Purtroppo c'è bisogno manutenzione, nella stanza c'era pezzi di intonaco che stavano per staccarsi..abbiamo trovato formiche in bagno, sul bracciolo del divano letto c'era una grossa macchia, la piscina anche aveva bisogno di manutenzione poiché c'erano punti in cui le mattonelle mancavano..insomma non la reputerei una struttura a 4 stelle..

After asking for an early alarm call the staff did not do, luckily we woke up. Most staff were helpful and friendly, however on one occasion a waiter was rude.

Das Hotel entspricht leider auf keinen Fall einem 4 Sterne Hotel. Das Frühstück ist sehr minimal gehalten und hat für 4 Sterne wenig Auswahl. Die Zimmer sind sehr alt, die Ausstattung ausgelutscht und die Badezimmer dunkel, schmutzig und Fugen mit Schimmel. Die Flure erinnern an eine Art U-Boot oder Jugendherberge. Der Empfangsbereich ist aber sehr einladend.

O alojamento apresenta bastantes falhas no que respeita à manutenção em geral. Estas falhas não são admissíveis em nenhuma unidade hoteleira, muito menos num 4 estrelas conforme é anunciado. Falhas que resultam claramente do único objetivo da Administração: obter lucros. A preocupação com o conforto e SEGURANÇA do cliente estão renegadas para "segundo" plano. Pior de tudo - falha totalmente inadmissível: as duas piscinas apresentam anomalias estruturais de enorme gravidade e colocam em causa a SEGURANÇA dos utilizadores. O revestimento cerâmico (pastilha) está totalmente degradado - com falhas em toda a sua extensão, e provoca lesões/cortes em qualquer zona do corpo.Mais grave ainda é perceber - através de comentários de outros hóspedes, que esta situação já foi reportada no verão passado e nada fizeram para colocar as piscinas nas condições mínimas de segurança exigida.Como resultado, os nossos filhos cortaram-se logo no primeiro dia (um corte no braço, outro no pé) tendo um deles que se deslocar ao serviço de urgência pediátrica do hospital de Portimão tal foi a profundidade do corte. Demos conhecimento da situação na receção mas não nos foi indicado nenhum protocolo a seguir. Apenas nos apresentaram a caixa de primeiros socorros mas não havia ninguém habilitado a prestar os cuidados necessários.Foi-nos dito que alguém da Administração iria falar connosco mas passaram 2 dias sem ninguém nos dizer nada... Esse contacto só existiu posteriormente porque perguntei se ninguém tinha interesse em falar do assunto o que é totalmente inqualificável. Um dos aparelhos de ar condicionado pingava água e ambos tinham os filtros cheios de pó acumulado o que revela, uma vez mais, total falta de manutenção.

The location is good , nice walk to the restaurants and bars, the location is quiet . The bar staff were so friendly and always very helpful .

I booked back in January and requested pool views as we had small children, before the holidays I sent a message to see if they could accommodate us, we were told no they couldn’t . The lady was nice on the phone. Told me we had a garden view . But when we arrived we were looking at a car park . The rooms need upgrading, the pull out sofa bed was awful I lifted up the matress and a piece of wood was under it to support it. It was very uncomfortable. The bathtub had black grouting/ mould , the floors weren’t the cleanest, I had to walk around in flip flops. We had a baby and the travel cot had a sheet which was dirty when we arrived . The pool area needs a lot of maintenance. The tiles in the pool were chipping away. The light in the kids pool was floating in the pool while kids were in it . The big disappointment was we saw rats at the pool. The decking was in bad condition, and we seen them go underneath it. Our kids had been playing in the grass all week were we seen them and we were horrified . We went to the director who didn’t handle the complaint well. He said we are around nature . In all my years traveling I have never seen rats at the pool area .

Très calme. Les appartements dans l'hôtel pour une famille sont supers. La piscine propre juste quelques catelles qu'il faudrait réparer car il en manquait.

Sie waren zwar da jeden Tag, haben aber fast nichts geputzt, oberflächlich und Bett gemacht. WC und Badewanne nicht geputzt jeden Tag.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The location was calm and relaxing, just a 2-3 minute drive from the center of Alvor, which made it easy to enjoy both the peace of the hotel and the convenience of nearby restaurants and shops.

Although this is marketed as a family hotel, it is not accessible for strollers or wheelchairs, there is no ramp to access the pool area and the main entrance, which is a significant oversight for a property catering to families. Room towels should be changed more frequently than the 4-day policy indicated. If this policy is to remain, the hotel should at least provide drying racks on the balconies to make it easier for guests to dry and reuse their towels in between changes. Beach towels should be changed daily. Additionally, sun loungers were often not available, forcing us to place our towels directly on the natural grass, which was frequently damp from the night watering. Breakfast was quite weak, with limited options, especially for guests with dietary restrictions. One breakfast staff member, when asked to clean a dirty baby chair we needed to use, forcefully wiped it down with water from the coffee machine, which was quite unprofessional. This staff member also complained repeatedly about low pay in front of guests, which is not something that should happen in a guest-facing role. Room cleaning consistently coincided with lunchtime. Since we had booked a suite with a kitchen, we went two days without any cleaning. To be fair, the housekeeping staff were extremely polite and explained they were overloaded with other rooms to clean, and they did everything they could within their means.

The staff was good, very helpful, very friendly, special breakfast team members.

The room was with really bad smell and besides we did mention 2x they clean but was not nice spend money to have this smell

Las habitación hubo días que no la realizaron hasta 18 horas, solo tienen dos personas para todas las habitaciones, la cama supletoria del sofá se hunde porque tiene un colchón como una colchoneta y los otros colchones tampoco son buenos, el desayuno la mitad de los días no hay zumo de naranja porque se acaba y no hacen mas. Esta desajustado la calidad con el precio

Quero destacar a disponibilidade e simpatia dos funcionários da receção, que estiveram sempre prontos a ajudar. Em particular, agradeço a atenção que tiveram quando foi necessário mudar de quarto devido ao barulho provocado pelo ar condicionado do quarto ao lado. Infelizmente, o ruído foi bastante intenso e persistente, ao ponto de três pessoas não terem conseguido descansar toda a noite.

Falta de manutenção nos A/c. 3 pessoas passaram uma note sem poder descansar derivado ao barulho que o ar condicionado fazia.

The location was excellent, with beautiful beaches such as Praia dos Três Irmãos and Alvor just a short distance away. It was also conveniently located near the main town centre, with plenty of restaurants and places to explore. Our room was cleaned every day, and having crockery and cutlery available was a really nice touch, especially for those who prefer to prepare their own lunch/breakfast. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, with a special mention to Beatriz at reception and Ruben at the bar, who both went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Honestly, we just wish we could have stayed for longer!

La chambre/le studio aurait besoin de quelques rénovations. Il y a eu une infiltration d’eau et le mur n’a même pas été repeint. Les ustensiles de cuisine laissent également beaucoup à désirer. Personnellement, je ne cuisinerais rien avec ce matériel. La salle de bain avait aussi des problèmes d’humidité et, lorsqu’on prenait une douche dans la baignoire, l’eau coulait de tous les côtés. Nous avons dû mettre des serviettes par terre pour éviter que l’eau ne se répande partout. Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour la troisième fois parce que les chambres sont spacieuses, mais, à part cela, je trouve que le prix que nous payons n’est vraiment pas justifié.

Como puntos positivos, queremos destacar que nos facilitaron un parque cuna para Bruno, algo que agradecimos mucho, y que por las noches había bastante tranquilidad y poco ruido, lo cual fue especialmente importante para nosotros viajando con un niño pequeño. También queremos hacer una mención especial al señor que recibía a los huéspedes en el buffet durante los desayunos. No recuerdo su nombre, pero era muy agradable, atento y siempre nos recibía con mucha amabilidad. En general, todo el personal fue muy amable, desde las recepcionistas hasta las limpiadoras, y nos hicieron sentir muy bien atendidos durante nuestra estancia. En definitiva, una estancia agradable gracias, sobre todo, al trato del personal y a la tranquilidad del alojamiento, aunque consideramos que hay varios aspectos de las instalaciones que deberían revisarse y mejorarse.

Nuestra estancia fue en general agradable, aunque hay algunos aspectos que creemos que deberían mejorar. Como puntos negativos, destacaría que el suelo de la piscina infantil tenía varios gresite rotos, algo que me preocupó especialmente porque viajábamos con un niño pequeño y tenía miedo de que pudiera cortarse. También echamos en falta colgadores para poder colgar la ropa o las toallas y mesas auxiliares en la habitación. No había ningún colgador y, como mesas auxiliares, únicamente estaban las mesitas de noche, lo que resultaba poco práctico. Por otro lado, el sofá cama estaba bastante hundido en el centro y no resultaba adecuado para dormir cómodamente. Creo que, si una cama no está en condiciones de ser utilizada para pasar la noche, no debería ofrecerse como cama ni venderse como tal.

Os colchões são péssimos. Pior ainda o colchão do sofá cama, as molas estavam em mau estado, com pouca força, o que fazia com que eu e o meu filho nos afundássemos no meio do sofá. Os quartos são muito mal isolados, ouvem todos os barulhos dos quartos vizinhos. As instalações estão a precisar de renovação.

En general es un buen hotel. La habitación es lo mejor y las instalaciones son correctas. Parece un edificio antiguo que se ha reformado y ha quedado bien. Lo recomendaría para familias. La piscina es correcta pero ya tiene sus años.

The location was excellent, close to great shops and restaurants. The room was perfect for a family of 4 (two young children and two adults). The kitchenette in the room was so well stocked. You also get dishwasher tablets, a cloth and a teatowel. The aircon is the best I've ever had in a hotel abroad. The bathroom has showergel and shampoo dispensers on the wall. The double bed is very comfortable and huge! The staff were so nice and friendly, the bartender Juan was brilliant at cocktail making! Manuel, the groundskeeper, was so chatty and lovely. Plenty of sunbeds so no stress in the morning looking for beds.

When we checked in we noticed there were stains on the bedding so we rang down to reception and it was sorted almost immediately. The cleaners came straight up and changed the bedding and apologised. The room wasn't the cleanest, the dining table was dirty and the side lockers were still a bit dusty but I just wiped the surfaces down myself. There were a few ants on the floor in the bathroom but nothing too drastic.

La chambre était très sale : le sol encrassé, du sable partout, les draps avec de grosses taches. Nous avons eu une panne de chauffe-eau nous empêchant d’avoir de l’eau chaude pendant 24h. En dédommagement, nous avons eu 4 cocktails de bienvenue. Même quand il fonctionne, le chauffe-eau est prévu pour deux douches maximum alors que la chambre est proposée pour quatre personnes, soit disant pour éviter le gaspillage d’eau. C’est même écrit dans les documents de bienvenue donnés lors du Check in. Le restaurant de l’hôtel (qui ressemble plus à un snack) est fermé le soir. Heureusement, un excellent restaurant indépendant de l’hôtel est situé à une minute à pied. Bref, pas digne d’un 4 étoiles.

O pequeno almoço era bom , e tinha bastante variedade. Os funcionários são simpáticos.

A limpeza: as roupas da cama não são mudadas quando necessário , o chão completamente encardido , esfregona/mopa nem vê-la. Móvel e televisão com pó. A cama extra: sem comentários , acho que até no chão dormia melhor ,o colchão sentia-se as molas todas , e tinha uma tira da madeira do estrado a sair , e quando alguém se deitava em cima , fazia cova. Inadmissível. Piscina: os azulejos das 2 piscinas precisam de reforma , está super perigoso para alguém se magoar essencialmente a piscina dos pequeninos.

Tudo excedeu as expectativas. O apartamento era divinal, confortável, amplo e com uma vista fantástica. O pequeno-almoço era ótimo! Os funcionários de uma disponibilidade fantástica, desde o bat à receção.

Le personnel est le grand point fort de cet hôtel. Que des gens souriants, parlant plusieurs langues et qui créent un lien familial avec les clients. La piscine est agréable : il y a toujours de la place sur les transats et il fait assez calme. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et en vaut vriament la peine !!

Les chambres ont vraiment besoin d’un coup de neuf. Pour nos 2 ados , dormir sur un canape-lit était vraiment limite et celui-ci faisait beaucoup de bruit. Idem pour la piscine, les contours devraient être revus.

This was a short return (2 days) to the Peican after many years. It was a very convenient stop gap as we couldn't access a house we were renting in Alvor for a couple of days. The room was excellent and spacious. While the room terrace was big, there was a large hot tub that hadn't been operational for some time! A white cover (now with brown stains) had been pinned to partly cover it up. I'm not sure why this eyesore had been shut down and no remedial work carried out?

O quarto era grande e confortável com uma vista agradável para a piscina. Tinha uma cozinha com todas as comidades para confeccionar refeições. A zona da piscina é agradável e boa para crianças também. O bar do hotel oferece uma boa diversidade de bebidas a preços acessíveis e com staff muito simpático. No sábado houve música ao vivo ao fim da tarde e proporcionou um bom momento de boa música. Parabéns à Sónia e ao Nuno. O pequeno almoço tem bastante variedade e boa qualidade no geral, apenas a apontar não terem qualquer sumo natural.

A única coisa a apontar é o facto de terem aberto o quarto para a sala o que causa uma grande falta de privacidade para um casal com crianças.

No es un hotel grande así que no hay demasiada gente. La terraza es bastante amplia y agradable. El desayuno no es muy extenso pero todo bastante bueno.

Está un poco antiguo. Los colchones son malísimos.

Apartment was lovely and roomy and had everything you needed including kitchen dishwasher and lounge area. I only stay 1 night but I was very comfortable. Slept at night / lounged by the pool in the morining. All the staff were fantastic I found them friendly and very helpful. Ruben thank you for helping me get breakfast when I was late and for chasing the seagull away. Beatriz thank you for being patient when I needed to check out but leave my lugguage stored and get dressed useing the hotel facilities. Thanks to the other receptionist too (scottish/portugues) for your assistance and for being welcoming. Thank you to the barman Nuno for the cocktail you make a nice pornstar Martini. Missing Portugal already thanks for your hospitality.

That the check in was not until 4pm. It would be nice if Check out was a little later to but all good

Simpatia dos funcionários, limpeza e apartamento totalmente equipado com o necessário para uma família com 3 crianças, pequeno almoço bom com bastante variedade. A vista do apartamento no terceiro piso era excelente, por do sol maravilhoso.

A piscina necessita de alguma manutenção, sem muitas peças de cerâmica no seu revestimento, podendo ocorrer cortes na pele, principalmente nas crianças.

O pequeno almoço com muita fruta fresca e a tranquilidade do hotel.

O facto da hora da limpeza, a partir do 2.° dia, passar a coincidir com a nossa hora após almoço. Não haver luz na zona da cozinha nem no exaustor, assim como este último ser pouco potente, o faz com o facto de não haver portas entre cozinha e quarto seja um inconveniente.

Appartamenti ampi e con grande potenziale, ma che necessitano di ristrutturazione. In particolare il bagno e la televisione erano un po' datati. Per il resto è stato tutto all'altezza di un 4 stelle, compresa la colazione.

Very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice between cold and cooked food. Room was larger than expected with all the amenities required. Pool area clean and well maintained.

Location a little further out of town than expected. Taxi / uber required if you didnt want to walk the 20 mins to centre or 30 mins to beach.

the accommodation is very nice, clean, and spacious. there are many open seating areas where you can relax and not feel crowded by other guests. the staff were excellent and very welcoming. I'd like to give a special mention to Joao at the bar and Angela at reception - both were so helpful and really added to our holiday. Well done. I'd also like to praise the food served from the bar each day - it was excellent!...especially the Club Sandwich!

The balcony was a disgrace, it was covered in bird poo and there was an old outdoor jacuzzi which had a cover that was all mouldy and dirty. This is something that needs looking at. I told reception on the Friday and was told there was no manger until Monday but no one ever addressed the issue.

Everything ...rooms huge & spotless... fabulous setting..pool area superb...only 10 mins stroll from main town area
