We stayed for 5 days and it was almost great. The room is clean, location is perfect and fine breakfast. Sadly, we had a bad experience with one of the receptionist during our checkout and his named is CARLOS a big and arrogant guy . Prior to our check in one of the employee told us my privilege being a IHG members. She told us we can have a late checkout at the hotel, it will be perfect because are flights going back home is late at night . I accept it and informed the staff that we will stay until 1:00 pm. But apparently, at 11:00 a staff of them knock our door to ask if we are leaving already, we told her we have a late checkout. And then somebody knock again after an hour asking what time we will leaving the room. After 30minnutes, an arrogant man from the reception called in our room asking us to leave he looked like he is the owner of this hotel when he speaks. We leave immediately to the hotel to avoid some discussion. This accident happened on 19 of September 2026. I hope you will not encounter this Man.

Хорошее местоположение, в пешей доступности пляж и большая пешеходная улица с большим количеством кафешек. Уборка каждый день, завтрак довольно разнообразный, включен в стоимость.

Очень маленькая раковина в ванной комнате, нет никаких приспособлений для сушки полотенец и купальников после моря, хотя оно совершенно рядом.

Filtro dell aria condizionata non veniva cambiato da quando ha aperto la struttura secondo me. Con 2 bambini allergici alla polvere non è una cosa che ho gradito molto

Ottimo hotel in una bella zona tranquilla. Vicinissimo alla metro, al mare e alla zona Poblenou con la sua rambla ricca di ristoranti, bar, gelaterie, minimarket e shop. Platja del Bogatell si raggiunge facilmente a piedi ed è molto meno caotica della Barceloneta. Camera e in generale tutto l'hotel molto pulito e camera per 4 (matrimoniale + divano letto) con spazi accettabili. Colazione molto buona e varia con un bel buffet con ampia scelta sia salata che dolce. Presenza di ditributori di acqua gratuita con cui era possibile riempire le borracce. Per noi che eravamo in auto nota positiva anche per il parcheggio con un piano riservato all'hotel e con accesso diretto alla hall con un costo giornaliero pagato direttamente al momento del checkin. Personale gentile e disponibile.

Colazione, anche se viene messo un cartello con le ore più caotiche e quelle meno, la fila ogni mattina era sempre molta, anche se scorreva abbastanza bene. Checkin probabilmente c'è stato un fraintendimento perchè arrivati presto la mattina naturalmente la camera non era pronta ma gentilmente ci hanno fatto fare il checkin, dato tutte le informazioni necessarie e fatto lasciare le valigie in una stanza dedicata, avevo capito che poi non sarebbe stato necessario rifare nuovamente la fila, cosa che invece non è andata così e abbiamo dovuto attendere nuovamente tutti i checkin che stavano attendendo prima di poter avere la nostra chiave visto che tutte le altre formalità erano già state fatte e visto la velocità con cui è stato fatto penso poteva essere evitato di fare nuovamente la coda!

La zona es un poco alejada pero no está tan mal.

Habitación amplia, limpia. Hay agua y hielo disponible todo el tiempo. El personal rápido y muy amable. Ubicación cercana a parada de metro.

Nos hizo falta huevo en el desayuno, pero la comida que había, estaba muy sabrosa.

Room service forgot to check body shampoo and the sink was wet because the slope was wrong. The entrance is open to the public and there are no card readers in the elevators; anyone can go up.

Ottimo albergo in zona tranquilla e ben servita, si raggiungono facilmente tutti i luoghi principali di Barcellona con i mezzi pubblici. Vicino anche alla spiaggia e alla Rambla del Poblenou che offre locali di ristorazione molto validi.

Location is ideal being near the down town & the beach. Staff are very good & enough supportive. Room is comfort & clean. The room has aircondition, safe box, mini bar, & hot drinks kit. Breakfast is very good as usual in Holiday Inn Express Hotels' chain. Wifi is very good as well. Surrounding area is safe with commercial & dinning opportunities.

Family room size was a bit smaller.

Great selection of tasty breakfast foods and for continental, they still had 2 or 3 various hot options daily, eggs, or mushrooms, etc. Rooms were clean and daily housekeeping if you wanted it. Were happy to give you toilet roll/new towels if you didn't want the full housekeeping. Beds were comfy and whilst the room we had did not have a lot of spare floor space as we used the fold out bed for the kids, we were not in it enough for that to be a problem. Great shower pressure. Aircon worked well in July heat. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area with great tips too. Mini fridge in the room was excellent too. Shops nearby you could stock up on a few essentials.

Being such a vibrant city that stays up late/eats late, we were often home late. and the beds are comfy so we did often sleep a bit late! Breakfast was a VERY hard stop at 1030 and you were ushered out soon after for them to clean. Totally on us for not getting there early enough and having to queue (all buffet is on one side of the room, a bit like a canteen). But would have been nice, even if we were just asked to move to another area to finish up and have the option to be in the space and eat until 11am.

We had a pleasant stay overall. The staff were very friendly and genuinely tried their best to help, especially during breakfast, where they worked hard to make sure everyone could find a place to sit. The location is excellent. There is a lovely pedestrian street with plenty of restaurants just a short walk away, leading directly to the beach. There is also a supermarket nearby and the metro is within easy walking distance. We really appreciated the possibility of refilling our own water bottles and the ice machine — very convenient!

There were a couple of downsides. Unfortunately, our room had a connecting door to the neighboring room, and the soundproofing was very poor. I had specifically requested a quiet room, so this was disappointing. We noticed the issue quite late and therefore didn’t ask to change rooms, so perhaps this could have been avoided. Breakfast was another issue. The queues were very long and the breakfast area clearly seemed too small for the number of guests. The staff were doing their best, but it looked like the hotel simply wasn’t designed to handle such a large breakfast crowd comfortably. Overall, a good hotel with a great location and lovely staff, but the noise insulation and breakfast capacity could definitely be improved.

El desayuno es horrible, parece casino de trabajo, se hacen filas por la mala distribución, el diseño del lugar, hay recepcionista principalmente uno joven que estaba atendiendo en esta fila para ingresar al desayuno que estaba distraído y tuve que yo indicarle que ya estaba listo y que estuviera atento. Estábamos comiendo y comenzaron a limpiar y sacar todo, creo que es una falta de respeto. Además la habitación no estaba totalmente limpia, nos comieron los zancudos, la cama suplementaria es muy incómoda y no da espacio para una mesa con sillas que tienen, otra vez el espacio está mal diseñado. No me gustó el hotel.

Konumu her yere uzak park için 25 Euro ve günlük kişi başı 10 Euro ya yakın şehir vergisi çok fazla ve neden ödüyoruz böyle saçma bir şeyi .zaten otele para veriyoruz.

Tökéletes volt minden, tiszta szobák, kíváló reggelik, glutén mentes is!, étel-víz-jég automata, lehet a palackokat tölteni útra. Személyzet kedves, segítökész. Indulás elött a csomagjainkat is megörizték. Közel mindenhez, metró, busz, üzletek, tenger, bárokhoz.

Egyetlen negatív, több tagú család esetén, gond volt a fürdöruhákat, törölközöket szárítani, nehezen száradtak, nincs teregetö. Esetleg egy helység szárítóval... (Lehet, hogy van az is, csak épp mi nem fedeztük fel☺️)

1. Номер странно спроектирован. Огромная стеклянная перегородка между ванной и комнатой - это «высший класс». Очень приятно проснуться ночью от света в туалете, если проживающий с тобой человек пошел с туалет и включил свет. Фен расположен в комнате (не в туалете). Странное решение. Ведь сушить волосы удобнее в ванной. Я был удивлен, что фен не укрепили на фасаде здания снаружи. Так ведь энергии истратиться меньше и волосы быстрее высушишь - ветер поможет. Унитаз не смыть - не закрыв крышку. Мудрое решение. Очень слабая шумоизолиция - слышны голоса в соседних номерах. Таких ляпов много. 2. Завтраки очень плохие. Я очень люблю отели Бренда Holiday Inn - но здесь этот уровень вообще не напоминает о бренде.

The location was excellent, with easy and convenient access to the beach, making it ideal for enjoying the seaside and relaxing during the stay.

The breakfast experience was disappointing. There were long queues every morning, which was completely unexpected and made breakfast unnecessarily stressful. The quality and variety of the breakfast options did not meet our expectations, especially considering the price we paid for the hotel. The selection was very basic and did not offer good value for money. We were also disappointed that no complimentary bottles of water were provided in the room, and there were no room slippers. These may seem like small details, but they are basic amenities I would expect from a hotel of this standard and price.

Attention pour le petit déjeuner le matin il y a beaucoup de monde : donc soit arrivé trés tôt ou trés tard (mais il manque parfois des choses comme l'omelette, ..)

We stayed in a family room with a large double bed and a fold-out sofa bed for our two daughters, aged 10 and 12, and found it really comfortable and ideal for our stay. The room was very clean, well equipped and had excellent air conditioning, which was particularly welcome in the Barcelona heat. There was a hairdryer, kettle with tea and coffee, flat-screen TV, plenty of power sockets and nice Dove toiletries, including hand wash, shampoo and shower gel. The hotel has some really useful touches too. There’s a water fountain in reception for refilling bottles, as well as an ice dispenser, and plenty of comfortable seating. The underground parking was excellent and very convenient, with direct lift access into the hotel. The location is fantastic for exploring Barcelona. We could easily walk to the beach and there are plenty of good restaurants and cafés nearby. There’s also an Anytime Fitness gym directly underneath the hotel where you can buy a day pass, and a lovely bakery literally next door to the entrance selling excellent pastries and cakes. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and everyone we dealt with spoke English. We also noticed that staff have the languages they speak displayed on their badges, and many were multilingual. Overall, a very clean, comfortable and convenient hotel in a great location. We had a really enjoyable stay as a family and would happily stay here again.

The underground car park, although extremely convenient, is very tight. The entrance involves a very steep descent around a corner, and the exit is equally steep, so it can take a bit of care and skill, particularly in a larger car. The main negative for us was breakfast. It became extremely busy and we initially had to queue to get into the dining area and then queue again for the hot food. By the time we had got in and collected our breakfast, we had probably spent around half an hour queuing, so it was a little frustrating to then be approached by a member of staff and told that breakfast would be closing in ten minutes. There was plenty of choice, although the hot breakfast isn’t particularly geared towards British tastes — which, of course, you wouldn’t necessarily expect in Spain. The hot selection included scrambled eggs, mushrooms and, slightly unusually for us, green peas, alongside salad and other options. There wasn’t anything resembling a full English breakfast. On the positive side, the croissants and other pastries were lovely, there were the usual cereals and the tea and coffee were very good. The food itself wasn’t really an issue for us; it was mainly the amount of time spent queuing and how crowded breakfast became.

L'hotel est très bien situé plein de resto juste à côté, les plages ne sont pas loin non plus, le parking est petit mais disponible, L'hotel est propre et les chambres sont très bien, et le personnel est agréable.

Le petit déjeuner est limité à mon sens, la partie salé est très simple et modeste.

Locurile de parcare din garajul hotelului sunt mici. Pentru SUV trebuie sa ocupi mai mult decat marcajul unui loc. In plus, iesirea din garaj a SUV nu poate fi facuta pe iesirea clasica datorita unghiului foarte mic de incadrare pe rampa de iesire. A trebuit sa folosesc rampa de intrare pentru a iesi din garaj.

Parkplätze sind mega klein, habe sehr viel Zeit gebraucht bis parkiert habe. Für ausfahren muss man bei Information melden ,finde ich persönlich bisschen blöd.

Πολύ μικρό το δωμάτιο για 4 άτομα.Ψιλη τιμή για το μέγεθος του δωματίου.Δεν είχε καθόλου άλλους χώρους πέρα από υποδοχή και εστιατόριο πρωινού.

O tamanho do quarto para 4 pessoas ficou extremamente desconfortável; o pequeno almoço ficou aquém também, pois tivemos que esperar numa fila devido o espaço não ser compatível para a estrutura do hotel; o hotel é central mas andar nas ruas nos arredores era bem desconfortável (mal cheiroso); enfim, as fotos disponibilizadas não demonstram a realidade.
