Dusit Thani Manila

This place is at best a 4 star. Hot water takes at least 5 mins to get warm. Amenities are pretty run down. Some staff are clueless Will not stay here again for sure

More fresh vegetables for salads like broccoli, cauliflower. Mediterranean mezze options would also be nice

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff are amazing and supportive. The breakfast buffet was perfect with different dishes..but as im a vegetarian person so the chef he cook for me different food during my stay . Thank to Chef and to Cora. Regarding the location the hotel is near many malls .

We got the Deluxe suite. It’s nice and spacious. The beds were too firm and felt like a springboard. But they put foam toppers when we complained about it. The staffs were nice. They also changed the fridge that was not working. I think they should make sure everything is working before they put any guests in the rooms. I hate the bath tub. It’s dangerous for elderlies and short people in general. I guess it hasn’t been changed since the hotel was first built. It would have been nice to just have a separate shower. The hotel is next to SM Makati and Glorietta- very convenient. But I think it’s too expensive compared to other 4-5 star hotels in Makati.

It is so convenient that you could use credit card instead of cash. Moreover, the department stores are just walking distance. Although i mostly used GRAB to go to other cities, there’s a train station only a few meters from the hotel. Great breakfast as well. Unfortunately, my room had a problem with the sliding door in our restroom. There’s also a leak coming from the AC. The water basin was clogged up. The electric plug in the restroom was not working. Overall, i still enjoyed my stay even though I encountered some problems.

Hotel staff were all friendly and helpful to our needs. Rooms just need an update. Breakfast options were awesome and they even had ‘taho’ which is a native Filipino breakfast favorite especially for the young ones and those young at heart.

This has become my new number one as far as five star hotels in manilla. Amazing customer service! Everyone in the hotel from the bell hop to the elevator attendant. Hospitality to a whole new level! The location is ideal as well, SM mall located 1 minute walk from the entrance which connects with several other malls attached to that. The smell in the hotel is incredible, no matter what floor or where your at the overwhelmingly pleasent smell is there. The food at the location was astounding. The pantry had an amazing breakfast spread as well, a fine selection of asian dishes. Overall i can't find anything negative to say. Incredible place, would highly recommend. Will absolutely stay again!

Very tired & tight club room - you can get a far better facility for a much cheaper 5* hotel elsewhere.

Clean. Food was delicious. I love how they prepare their Pinakbet con lechon. I had the best watermelon slush. The lechon paksiw was the best too. I love the hallway, it’s clean and smells good. Staffs are polite and helpful. I like the fact that it’s literally one minute walk across the mall. Come on! The room was super cold, next time I might need to have them turn the thermostat a little higher ( too cold ). But I slept good. I can’t wait to go back.

I stay at Dusit Thani whenever I’m in Manila, and it continues to exceed expectations every time. When asked about bathroom outlet is not working for hair drying and replied from maintenance service crew “use room outlet” also said that, bathroom outlet is not used for hair drying blower. It is used only for cellphones charging. That part was annoying, later was transfer to a different room where everything work as intended.

The cleaner lady in room 803 was really good and very polite. She go above and beyond service to us. SHE DESERVE COMMINDABLE INCREASE TO WHAT SHE IS DOING. She clean and asked what we needs and very approachable for the day we stay August 10-16 2025 her service was way above and beyond. Thank you next vacation I will definitely stay in Dusit.

Great hotel and polite staff.

The bed in my room was very comfortable but some of my bed pillows were a bit soft and flat. I didn't care for the huge bath towels. I wasn't told about the Thursday 3pm fire drill and had a very scary, embarrassing ordeal. And after what I went through, I sent a text message to the duty managers phone number of what happened to me in the fire escape, management didn't even bother to visit me at my room and offer any type of compensation or if I needed any medical attention, not even to reply. Yes, I received a call in my room by a front desk staffer, but she didn't identify if she was calling on behalf of the duty manager or if she was the duty manager. A visit using the personal touch would have been nice.

Great comfortable bed helpful staff

The breakfast variety were great choice and good foods. Unfortunately the furniture cleanliness can be better. The in-roon dinning phone are not manned and call several times without anyone picking.

I love the Thai restaurant, Benjaroong. I love taho for breakfast. I always have a great experience when staying at Dusit. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the bed is very comfortable. Nearby shopping places are a big plus. Highly recommended.

It was only a short stay but could have been my last, I was almost electrocuted to death. Plugged in the Iron and while waiting for the temperature to rise, I had gone to use the bathroom. When I returned, the plug point was sparking and smoke was present. I had quickly used a towel to remove the wire from the plug point. This was very dangerous, especially with steam from the iron quickly turning into water causing the floor surface close to the sparking plug point, wet. There should be procedures in place to check that all electrical appliances provided in the room are in satisfactory condition and safe for guest. Staying alone, if I was to have been electrocuted, no one would have know and I would have been there alone.

Pros: location, service, breakfast buffet, price Cons: our bed was uncomfortably hard (we’ve stayed at this hotel before and the bed was comfortable so maybe it was just this room), the exterior of the hotel could use a power wash and fresh paint
