It was fine

The staff was friendly upon check in. The room was nice and clean. The pool was disgusting. We found what appeared to be feces in the pool, and also found a used bandaid in the hot tub. We’ve always had great experiences staying at various Holiday Inn locations, so this was extremely disappointing.

Staff were helpful, very knowledgeable and through with the hotel’s policies and procedures.

No breakfast only a Smitty restaurant which was ok

It was a busy weekend, the hotel remained clean and quiet. The staff were amazing and helpful!

It was great the room was clean when I got there.

It was very busy. I had a terrible sleep. People taking in the hallways and closing doors all hours of the night. I could smell exhaust in my room My room did not get cleaned and no beds made during my two day stay.

They had a Smitty’s restaurant in the lobby. Was very pleased with the meal and the service.

The front desk is so accomodating and nice, the pool was great and in good temperature, the room smells nice and very clean and very warm. Our family enjoy staying at Holiday Inn. Plus it's so affordable.

Room was clean and tidy, bed was comfortable, pillows fantastic! We were in the second floor and we had some young kids running up and down the hallway but they settled down around 10. The room above us had someone running back and forth til around midnight. Must have been a hockey tournament weekend. Other than that it was good!

Donna at the front desk was amazing!! She was so accommodating after she heard about our nightmare with the other hotel. Got us in and took care of us. The only down side was sports teams that were not following the 10 pm quiet time rule. However, the hotel can only do so much when parents leave their children unattended.

The location was great and the room was comfortable. The hot tub was welcome after a long days drive.

I was disappointed the restaurant was closed the evening I arrived. Having a restaurant on site was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. Also, in the morning the restaurant didn't open early enough. I wanted to get an early start to my travel.

Excellent start!! Everyone was friendly and welcoming, would definitely stay again. Well done staff!! The outside was clean and tidy. The inside was spotless.

Its a GEM! This hotel needs an upgrade but still a gem in terms of cleanliness and hospitality! The lobby was clean and spotless when we checked in plus the staff at the desk was super friendly! Thanks Donna! The room needs an upgrade but over all cleanliness exceed my expectations! Will stay here again!

Comfy Stay with Outstanding Service! I had a wonderful experience at the Holiday Inn Lloydminster—exactly what I look for in a hotel! The room was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. A special shoutout to Donna at the front desk—her warm welcome, bright smile, and excellent service set the tone for a great visit. She’s truly an asset to the team! While the hotel has only one elevator, it wasn’t a major issue but another one is highly needed specifically during busy days. The property is well-maintained, and the cleanliness throughout impressed me. Though breakfast isn’t included, there’s Smittys on the main floor, but they open late! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lloydminster—I’d gladly stay here again!

Definitely not a 3-star hotel. All the chairs in our room were covered in stains...disgusting. We had to get them changed. The staff person on duty was very helpful, but the property shouldn't be in such gross condition.

This is our comfort hotel whenever we are in Lloydminster. Location is very convenient, near mall and restaurants. With the friendly Front desk staff and comfortable bed. The room is out dated but still good. There’s a pool and hot tub, but we’re busy with the powwow, never use it. Will stay here again this coming hockey season.

Chairs in the suite need upgrading... You sink to the floor when you sit on them.. Suite was small with a king size bed... No place to put your suitcase to open it up... Loved the walk in shower...

We stayed here again for Powwow Event. As always, room is very clean and comfy! Gentleman at the frontdesk is very friendly and polite. This hotel is near wendys, subway and Dairy Queen. There’s Smittys restaurant in side the hotel. Will stay here again! Highly recommended!

With the amount I paid the property was not worth it. I thought i had booked for a suite but was provided a standard room??

The bathroom floor was sunken and uneven. There are no modem charging stations for phones, lap tops, iPads

We had a great stay this past weekend! The Front Desk staff Francis and the Housekeeping staff Cynthia were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable, and my kids had a wonderful time enjoying the pool. The hotel was quiet and relaxing, which made for a pleasant stay. The outside areas and parking lot were also well-maintained and clean. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would definitely stay here again!

Everything was satisfying.

They require a $75 security deposit upon check-in, and only with a physical credit card (they don't accept Apple Pay). The restaurant's opening hours are extremely inconvenient. The mattresses in the rooms are for those who like to sleep in a hammock.

We appreciated that the back parking lot had space for my partners vehicle and my suv. The location made it accessible to the mall and restaurants.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a great experience for my partner and I as we travel through to get back him to BC. There was hair in the bedsheets that didn't belong to either of us. There was residue in the bathtub and there was a restaurant downstairs but it was advertised as a free breakfast when booking which simply wasn't true.

Do you like wonky climate controls that suddenly decide to freeze you in the middle of the night, dangerously hot water, flaky taps that make avoiding the dangerously hot water tricky, tissues so flimsy they rip when you try to get them out of the box, one slow elevator for the housekeeping staff and guests to fight over at check-out time, tired worn-out towels and more? Stay was good until we had to check out a day early that's when the problems started, the hotel manager did not want to hear that it was up to them to refund a day to call Expedia & when I did all I got was a sigh & click, hung up on.

Stayed here during Hockey Tournament! Overall it was a great and comfortable stay! The people at the front desk and the housekeeping were very nice and welcoming. Our room is spotless plus they do room cleaning everyday! I wish Smittys will open early.

Great Hotel! The location don’t have free breakfast but there’s Smittys inside the hotel. Wendy’s and Subway is walking distance. The hotel staff are very friendly and they will welcome you warmly! The room is fantastic and very clean although furnitures not up to date but it’s in good condition.

The poor rating is on expedia, not the hotel itself. Expedia had an option for 20 dollars extra for a meal. I paid it but got no breakfast included even though I paid the extra!

The toilet flush handle broke and no one came to fix like I was told at front desk! Lucky I’m handy and was about to at least flush the toilet by lifting the mechanism after I removed the toilet tank top! Poor service would come to mind! We noticed there was very few towels and none at the pool!

When a person is booking for a several night stay you look for specific things in a hotel. I was to stay for three nights four days, therefore I looked for the hotels services. This hotel claimed it had a restaurant and a pub besides a pool. Great. I was glad of these specific services because I didn’t want to drive anywhere for food or drink(watching the hockey game in the pub). BUT this hotel’s restaurant is closed by 8 pm, 1:30 pm on Sunday, and pub most nights by 7:30 pm. I find this a case of miss representation of services offered Before booking. I would not have booked this hotel if I had known of its “roll up the services by 8 pm” 6 days a week NEVER!
