Marina Bayview Gran Canaria - Adults Only

It was absolutely spotless, the rooms were beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. There was everything you needed in the kitchen . The staff were so helpful and friendly, especially Jordan the life guard, such a great young man and a great asset to the complex.Pool and pool area always spotless, the food in the bar was always good and so were the cocktails!!

The steps could be a hindrance for people who have mobility issues , but most of Puerto Rico has steps!!

- Un check in más rápido, y no tener la obligación de realizarlo online. Al final nos dejó hacerlo manualmente, pero tuvimos que insistir. - Más control de las hamacas, pone que no se las puede reservar, pero antes de las 9:00 de la mañana están todas las hamacas ocupadas con toallas.

Beautifull views and setting lovely atmosphere. Great food. Lifts on site. Great accomodation. Nautical theme throughout was fab. Very helpful staff.

If you don't get a taxi to the entrance you have lots of steps to climb.

The room was lovely: spacious / clean / modern / beautiful view from the balcony. The buffet breakfast was great. The staff are really helpful and friendly.

It wasn’t a problem for me but there are tons of steps around the hotel and down to the seafront. I liked it but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you have reduced mobility.

Nos hemos alojado un fin de semana. Y nos a gustado todo, la habitación limpia, tuvimos un pequeño inconveniente con unas hormiguitas y nos dieron una solución rápida y los atendieron muy bien. El perro las es extremadamente amable y atento. La piscina es pequeña pero funciona perfectamente para venir a relajarse y disfrutar. Sin duda es un sitio al que merece la pena venir y además repetir.

I have to say on the last day and throughout our stay, there was one particular staff member at reception, and he was the probably one of the rudest people I have ever come across in my life, he had no manners and was so short with me and my family members, I quite literally paid a lot of money, and personally I don’t want to be treated like I’m doing something wrong… Not pleased at all and most likely won’t be back to this hotel… in saying that their sister hotel is much more accommodating

Lovely view of the harbour. Helpful staff, nice pool and hot tub. Rooms clean and spacious. Useful little shop in the reception area to buy bottled water and essential items.

Walking up steep steps to reach the hotel. However, Taxis are readily available. Hot cooked Breakfast was cold on day one and two. We raised it with the manager and it was hot and perfectly cooked for the rest of our stay.

The bar staff were rude.

El personal de recepción fue excelente desde el momento de nuestra llegada hasta la salida. Todos fueron muy amables, cercanos y atentos, haciendo que la estancia fuera aún más agradable. El ambiente es muy tranquilo y relajante. Todo estaba impecablemente limpio y la decoración me encantó. Además, la cocina está muy bien equipada, lo que resulta muy práctico. Las vistas, tanto desde la habitación como desde las diferentes zonas de descanso, son espectaculares. Con la marina de fondo, el entorno transmite una paz increíble. Ha sido un auténtico remanso de tranquilidad, disfrutando del mar y del movimiento de las embarcaciones. En la parte superior del complejo hay una zona de hamacas con jacuzzi que merece la pena disfrutar. La ubicación también es muy buena: a unos 10 minutos andando de la playa y a solo 5 minutos de un supermercado y varios restaurantes. Eso sí, para llegar hay que bajar unas escaleras exteriores (aproximadamente 180 escalones) por el lateral del complejo. Si no tienes problemas de movilidad, el recorrido se hace sin dificultad. Desayuno aceptable. Fue muy fácil encontrar aparcamiento junto al alojamiento. Sin duda, una experiencia para repetir.

Excellent views, clean rooms, nice staff. Pool was lovely and relaxing. Such a clean and bright aesthetic and felt so relaxing.

Everything was great, however the steps are not ideal for people with mobility issues but taxis are only 6/7€ from the hotel to the main mall so it is easily fixed.

Beautiful environment. Lovely pool. Lots of sun beds and a sister hotel with wonderful restaurant.

Lovely sea view. Quiet hotel and location. Friendly staff and hospitality. Well equipped apartment with complimentary wine, water and snacks which was an unexpected touch. Good selection of food at breakfast and the lunchtime menu was good. Nice restaurants and well equipped supermarkets nearby.

Steps, lots and lots of them.... The bar closed at 6pm. A little early we thought. It would be nice to have an aperitif before going out for dinner or a nightcap. Terrace furniture not very comfortable at all. This would make a huge difference if it was upgraded. It was also disappointing to see guests putting towels out very early morning to reserve their loungers despite signs saying this was prohibited. The bedroom would benefit from blackout curtains stead of blinds same as in the Iiving area as there was a lot of light coming in at night. I felt this hotel lacked a bit of atmosphere. Not much of a vibe unfortunately.

Too many steps - over 100 steps from the pool to our room . From the pool to the road into town over 100 steps not good for anyone with issues with climbing daily !

Vi boede i den mest fantastiske sektion (D), længst væk fra reception/restaurant. To personer i fire dage. To dage senere ankom to familiemedlemmer mere - og blev indkvarteret lige ved siden af på trods af, at vi havde to forskellige reservationer og kort forinden tilføjede en upgrade (som i øvrigt var nærmest urealistisk billig). Det var SÅ fin service, og der var totalt familiehygge over ‘hækken’!! Derudover kom vi alt for tidligt til check-in (vi tænkte ikke over det - kom andetsteds fra på øen), og alligevel var værelset klart til os, og vi havde en suveræn start på opholdet - inkl en flaske bobler, der stod og ventede på os. Skøn restaurant, fantastisk morgenmad. Andre steder i Puerto Rico var restauranttilbuddene mildest talt ringe og turistfældeagtige - så det kan faktisk godt anbefales at spise i hotellets restaurant - kvaliteten var virkelig over niveau for byen!

Internetforbindelsen var virkelig dårlig. Men hey - vi var på ferie… ingen stress. OBS for dårligt gående: Vi talte 225 trappetrin fra byen og op til vores værelse… dejlig motion, syntes vi, men nok ikke for alle…

Når vi sjekket inn på rommet ble vi møtt av hundrevis av småfluer på gulv og bord i første etasje. Noe lite utvalg til frokost. Innpåslitne duer i basseng/spiseområde.

- lokalizacja i piękny widok z hotelu: hotel jest położony wyżej, dlatego widok na okolicę jest doskonały, fakt, żeby dojść do centrum trzeba zejść po schodach, a później wejść nimi do hotelu, ale to naprawdę nie są trudne schody, a przynajmniej można trochę poćwiczyć nogi :), jeśli ktoś nie może chodzić - taksówki są tanie; - pyszne śniadania: duży wybór, świeżo wyciskane soki, jest też Cava dla miłośników procentów od rana ;) - cisza i spokój na basenie, ale fakt - jest trochę problem z leżakami, więc jeśli chce się mieć dobre miejsce, to lepiej przyjść wcześniej; - miła obsługa hotelowa; - bar jest czynny do godzin popołudniowych, więc można coś zjeść nie wychodząc z hotelu, korzystaliśmy rzadko, bo 5 minut od hotelu są już pierwsze restauracje; - mieliśmy bardzo duży pokój z osobną częścią sypialną, salonem i aneksem kuchennym; - dobre miejsce na relaks i wypoczynek, bo w hotelu jest cicho i spokojnie

Great location and a beautiful view of the marina. Nice staff and a good pool bar and restaurant. Breakfast was very good quality. I asked for a celebratory package on arrival and it was perfect plus an extra half bottle of good white wine in the fridge along with some cans of soft drinks and water. Bed was super comfortable and a great shower. The apartments are small but decorated to a hight quality.

I struggled at times with the wifi connectivity. There are 130 steps down to the marina which I liked but travellers with mobility issues will need a taxi in and out of the centre.

I think it’s terrible that an adults only hotel stops serving drinks and food at 6pm for 6 days a week especially when there’s only one restaurant close by. We had to get taxis to nearby places just to eat and get some evening entertainment.

The peaceful atmosphere, stunning views, spotless apartment and genuinely wonderful staff — especially Sadaf. Everything was perfect from start to finish: the location, the comfort, and the exceptional service. A beautiful, quiet hotel with incredible staff who truly care about their guests.

The pool staff were extremely rude. I raised a complaint, but the front desk told me the pool team is outsourced and therefore not under their control. Very disappointing experience, won’t be returning

Die ganze Hotelanlage ist originell und sehr schön gestaltet mit vielen Pflanzen und Sträuchern. Die Wohneinheiten sind geschmackvoll ausgestattet mit schönen Marmorböden, praktischem Mobiliar und vielfältigen Beleuchtungsmöglichkeiten. Durch die versetzte Bauweise ist die Privatsphäre absolut geschützt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist äusserst reich- und vielfältig und man kann sein Frühstück im Freien, mit schöner Aussicht auf die Bucht geniessen. Ein wunderbarer Start in den neuen Ferientag! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Marina Bay View extrem genossen und wir würden sofort wieder hierherkommen, zumal das Personal uns äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit begegnet ist. José von der Rezeption ist eine "Perle", die man sich an einem Hotelempfang nur wünschen kann.

Wir haben nichts zu bemängeln.

Insgesamt ist die Bucht – so wie fast überall auf Gran Canaria – absolut touristisch

Location was perfect - close enough to the busier bits, beaches , restaurant and marina but further enough away to feel like you’re in your own little private paradise

For the price point you would expect that a double room would have a double bed not two singles pushed together

Absolutely beautiful place. Loved the location. Super peaceful stay. Utilities were great and the staff were lovely. Special shoutout to Vanessa as she checked us in on our first day and was super accommodating and lovely.

Breakfast was great and the staff in the restaurant were friendly. Cleaning staff were friendly as well and very helpful. The rooms were comfy. It was difficult to know what you were selecting when choosing a room we were lucky to get one above the jacuzzi terrace. The downside was a slight but constant smell of drains like the plumbing was not great. This was not just at the hotel, so perhaps a problem with Puerto Rico drainage? Also, people reserving sun loungers with towels from first thing in the morning and smoking around the pool. There are signs saying not allowed but this needs to be enforced more vigorously.

This is our fourth time staying at the Marina Bayview. We absolutely love this hotel. The staff are friendly, it’s in a lovely location with gorgeous views. The hotel is always clean. The food is excellent and fairly priced for what you get. We’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Steps up to hotel, not very lit up at night. Pool Sun loungers reserved with guests towels very early each day.

Fabulous hotel. One of only a few ‘adults only’ hotels in Puerto Rico. Spotlessly clean. It’s not cheap but it’s worth it.

You need to realise that to walk down to the marina you have to negotiate a lot of steps!!! Which have to be walked up when you need to come home! Taxis are in short supply right now too so if you aren’t capable of climbing 100+ steps have a re think about staying here.

Loved the hotel, was not happy about not getting beds around the pool has people would go down early to put the towels on.Then went back later.The next think was the stairs going down wasvfine but goig up all them stairs is a nightmare. Its ashame you can get a taxi but its not the point.
