Prater ist in 15 Minuten erreichbar. Angenehme Abendbar im Hotel.

Rund 90 Minuten später als avisiert.. 14.00, erst das Zimmer bekommen .Viel zu wenig Personal beim Frühstück, Mussten angeräumten Tisch erst selbst freimachen abwischen.Dann suche nach frischen Besteck Eierbecher Mangelware,auch nach 30 Minuten waren keine verfügbar.

Schönes Hotel, sehr ruhig, mit Klimaanlage. Für einen Besuch im Ernst-Happel-Stadion perfekt!

Śniadanie bardzo dobre, zróżnicowane, smaczne, świeże. Cisza była zarówno w pokoju jak i w okolicy hotelu. Bardzo blisko była stacja metra.

Pokój już lekko zmęczony po pewnym czasie, gdy dezodorant już wywietrzał, czuć było delikatnie zapach dymu papierosowego. Czyli warto by pokój odświeżyć - wymienić wykładzinę, pomalować/tapetować lub choćby ozonować. Cena za parking podziemny znacznie przesadzona - 35EUR za dzień! A parking prawie że pusty.

The location was very well connected, the staff were very nice and helpful, all in all I'm very satisfied with this experience.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, das Frühstück wirklich ausgiebig. Da ich es im Preis inbegriffen hatte, lohnte es sich definitiv, jedoch finde ich den Einzelpreis etwas hoch. Die Nähe zur U-Bahn und die Ausstattung im Hotel waren tiptop. Auf Anfrage wurden alle Wünsche erfüllt.

Die Zimmer sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen und abgenutzt. Diese entsprechen rein optisch meiner Meinung nach nicht der Qualität von Courtyard Marriott Hotels. Das Badezimmer steht bei einer normalen Dusche sehr schnell unter Wasser, was ein wenig suboptimal ist.

Nice hotel, cozy inside during winter. The staffs at the bar were very friendly and introduce to promotion that I am not ask for just to provide guest the best benefit. The breakfast was worth money. Sadly the receptionist did not inform any category room I got as I booked for the room with bathtub but the room I got was a rain shower. After I caller they said it was fulled … but I have booked and paid it online, how come?

All of it. Location is perfect, one minute to the metro station to go to the city center, and two minutes to the bus stop that leads directly to the airport in 20 minutes. The facilities are amazing, the restaurant is beautiful, facing a decorative water font. The area is totally quiet, the beds are very confortable, the breakfast was very assorted.

This was our second stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Vienna Prater/Messe this year. We loved everything about it the first time, too. The staff was especially attentive and polite. I'd also like to thank the Front Office Manager, Victoria Erenhofer, in particular. It was my birthday the day we checked in. A pleasant surprise was a voucher for the bar. This speaks volumes about their special attention to their guests. I felt it, thank you. Also, the spacious room was spotlessly clean. The room was very comfortable, from the furniture to the bed to the shower – everything was perfect. We were delighted with the breakfast, which offered a wide selection of dishes and delicious coffee. In short, we were left with the warmest impressions of the hotel. Of course, if we come to Vienna again, we'll definitely stay here. Friends, if you're ever in Vienna, I highly recommend the Courtyard by Marriott Vienna Prater/Messe VIENNA. It offers one of the best value for money. And also a convenient location (metro nearby) and hospitable staff.

Getränke konnte man in der Lobby kaufen, gut aber teuer. Könnte aber auch bei Positiv stehen.

En general una excelente experiencia: personal muy amable, habitaciones muy cómodos, aire acondicionado muy bueno (no es normal en Europa) y cerca a lugares por explorar tanto a pie cómo en metro.

El parqueadero pareció caro como servicio para huéspedes.

Hotel has a good location close to the Prater park. This city part is very calm and safe. The staff of the hotel is super friendly. Room was super clean with a nice view.

It is quite difficult to log in to the Marriott page to get a free wifi access. Also the air conditioning control was complicated for me, I was a bit cold but I was afraid to change anything.

Wenn man auf die Zimmerreinigung verzichtet (ist für zwei Nächte wirklich nicht nötig); erwartet man sich ein kleines Entgegenkommen des Hotels, das sich ja eine Menge Arbeit erspart (z.B. garage einen Tag gratis, da sowieso,schon extrem teuer).

Můj druhý pobyt zde. Hotel je relativně nový a je to vidět. Stojí na klidném místě u metra, Prátr je v docházkové vzdálenosti. I když bylo venku hrozné horko, klimatizace pokoj v pohodě uchladí.

Dveře by chtěly polstrovat - byl slyšet hluk z chodby. 24 eur za snídani mi přijde dost (nevyužil jsem)

Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Also a gym on site. Staff very friendly. Would come back but wont include breakfast the next time. Very close to the train station.

Breakfast wasnt the best for the price. The scrambled and boiled eggs were very unappetising. For 32 euro per person a bit overpriced. When we were checking in we werent briefed on everything - especially the fact that they would like to only clean the rooms every 3 days.

Die Parkplatz Gebühr für die Tiefgarage ist überdurchschnittlich hoch.

Great location with major locations well connected with metro. The staff, the buffet and rooms were great. Totally worth the money.

Die Lage gleich an der U2 ist sehr von Vorteil. Auch ladet das ausgedehnte Parkgebühr des Praters zu Spaziergängen ein. Das Auto ist in der Tiefgarage im Hotel untergebracht. Kurze Wege und alles sehr praktisch.

Ganz klar das Frühstück. Die Eierspeisen hatte eine Konsistenz eines Isolierschaumes.. Und dann noch angebrannt. Lieblos zubereitet und wahrscheinlich sogar ein Fertigprodukt . Auch sonst sind die Produkte ohne Liebe zubereitet. Sehr schade.

Das einzige war das Frühstück.

Das erste Zimmer war war eine Frechheit: 1. Schimmel im Badezimmer 2. Käfer über dem Bett 3. Mehrere Beschädigungen an den Möbeln bzw. Einrichtungen Die Bedienung war mittelmäßig. Man dufte mit dem Hund nicht in den Speisesaal.

Very old hotel. The bed creaked so much that it was impossible to turn over. the furniture in the room is so old and shabby. The shampoo and shower gel were almost empty. Breakfast was okay. But we ordered an omelet and asked for only mushrooms and cheese. Instead, they brought it with paprika, onions, mushrooms, and cheese. Why ask what kind of omelet you want if you're going to get the wrong one anyway? The coffee was terrible.

Hotel bardzo dobry na przerwę w podróży . Blisko zjazdu z autostrady . W nowoczesnej dzielnicy Wiednia w okolicy zielony park i słynne Wesołe miasteczko rozrywki.

Na niektórych fotelach w pokojach widać już zużycie - może czas pomyśleć o odnowieniu ich ? :)

The room and staffs were good. Breakfast was good. Good atmosphere and good location. Very near to metro station.

We had issues with room cleaning. They did not clean the room for second day, when I asked they fave a reply saying they only clean once a week, on Thursdays. It was very weird.

Modernes, sauberes Hotel in sehr ruhiger, schöner Lage und sehr guter Anbindung zu den Öffis. Sehr freundliches Personal, abwechslungsreiches Frühstücksbuffet und ein gemütliches Lokal zum Chillen, Essen und Fernsehen.

Можна замовити сніданок, можна нормально поїсти. Номер який нам надали за додаткову плату доволі хороший, з непоганим видом. Готель тихий. Все необхідне в номері було для комфортного перебування.

Сніданок посередній як на вартість, якихось особливих емоцій не викликало. Бронював номер стандарт і в описі писало що є ванна, як і на фото було вказано. При цьому в готелі сказали що вони не зобов'язані вказувати правдиву інформацію і ванна є тільки в номерах класу Люкс, для мене це було важливо щоб розслабитись, як наслідок за це прийшлось доплачувати додатково 45 євро за ніч. Розетки тільки біля однієї приліжкової тумби.
