Breakfast room was rather dark, but the breakfast served was very good. Evening meals where also very good.

Breakfast could have offered an occasional variation to the menu, eg pastries/cakes however this did not change in the two weeks we were there, but what was offered was very good. The restaurant should have offered a small bites menu, not everyone can or wants to eat a large meal every day Sadly due to a building problem we were unable to utilise our balcony for the second week of our holiday, the loss of the outside space made a huge difference to the enjoyment of our holiday. Very few hotels in Jersey offer balcony’s, the hotel / room was chosen due to the availability of the balcony, so you can imagine our disappointment when we where unable to use it.

Hotel was just a bit tired in places, some carpets and paintwork and decor, overall a bit soulless. staffing professional and functional rather than helpful and engaging. Room was big, plenty of space and complete with mini fridge, iron/board, hairdryer, tea/coffeebut no views and walk into town a bit far if you are in mid sixties up but it is on a bus route. The breakfast was really good, buffet style, good quality and range on offer. Unfortunately with a name like Savoy, expectations were high but not met.

The check in and check out experience was very swift and pleasant, staff are alwas smiling and very approachable

So many things, first of all we booked a suite with a balcony, the weather lately has been lovely. We specifically, wanted a balcony. It is the only reason we booked this location. It was one of the rare places that still had availability with a balcony, we booked this hotel at least 8 months ago. I chose the option to pay four days before check in, at no time did I receive any correspondence from the venue reporting any issue. My payment went through roughly 10. AM on the scheduled day, not 20 minutes later and I receive an email from the venue advising me that there was an issue and the balcony could not be used, the email mentioned a vague offer that we would be compensated without any mention of what this compensation would be, i then emailed straight back advising.I was not interested in compensation, and I would like them to switch us to one of the other rooms with a balcony, i received an immediate response, saying there were only three rooms with balconies, and all balconies had experienced the same issue and were out of use, i was advised that I would be given an offer of compensation. Realising, there was nothing I could do, and then only 3 more days until arrival there would be no point in trying to find a suitable replacement and cancelling. I also didn't want to cancel, as my payment had already been taken. Upon check-in. I asked how we were to be compensated and was told no decision had been made.In fact, the manager was on the phone to another guest now dealing with the same issue, and as soon as the decision had been made, I would be informed, we stayed at the venue for three days and two nights, not once was I approached or contacted with an offer of compensation. On the day of check out, I again asked about said compensation. The matter was clearly brushed over by the duty manager, who explained swiftly that I was to be sent an email and nothing further could be done from thier end to me personally.

Il est dommage que l'aspirateur ne fût pas passé durant notre séjour. Côté dîner, nous avons apprécié le repas jazz mais pas le service : on nous a pressé pour commander l'apéritif suivi du plat et une fois débarrassé, il a fallu attendre plus d'une demi-heure pour obtenir la carte des dessserts. Si l'on souhaite prendre le petit-déjeuner dans la chambre, un supplément est appliqué de 8 livres/personnes.

Close to the restaurants & bars, parking available although not free, nice restaurant & bar in the hotel & a big screen TV to watch the football.

It was a little noisy as the hotel is on the main road. However as the weather was so hot we did have the window open.

Very noisy, rooms were hot and airless. We moved rooms from the front but then over the bin store. Breakfast was uninspiring (lack of choice) and staff were unreasonable siting health and safety as a reason not to sit outside. Given ceramic coffee cups were allowed it wasn’t clear why breakfast bowls were not. Decor in need of a renovation. Not enough furniture by the pool.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Foyer, Restaurant und Bar waren sehr gut und ansprechend ausgestattet. Es gab mehrfach abends sehr gute Live-Musik. Der kleine Außenbereich mit Swimmingpool war nett und wurde genutzt, da das Zimmer keinen Balkon hatte. Das Essen im Restaurant war lecker, aber recht hochpreisig....Alternativen gab es in näherer Umgebung kaum.

Ohne Auto beträgt die Gehzeit zum Busbahnhof ca. 20 Minuten. Der Bus direkt vor dem Hotel fährt nur selten. Das Zimmer bedarf einer Renovierung, besonders der fleckige Teppichboden müsste entfernt werden. Der Frühstücksraum war lieblos eingerichtet. Es gab in 7 Tagen keine Abwechslung in den angebotenen Speisen.

We had dinner there on 2 evenings which was of a high standard. The pool and surrounds was very good.

The main road is quite busy at peak times and we had to shut the windows to reduce the noise particularly at night.As a result the room was very warm and we had to rely on the fan. No air on.

Rooms very shabby , areas not clean (mirrors , curtains , carpets ) no air conditioning meant we had to have the windows open and the position of the hotel - main road , opposite a big fire station and a few doors away from the ambulance station meant it was incredibly noisy. Bath needs handles for older guests, my mother couldn’t use her bath . The internet signal is our room was very poor which meant that the TV kept losing signal, most days the TV went completely off for hours at a time , usually peak viewing time . We spoke to the reception several times about this and they tried to help, they couldn’t do anything on the Sunday because there was no maintenance staff in , they said it was fine when they checked it on Monday,it wasn’t. Each day we spoke to them and on Wednesday they changed the TV , this improved the situation slightly but the TV still lost signal that night . I tried to explain that it was the signal that was the problem and not the TV but to no avail. I gave up mentioning it from then on . There were 3 non working car chargers in the car park which we were told Tesla had disconnected some time previously but the hotel could have replaced these but didn’t which was very inconvenient to us as car chargers seem few and far between in St Helier .

Grand entrance and room had high quality furniture. Breakfast was good. Roberto's restaurant excellent food and value and service.

The location was within easy walking distance to the main centre. The staff were very courteous and helpful.

The room was very peaceful overlooking the pool.The bed was very comfortable with lovely fresh bed linen and clean towels every day.The buffet style breakfast had everything you could want both cooked and continental. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant one evening. All in all we had a lovely restful holiday which was much needed.

The hotel is very "tired". We stayed 2 years ago and it was "tired" then. The hotel needs a complete refurbishment hotel bedroom wise. The food, staff and main facilities along with the location - great. We paid more for staying 3 nights this time than we did staying for 4 nights 2 years ago.

Die Lage war recht gut als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zu allem Orten auf der Insel. Der zentrale Busbahnhof und die Innenstadt und der Fährhafen von St. Helier waren in ca. 15-20 Min. Erreichbar. Angenehm bei den sehr hohen Temperaturen und sonnigen Tagen während unseres Aufenthaltes war der Pool. Hier konnte man sich abkühlen. Das Personal war freundlich. Das Zimmer war geräumig. Die Handtücher wurden sehr oft gewechselt. Das Hotel hat ein Restaurant für das Abendessen.

Unser Zimmer wurde sehr warm. Eine Klimaanlage gab es nicht. Lediglich einen kleinen Tischventilator. Mit wenig Effekt. Hier sehen wir Optimierungs- / Renovierungsbedarf. (Uns wurde gesagt, dass eine Renovierung geplant sei.) Das Frühstücksangebot ist vergleichsweise übersichtlich und einfach gehalten. Ein warmes Full English Breakfast gibt es.

A really great hotel which is well maintained and has pleasant well trained staff for all facilities. We had a lovely quiet room overlooking the swimming pool and seating area. A really good breakfast with plenty of choices. A 15 minute walk from Liberty Bus Station so a car is not required as you can go everywhere by a reliable subsidised bus service. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. The food available in the evening restaurant is well presented and of good quality. Thanks for a great stay

The weather was exceptionally hot and subsequently our room was really hot. We had all windows closed and curtains closed all day and a fan heater blowing throughout the night. Otherwise everything first class

It was well decorated, clean comfortable bed and exactly what it said a boutique hotel. It was small enough to be friendly beautiful location for a wedding.

I think that I didn’t like it was unfortunate that the coffee machines were out of order so the coffee wasn’t great

no air conditioning and the fact that sitting outside for breakfast was not allowed. This seems an obsured rule as lunch or snacks were allowed on the terrace. The excuse that the seagulls would swoop in ! i’m not sure that the seagulls know the difference between breakfast lunch or dinner. i think this rule needs to be revised as to me it’s a deterrent from booking again ! maybe buy a cat !!

The staff were so friendly and helpful. They could not do enough for us. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The hotel is spotless and in a great location. The outdoor pool and seating area is spotless. I will definitely go back again.

The only negative was there is no air conditioning. When we went it was a freakish 32° but every room had a fan which helped with the heat. Otherwise it was a beautiful hotel with brilliant staff.

In the middle of a heatwave the pool was a big plus and good shaded areas throughout the hotel.

Our room was a long way from reception with some very narrow stairs to get down, harder if you have any mobility issues but I guess you should inform the hotel anyway.

The rooms were very small and dated.

Het ontbint was pover. 2 koffieautomaten defekt en de keuze was zeer beperkt. Voordien gelogeerd in een Ibis Styles voor 2 nachten en veel beter ontbijt dan in Savoy.

De kamer was zeer basic. Geen airco en badkamer gedateerd.

Bed could have been so much bigger for the size of the room (34). Decor is tired. Bathroom very tired and uninviting. Bath too small to use and had those non slip things stuck to the bottom for the shower over bath, which was not good at all. Towels far too small. TV signal intermittent when the weather was bad. Room at front looked over the fire station which was very noisy, as was the road. Staff were mainly ok, bar the surly woman at breakfast and then in the bar area. Didn't sleep well at all because of bed size and noise. Would not recommend or return.

It was very welcoming and bright.

Breakfast was perfectly adequate the food fresh and exactly what was needed. The restaurant and bar were nice and served good food. Staff were friendly and attentive and accommodating Pool was a bonus and the provision of extra towels for the pool was useful.

Although the rooms were perfectly clean and had all the required facilities they were slightly dated and lacked air conditioning.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely come back. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the reception team was especially helpful, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. The breakfast was very generous with plenty of choices, especially if you enjoy a traditional British breakfast. The connected restaurant “1840” was absolutely delicious — we had a great dining experience there. There is also a small but very well-maintained outdoor pool, which was perfect for relaxing. I cannot comment on the gym because we did not use it. The hotel is in a convenient location, about 1 km from the city centre, and there is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel. The buses only run once per hour, but getting into the city is still quite easy. Cleanliness was excellent everywhere in the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and perfectly fine, although the interior is not the most modern anymore. Overall, a lovely stay with excellent service, good food, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended

Good value for money. Excellent food and very obliging staff.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Savoy and since the first time we understand it has changed ownership. The only negative point I would like to raise is that there is only one disabled taking space and the disabled access and egress is through a part of the hotel which we found to be occupied by other customers on several occasions, meaning the steps had to be used which was inconvenient. That is the only negative point but it would not stop us rebooking for another holiday there.

Well situated in St. Helier easy to walk into town. Had a good size car park if you had hired a car to travel. Room was a decent size we had twin beds. Comfortable beds nice pillows. Bathroom had nice toiletries available. Good shower. Well stocked tea & coffee room facilities. Breakfast was very good plenty of choice and all cook freshly. Staff were attentive and very friendly. Had a lovely bar & restaurant ate twice in there in the evening. Good quality produce. Had a very good jazz band on the Friday evening which was a good way to end our trip.

The staff were so lovely, each member was friendly, very helpful and polite, I had a room change, which didn’t seem a bother to them. The food in the restaurant was delicious- all be it small in size - however it was fine for me. Hotel was spotlessly clean. The lovely staff are what made the visit. Good room facilities, ironing board, hair dryer etc

No blackout on curtains so soon as the sun came up at 5:30 I was awake. Honestly the curtains baffled me - not sure why they couldn’t close, or why a big gap. No charging points near the bed- not a big deal, jusy something I’d think is normal to have nowadays, closest plugs are at the desks.

Property was beautiful, rooms really comfortable. We had a suite with balcony and balcony was great .

The evening meal . Al a carte and no other choice. Which for us was not an option. Breakfast was great though plenty of choice .

That the Savoy offered parking & close proximity to St. Helier. Staff very attentive e & main Restaurant excellent for evening dinner.

The room doors could easily slam making it noisy if other residents were late in at night & noisy anyway!

Die Lage unseres Zimmer war schlecht, da es genau dort war, wo man aus der Hintertüre der Küche ins Freie kommt. Es wurden spät abends Flaschen und Müll entsorgt, was sehr laut ist. Man musste direkt an unserem Fenster vorbeilaufen. Das Türenzuschlagen der Zimmer von Gästen ist sehr unangenehm am frühen Morgen.
