The booking.com advertised hot tub (which was out of order for days and we only got an email advising us after check in time and there was a sign at the front desk). We booked there because of that hot tub and they wouldn’t upgrade us if free. We are now asking booking.com foe comken

Every single staff member I felt with was rude. I’m a kind person and even being kind all I got in return was attitude.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and I had fun in the pool and hot tub. There were lots of towels and the bed was firm which was great.

The noise from next door at night, the coffee maker that didn't work in my room and the limited choice of T.V. channels.

The staff were great! We didn’t check out the pool but it was busy so it must have been a hit! Everything was very clean and the breakfast was more than adequate. Very good value for the money.

It’s not in the best location, there were some unsavoury characters who frequented the parking lot at times…

The cooked breakfast (eggs, sausages, potatoes) were overdone and hence inedible. The orange juice was good and I liked the yogurt. I had toasted bagels which were O.K.

Horrible housekeeping services, didn't restock coffee pods daily, pillows lumpy and uncomfortable, co worker had truck keys and wallet stolen from his room approximately 10 min after checking in when he left to use hot tub, 1 water slide out of service for whole week stay, hotel has a gross smell to it

Pool too cold. Jacuzzi out of order. We booked here because of the pool and Jacuzzi. Very disappointing. Had to have our room keys recoded THREE times. Not only was this inconvenient...but when I asked to have someone bring new keys up as we waited outside the room....the front desk clerk said she would "try". Took them at least 15 minutes to get the keys to us.

The lack of a decent gym, the fact from my truck to my room was 5:00 walk because it was literally in a different building attached together that was super confusing.

Room had water dripping from ceiling air conditioner large area of rug water logged and used towels to walk over. Pool only had one water slide running. Other was locked off. Water was good temp. Egress door had push bar falling off door. Food was good. Service to replace tv and plug ins was fast. Owen out outlets.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was very disappointed by the overall condition and maintenance of the property. When we arrived on the second floor, there was an active roof leak with a garbage bin collecting water. Upon entering our room (243), the decorative bed runner had white crusty residue on it. The bathroom had clearly not been cleaned properly, with toothpaste and water marks around the sink, dusty and dirty corners on both the floor and countertop, and white staining on the coffee station table. The curtains were hanging improperly, and the ceiling around them was peeling and cracking. Despite these issues, we decided to give the hotel a chance and took the kids to the pool. Unfortunately, the pool area was also poorly maintained. The vents appeared moldy and rusty, the floors and grout were dirty, there was visible white debris on the bottom of the pool, the showers looked unclean, and the stairs to the waterslide were covered in dirt. The bottom of the waterslide also appeared to have mold or heavy staining where it entered the pool. Later that evening, I discovered there was no hot water in our room. We were offered another room, but it also had no hot water, and the bathtub would not drain properly. When I turned the air conditioner down to cool the room, it began dripping from the ceiling vent onto the floor, making enough noise to make it difficult to sleep. Overall, the cleanliness and maintenance of this hotel fell well below acceptable standards. I was extremely disappointed with the condition of both the room and the common areas. Unfortunately, this experience has ensured that I will not return or recommend this hotel to others.

The hair dryer didn’t work in one of our rooms. The place needs some TLC and upgrading. The shower head was not great.

The rooms are very dated and need new mattresses. Our mattress was so uncomfortable that it felt like we were rolling to the middle of the bed at all times

As we had been working through the night, when asked if it was possible to chck in early, we were accomadated very nicely! Excelent staff!

Breakfast was good. Sauna was excellent

They allow smoking in bottom floor rooms and it’s gross and unhealthy for other guests that have to walk through to their rooms. We were on the second floor and it was coming up through to our rooms. The hotel is a maze and not one I was comfortable having my kids walk around to get to breakfast etc alone.

They didn’t let us know that one waterslide is out of order. We called the front desk prior to booking online to ask pool hours too. We are a family of 6 so we purchased 2 rooms for the night. Rooms are dirty and outdated. Hallways smell like smoke and are hot and stinky. Someone’s vehicle was stolen from the parking lot overnight while we were there.

Too old and complicated walk way into the room, no any indication signage for lift . As per my first visit, I could not find the lift to 3rd floor. I need to use stairs case and carry the luggage into the room. Room key card is also not working properly. I need to spend time for 5-10 mins to swipe the card in order to open the room. Extremely bad experience

The pool had NO heat, and the second waterside was not working. Big let down for us as l booked this hotel because of the pool and waterslides. Also, the sauna was not working. My son had stayed at the Travel lodge about 2 years ago, and it had the SAME problems.

Breakfast was ok - the sausage was reformed 'meat', and the eggs were...rather tasteless. But it was warm, and there was a good selection of drinks (tea, coffee, water, juices).

The front desk staff were welcoming and polite and the breakfast was fine.

While this hotel is older and could use significant updating, there are more immediate concerns. This hotel is in desperate need of 1) basic maintenance and 2) deep cleaning Regarding basics maintenance in the room: one bed was broken, part of the tap in the shower was not securely attached to the wall, wall paper was peeling off the walls, the door jam on the exterior door required repairs, there was water damage and large cracks in the ceiling, the bath tub was chipped and the attempts to caulk around the facet and tub edges were poorly done. Regarding cleaning. The room and the entire hotel was grubby - simply unclean. While general cleaning was likely completely it was very surface cleaning. Around the edges of walls there was so much dirt built up it was really gross. The pool area has significant deficiencies and I’m surprised it passes safety inspections. There is water damage and mildew everywhere. At the top of the waterslides the non concrete walls are spongy - water damage spongy. There are screws sticking out and loose in places. The tiles in the floor require a deep clean and the pool tiles require a good scrub of the scum/water line. The lighting by the water slide is poor and really dark. It is 2026 there should not be smoking in any sections of any hotels. While they have designated smoking rooms the hallways leading to these rooms stink like smoke - it is disgusting.

It was a long way to walk to our room as the elevator wasn’t working.

Hotel took out payment out of my account twice, even though I booked and paid through booking. The hallways were freezing cold. None of their cards worked. I had to go back a few times. There is water damage all over the ceilings. Things falling apart in the rooms.

Staff were friendly and attentive to all the needs except for the one front desk/receptionist that was a little rude. An older lady January 16 day.i was just asking if they have a generator that stay on in the hallways when during the powers off the day before. Very defensive and telling me that I can go to another hotel if im not satisfied instead of just simply saying that the generator is good for just an hour. I know that it was the whole lloyd but being alone in the dark room for that long is scary didn't even che k the guest if they are ok. Definitely the ceiling have visible leaks needs renovations and did not notice camera on the the hallway for safety measures. Needs to brighten the hallways a bit.

Front counter failed to provide breakfast vouchers at check in, resulting in delays when going to eat. Main floor halls dirty, smells of mice, smoke, and cannabis. Not sure why we were put at farthest end of old building. TV had poor channel selection (nothing for Lloydminster or Edmonton).

Jessica at front desk was amazing in helping me in a bad situation when booking.com made things difficult for me and the manager was amazing as well. The rooms were great, beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was really good!

The beds were terrible, worn out , the bathroom door wouldn’t close without reefing on it. Towels totally worn out . We wanted over an hour for our food in the restaurant which is no big deal but when we did get it the food was overcooked.

So dirty. Really, truly, dirty. Like chewed food left on the floor under the curtains in our room dirty. Bug carcasses against the walls kind of dirty.

Had to walk far for room. No elevator service for room and had to climb stairs. Exit door close to room locked to come back in. Harder with dog and had to go around with dog.

The young maintenance guy yelled at me in the pool area and threatened me over a kid I didn’t even know. I can appreciate kids misbehave; however, there’s more professional ways to deal with guests. A water slide was down, the rooms are COLD because the windows leak, and the elevators are in desperate need of repair. Guests were getting stuck between floors, there was water leaking through the ceiling in the hallways.. it was pretty bad..
