Heerlijk hotel in het centrum van Arras. Helaas is er wel een beperkt aantal parkeerplaatsen maar in de directe omgeving kun je prima parkeren.

Great location for visiting Arras and nice to have parking option as well. Bed comfortable

Rooms and venue a bit dated and could do with a refresh and tidy up. Bar was unattended and we had to find staff to help us and wine options extremely limited as didnt have some of them. Coffee ran out in breakfast and we had to go out and use the one in the lobby. Nothing major at all but have stayed in better hotels

Very quiet, comfortable big bed, friendly staff and nice location. Great value for money

It's a bit tired, there's was a bit of a smell in the bathroom and they only gave us one bath towel! We didn't say anything because it was too late by the time we realised! I'm sure this was just an oversight. It was such great value.

We have stayed here 3 times before. It's got safe parking out of site ( but was very full ) .it's just a few minutes walk from the square .it a good price too .nice comfy rooms and a good size breakfast .

Our motorcycles were blocked in by a car .we did manage to all get out but it was difficult . Breakfast has allways been good here but I was disappointed this time .there was a continental breakfast selection ,only hot food was scrambled egg .we asked if there would be sausages and bacon but were told that the cooker had broken .to me it's not acceptable when you have a full hotel .there should be an alternative way to cook .one lady had to run reception and the bar .maybe it's new owners but service does seem to be going backwards .such a shame

De locatie was uitstekend en rustig.

Er is geen airco in de kamer. De aankleding van het restaurant is gedateerd. De rode wijn bij het diner was te warm. Het ontbijt was ontoereikend en erg sober.

A little dated. Breakfast was meagre and seemed “muddled”. Sparse choice of yogurts and cereals. Minimalistic not much of anything set out. Presentation needs improving to make it look more appetising.

We always request the same room which meets our needs. Location is excellent however breakfast is overpriced and avarage.

Rude staff member called Caroline. They say they are pet friendly, however our dog was not allowed in the restaurant or the bar for an evening meal. We were only allowed to have our breakfast in the bar area. Since the hotel was taken over, it has gone downhill. It is operating with minimal staff and the receptionist was also serving behind the bar and in the restaurant. We have stayed at this hotel for the last 10 years but this year we were very disappointed.

La petite chose améliorée était sur les baignoires, mais quelque chose antidérapant à l'intérieur. Et pour le petit déjeuner, j'aurais aimé avoir des petites saucisses un peu plus grillées. Et en avoir un peu plus souvent. On en a eu que le samedi matin. On est arrivé le vendredi soir. On est reparti le lundi matin.

The bed was comfortable

Where do I start. When we got there and went to park(which is very tight) there was a nicefreshh dog poo at the rear of my car. The door handle to the hotel entrance was broken, it's been broken for some time according to reveiws and it was fixed while we were there. We got upgraded to a superior room. Room 119. Hmmmm room with a veiw over the vents and aircon for the bar and kitchen area. The fire alarm was hanging off the wall outside the room. Im pleased we didnt need that. The toilets upstairs can be heard flushing through the drains in the walls. The lift is right outside the room and noisy . As its 2026 I thought there wpuld be tea and coffee in the room but no you have to go down stairs to the coffee bar for that then back upto your room. Oh and the mirror in the room fallen off the wall and on the floor The breakfast. Forget it, go into town and get something there. Absolutely dire. Only plus point was the bed was comfortable. We tried to speak to staff about all this but they didn't seem to care or were to busy. Its definitely not a 4 star hotel. Ive stayed in glamping pods with better facilities and in better condition. Any English folk reading this ......Fawlty Towers

We checked out before breakfast no water or drinks in the room and coffee machine in foyer out of service. Hotel doesn’t look like it was refurbished since the monks lived in it - scruffy shabby and dirty. No flat sheet on mattress 🤢 only on the topper. Dirty damaged walls in room, mould and damp on shower ceiling, awful tired decor looks like it’s all been pulled out of a skip, filthy stained carpets on the staircase, threadbare carpets in the hallways, bricked door handle, I could go on! Literally nothing would make me want to go here again and trust me if we’d not been driving 11hrs we would have walked out straight away. No WAY is this 4 stars. Avoid it’s gross.

Fijne, ruime kamer, parkeergelegenheid op mooie binnenplaats, vriendelijk medewerkers, mooie locatie in het centrum.

Geen tegenvaller maar toch. Aanvankelijk kregen we een kamer op de tweede verdieping, erg klein en niet met de lift bereikbaar. Na verzoek om een upgrade werd dat heel snel geregeld en kregen we een heerlijke kamer op de eerste verdieping.

Carpets worn Stair carpet down to reception needs a serious clean! Shower is an old fashioned sprayhead inside the bath. Over 70s could struggle to climb into the high sided bath, and get out, safely No proper thermostatic valve for the shower - took ages to get the temperature right

Could have been more amenable to early check-in. We arrived approximately an hour early but made us wait for exact checkin time.

les portes des wc + salle de bain qui grincent fortement à chaque ouverture et fermeture, + le lit trop grand par rapport à la taille de la chambre qui fait qu'il n'y a qu'une seule table de chevet tournée contre le lit (donc impossible d'utiliser le tiroir) et de l'autre côté aucune table, donc impossible de poser ses lunettes, son livre, son téléphone... + l'odeur forte de l'aspirateur en entrant.

We had a junior suite, very comfortable and spacious. The hotel is a few mins walk from the main squares and offered parking at a fair rate 10.00.

Car Parking reads as if it is secure and included when booking room but once we arrived i was told our fully loaded car could not be parked in the secure parking as it was not booked separately. This was sorted eventually but the added stress of this after 5 hour drive was unnecessary.

Magnifique bâtisse très centrale, belle grande chambre lumineuse et très calme, excellente literie ; poubelle de tri dans la chambre ; possibilité de prendre un verre d'eau, un thé ou un café dans le lobby.

Petit déjeuner basique, manque de choix et trop de produits industriels (fromages...) ; l'insonorisation dans les chambre devrait être améliorée ; enfin, la moquette est omniprésente dans l'hôtel et souffre d'un manque d'entretien : les tapis de l'escalier principal et de la salle du petit-déjeuner sont sales, ce qui donne malheureusement une impression globale de négligence et de manque d'hygiène.

Very central in Arras. Only a short distance to walk to the city centre and restaurants. Convenient on șițe bar. Free coffee in bar area.

Circuitous route to room, but not a big issue as we didn't need to use the lift. Slightly quirky layout. Tight for parking but we did have a designated parking space.

Beau bâtiment. Charme de l'ancien. Emplacement idéal à quelques minutes du beffroi. Chambre spacieuse et lumineuse. Salle de bain récente.

Les moquettes des couloirs sont un peu fatiguées, les chevets également... On entend les bruits de la salle de bain de la chambre voisine. La machine à café du hall était en panne à notre passage et il n'y avait personne au bar : avons dû revenir plus tard.

Reserved parking is good. Breakfast very good. The location is perfect for exploring the town and visiting attractions in the region. Rooms are comfortable and have most of the necessary facilities.

In the hot weather on this years visit, air conditioning would have been an advantage, but the hotel was kept at reasonable temperature most of the time.

Het was best warm op de kamer. Het restaurant was gesloten.

De plek is geweldig!! Prima personeel. De trap naar 2de verdieping voor mij lastig. Vooral door vaste voerbedekking, glad. Die oude vloerbedekking ligt overal ( met hond) niet zo hygiënisch. Vraag naar kamer op 1ste verdieping ( met lift). Zelfde prijs. Veilige betaalde parkeerplaats.

What a lovely find. Centre of Arras, next to shops and restaurants so the location was excellent. The hotel is dated, or my room was but it was clean and comfortable. Staff were all very friendly and helped with translation. I booked safe parking for my motorbike on the terrace. All in all, great value.

The handrail in the bathroom was rusty, room was dated but didn't detract from the experience.

The location was perfect in a wonderful old setting. A short walk from all the restaurants, bars and shops. Close to culture etc. A perfect stopping point to enjoy a lovely town.

Literie tellement épaisse que les draps ne bordent que sur le surmatelas et se débordent facilement. Pas de plateau de courtoisie dans la chambre mais une machine à café à disposition dans le hall de l'hôtel. Le lit king size prend toute la place dans la chambre. Parking trop petit (seulement une dizaine de places et sur réservation) Pour moi pas un vrai 4 étoiles

The hotel is a little jaded inside and could do with a facelift, especially the stair carpets...

De kamers zijn erg verouderd en wat uitgeleefd. We hadden een junior suite maar die was niet erg mooi, waardoor dit de meerprijs niet waard was voor ons. Erg klein bad in de badkamer. We hadden een parkeerplek gereserveerd voor elektrisch laden voor onze auto maar het opladen werkte niet. Het ontbijt had zeer beperkte keuze.

Het was erg gehorig. Op het binnenhof kwamen gasten nog laat binnen met veel lawaai , en de kamers zijn gehorig.

Lots of great local bars. Hotel a little dated but not unpleasantly. Rooms airy with old fashioned shutters and facilities v clean, staff polite and helpful. Good breakfast and parking make this an easy place to stay.

The secure parking and the hotel's location

Het hotel ligt in het centrum van Arras, maar daar heb je in het hotel geen weet van want het is erg stil binnen en het ligt aan een pleintje een beetje afgelegen van de doorgaande weg. Het ontbijt was erg goed, de koffie smaakte lekker. Parkeren van de auto doe je pal naast het hotel. Vanuit onze kamer hadden we zicht op de parkeerplaats en de eigen auto. Het personeel was erg aardig, behulpzaam en informatief. We vonden dit een uitstekend hotel voor een tussenstop van ons vakantieverblijf naar huis. Daarbij is het centrum van Arras erg gezellig met veel terrasjes. En ‘s-nachts heb je geen weet dat je in het centrum bent van Arras, het is werkelijk heerlijk stil in het hotel. Als we volgend jaar wederom naar Frankrijk gaan twijfelen we geen moment om weer dit hotel te boeken voor een overnachting.

Ondanks we goed hebben geslapen -na een lange autorit waren we best wel moe- had het matras ietsje harder gekund. Het was verre van slecht, maar een beetje zacht was het wel. Nogmaals, onze nachtrust heeft hier niet onder geleden.

The spacious room was quiet and comfortable, with a fan provided - much appreciated during the heatwave! I liked the décor too; very much in keeping with the history of the building. The location was ideal, just a short walk from a lovely square with a good selection of restaurants and bars (the hotel restaurant was closed for the annual staff holiday). The buffet breakfast was excellent, and I found all the staff friendly and helpful.

I would have liked drink facilities in the room. There was free coffee available downstairs for guests, but no kettle or coffee maker in the room itself.

The lies in the description. "Separate Bedroom". This is a lie. The bedroom is not separate to the living area, which is just some chairs in the bedroom. This was important to us. Apparently NONE of the hotel's rooms have separate living room to bedroom, making this a deliberate lie. "Courtyard view." The view was of a brick wall immediately outside the bedroom window, not a courtyard. Making this a lie. Very upsetting after paying extra for a superior room with a courtyard view.

Le charme d’un vieux bâtiment, aménagé avec confort. La chambre n’était pas climatisée, nous étions en pleine canicule, mais nous avons très bien dormi.

Quality of the room needs improvement. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The bathroom bath waste plug couldn't be lifted so had to leave waste water in the bath. Breakfast was very poor, no bacon, coffee machine faulty, overall not good value for money.

Sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel. Sauber und komfortabel eingerichtetes Zimmer. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung.

Einziges Manko war, dass unser Zimmer (Nr. 118) im Dachgeschoss ist und wir keinerlei Aussicht hatten. Wir schauten auf das unmittelbar angrenzende Dach des Nachbargebäudes. Hier hätte man uns ggf. ein anderes Zimmer geben können, auch wenn wir nur eine Nacht dort waren.
