Fantastic views

Breakfast choice appeared a bit inflexible. I asked if I could have some of the cooked breakfast and some of the continental and was told NO. Also I had to ask them to put out more fruit.

The continental breakfast was quite limited and repetitive.

Basic but perfectly nice hotel, with a good bar, decent breakfast, great view and lovely staff.

Location was perfect and the room was spotlessly clean. I really liked the additional touch of having wet wipes for makeup or sun cream so the towels would not get stained. I also loved the sound of the ocean at night time.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Friendly helpful staff, we only had breakfast but very tasty and plenty of choice. You could sit outside for drinks and food and watch the world go by. We had a fridge in our room and had a lovely sea view. A choice of restaurants round about and within walking distance of the town and bus station and shops but also on a bus route.

The hotel is on the beachfront in a convenient location. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The property felt a little dated and dusty. Our beds and towels were clean but the room was in need of a deep clean. One morning, we asked for all our towels to be replaced but only some of them were changed, which felt a little tight.

Ich hatte NIE kaltes Wasser in meinem Zimmer, um halbwegs kühles Wasser zu haben, musste ich ohne Ende das Wasser laufen lassen, das war sehr unschön.

Posizione un po’ distante dal centro di St Helier; per arrivarci a piedi ci vogliono 20 min attraversando anche una galleria, oppure in autobus. Hotel decisamente modesto. Staff impreparato, anche se cortese.

I stayed for two nights during the week. The room was tidy and clean. The bathroom was run-down but it looked more or less clean. I had a partial beach view which meant that I could see the tip of the beach from my window and if I leaned out I was able to see the whole of it. Checking-in was easy and staff was helpful. There was even a fan and a radiator in the room. The location of the hotel is really nice if you want to be close to the beach. The town is about a 15 min walk away, although a bit uphill.

However the building is extremely poorly soundproofed so you could hear everything (conversations, steps) from the hallway and from the upstairs room as well as other sounds from the outside and the bar/restaurant. The tiles you stepped on creaked as well. For my two night stay it was endurable but I honestly wouldn’t recommend the hotel for a longer stay. I can also imagine the sounds being worse/louder on the weekend.

This is a quaint little hotel. A bit dated but very reasonably priced and authentic in its older style. Nice breakfast and dinner overlooking the sea. I was there for work so was able to use wifi and work remotely after checking out. 5 mins from Lido which was good. its not a fancy hotel but has character.

Dated but was happy enough as I had everything I needed. Wasn't expecting luxury - so fair for the price.

On first arrival to the hotel the staff made us feel so welcome. Room was clean and beautifully soft white towels. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of choices. Quiz & karaoke night on the Thursday was great.

Friday & Saturday night they had a private function on in the hotel. 3 course meal + entertainment for £70 , as we were only there for 3 nights we wanted to go out and explore Jersey. On arrival back at the hotel approx 10pm we were told we could not come in and get a drink in the lounge. We had to go to the bar across the road to get a drink. Did not think this was acceptable as we were residents of the hotel but Cliff the manager stated we could not get a drink.

Tiny room, no control on shower temp, TV not fit for purpose (1 channel could be viewed without interuption, but not the most expensive hotel and quite close to industrial centre

le petit déjeuner était compris dans le prix mais il fallait rajouter pour une boisson chaude et autres plats ! la base était de tres mauvaise qualité et uniquement après 8h du matin pad avant donc pas de déjeuner avant de prendre le bateau et partir tôt en randonnée. Ne pad prendre l’option petit déjeuner !!!!

No car parking

Manager was extremely helpful, especially when our return ferry was cancelled at short notice. He managed to shuffle bookings so that we retained our rooms. Food was ok. Location was perfect for busing into St Helier and out to Gory.

We weren't aware that there was a festival going on over the weekend. Very loud. But at least it finished at a reasonable time.

In meinem Zimmer gab es ein zwei Sachen welche etwas in die Jahre gekommen sind und renoviert werden sollten. Das war aber für mich nicht der ausschlaggebende Punkt.

L’hôtel est très bien situé. L’accueil est sympathique.

La température de l’eau de la douche difficile à gérer et la pression assez faible Notre chambre de 4 personnes était un peu petite pour 4 lits et donc 4 valises Le sèche cheveux est à remplacer (très bruyant avec vibration désagréable) L’ensemble est un peu désuet

The room was a little dated but the view from our window was amazing. With the tide continuously changing the coastline & view. The breakfast was lovely with cereal, juices , fruit ,toast etc plus an excellent choice from a cooked menu. We had a little trouble with the water but it was rectified quickly. Geoff the manager was attentive, friendly and very helpful.

Having to come home!

20 min walk into centre so not far to walk. We couldn’t be any nearer to the sea and was worth paying a little extra for the view. Very nice food and was able to sit outside and drink

Great location right on the sea front. Staff very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast provided a good selection. I had a single room which was perfectly adequate for the few days I was there. Reasonable range of restaurants and bars nearby

15/20 minutes walk from Liberation Square, the sort of centre of things. Tip - ignore Google Maps directions for walking as it takes you through a long traffic tunnel. Look for the cycle path which is much more pleasant to walk along! Water pressure in the shower was a bit lacking for my preference

Absolutely perfect position. We had a king size sea view room (room 33) Impressed with the cleanliness. And very impressed there were cotton bath robes!! Lovely white fluffy towels and lovely white fresh bedding. Plenty of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. All the staff and General manager were fabulous and couldnt do more for you if they tried!!

Smelled slightly musty when we first arrived and the room was slightly outdated but great value for the money.

Worth getting a sea view room for stunning outlook over the coast

Only stayed for a weekend break. Nice location with direct access to promenade and beach. About a 15 minute stroll to main shopping area. The Dockyard restaurant offers a good choice of well cooked meals. Good entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings.

The photos do not give a true likeness of the room we were allocated . It was very dated and in need of refurbishing. The bathroom featured a shower over a bath, not the walk in shower as in the photo. The grout in the tiles was dirty and the silicone around the bath was stained. The room was extremely hot and there is no air conditioning. The TV in the room had poor or no reception.

Food was excellent. Location wonderful. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful.

Excellent location on the beach ! Especially if you have a sea view room , great bar and restaurant friendly staff , walking distance to other restaurants and bus stop into town , though it is walkable

Felt sorry for the guy working in the bar on his own , was having to serve drinks and wait on tables at some time’s!

Right by the ocean Breakfast was nice and the staff are helpful. About 15 minutes walk from the town centre Rooms are comfortable and we had a partial sea view.

No on site parking, car park about 5-10 minutes away. Bed was small.

Very clean accommodation. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect even it was a last minute booking due to cancelled flight. They had a balcony which looked on the sea and a 10 minute walk into the town.

Hôtel bien situé front de mer et relativement proche du centre ville, proche d'un arrêt de bus. Les chambres sont confortables même si elles mériteraient un petit rafraîchissement.

Die Zimmer mit Meerblick 🙃🔆 und der Gezeiten Pool in der Nähe. Und das ausgezeichnete Frühstück 👍gute Küche beim Abendessen der Blick auf das Meer. Ideal für Läufer und morgensportler, sehr nette Mitarbeiter! Und das beobachten von Ebbe und Flut. 🏊

De niveau verschillen in de eetzaal. Dat men niets voor fietsers doet. Men heeft zelfs geen fietspomp, terwijl men zoveel fietsers heeft. Er is geen gehandicapten kamer.

The view was excellent. The bed was soft and comfy. The room was cleam. Enough coffe and tea and cold water.

The bathroom. Taps leaking.. Water only luke warm. Showerhead lever at the tap was stuck. Toilet didn't flush properly every time.

The curtain pole is too thick for the curtains so it is literally impossible to fully close the curtains so we were woken way earlier than we wanted.

Chambre dépassée, moquette crasseuse, bruits nocturnes insupportables même avec des boules quies, liés aux réceptions faites au 1 er étage , Où était située notre chambre, samedi soir une fête d’anniversaire les 18 ans d’une jeune femme y était organisée ( j’ai des photos) ouverte à des personnes extérieures avec musique jusqu’à minuit ! Les murs de notre chambre tremblaient les gens hurlaient une discothèque ! Ils nous ont attribué cette chambre après ma demande de changement car la première chambre au 2 eme étage sentait la fumée de cigarette ! !! Ils se sont vengés en nous mettant dans cette chambre à côté de la salle des fêtes !!!! C’est honteux aucun respect Des Clients ! Ils n’ont pas fait le ménage le premier jour j’ai dû réclamer des serviettes, oups la femme de Ménage a oublié sorry ! Cela n’est Pas un hôtel mais plus un endroit de divertissement ! En plus de l’anniversaire au premier étage samedi soir, Vendredi et samedi soir au rdc un spectacle une chanteuse imitant Whitney houston avec repas était organisé pour des personnes extérieures à l’hôtel !!!!je précise J’ai demandé un remboursement lors de ma demande de changement de chambre mais la propriétaire a refusé car nous voulions partir de Cet hôtel ! Les chambres sont dans un état delorable, et sales …. Les propriétaires ne sont là que pour encaisser l’argent !!! Ils nous ont gâchés nos vacances ! Un conseil ne choisissez surtout pas cet hôtel ! Je suis très déçue de booking au passage !!!’

Das Frühstücksangebot ist hervorragend. Die Auswahl riesig groß. Das Personal schnell und freundlich. Geoff, der Hotelmanager absolut kompetent, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im kleinen Bad sind sämtliche Pflegeprodukte vorhanden. Die Bushaltestelle liegt 1 Minute vom Hotel entfernt. Die Innenstadt ist nur 3 Haltestellen entfernt. In der Nähe des Hotels befindet sich ein sehr gutes Fischrestaurant in der Roseville Road.

Die Badezimmertüre ließ sich nicht schließen.
