Staff were nice and understanding. Breakfast was very good and importantly, start from 6 am. The room and facilities are clean and neat. Location is also great.

The bed was a bit too soft

Fantastic hotel. Location just steps from Pub Street. Very spacious room, cleaned daily, overlooking the stunning, well-equipped pool. Excellent value. Excellent staff.

This hotel is in a good location and has reasonably good facilities - pool, spa restaurant etc.

However, it's a little tired this place. It was probably grand back in the day but that day was several decades ago. They've c obscurity tried to keep it updated but it doesn't feel like they're keeping up. But if you're only here for a short stay, it's okay for a couple nights.

ホテルの問題ではありませんが、日本円が安くなっているので、「マッサージがたった50ドルでできますよ」「ダンス鑑賞とディナーが９０ドルです！」とホテルのフロントに言われましたが、全然安く感じませんでした。もちろん両方お断りし、ネットでダンス鑑賞を予約しました。恐らくホテルが紹介するものと同じか、同等の劇場レストランだと思いますが値段は半額ほどなので、ネットからの予約を推奨します！

This is a very fine hotel. Located in the central district just off the main Boulevard of Siem Reap, it presents very well with its lavish interior featuring ornate artworks and furnishings in the foyer area. It feels very spacious and grand. The rooms themselves are of reasonable size with a balcony and qute comfortable. All of the usual amenities are provided. The room and all common areas were spotlessly clean. The staff were extremely friendly and were very willing to assist. The hotel has a large pool, gym, sauna and steam room.

There was not much to dislike about this hotel. Perhaps the breakfast buffet could have offered more variety.

The glass shower doors in the bathroom seems to have been added recently - the water was spilling over to the rest of the bathroom.

Great hotel with large rooms, close to main tourist spots and markets. We were able to walk to most places or a tuk tuk is always available. Pub Street, shopping and historical sites all within easy distance of the hotel. Excellent staff who go out of their way to make sure you have a great holiday. Good buffet breakfast and huge swimming pool are a bonus. Our third stay at the Somadevi, no need to look elsewhere.

My daughter and I travelled to Siem Reap in July and stayed again at the Somadevi. It’s our third time staying here - I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The rooms are spacious and clean, the pool/bar area is beautiful, and the breakfast buffet which is included in the room rate gives a variety of choices. But it’s really the staff that make the difference. The staff are so professional and lovely. Everything was easy - from the check in process, to ordering food with dietary restrictions and anything else we needed. They even put a tarp over my scooter on a rainy afternoon without us asking. Every single staff member on the reception desk, the doormen, in the restaurant/bar or on security were wonderful. They all looked after us so well. We were very sad to leave. Will definitely be staying again when we travel to Siem Reap.

A gorgeous hotel with great staff, services, room, spa, pool and food. There are plenty of great hotels in Siem Reap but this is one that was booked on my Holiday Max tour. Just an excellent place to stay and the facilities are so great. The pool is sensational, as are the Spa treatments. Highly recommend.

Convenient location near many restaurants, shops, markets and massage parlours. Spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Two complimentary small bottles of water in the room on a daily basis. However the hotel is dated. Amenities are not replenished and toilet paper is of poor quality. Also there are mosquitoes so pls remember to ask reception to spay before you sleep. The services at the hotel are overpriced eg “special massage price” $29 while the normal price of one hour Khmer massage is $10 right outside the hotel. A beer costs $7 (outside is $1-2). Other than that, the staff is friendly and helpful.

Очень тонкие стены, твой покой зависит от вежливости соседа, в первую ночь громко работал телевизор и невозможно было спать, душ фиксированный в потолке, это неудобно, чистота условная, полотенца, простыни сероватые, завтрак сносный, но много несъедобных вещей, к сожалению гид, нанятый через отель будет возить вас через места его знакомых, и те будут вытягивать из тебя деньги, лучше нанимать гидов не в отеле

Everything. Very high quality hotel, oozing of character. Top notch service. Wonderful breakfast with so much choice. Location is perfect for night market and pub street, also plenty of places to eat including ‘indochina restaurant ’ opposite. Can’t recommend it enough … luxury at reasonable price, got mine through booking.com. Did I mention the relaxing pool and the lunchtime palm cafe for something less informal …. I was there for 9 nights, chambermaid ‘Sea’ worked out my daily pattern and fitted brilliant room Cleaning everyday to suit!! This is a first choice if you go Siem Reap

日本語が話せるスタッフの方が待っていてくださり、丁寧にサポートしてくれました。ウェルカムティーもいただき、早朝出発のため朝ごはん用のお弁当も用意してくれ、モーニングコールもありました。また、チェックアウト後にはシャワーも浴びさせてもらえて、このホテルにして良かったなと思いました。

何故かベッドがくっつけてあって不思議でした(笑)あと、ランドリールームがなく、クリーニングは有料で依頼するしかなかったのが不便でした。 チェックアウト後のシャワーも、あまり清潔ではない古いシャワーで、更衣室がなく、異性の別のお客さんと出くわしてとても気まずかったです。浴びさせて貰えるだけありがたいのですが…。

Номера очень уставшие. Требуется реновация. В номере туалет сломан, сейф не работает, мебель старая и поломанная, банные принадлежности старые и застиранные, большая часть розеток не работает. Скудные завтраки с отвратительным кофе.

Breakfast selection is quite good, though the range of hot dishes for 'westerners' could definitely be extended. Staff are exceptional. From Reception to Car park security, they are polite, cheerful and always happy to go above and beyond to help with requests.

It is a very good hotel and enjoyed staying there , hotel staff is extremely courteous and knows how to respond to various queries of the person who are visiting first time. Shares lot of information about the places to visit .

We had an amazing time celebrating our anniversary which Chan Na and Yanus and all staff made it extra special. The breakfast, the room , the pool was excellent. Would highly recommended this hotel!

Unfortunately, our stay at Hotel Somadevi in Siem Reap was very disappointing. The hotel itself feels quite dated and the breakfast was poor compared with many other hotels in the area. What really affected our stay was the behaviour of some of the reception staff, who were very rude and made us feel completely unwelcome. I had to raise a formal complaint about two staff members due to their behaviour towards me and my partner, which sadly ruined our stay — my partner was left in tears by their attitude. I raised the issue directly with the Customer Service Manager, Kimsinh. On arrival he came into our room and took a photo of me and him together without asking permission, which I found very strange and uncomfortable. I later complained to him about the overall behaviour of the staff. Although a guest liaison representative later apologised, we never received any acknowledgement or apology from the individuals involved. After leaving feedback through the booking platform, the hotel responded with a claim that I refused to pay an additional charge. This was never requested during my stay, which made the response even more disappointing. I was particularly surprised that the manager I had raised the issue with allowed such an inaccurate response to be posted. I travel to Siem Reap frequently and have since returned twice, staying at other hotels that were far superior and clearly value their guests. Unfortunately this experience was the opposite, and I hope the hotel takes steps to seriously improve staff training and guest relations.

Leaving. I stayed here 11 nights loved it. I missed croissants at breakfast, but that's just a detail.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, staff were really bubbly and lovely, also very accommodating too. We had 3 nights here as we are moving around a lot but definitely wish we had longer. Cleanliness in the hotel was unmatched so any hotel I’ve been to yet. Only issue is the mosquitoes but that’s not a hotel issue, just unfortunate really, I recommend taking a really good bug spray as we are covered in bites. Food was lovely and cocktails were even nicer. We were handed a present (scarf) and the end of our stay to which the manager came up to our room to ensure we had a great stay and to pass us our scarves. All in all I would leave a 10/10 review.

Very mixed reviews regarding this hotel. Positives: Hotel immaculately clean, staff fantastic, friendly, polite and courteous. Location for the evening's out is brilliant...10 minute stroll to pub street with some amazing restaurants. Negatives: Breakfast was terrible (probably the worse we have ever had on our trips around the world). Avoid the coffee, which was like black stew! For a hotel of this standard you would expect far better quality and a good choice of breakfast. Our bedroom was dated and looked tired. Furniture was chipped and storage was minimal. Pool area was stunning and sunbeds were never crowded, however if (like ourselves) after a full day trip you like to sit in the sun for a couple of hours and relax, this is not possible, as most of the pool area is on shade by 3.30pm. Drinks around the pool we found over priced. In our opinion, we would choose an alternative to this hotel.

When I first stepped into the hotel, I was HONESTLY not that impressed because of the traditional Khmer furniture BUT when I began to read about the historical significance of each statute, I immediately was in awe by the beauty of the Khmer culture! The staff at the registration desk,both day and night time staff were extremely helpful and I want to say a special thank you to the manager whom when I voiced my thoughts on the dark lighting in the bathroom and the faucet not working properly had both fixed promptly on my return a few hours later!( Room 125) The pool staff were attentive and the one young man there by the pool bar made sure the pool sun umbrella was properly placed anytime the sun was too strong on me! Thank you kindly! Can I say how delicious the breakfast buffet catering to both ASIAN and WESTERN taste! The location of the hotel was close to all amenities and only a 5 minute walk to the famous Pub Street at night time where you can get food /snacks at a great price! I think the individualized attention given is the real gem here!

Beds were a bit hard but they added a topper which helped. Spa massage although discounted wasnt as good as massages received down the street. We increased fridge temp which froze a bottle of water. On check out had to buy the water as they felt the water would be tainted by freezing!!

I stayed here for 2 weeks in December /January.. this was my second time here and it did not disappoint. Firstly location.. 5 min walk into town.. This hotel was clean and very reasonably priced.. I always believe that the staff make a place and this is definitely the case.. Sean was amazing.. he always was so helpful when we were setting up our spot by the amazing pool. His service was just impeccable 👌 thankyou Sinoun, Sreymom, Kimsinh, Sitha and all the front staff made my day.. always so friendly and helpful.. they were all so happy and this makes a holiday.. I cannot thank them more as I spent half the trip on my own and they just made it so special. Thankyou beautiful people x Breakfast had variety something for everyone.. love the soup and egg stations I did experience a massage and apologies as I cannot remember the name of the lady but it was amazing.. this hotel has great specials for there massages. I highly recommend this hotel .. price location and staff you just can't beat.. Thankyou for making my stay so great and I really mean that.. can't wait to come back ..

The room and other facilities were comfortable, the catering was great and the staff were extremely helpful, respectful and friendly. It was centrally located and staff were helpful with recommendations about places of interest. The pool and swim up bar were a real bonus in the hot weather and the New Year Eve banquet and entertainment were really fun. All this at a very reasonable price.

I’m at a loss to identify anything I would say I didn’t like.

The hotel is very comfortable and the staff could not do enough for us..We.travelled in a Rotary Australia World Community Service.project as volunteers and were amazing to us.
