Great location that’s quiet, away from the bustling streets, but close enough to walk to Central through a beautiful botanical garden. Great supermarket in the next building. Friendly and helpful staff.

Wir hatten in der ersten Nacht eine Kakerlake in unserem Zimmer das war leider sehr unangenehm wären wir länger als nur eine Nacht geblieben hätten qir das Hotel gewechselt

Die Aussicht auf die Stadt war sensationell. Preis Leistung war auch in Ordnung.

Das Personal beim einchecken war etwas langsam und nicht sehr zuvorkommend. Es war auch etwas abgelegen von guten MTR Stations, wir mussten immer vom Hotel mind. 15 Minuten nach Central gehen um zu einer zu gelangen.

Tolles Hotel, tolle Lage (Bus Linie 12A vor der Türe). Pool, Fitnessraum. Fusion Supermarkt im Keller um die Ecke im gleichen Haus. Cafe to go im 8. Stock direkt gegenüber. Haben ein Upgrade bekommen mit mega Sicht auf die Stadt

Die Rezeption weißt nicht proaktiv auf die vielen Pluspunkte (siehe oben) hin.

The hotel is rather dated and poorly‑located for tourists. The front‑desk service is also mediocre. Booking gave it a high rating and prominently recommended it at the time of booking, yet the actual stay fell far short of expectations.

The room is tiny, and there is an unpleasant odour when opening the cabinet. Sound insulation is very poor, and the front‑desk staff are unresponsive. Overall, the experience is thoroughly disappointing.

It was a good location close to some attractions. I think in Hong Kong there was a lot of walking in general so we enjoyed navigating the city and felt this location was ideal for that. Yes, the rooms are a little outdated but they’re sufficient and clean. I have the note that the staff were super helpful. We had a problem trying paying our taxi driver and they were able to assist us quickly, so I have to commend the staff for their help.

To be honest, we didn’t utilise any of the facilities available to us. It was just a place to rest. This was a good hotel for our purpose.

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut. Es befindet sich direkt neben dem Botanischen Garten und das Trendviertel Soho ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Zudem ist in unmittelbarer Nähe ein Supermarkt vorhanden. Tee- und Kaffeezubereitung im Zimmer möglich. Ein Kühlschrank war ebenso vorhanden.

Teilweise ist das Hotel etwas hellhörig und die Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen.

It is in Mid Level, so the connection either the attractions (with the exception of the Peak) it is not so straightforward.

The suite was huge esp by Hong Kong standards. Perfect for a family with a toddler. It was also easy to dine in. The restaurant downstairs was excellent - we ate 3 times

The chair for the desk is too low. I had to put 2 pillows and I am 170cm tall. The shower curtain is short at the faucet end and water is spilling out. There is a new staff at the front desk who answers a bit abruptly. Less friendly than the others.

Отель оставил очень двоякие впечатления. Сам по себе он вполне неплохой: нормальные номера, хорошее расположение, в целом всё устраивало. Но, к сожалению, отношение персонала полностью испортило впечатление от проживания. Уже при заселении взрослый мужчина на ресепшене не сказал нам буквально ни слова. Ни «здравствуйте», ни «добро пожаловать», вообще ничего. Просто молча оформил заселение и выдал ключи. Странно для отеля такого уровня, но мы не стали придавать этому большого значения. Позже обнаружили, что наши зарядные устройства не подходят к местным розеткам. Когда уходили по делам, подошли на ресепшен и спросили про адаптеры. Очень приятная и дружелюбная женщина сказала, что никаких проблем нет: когда вернемся, сможем взять столько адаптеров, сколько необходимо. Нам нужно было три. Она несколько раз заверила, что всё будет в порядке и мы спокойно сможем забрать их вечером. Когда мы вернулись, этой женщины уже не было. На ресепшене был мужчина средних лет, и именно общение с ним окончательно испортило впечатление об отеле. Мы спокойно объяснили ситуацию и рассказали о договоренности с его коллегой. В ответ он заявил, что даст только один адаптер. Когда мы объяснили, что нам обещали три и они действительно необходимы, мужчина начал разговаривать на повышенных тонах, спорить и вести себя откровенно невежливо. В какой-то момент он вообще начал доказывать нам, что покупает эти адаптеры за собственные деньги. Какое отношение это имеет к гостям отеля и почему мы вообще должны были это выслушивать, осталось непонятно. Особенно неприятно было то, что на улице уже был сильнейший ливень, магазины были закрыты, а утром нам нужно было уезжать. Нам действительно необходимо было зарядить несколько устройств перед дорогой. При этом ранее сотрудница отеля сама заверила нас, что никаких проблем с тремя адаптерами не будет.

Die Einrichtung war schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Hotel liegt auf einem Berg und der Fußweg in die Stadt führt an Hauptstraßen entlang.

This is a personal preference.

Location – this is a personal favorite due to the proximity to my families and the school I attended for 12 years in Hong Kong. The staff is very friendly and housekeeping. It’s always on the spot.

Furniture it’s a bit out of date and the carpeting can use some refreshing. Coffee and tea selection is very limited. Fortunately, there’s a grocery store downstairs to supplement my daily needs.

Staff were lovely. Hotel was clean and efficient.

In our first room the beds were uncomfortable, too hard. No extra duvets to lay on to soften things either. The hairdryer cord was too short. There was no area of the hotel to relax in other than your room. The lobby needs more sofas or a cafe that actually opens would be helpful. The pool closed at typhoon 1 warning when public pools only close at typhoon 8 warnings.

The room smelt damp. No life in the hotel super dull and sterile. Check in was super unfriendly and unwelcoming did not say a single word

The staff were always friendly and helpful. The room was incredibly clean and had a fantastic view. The hotel was walking distance from the botanical gardens and the peak tram. I’d definitely recommend!

特別感謝櫃檯人員，男士幫我們意外升等了房間，女士幫我們叫了計程車前往我與未婚夫的結婚地點。在婚禮當天，我本來非常緊張會叫不到車的，真的非常非常感謝櫃檯人員。飯店設施新穎、窗外視野絕佳、甚至還有浴缸，蓮蓬頭水壓足夠，水也加熱地很快，非常划算。電視可選擇Netflix登入，也是一大優點。附近有Fusion超市也很方便，可以採購一些零食飲料。從金鐘站搭乘12A公車，站牌“YMCA女青年會”就在飯店前面不遠，所以雖然飯店位於上坡，回來倒也不需要爬坡。

房間的水需要付費，不過價格比超商販售的水便宜，所以也就不太介意。

Garden View Hong Kong was a fantastic choice of a hotel for me. Although the location is up the hill and it looks a bit far on the map, it actually couldn't have been better. The location just in front of the botanical garden was a perfect way to start the day with a walk through. The room view was fantastic.

The elevator is extremely slow and the building is slightly dated, but these are very minor things.

I booked a room with breakfast but there wasn't breakfast at all. The front desk said they do not have a restaurant hence don't serve breakfast.

Booked a double, reception tried to force me into a twin with two singles as their doubles were fully booked. When I insisted, manager intervened and gave me a double room.

Great location and service. Will at the front desk was very helpful! They even remembered me from 2 yrs ago. Highly recommended!

Gym equipment needs refurbishing. Rowing machine in particular isn’t functioning correctly. The dining room was closed whilst we stayed.

It was good value for a hotel room, and it wasn’t right in the centre so it wasn’t too busy of an area. It’s also next to the zoo gardens which was nice and there’s also a gym in the hotel

It was quite a long walk into town considering it’s up a hill, the pool also didn’t look like the photos unfortunately

Proper old school Hong Kong hotel with arguably one of the better views you can remotely wish for in this price range No problem with the staff

Location was difficult if you have a small child and a stroller, but we knew this before booking

Bathroom was mouldy, bath and shower had mould all over the fixtures and on the tiles

Weil wir das Zimmer mit dem gewünschten Doppelbett nicht frei war, haben wir ein Upgrade auf ein höheres Stockwerk mit besserer Aussicht bekommen, die wirklich super war. Das Zimmer war sauber, das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend.

새로 레노베이션 한층의 룸을 배정받아서 룸 컨디션이 좋았고,욕조가 있어 베쓰밤이나,베쓰쏠트로 피로풀기에도 좋았음. 호텔위치가 택시가 자주지나가는 곳으로 택시잡는것이 용이하였으며,근처에 홍콩공원이 있어 가벼운 산책도 할수있었고,슈퍼도 가까이에 있어 과일,물,스낵등을 사기에도 좋았음.

We really liked the view from the room. The room was clean and comfortable, overall really nice. Great location, close to central (but its quite hilly). We recommend walking downwards and then taking Uber back. Even though we stayed there during Labour Day holidays, the price was good value. Hotel is close to the Peak tram station.

Staff at the reception seemed a bit cold. You have to pay 8 HKD for a water bottle in the room.

Wir haben ein Upgrate von einem Zimmer auf eine Suite erhalten. Das war natürlich wirklich ein echtes Highlight. Ein wahnsinnig toller Ausblick vom 19. Stock. Die Suite ist mit einer Küche ausgestattet. Das ist natürlich super wenn man länger bleibt.

Die fünf Sterne gibt es nur für das Update. Ansonsten ist die ganze Einrichtung schon ganz schön in die Jahre gekommen. Bei der Regendusche ist der Duschkopf verrostet. Zusätzlich war im Gang und zum Teil auch im Zimmer ein starker Essensgeruch wahrzunehmen.

Chambres spacieuses et confortables nettoyées tous les jours. Proximité du quartier central qu'on rejoint en traversant un parc très agréable. Par contre, attention au retour, ça grimpe! Un petit supermarché à 2mn pour compenser l'absence de restauration à l'hôtel. Les chambres en hauteur côté port doivent avoir une vue magnifique. Malheureusement, nous étions de l'autre côté donc vue sur d'autres gratte ciel..

Pas de petit déjeuner. Un restaurant chinois au pied de l'hôtel très cher.
