We paid for a room with 2 double beds. We received a room with one double bed. When I tried to call Booking.com I was only able to communicate with an AI computer that was absolutely useless. Hotel was of no help and my issue was not their concern. I has to find last minute alternative accommodations.

Rooms was beautiful, modern and comfortable.

Wish there was a real tv guide that matched the one in the room . I know it seems trivial but searching for shows flicking channels sucks when you just want to relax and watch some tv at the end of the day

Great location , rooms clean well kept . Staff very friendly and easy to deal with .Only thing I would have liked would be if they served the breakfast earlier , breakfast served at 6:30 am and I was leaving for work at 6:00 .

Your breakfast times are inconsistent with folks on a holiday. Having to get up early in order to have breakfast is not what everyone necessarily wants. Especially if people are busy during the day and get back to their room late, they do not want to get up early just to eat, The time you stop offering breakfast is not realistic. It is not good customer service. It's a blatant way to cut costs, which does not align with caring for your guests.

A later breakfast time as I said above, 11am would have been a more realistic time to offer breakfast for guests.

We were impressed by the breakfast at this hotel. Laurie the breakfast meal manager was friendly anf courteous. She presented hotel breakfast that should be the new standard for hotels. With just s little effort and common sense Laurie 'nailed it'. Thanks Laurie!!

Seemed clean from what I saw of it and the lady that checked us in was pleasant.

Location is rather industrial and bare bones. Staff speak loudly to each other in their own languages at all hours. When I booked the room on booking it directed me specifically to book an extra cot however a few days later I was notified that was not possible in a king size room. Of course it was non refundable so we bought a cot from home (our 12 year old girl and 15 year old boy no longer want to share a bed) and it fit just fine. Had also previously stayed at the non express location so didn’t think much about it but it’s very bare bones and even the gym had like 3 pieces of equipment.

Really accommodating stay special tge breakfast is awesome over here we are here for our business trip and definitely we are going to come here back. Special shout to Ash.

My wife and I stay here for our annual trip to Edmonton. It’s a reasonably priced hotel with fantastic customer service. Mandy goes above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. She remembered us from last year! We highly recommend this hotel.

Everything, the staff were really helpful, whilst the location would not be ideal if you weren’t driving as it is a wee bit away from most restaurants etc in Sherwood Park, on that the breakfast supplied was more than adequate with a good few choices, we had a slight problem with a plug in the bathroom, no sooner had we mentioned it and they were up to fix it, great hotel keep up the good work.

The young man who worked days at the front desk was amazing. He even remembered a concert that we were attending and asked about it the next day. The breakfast was as always good, especially the warm cinnamon rolls.

I did not like the fact that they have gone to those horrid soap dispensers. I also didn't like that the shower was in a slippery bathtub. The bathtub was so tall that I could hardly get into it.

The breakfast was very good. The staff in the breakfast room were very friendly. The shower heads were excellent.

Our door didn't close properly. Even when we heard a click, we still had to give it an extra push or pull to have it fully closed. One of our dresser drawers didn't close properly. It kept slowly creeping fully open. Would have liked to have tv programs listed on a guide on the tv.

The location is convenient, close to the event centre and shopping areas. The hotel is well maintained and the complimentary breakfast is good.

I booked with that hotel specifically because I was bringing a pet. I called ahead to let them know I was bringing my dog and I was told they would have a room available. When I arrived, there was no room for me. It was end of a long day. I'm extremely unhappy and will not be staying in that hotel again.

Phenomenal place to stay! This is the second time we have stayed here. I travelled north with my 3 & 1 year old, and they were extremely accommodating. All the staff ate so friendly and kind. Mandy and laurie(I believe her name is, she works breakfast) made us feel like family. They were so wonderful with my kids always greeting us the minute they seen us and going out of there way. Our room was cleaned and stocked every day and always asked if we needed anything. Breakfast always stocked, didn’t have to rush down afraid of running out of anything. Highly recommend and will be staying here everytime we come back!

When youre paying a lot of money for one night...youd at least expect a clean room. My shower had hair in three different spots. Not one, not two BUT three. On hair was in the tub. One hair was on the shampoo bottle. The last hair was just above the shampoo bottle. I was told I got points to make up for this but did not receive them. I was told the manager would call me on Monday and it is now Thursday.

The outlets on the bed and beside the bed, if you turn off the lights, the power to those go off - you should have signs saying that.

We hoped the hotel is like what the reviews show. The front desk team is forcing people to do the reviews including me. they also have asked if they could do the review from my account. This is something the management needs to consider and monitor. This is all false. The rooms are ok but still outdated. Carpets dirty and breakfast is ok.

I’ve been a loyal IHG member since 2009, Just imagine if you will , I’ve stayed with IHG products across Canada, USA, Australia, and the Philippines. And when I came to this property in Sherwood Park Alberta Canada, I was overwhelmed by the attention to detail that the staff and the management provided me and my family for our stay.. several staff members in particular were extremely professional, courteous and exuded the culture of IHG to provide not only a place to stay but a true comfort experience. One in particular was Mandy a supervisor at this property. I wish I could clone her, and have her work for every location that I’ve experienced over the years. She is unmatched in her ability to make you feel welcomed and appreciated. Another IHG employee is Cambell who works the front counter, He is also highly engaging, courteous, professional, and welcoming.. My total experience with this property was stellar, from my first step onto the property and being welcomed by Cambell at the front desk in a way that he recognize me as a valued IHG Diamond elite member , it made me feel like I’m a part of the family. ( even if you’re not a member of the IHG loyalty program I bet you dollars to donuts that you will get the same welcome from the front counter staff) When I entered my room, there was a wonderful little welcome note Hand written saying how happy the IHG team was with my arrival and would be spending time with them. It was signed by Mandy. I thought to myself what a wonderful touch. And again this solidified my feeling that I belonged here.. Our night at the property was peaceful and relaxing in a beautiful well-equipped room that was well cared for with everything in order and very clean. The bed was comfortable the shower had great water pressure and the water was hot.. the next morning my wife and son and I had breakfast downstairs and it also was extremely well equipped. The layout was immaculate and the attention to detail was first rate.. if you’re looking for a safe clean place to stay with your family or on your own, this is a 10 out of 10 selection.. It’s located perfectly close to the highway and every amenity that you will need for your stay. If your stay is an extended stay or is a one night stay he won’t go wrong choosing this property.. Just loved it. This is our go to spot now when we’re back in this area loyalty means a lot to me and I pledge my loyalty to this location. Other locations have big shoes to fill.🙂

good breakfast

This hotel was an extremely good price, especially considering the exchange rate. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast room was spacious with many options. The coffee at Holiday Inn is always good.

I was disappointed that the whirlpool spa was not in service. The gym was lackluster but at least there was one. I was able to walk on the treadmill and use the dumbbells, though there was not a lot of space for exercises with the dumbbells. I had read a review from months previous about the spa being out of order, and thought that surely by now that would have been back in service.

Very happy with the price we paid, how clean and modern the hotel and room was, how friendly the staff were and the complimentary breakfast. Would absolutely stay here again.

I came late at night, I called multiple hotels nobody had good customer service like Manish, he’s the reason I booked today
