Honestly, not much I liked however I would say the staff were friendly (especially the concierge)

I travel allot and the bed would probably rank as the most uncomfortable I've ever experienced at a hotel. The hotel is old, the facilities very dated and the breakfast marginal at best. And.....if you want to iron anything, good luck! Out of the 6 hotels I stayed in this trip, without a doubt, the worst hotel but also the most expensive. 3 out of 10 for value for money!

Das Personal war freundlich, die Lage sehr gut. Mit Shuttle oder Bus vor der Haustür konnte man jederzeit das Zentrum gut erreichen. Alles war angemessen sauber und ordentlich.

Wir waren 8 Nächte dort. Das Zimmer war so winzig, dass es kaum Möglichkeiten gab, 2 Koffer abzustellen und die Koffer zu öffnen..Wir hatten mit Frühstück gebucht. Es gab kein Büfett, sondern eine Karte mit Wahloptionen. Alles sehr gleichbleibend und eintönig. Obst gab es gar nicht.

プールからの景色は素晴らしかったです。香港島の巨大財閥郡のビル群を見下ろす形で。あと、定期的にバスが出ていて、香港駅、アドミラリティ、展示会場まで運んでくれます。スタッフも丁寧で満足でした。廊下にウォーターサーバーがあって助かりました。

山の上で景色はいいですが、やはり移動は大変でした。セントラルのエレベーターが近くにありますが、夜中は止まります。23番のバスが便利です。

The location was great where I had to be. The bed was very comfortable - the shower great.

La colazione alla carta e non a buffet (con pochissima scelta). La stanza piccolissima, con la moquette. Eravamo in tre ed era impossibile muoversi (ma sarebbe stato impossibile anche in 2, considerate le valigie). Per tutto il nostro soggiorno é rimasta nascosta una maglietta (non nostra) tra il letto e la tenda (segno che non veniva mai pulita quella zona). Hotel estremamente datato (soprattutto il bagno della stanza).

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The pool was small but nice and clean.

This is an ultra old hotel, completely outdated in appearance, systems and practices. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired (the bathroom had cut fingernails on the sink when I arrived). The shower was impossible to regulate (it was either cold or scorching hot), and had the lowest water pressure I’ve seen. The pool has a 12pm closing time for maintenance, which is incomprehensible. The location is good once you’re settled in but if you’re considering arriving/leaving by public transportation, you will have to climb A LOT.

Lovely dinner. The service was friendly. The set menu meal was excellent. The restaurant hours were long which suited me.

The surrounding area was extremely sterile. I hoped for some more hustle and bustle.

Am besten ist die Lage. Man kommt überall schnell hin und es ist über die Mid-Level Escalator trotz Hanglage bequem zu erreichen.

Das Zimmer war ziemlich klein und die Wände sind sehr dünn.

The location was good, a bit on the hill, but we didn't mind it, since there are moving sidewalks from the bottom to the top of the hill. We chose deluxe suite, and my God, the view was spectacular! The suite itself was very clean, the bed comfy, and we had more than enough space in the room.

I know Hong Kong very well having lived there for most of my life and knew of Bishops Lei before staying there. As value for money it is really excellent. Also the location is amazing being so close to the Mid Level Escalator and truly excellent restaurants. I was recommenced the restaurant at the hotel and will try it for dinner next time.

Altes, ranziges Hotel. Bitte dringend renovieren! Zu dritt mussten wir uns ein 160cm Bett teilen! Das Personal war an dem Abend auch noch patzig. Das Zimmer war noch schmutzig. Zucker vom Vorgänger auf dem Schreibtisch verteilt. Feueralarm in der Nacht ist wohl keine Seltenheit. Dazu bekommt man dann noch nicht mal eine Information, wenn man im 17. Stock festsitzt, weil der Fahrstuhl direkt ausser Kraft gesetzt ist.

Very small room, no space to put luggage or walk. Just sleep. Bed mattress was very hard.

Perfectly located on HK Island.. very well connected to the Central Ferries, IFC, and other areas.. healthy walk down hill... (uphill..I would definitely recommend a taxi 😅😅) Very cheerful staff.. efficient service in the restaurant.. food is basic, but very fresh, and good to have.

We love the location with easy access to the mid level escalators and pleasant staff. We enjoyed the lovely view and pool area. The shuttle service to Hong Kong station on departure is a bonus. For sure we will be back.

Excellent value for money. We'll located in the mid levels, close to the escalators. Very clean and great facilities at this price point: pool and gym. Free shuttle bus to central city airport railway station. Spacious rooms for Hong Kong and great views from rooms facing the city. Highly recommended.

L'Hôtel est viellot. Climatisation bruyante. Pas de bouteille d'eau dans la chambre, l'eau fraîche se trouve dans le couloir, prendre une gourde. Eau non potable au robinet. Pas de fer a repasser. Taille chambre et salle de bain vraiment petite. Pas de tiroir pour ranger les vêtements. Présence d'une barre pour 4 cintres. Pas de place pour ranger la valise (utilisation de la chaîne, donc plus de chaise disponible). Hôtel situé sur les hauteurs de la ville et le dénivelé est très conséquent depuis les stations metro de central district jusqu'à l'hôtel. Pas de restaurants autour de l'hôtel.

Good location, very convenient that there is shuttle bus from and to Hong Kong station, which makes easy way to airport

No umbrellas near the swimming pool. Electricity switches off when you are not in room, so you cannot charge devices while out. Conditioner is directed just towards the bed, so makes it a bit uncomfortable with the wind blowing directly on you and no ability to regulate it

We lost a bag in a local park, the hotel helped us coordinate with a local park and got our bag back. The staff were always beyond helpful, I would definitely recommend this place.

Don't have any umbrella near by with swimming pool, expansive for this money, don't have possible to warm up food, coffee and tea in the room added very seldom, clean room not so good, water equipment in the bathroom is terribly - always going and loosing water, lightning near with bed is not convenient - it is always switch on when you lay down on the bed

Konumu itibariyle her yere çabuk gidilebiliyor. Otelin servis hizmetinin olmasıda gayet iyi. Katlarda su sebilinin olması çok güzel.

Beklentimize göre odalar oldukça küçük,oda içerisinde hareket imkanı oldukça sınırlı oluyor.

Das Zimmer hatte alles, was man brauchen kann. Sehr bequemes Bett und der Blick auf die Stadt war (Zimmer lag im 18 Stockwerk) einfach unglaublich. Es ist zwar schon ein etwas älteres Hotel aber es war alles sehr sauber und gepflegt und man hat alles, was man benötigt vor Ort.

Wer gerne zu Fuß unterwegs ist, sollte wissen, dass man sehr viele Stufen bzw. Steile Straßen laufen muss, wenn man in der Umgebung des Hotels ist. Falls man es mal nicht mehr schafft, die vielen Steigungen zu laufen, kann man jedoch relativ günstig per Taxi nach oben kommen.

Hotel is located just in front of bus station so it's easy to get anywhere. There is also free shuttle bus to some places. Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was very clean

Das Personal war sehr nett Der Pool ist super und schön warm Nur der Mann am Pool ist nicht sehr nett und macht den ganzen Tag nichts aber das ist nur einer der nicht so nett ist das antere Personal ist super Das hotel ist am Berg oben aber das macht nichts denn es geht eine Rolltreppe hinunter ganz in der Nähe vom hotel von 6 Uhr morgens bis 10 Uhr morgens geht die Rolltreppe hinunter und um 10 Uhr 30 morgens bis Mitternacht hinauf Es ist auch eine Bushaltestelle vor dem Hotel das ist auch sehr gut Wenn man unten ist ist eine U-Bahn ( die genau so ist wie in Wien) super Also das hotel ist gut erreichbar und es ist von Preis Leistung TOP Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen Wenn ich wieder in Hongkong bin werde ich wieder das hotel buchen es ist sehr gut und mann kann alles leicht erreichen Es gibt Geschäfte in der Nähe und kleine Restaurants und etwas gehen schadet auch nichts Im hotel ist auch ein Restaurant Das Frühstück ist kein Buffet aber es ist ausreichend und mit 9-10 Euro (kommt darauf an wo man das Geld wechselt) ganz ok Es gibt auch einen Wasserspender am Gang auch sehr gut und wenn man ins hotel kommt ist auch ein spender mit Limonade gratis zur Verfügung (wasser mit Geschmack) Die Klimaanlage ist auch sehr gut Die Dusche und WC ist auch sauber und ausreichend Alles zusammen ist es ein sehr gutes hotel Kann man weiterempfehlen

La Villa Orchidée est magnifiquement située, au calme, entourée de verdure, tout en étant très proche de la vieille ville. J'ai eu une chambre incroyable de 60m2 avec balcon, salon, mini kitchenette et 2 salles de bain - très spacieuse, propre et confortable. Mention spéciale au personnel, adorable, souriant et toujours prêt à aider. On s'y sent vraiment comme à la maison. Je reviendrai avec plaisir, merci pour tout !

Pool shut at 5.30 for half an hour every day. Not sure why ? Shower was a little dated.

공항버스 타고 홍콩역 근처에서 내린다음 미드레벨 에스컬레이터 4분 정도 타면 편하게 갈수있고 근처에 마트있어서 먹을거 사기도 편하고 야경도 꽤 좋아서 홍콩 가면 또 머물고 싶었음 비수기떄는 싸긴했는데 성수기엔 비싸서 가성비는 잘 모르겠네

The rooms are small (normal for HK). We got a deluxe suite whcih was very good. The restaurant is good. The staff was very helpful. Their shuttle is very convenient. Location is very good, close by the Soho area, restaurants, bars..

De ligging van de kamer, ik had een de luxe kamer geboekt, maar die liggen tegenover de ingang van de lift, en zijn erg gehorig, heb twee nachten geen oog dicht gedaan, mensen kwamen s'nachts luidruchtig de lift uit en smorgens om 6 uur begon de ellende opnieuw.Meteen aangegeven bij receptionist maar die gaf geen krimp, was niet genegen mij om te boeken, heb het twee nachten vol gehouden.Ben daarna van ellende vertrokken!!! NOOIT meer, het heeft mijn paar dagen In HongKong verpest!!!!!

We regularly stay at the Bishop Lei because our children live on the mid levels BUT we did a thorough exploration of alternative properties for this stay and could not find anything comparable in the heart of HK for value for money & comfort. We always come back to the Bishop Lei

Muy bueno el hotel, cómodo y a buen precio. Y muy bien situado a sólo un paso de las escaleras de Shelley Street que conectan con Central. Recomendable!!

Cet hôtel est situé dans la partie supérieure de la ville mais à 300 dés Escalators remontant du centre, rendant le retour le soir lorsque les jambes sont lourdes plus facile. Les chambre étaient de taille correcte pour HK. La piscine donnait sur les grattes-ciel, ce qui rendait la baignade assez spéciale. Un service de navettes reliant la gare centrale de la ville à l’hôtel à grandement facilité notre arrivée.

Pulizia,tranquillità della struttura. La navetta (gratuita) da e per la stazione do hong kong è un ottimo e comodo servizio. Ottimo rapporto prezzo qualità. Hotel vicino ad alcune attrazioni ma lontano dalle metropolitane anche se raggiungibili con 10-15 minuti di discesa tramite scale. Per la risalita ci sono invece le scale mobili (comode).

I liked the view of the mountain, the proximity to the cathedral, the overall spiritual atmosphere, and the historic ambience of the surruundings.

I was quite disappointed by the lack of friendliness of the check-in staff, especially the female staff member who was working the night shift on the night of 6/8 and who kept me waiting to collect my room key while she was chatting on the phone; she was also unresponsive when I checked out at 7am the next morning. Certainly not what I expected from a trained hospitality worker and someone working in a Christian-inspired hotel!

I thought the bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. Very good for someone who was recently on a long-haul flight. The room had lots of storage space and the staff were very helpful with directions and advice on things to do in Hong Kong. The complimentary shuttle bus was great for carting around my luggage between the hotel and the train stations.

TV was difficult to work, not really able to stream anything from my phone or laptop.

Habitacion pequeña. Desayuno buffet caro (no lo cogimos por precio y no ofrecía mucha variedad). Hay que tener en cuenta que si te desplazas al centro andando hay una buena cuesta por medio. Así que o escaleras o taxi

Please do not change a thing. The room, location, service, staff, etc were all immaculate. My husband had stayed here before, and since I was travelling alone, I also decided to stay here. I found the whole week so peaceful here, seamless efficiency from my late arrival, to getting a wonderful little room that was small but packed with everything that I needed, the staff were wonderful, I liked the environmentally friendly card that I did place on my pillow to conserve water - even as I was leaving, they ensured I was called for the shuttle bus to get to HK station. The price was good, there was an air of Goodness at Bishop Lei. It was truly wonderful.

Only one room key was given despite there being two of us staying in the room, which meant our movements had to be restricted/coordinated. Hot water in the shower was sometimes unreliable.
