Great location for Portofino and only a short walk into Santa Margherita Ligure. The outside looks great.

The inside is a major disappointment- it does not reflect the lovely exterior. Staff not very friendly and breakfast was not very appealing - don’t dare ask if there are any more croissants as you will get growled at!

La camera, seppur con vista mare e pulita, non ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative. Un quadro appeso male, pavimento rovinato, lenzuolo bucato, cassaforte “libera” nell’armadio.

Wunderschönes Ambiente mit traumhaften Ausblick auf die Bucht-> unbeschreiblich schön! Sehr familiär mit besonders freundlichem Personal.

Unser einziges Problem war die Herausforderung der steilen Auffahrt, die wir mit unserem Auto leider nicht meistern konnten. Dafür gab es aber sofort eine pragmatische Lösung.

Il personale poco disponibile,molto poco amichevoli .Le stanze non erano così pulite c’era della polvere.Non c’era il bidet .Il bagno non aveva la porta ma una tenda come nel terzo mondo.Il gabinetto faceva un rumore strano tutta il giorno.Non funzionava il fon e non funzionava la tv.

Santa Margherita Ligure is a wonderful location to explore Portofino and Cinque Terre from. The coastal towns is stunning ! Finding affordable accommodation (with parking) however, is not easy. This old Villa packs a punch with charm. Don’t expect bells and whistles or glamour. But do expect lots of fake flowers. I just needed a place to sleep as i explored the area - so this delivered and good value for what you pay for.

Insonorisation phonique quasi inexistante.Réveillé pas des multiples passages de train. Personnel bruyant dans le couloir à 6h du matin. Petit déjeuner moyen avec jus de fruits coupé à l'eau. Au vu des désagrément le prix de la chambre est un peu cher. Ne vaut pas les 3 étoiles.

El Castello es muy interesante y evocador. Las camas son cómodas.

Para 200 euros la noche lo encuentro caro. No estaba mal, pero está algo anticuado y el desayuno no es nada del otro mundo.

La tipologia della struttura, ovvero una vecchia residenza nobile…… bellissima, la posizione alta dominante perfetta, lo staff accogliente e disponibile. Consigliatissimo

The ambience was great with everything seemingly true to this period residence. Staff were pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was good.

Unfortunately it is just a bit far out of town and I was told that a taxi would be very costly for the distance.

I did not like the location. It was up a steep hill and It was very hard to walk back up there in the heat. For the price it's very basic.

Nel mini frigo della stanza non vi era neanche una bottiglietta d’acqua per gli ospiti. Quest’ultima ci é stata fornita solo su richiesta. Location suggestiva ma andrebbe rivisto complessivamente il suo interno.

The actual building was super authentic and nice. The room was comfortable as well with properly working air conditioning. Breakfast was good with nice sea view as a bonus. Traveling by car you will have to park your vehicle on the hotel private parking (but it requires an additional payment).

Location is good and overall, it's not far from the beach and city center (about 15 mins walk) but you need to consider that some part of the road is going up.

Unique atmosphere! Lovely place. The view from the room is fantastic. Ten minutes to the beach by a short walk. Parking experience! Nice town near to Portofino.

Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Freundlichkeit des gesamten Teams. Bereits vor unserer Anreise wurde auf meine Nachricht bezüglich der Klimaanlage eingegangen. Beim Check-in erhielten wir eine ausführliche und freundliche Einführung. Auch das Reinigungs- und Rezeptionspersonal war jederzeit aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist in einem kleinen Schloss aus dem 19. Jahrhundert untergebracht und hat dadurch einen ganz besonderen Charme. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig, sehr sauber und das Badezimmer ebenfalls grosszügig. Die ruhige Lage hat uns gut gefallen, und trotzdem erreicht man das Zentrum in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss. Auch die Parkplatzlösung fanden wir gelungen. Obwohl die Zufahrt etwas steil ist und nur wenige Parkplätze vorhanden sind, kann man den Autoschlüssel an der Rezeption hinterlegen, sodass das Personal die Fahrzeuge bei Bedarf umparken kann.

Das sind nur Kleinigkeiten: Da wir unsere Ankunftszeit vorab mitgeteilt und um eine Überprüfung der Klimaanlage gebeten hatten, wäre es schön gewesen, wenn das Zimmer bei unserer Ankunft bereits angenehm gekühlt gewesen wäre. Ausserdem hatten wir einen Zweitschlüssel für unser Fahrzeug an der Rezeption hinterlegt und diesen beim Check-out versehentlich vergessen. Ein kurzer Hinweis des Personals oder eine kleine Erinnerung an der Rezeption hätte uns die Rückfahrt erspart. Das ist jedoch lediglich ein Verbesserungsvorschlag und hat unseren insgesamt sehr positiven Eindruck nicht geschmälert.

Die Zufahrt und die Parkplätze sind sehr eng. Allenfalls muss man etwas warten, bis andere weggefahren sind.

Hotel molto particolare e caratteristico, pulito e con una vista molto bella. Abbastanza vicina al centro e al mare, raggiungibile a piedi in 10 minuti. Soddisfatta.

La salita ripida e stretta in accesso alla struttura è impossibile da percorrere col taxi che, quindi, ci ha lasciato a bordo strada. Abbiamo dovuto percorrere l'ultimo tratto a piedi.

Per un errore con la reception abbiamo scoperto che le chiavi aprono tutte le stanze. Posizione non comodissima da raggiungere a piedi.

L'hotel e la camera erano molto puliti e ordinati, camera molto carina con vista panoramica bellissima! Letto molto comodo. Molto affascinante poter alloggiare in un castello!! Situato in una posizione molto buona, il centro si raggiunge comodamente a piedi in circa 10 minuti, vicino anche alla fermata dell'autobus se si desidera raggiungere Portofino. Colazione abbondante e buona, con possibilità di scegliere sia salato che dolce. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Das Hotel ist unglaublich schön und liegt in einer wunderschönen Gegend. Nur etwa 2 Gehminuten entfernt befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle, und das Stadtzentrum erreicht man in ungefähr 13 Minuten zu Fuß. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, herzlich und immer hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag gereinigt und alles wurde täglich aufgefüllt bzw. erneuert. Mit der Sauberkeit war ich wirklich sehr zufrieden. Auch das Frühstück war für ein 3-Sterne-Hotel überraschend vielfältig und sehr lecker. Besonders die Pancakes und die Orangenmarmelade habe ich geliebt – ich werde sie wirklich sehr vermissen! 🥞🍊❤️ Insgesamt war mein Aufenthalt wunderschön und ich würde dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Siamo arrivati in struttura e nonostante la prenotazione fosse stata accettata e già pagata online in realtà la camera non era disponibile e lo staff non è stato in grado di fornirci una soluzione alternativa di pari livello nella medesima località. Dopo oltre 40 minuti di attesa siamo dovuti andare via e cercare in autonomia una nuova sistemazione, il che ha comportato - oltre a un notevole disagio - costi superiori del 50% rispetto alla tariffa che ci aveva fornito booking.

L'établissement est vraiment bien situé et c'est le gros point fort ! Chambre climatisée très agréable en été également et propre.

Nous avions la chambre "côté" jardin" comme nous la présentait la réceptionniste. Néanmoins ce n'est qu'un nom et nous avons été plutôt déçus par l'aspect très simple de la chambre. En résumé, chambre sommaire à l'extérieur de la belle bâtisse que l'on peut voir sur les photos. Nous n'avions pas la sensation de profiter de cette magnifique villa et de son charme. Les photos laissent supposer que toutes les chambres sont dans la villa ce qui n'est pas le cas d'où notre déception.

Très bel hôtel, bien situé au calme, et pas trop loin du centre. Facile de le trouver et d’y arriver en voiture (il y a un parking, ce qui est pratique). La bâtisse est magnifique et le parc autour est très beau aussi.

L’accès au parking est hyper raide et faisait un peu peur, mais finalement même avec une voiture un peu basse, c’est allé!
