Hotel Santa Marta

Beautiful boutique hotel with a cozy and intimate atmosphere. We had a sea-view room, and waking up to that view every morning was simply perfect. The staff were wonderful, especially during breakfast, and the dining area has an amazing sea view. The pool and beach are easily accessible and very relaxing. Highly recommended — we loved our stay!

Unser Zimmer war direkt über dem Hoteleingang und hatte keinen Balkon. Es war teilweise, auch nachts, sehr laut. Ruhe und Erholung waren so nur bedingt möglich.

Housekeeping not up to standard for a five star hotel. On arrival there were dirty towels in the room and bathroom. The wardrobe door was stuck and had to send for maintenance. Small issues but shouldn't have occurred in an expensive hotel. On occasion, had to wait 30 mins for shuttle from beach to reception. A hotel of this calibre should have a free shuttle bus to/from local town as in many other 5 star hotels not located in town centre. Limited choice in restaurant for vegetarians/non-seafood eaters

Le manque de places à la piscine le WE car il semblerait que l'hôtel propose un forfait resto transat à la piscine aux personnes qui ne logent pas à l'hôtel !!! Très déçue De plus j'avais réservé un massage à la piscine et je n'ai pas été prise à l'heure (20 mn de retard) car le masseur a dû prendre la fille du directeur (10 ans environ !) Enfin le service restauration était en dessous de tout cette année ( beaucoup de stagiaire je pense) et la qualité inférieure (moins haut de gamme qu'avant) et pour terminer le petit déjeuner est désormais ds la salle de restaurant fermée contrairement à avant où cela se passait sur la terrasse avec une vue magique. Décevant. Nous avons senti qu'il y avait une volonté d'économie

La situation de l'hôtel, la chambre, la vue sur la mer

Que dire malheureusement Beaucoup de changements depuis l'année dernière personnel du restaurant et du bar de la plage débutant,accès piscine non surveiller des personnes extérieure rentre sans contrôle et se baignent en toute tranquillité ce qui n'est pas normal pour les clients de l'hôtel de voir cela. Je ne considere plus cette hôtel comme un 5 étoiles Il faudrait que la directions corrige ces problèmes si ne veulent pas perdre leurs clients historique .

We celebrated our wedding at Hotel Santa Marta on 23 May 2026 and also stayed at the hotel. We chose a five-star venue specialising in weddings because we'd expected professional coordination and wanted to enjoy the preparations without having to supervise every detail ourselves. The setting is beautiful, but the organisation was exhausting and ended with an extremely serious food-allergy incident. The problems began with our first visit. We explained everything to Milena and left our contact details so we'd receive a proposal with the menus, prices and conditions. We never received the promised follow-up. We had to contact the hotel again and explain everything from the beginning to Sara, who then became our main coordinator. Throughout the preparations, Sara's responses were often late, incomplete or contradictory. Some information appeared to relate to other weddings or events rather than ours. After calls and meetings, we repeatedly had to request written confirmation or prepare the summaries ourselves and ask the hotel to approve them. We had to check almost everything. We were initially told that the room would cost €800, but the quotation showed €1,000. When we questioned it, Sara said it'd been a mistake and changed the price back to €800. The hotel also tried to apply a minimum of 80 menus that related to another event space, included a wine package we'd rejected and changed the conditions regarding music several times. Only a few days before the wedding, Sara told us that our three-hour party would have to be reduced to two hours because we supposedly hadn't booked enough hotel rooms, but this condition had never been discussed before. After we complained, the three hours were reinstated. On the wedding day, it was even possible to add a fourth hour. The constant feeling was that everything began with a “no” and that we had to argue to recover conditions that had already been discussed. There was also unnecessary stress regarding payment on the wedding day. My husband tried to pay the remaining balance in advance at reception, but he was told that he had to wait specifically for Sara. Later, just as he was supposed to leave for the ceremony, Sara appeared and insisted that the payment be dealt with immediately, adding pressure at one of the most inappropriate and sensitive moments of the day. We also didn't receive the level of supervision we'd expected from a five-star wedding venue. During the reception, nobody guided us through the schedule or told us when we needed to move to the next part of the event, so delays accumulated. The first course was completely cold, and the fire alarm sounded for quite some time during the groom's speech. However, the most serious incident happened during dinner. Only ONE guest at our wedding had a severe seafood allergy. The hotel knew her name and table number, and the seating plan clearly stated “SEAFOOD ALLERGY.” We'd repeatedly confirmed with Sara and the hotel that she'd receive a special menu. During the tasting, they also promised that she'd have a waiter personally assigned to her, responsible for supervising every dish served to her. That dedicated supervision never happened. Despite all those assurances, she was served a dish that looked exactly like the lobster and prawn cannelloni served to the other guests. After she'd already eaten several bites, another waiter arrived with the actual special dish and told her that the previous plate had contained shellfish. She panicked, left the table and made herself vomit because she was terrified of suffering a severe reaction. She couldn't eat or enjoy the rest of the wedding normally. The hotel's handling of the incident was contradictory. The waiter who brought the special dish said that the previous plate had contained shellfish, while Sara and others told us that it hadn't. The hotel later acknowledged in writing that there'd been a “human error.” Their subsequent response gave us the impression that, because our guest hadn't ultimately suffered a serious medical reaction, the incident wasn't considered especially significant. For us, it was extremely significant. The only guest with a known food allergy had been identified in advance, had a confirmed special menu and was supposedly going to have a dedicated waiter. Despite all of that, she was served the wrong dish, had to make herself vomit and spent our wedding terrified that she might suffer a severe reaction. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a wedding, particularly to couples expecting reliable coordination or hosting guests with food allergies. For months, we'd thought that the contradictions and coordination failures, beginning with our first contact with Milena and continuing during Sara's management of the wedding, were simply organisational problems. On our wedding day, we realised that the same disorganisation could also put someone's health at risk.

Отличное расположение, очень красивый пляж. Вкусные завтраки. Красивая территория, приятный персонал.

К сожалению закрыли ресторан на террасе, по этому для ужина остался всего один вариант - на пляже. Завтраки перенесли с красивой террасы внутрь. Много вопросов к уборке в номерах, за 7 дней убрали чисто и хорошо только пару раз.

We stayed four nights. Two nights the room was not cleaned properly.

This hotel clearly has no bandwith to be fully occupied. There was no table at the restaurant for 2 days, no slot at all free at the spa, and the bar was overbooked with just two waiters for all tables. Aitor was great for a massage down by the beach, very relaxing! Room service was super friendly, and the room was very clean. Pool staff are confused and not too nice. Overall extremely overpriced for what you get.

Stranden var hyggelig og poolen også. Værelser var helt ok

Maden var frygtelig. Vi fik serveret noget af det dårligste mad, vi længe har smagt, på hotellets restaurant. Vi måtte sende vores mad tilbage, fordi vi var overbeviste om, at kødet var dårligt. Vi spiste stort set ingenting. Personalet håndterede desværre situationen meget uprofessionelt og fortalte, at de selv havde smagt på kødet fra vores tallerken, og at der ifølge dem ikke var noget galt med det. De mente derefter, at vi skulle betale halv pris for maden. Heldigvis var den medarbejder, der hjalp os ved check-ud, utrolig sød og forstående. Hun fjernede hele regningen for måltidet og undskyldte mange gange for oplevelsen. Desværre var det ikke kun denne ene middag. Maden var både i hovedrestauranten og barrestauranten generelt meget dårlig og bestemt ikke pengene værd.

Les habitacions són petites, antigues i mal mantigudes. No es correspon amb el preu que es paga ni de lluny. En una habitació triple, per accedir al vestidor cal moure el llit. El mobiliari és vell, no antic. Hem hagut d'esperar més de 45 minuts per menjar una amanida i un bikini a la piscina. Les tumbones saturades de gent i les piscines petites pel nombre d'hostes. En general es podria considerar un tres estrelles superior. Les habitacions forest deluxe no passen de motel de carretera.

Zarezerwowaliśmy najlepszy pokój z tarasem widokowym na morze. Niestety piętro niżej znajduje się taras restauracji hotelowej, który jest wynajmowany na imprezy, które trwają do późnej nocy. Podczas pierwszej nocy spaliśmy od 2.30, po zakończeniu imprezy urodzinowej na tarasie restauracji do 5.30, kiedy personel zaczął sprzątanie i porządki po imprezie. Drugiej nocy spaliśmy podobnie krótko, bo hotel wynajął teren przy basenie i plaży, również na huczną imprezę firmową, z muzyką na żywo i krzykami, oklaskami, etc do 2 w nocy. W 3 dniu opuściliśmy hotel, mimo rezerwacji na tydzień. Śniadania są słabe, w pierwszym dniu czekaliśmy 15 min na stolik, obsługa w restauracji nie kwapi się z podaniem czegokolwiek.

Hotel jest pięknie usytuowany na zboczu pięknej zatoki. Pokój był przestronny, czysty i dobrze wyposażony. Śniadanie wręcz doskonałe, a personel bardzo pomocny i przyjazny. Hotel godny polecenia dla osób szukających jakości, komfortu i spokoju.

I was booked in here as part of a conference. I can only say it is a good job I hadn't booked this as a nice getaway with the family. Avoid the "Forest Deluxe" rooms, which is where I ended up. It is the first time I have ever stayed in a "beachside" hotel room without any windows!

Perfect location, 10 min to Lloret the mar, 15 min to the port of Blanes. Atmosphere: amazing views, breathtaking mornings (a semi private beach) Rooms are specious, sea view is a must. Good value for money, I had the best holiday here. Location was perfect to explore Tossa, LLORET, Blanes, girona .... had amazing boatdays with Driza Sail

Приехали в отель по рекомендации. Нам сказали, что Спа зона включена в стоимость. Но по факту оказалось, что для тех, кто бронирует через Букинг, Спа за дополнительные 20€ с человека. Если бы бронировали напрямую, то было бы включено…

Un séjour qui a coché toutes les cases pour nous plaire. Nous recommandons particulièrement les chambres de 25 m² avec vue mer : celles de 18 m² sont assez petites, surtout si vous voyagez avec un chien. Idéalement, privilégiez à partir du deuxième étage, le premier étant un peu plus bruyant/animé en raison du restaurant etc… La vue depuis les chambres est absolument magnifique, un vrai plaisir à chaque instant. Un immense merci à toute l’équipe, d’une grande gentillesse et toujours aux petits soins. Nous avons également été très touchés par leur attention, qui a largement contribué à rendre notre séjour encore plus reposant et agréable. Le petit-déjeuner en terrasse : un vrai régal chaque matin, avec des produits frais et de qualité. Le calme autour de la piscine, l’accès direct à la plage ! Le parking de l’hôtel gratuit ainsi que la salle de sport. Nous repartons conquis et reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

La cuisine médiocre, service très long et salle de restauration pas sympa. L année dernière c etait parfait : déjeuner sur terrasse, nourriture qualitative et service souriant. Changement de toutes les équipes malheureux!

Le cadre et l’emplacement

Le service de tout le personnel, du petit-déjeuner aux bagagistes, laisse à désirer. La suite est très petite. Il manque de personnel pour un week-end de Semana Santa. Le petit-déjeuner est très médiocre pour un hôtel 5 étoiles. De plus, on entendait toutes les conversations de la chambre voisine.

Leicht in den Alter gekommen. Ausstattung nicht sehr modern und design.

The location was incredible. Right on the beach in a little cove with incredible views. The hotel was quiet with plenty of space to chill out on the property. The facilities down by the beach were great. Clean showers and toilets with shower gel and even a hair drier.

The gym was disappointing. Very small and needed some maintenance. The pulley/cable machine was very stiff. A speaker in the hotel room would have been a nice touch.

Im Badezimmer ging keine Heizung...die war bereits zentral abgestellt.Es war extrem kalt aber eingeschaltet wurde sie nicht. Aussage...es ist spring time und da wird abgestellt. So etwas darf in solch einem Hotel nicht passieren. Es war extrem kalt!!!

El hotel esta en una cala muy bonita. Siendo marzo, habia poca gente, era perfecto para descansar y desconectar.

Sobre todo nos molesto, que no funcionaba la calefaccion y aunque hemos pedido ayuda para arreglarlo, al final seguia sin funcionar. Tambien han olvidado reponer las toallas en la habitacion. Hay muchos hoteles por la costa brava, donde pagas menos y el servicio es mejor.

Nos hospedamos 2 noches y la primera noche no tuvimos agua caliente en la ducha. Para un hotel 5 estrellas, es realmente lamentable que no tengan agua caliente en la ducha.

Las vistas desde la terraza-restaurante son espectaculares frente al mar, al medío día o en el desayuno se puede comer fuera y gozar del sol, incluso en invierno. El restaurante tiene un menú muy interesante en carta o en el menú degustación. El acceso a a la playa tiene un acceso directo a una cala con mucha paz en temporada baja. Naturaleza y paseos asegurados.

Que el Spa esté fuera del hotel, teniendo que acceder por el exterior, sobretodo en invierno que hace mucho frío. El Spa está muy bien pero deben controlar mejor los tiempos de los usuarios, pues se paga por hora y algunos huéspedes abusan del tiempo generando saturación.
