Holiday Inn & Suites Montreal Airport by IHG

Always clean Holiday Inn

Clean room, staff was very nice

Bel hôtel, bien situé, stationnement sécurisé.

Nice place, a little off the beaten path. Convenience to several restaurants by car. Clean, quiet, comfortable, and great staff! Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel in an industrial area.

H

Pool and fitness center in excellent condition. Room spacious and shuttle service convenient. Could have used a no not disturb sign in room and safe but would stay here again.

Clean

I like the place

Great hotel right by the airport

It works 20 min to pretty much anywhere

Very quick trip from the airport. Ate at the restaurant. Good food

Popular restaurant closed on sunday

We loved how welcoming the girl at the desk was, I can’t remember her name but she was Spanish she was super nice!! Also the maintenance guy which was Spanish as well both were really nice and made sure we had a good stay! Thank you for the services and making sure me and my family had a good time! We will be back!

I didn’t like the area around the hotel. The area felt is very industrial. I felt like I wish I was in nicer surroundings. It was difficult to navigate to places on the opposite side of the highways, especially at night.

Images of rooms are better than the actual. But that does not take away the amazing friendliness of the staff. A/C did not work, we got a new room. Pool is perfect. Sad that there is nothing around example corner store. Shuttle in time and confortable.

Super convenient to the airport. Comfy beds.

The room is very spacious and clean.

Location

Excellent

Very satisfied , nice place and clean

Very nice hotel, kind employees

Large room, clean. Nice staff

Parking spots are limited, staffs were welcoming and room was clean

“Whenever I come to Montreal, I always book the same hotel in the same place.” I love it but little bit expensive.

Great, safe , quite and friendly service

Bed was comfortable, clean room. Needed more rowels

Clean, nice room.

Big room, king bed, sofa and desk. 2 Tvs. Industrial area. TV playback from phone Android only. Pricey breakfast - but no a la carte available. Not a fan of buffet scrambled eggs especially these. Cardboard cups only in room-no regular water glasses or porcelain cups and not allowed to bring from dining area or order them from housekeeping No room safe.

The check in was well done by Rosa. The lady in the restaurant was also great during both dinner and breakfast.

Please next time lower the price of breakfast or make it completely free 25$ per person is outrageous for anyone and then make buffet payable. Everything was expensive, including BUYING WATER. Was 10-15$. But otherwise the area and everhtning was completely good and fine, and there’s hidden fees that wasn’t mentioned. Before you come and check-in make sure you have 150$ on your credit card as a “security deposit” which is bs never seen that before if you don’t got a credit card it’s 250$ by cash. I’d recommend to stay away because of how high the price is but you know it’s a good hotel staffs are pretty good.

Close to their airport with a good sized room.

Great stay

The hotel lobby is beautiful and the restaurant staff are very friendly. 3 main complaints: rooms do not have USBC outlets; you have to order housekeeping services each day of your stay otherwise no service (and that is not communicated at check-in); AC in room very loud.

Property itself was good just didn't seem like a lot around it. We did more traveling back and forth other than staying in the city.

Great place

We stayed on the hotel due to a long layover using Air Canada. We managed to go and visit Downtown and Old Port Montreal from 8pm till 12mn. Downtown Montreal is super busy even after we left past 12mn. If you are looking to just relax and sleep while waiting for your next flight or take the opportunity to quickly visit and have a few rounds of beer, I would rhighly recommend Holiday Inn Hotel by YUL Airport

Excellent shower. Shuttle a great benefit.

Really liked the hotel, very nice pool, sauna, hottub. Rooms were spacious, bathroom was large. We did not have a renovated room but it was still pretty good. TV was small. Wifi was not amazing. Good distance from airport. The free shuttle was nice except to call it, not having a canadian phone nor canadian coins, nor the hotel providing a toll-free number for the shuttle, I used my credit card to make a 30 second phone call that cost me $17. This is annoying.

When you check in you have to pay deposit and then you have to wait a month to get it back . This hotel is one big joke . After sending few emails got an information that accountant is away for a month and staff doesn’t have access to those information so I just have to wait. Never seen such an unprofessional approach to the customer.

Friendly staff

The front desk staff are exemplary & an asset to the hotel. Lobby & main areas were very nice. Although my room on the 6th floor was in need of some paint & updating the beds & bathroom was clean. Great location with easy access to the hwy.

Great stay with convenient airport shuttle.

The reservation was swift. The room was clean. Overall it was nice.

Ac in the room was partly broken. It ran on n short cycles and kept switching on and off. Manager does not seem to care.

I called this hotel before booking to ask if I could use a visa debit card to book. Was told that I could as long as I paid online and allowed a hold to be placed on my card at check in. When I tried to check in I was told that I had give a $250 cash deposit. Which would have been fine if I would have known ahead of time. I had to pack my stuff back in the truck and go find a bank machine. All this with a small child with a disability. It was a lot of running around that could have been avoided. It’s why I called in advance to avoid all this hassle. Was very disappointed. Otherwise…. Pros - onsite restaurant was delicious and very convenient. Loved having access to a balcony from my room. Cons - room was dirty. Found a random sock on a chair. Requested a new room. Was given same type of room newly remodeled. Floor was very dirty as was the grout in the bathroom. I stayed at this hotel 11 years ago and it was beautiful and clean. It has really deteriorated over the years.

Parking at a fee but convenient. Highly recommended.

Basic hotel near the airport (not at the airport). Decent sized room, but inadequate furnishings. Suites really should have double beds and a sofa bed. Tables should have four chairs, not two. Lobby was nice and clean. Restaurant was adequate when needed. Airport shuttle was handy. We were here for over a week for the Grand Prix. It was not convenient and we would not do it again. If we just needed a night or two max, yes. But, not longer. Website advertises daily housekeeping, however, one employee told me I needed to call and another employee told me it is automatically provided during Grand Prix.

It was a good stay however the fridge was too small, the walls had cracks and scuff marks, the toilet was difficult to flush and the shower head was very loose.

I went to the Canadian Grand Prix. The desk clerks gave me good advice about getting from the airport hotel to the race track. Also, the free parking was nice. The buffet breakfast was very good. But the dinner items were not very good.

Nice hotel, near airport, can’t really hear the planes so no issue. But the hotel rooms have a bad a/c system that sounds like a truck every time it turns on and off.

Exactly what you would expect for an airport hotel

Checkin was easy, there's someone at the reception all the time. Water filter wasnt working on Floor 5.

Wont stay there again if you paid us!

The shuttle is convenient. The pool was nice. The in-room amenities lacked a little bit - the walls were dirty and scratched. The bathroom fan was noisy, and the water pressure in the shower was poor.

Convenient option near the airport for a layover. Clean and comfortable. Free Airport shuttle; called after retrieving luggage and the shuttle arrived promptly. The price point is a bit high comparative to quality. Particularly, as there was construction ongoing in the hotel which was disruptive in the morning.

Not much around the property in regards to shopping or restaurants. Can’t say for all staff, but personal experience with 1 employee on counter was terrible.

the pictures on line were deceptive. I paid for a suite, which implies a bedroom. It was one big room with a ratty chair and fabric hanging from the bottom of it. In addition, the fan in the bathroom sounded like a freight train and you cannot turn it off as it is connected to the light switch. I paid for 3 nights and stayed one night. So in essence I paid over 700.00 for 1 night stay. I contacted the front desk and explained that this is not what I paid for. The response was suites were upgraded and this one was not yet upgraded and there were no upgraded suites available.

Fast, friendly easy check in and out. Quiet, clean large rooms. Secure parking.

Amazing, clean, neat layout and spacious.

I like this place People are always there for you

Clean and spacious room.

The restaurant had a CAB Burger on the menu, usually a great experience but they ruined it with processed American cheese instead of Cheddar, what a waste of a good patty. Menu also said served in a pretzel bun, it was not.

Great

Silencieux, confortable,

It’s overpriced for a 2* night. The room was much too big for the scant furnishings inside, and the décor looked like something from the 1980s. I had an awful sleep thanks to an equally old and wheezy a/c unit in the wall. This is about a C$100 per night hotel and I paid thrice that. Also the free airport shuttle stops running at 11pm. That said, they do have a K-Cup coffee machine in the room, so props there. Still if I need a hotel by the airport again, I'll choose a different one next time.

Stayed overnight for a transit. Located near the Montreal airport!

All was satisfactory

Great stay

Nice stay and comfortable

Outdated room. Washroom sink was clogged. Washroom door lock didn't work. Washroom shower head did not work properly. Room had a very weird smell.

Stay was good

Nice place to spend the week end or short gate away.

👍👍👍👍

We had a short layover of about 10 hours at this hotel. Checkin was quick and friendly. Had asked for a room on a higher floor and away from the elevators which was accommodated. The room was fairly large, quiet and got a good night's sleep before heading out to travel again. We did dine at the restaurant for dinner and the food and service were good. Overall a good hotel for a layover without breaking the bank

Overall, the room exudes a sense of the decades it has seen, but the lack of upkeep. It is not a warm or welcoming feel in the room.

Overall, the property was well located comfortable, and transportation was good. The unfortunate part was the lack of staff and service within the bar/dining room. Having one waitress to serve the entire restaurant, including the bar is actually unacceptable. She did a great job and I thank her for that.

Very efficient check in. Pleasant staff at front desk.

Thank you

excellent service at check-in. The booking for the free shuttle service to the airport is great. Due to close location to the airport, not much surrounding the area but excellent to know the restaurant in the hotel is open late till 10:30 pm that we took advantage of.

Safe

Dirty hotel, rude staff, and inaccurate shuttle information. Terrible choice and I won’t stay here again. I had to pay $25 for a 3minute Uber ride because the person I talked to didn’t tell me the shuttle didn’t run 24hours (I would have booked a different hotel if they did).

Property has an airport shuttle. Bed very comfortable. Good food at the restaurant. Pleasant staff. Traffic noise outside.

Good

We had a great and comfortable stay. Beds were comfortable and amenities were great

We arrived at 1am and it was the smoothest check in

Nothing

Close to the airport.

Perfect clean place for the night near airport

They should make it clear that the airport shuttle is not available after 11 pm

Really enjoyed this hotel. Enjoyed that they had a bar and lounge it was great after a long day of travelling

Great location and quiet.

Everything

A great place to stay before a flight. Very good service.

Property is very convenient

It was lovely.

The hotel is very good.

It was great all the amenities were awesome and the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was ok. Just be careful when you. Book with a 3rd part it says breakfast included which is not.

Property and room was great. I arrived in the evening with lots of baggage with a teenager and an infant it was very cold and snowy outside as we were dropped off by an Uber. After checkin asked for a hotel cart so I could take my baggage to the room on the 4th floor. The lady at the front desk said they were all locked up for the night and offered no help. She watched my teenager and I struggle to hold the elevator door stay open as we pulled it all into the elevator. Honestly just rude to not offer any kind of assistance as I was doing it all with an infant. Other than that property was great as usual. I expected better customer service though.

Tout est parfait
