Het eten dar we s avonds bestelden van hun menu sloeg wat tegen.

Just wish they would allow dogs in the restaurant even if it was to a certain area. We have stayed at other HI and if they can accommodate dogs I can’t see why they couldn’t do so here.

Emillien was a great host and even provided breakfast next day which was a nice bonus! House was lovely inside, nicely decorated, great shower and facilities.

As the location is in the countryside, I had planned to cook which was great, kitchen had everything apart from some cutting knives for chopping etc. I got by but could with some in the house.

Struttura a soli tre minuti a piedi dalla stazione e a una decina scarsa dal centro pertanto comodissima per chi viaggia con i mezzi pubblici. L'hotel è moderno e ben tenuto, la camera molto ampia dotata di due letti con materassi di diversa consistenza (uno soffice l'altro rigido). Bagno del pari molto grande. Wi-fi potentissimo (oltre i 100 mega al secondo secondo speed test). Televisione panoramica e aria condizionata completano il quadro. Colazione invero non memorabile, certo, c'è quasi tutto quello che ci si aspetta ma qualcosa di più vario sul versante dolce sarebbe stato gradito (mancano invece gli yogurt alla frutta, ahimè solo bianco); da segnalare positivamente invece la possibilità di spremersi qualche arancia fresca sul momento. Rapporto qualità prezzo non popolare ma sopportabile (81,28 oltre 1,20 di tassa di soggiorno).

Nothing really. Breakfast was great but chaotic ! Very busy and not a big enough space around the buffet area but a minor point in the scheme of things.

The room was okay, a bit small, but it was fine. The beds were comfortable and all clean.

Breakfast - there is room for improvement. There were only a few options for breakfast. For us who have eggs for breakfast, there were boiled eggs which were hard and very cold or scrambled eggs which were mushy and not cooked well. It could be much better considering it is a Holiday Inn..

Don’t normally leave reviews but this holiday inn exceeddd expectations. Very modern, clean, staff very helpful and spoke English- clear instructions and advice of local area. Breakfast was very well organised and nice selection. Free arcade, football table and brita water filling stations really nice touch- kids didn’t want to leave!

Room was a little small for four but not complaining- we were happy.

It was very quiet and the staff were lovely. All spoke excellent English even though I can speak French. They went out of their way to help you, especially Fanny who was lovely

Only a minor issue, no fresh decaff coffee at breakfast, only powdered. But the staff made me fresh decaff to take in.

A decent hotel for a one-night stay, affordable, and within walking distance of the town centre. Nice touch to give the kids a little welcome bag on arrival.

Breakfast wasn't great (but it was included in the price) and it felt a bit hectic with a lot of guests in quite a small space.

The hotel had a nice play area for kids, the breakfast was much better than the average French breakfast (as it had bacon, scrambled eggs, and sausages), the location was good enough in terms of being near the city center, and parking was close (under the hotel) for 12 euros a day. You're almost always going to pay when you park in a city... it's just a question of how much. Staff were friendly and helpful. Most of all - there were rooms that could accommodate a family of 4 - even if cramped - which is not a given in Europe.

Not sure how it could be fixed - but the rooms were a bit cramped when the second bed was open. Basically, just room for one open suitcase - two was a real tetris game....

Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bett sehr bequem. Das Sofa von den Kindern war auch okay. Der öffentliche Parkplatz hinter dem Hotel war überraschend günstig.

Beim Frühstück war das Geschirr und Besteck sehr schlecht gespült. Insgesamt war das Frühstück eher lieblos, aber grundsätzlich alles da.

I selected this hotel as it was advertised as having onsite parking. When we arrived we were advised there was no onsite parking. We could either use an outdoor car park which would be free if we left before 9.00am the following morning, or an underground car park nearby. We chose the underground option, but confused by the information given, as the underground car park was linked to the Holiday Inn Express by a lift which took us to reception. We needed to get our car Park ticket validated the next morning, with a charge of 12€. I paid by cash. When we presented the ticket at the barrier, there was a message stating we still owed 12€. I returned to the hotel reception to explain the ticket validation hadn't worked. The girl on reception apologised and appeared to re-program the ticket. I presented the ticket a second time, but it appeared the second attempt at validation hadn't worked. We were in a hurry, so I paid the fee by card. I have therefore paid 24€ for a 12€ charge. The girl on reception at 6.30am on Saturday 22 August was called LEA. She could see we were in a hurry, and I wonder if she took advantage of that fact. I hope not.

Ligging is ietsje minder centraal.

Kamer met een één- en tweepersoonsbed geboekt. Bij aankomst in de kamer was het éénpersoonsbed niet opgemaakt. Zonder enig probleem kregen we een andere kamer met het juiste aantal opgemaakte bedden.

Kamer was niet direct klaar omdat één opgemaakt bed ontbrak. Dit werd zoals eerder vermeld echter snel opgelost.

Hotel and facilities were spotless and tastefully decorated. Very friendly welcome. Parking was convenient, 12 euro's per night but underground and connected to the hotel, paid on departure. Loved the breakfast, lots of choice and complimentary.

Ontbijt was boven verwachting goed, verder was het personeel erg aardig en professioneel. Vooral Julia was bleef erg aardig toen ze er alleen voor stond. De bar en de receptie tegelijkertijd, petje af!

The building and adjoining buildings look very tired. Internal stairwells are dirty and smelly and detract from the feel of a good hotel. Overall it feels low budget.

I walked in to find 2 single beds which isn’t what i booked, but after arriving at 2am I wasn’t going to complain. That aside bed was very comfortable. Parking opposite fleeced me, not realising the hotel had its own carpark, but that’s my fault.

Lekkere ruime kamer op de 4e verdieping met balkon, en zeer goed werkende airconditioning. De kamer was erg schoon. Parkeren is prima geregeld, ligt onder het hotel en super makkelijk te vinden overal staat het aangegeven op de borden, wij snappen dan ook niet dat mensen klagen in de reviews dat ze het niet konden vinden. Parkeren kost 12 euro per dag. Het hotel ligt op 5 minuten lopen van het centrum. Ontbijt is prima er ligt alles wat je nodig hebt, het kan wat uitgebreider maar de prijs kwaliteit verhouding is prima 😀 Personeel is prima, maar kan wel wat vriendelijker/enthousiaster.

De verbrande spek bij het ontbijt, en de jam was elke dag op, en wij waren er als eerste. De stad Arras is mooi maar bevat eigenlijk maar 2 grote pleinen, en een paar kleine winkelstraatjes.

Lovely little kids bag given to the children with some little toys and games for their stay. Comfortable room, nice bathroom, plenty of room. The TV allowed you to screen cast so we could watch something of our choosing. Good location, easy walk into Arras. We followed this stay, with two 4 star hotels and we preferred this to either of them.

Staying for one night on August 10, 2026, the Holiday Inn Express Arras proved to be an exceptionally convenient, clean, and comfortable base right in the heart of town. Its prime location directly opposite the main train station made exploring Arras's historic squares an easy 10-minute walk. The front desk staff were warm and efficient at check-in, the air-conditioned room offered a quiet and restful sleep, and the complimentary breakfast buffet provided a fresh, well-stocked spread to fuel our morning departure.

The underground Carnot car park incurs an additional daily fee (€12–€19/night) and the entrance can be tricky to navigate on There is no full-service restaurant for dinner only basic bar snacks/pizzas, so you'll need to walk into town for a hot meal. No fridge in the room.

Good underground parking connected to the hotel. Close to the historic centre, the shops and restaurants. Excellent breakfast and good to be able to have breakfast even with an early start in the morning.
