Beautiful surrounds - we will return . Furniture in room 311 was very grubby and not comfortable- needs replacing/updating. Pool furniture needs a very good clean also.

L’entorn de l’hotel ens va agradar molt, així com les piscines. L’habitació era confortable i ens van posar un llit supletori per a la meva filla, cosa que va estar molt bé, la veritat. Un punt molt a favor. No sé si era només a la nostra habitació, ja que estava als baixos, però hi havia un deshumidificador, cosa que també vam valorar positivament.

L’espai de l’esmorzar ens va semblar una mica estret per a la quantitat de gent que hi havia.

Breakfast was disappointing. Most hotels we have stayed at in Seminyak sanur and Legian offer specialized coffee, a wide variety of fresh juices. The continental breakfast lacked variety.

Breakfast was very basic with little choice, coffee machines breaking down every day. Three lovely pools with two of them catered for children but the third pool should have been adults only but constantly had children in it. Many residents complained that this pool should have been adults only for peace and quiet. Our room was lovely but there was a constant drain smell in the toilet.

We have stayed twice this year! Love it.🥰

Sarebbe stato bello avere più intrattenimento attivo per i più piccoli, qualche spettacolo serale ad esempio.

La struttura è davvero bellissima! Centro spa da 10 e lode anche se un po caro rispetto agli standard di Bali. Colazione ricca difronte al mare. Il personale è davvero tanto gentile e accogliente.

Piscina non pulitissima, i lettini andrebbero sostituiti. Il mare una vera delusione.

Lovely gardens and the rooms were lovely and clean. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and the Byrd house restaurant was very good.

Bed was a little hard for my liking. I don’t like the day beds in the water around the main pool. I prefer to be on dry land!

Difficult to get away from continual loud background repetitive lounge music in restaurant,beach & large pool. Only escape was pool by reception. Room in Village 1 on ground floor smelt musty with continual dehumidifier plus aircon. Realise this building to be dismantled Nov 2026 but overpriced compared to our 3 weeks in Bali at other hotels.

Our third visit to this hotel. We love the beautiful gardens with statues etc. staff are really friendly and helpful. Location is great with easy access to beach, ikon mart and shops etc. Nice beach area with settees and sun beds. Our room had a nice balcony with view of the garden.

Hotel is more noisy than in the past with a lot of kids and loud music in restaurant area. Although great choice at breakfast hot buffet was cold. Getting tea and coffee was a long walk, some teapots or big mugs would be good Restaurant food rather hit and miss depending on what you order.

The rooms a little dated for the price

We love Segara Village and think it’s great value for money. The staff are always so lovely and welcoming, and the hotel has such a relaxed atmosphere. Byrd House is a real highlight — beautiful setting, great food and such a nice place to spend time.

The only thing I’d love to see improved is the kids’ club. The staff there are absolutely lovely, but the space could do with a bit of a glow-up and it would be great to have more organised activities for the children throughout the day.

I stayed in a bungalow room. It was located at the back of the property facing into other rooms. It was reasonably sized for a solo traveller and the bathroom was lovely with both a shower and bath. I had to request a queen bed after I was given 2 singles but this was easily accommodated. There was mineral water replaced each day and a turn down service which was sweet. Location wise it was right on the beach and close to other Sanur amenities. In terms of atmosphere; this is a hotel for families. The pools were full of children. There is an adults only pool but the vibe is families and that’s what you are paying for. You could definitely find better value elsewhere. The food and drinks at the hotel are also very expensive and their pool towel card policy was really annoying. Also one of my pillows was covered in mould.

The back pool, room, meals, Byrd house, close to everything staff, service, gardens, everything.

Steps, older people need rails to get up to tables.

We love Sanur and Segara is very well located, plenty of shopping close by and good restaurants. Also great to be by the sea for a beautiful sunrise. Segara is a very family friendly with something for everyone.

Rooms are nice, beautiful grounds, lovely breakfast. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Staff are so helpful and nice. Our room seemed newly renovated so very nice. The grounds and beach restaurant, bar etc. look so pretty at night. Can't wait to go back.

the loud music and the bad DJ guy that was at the front area near Byrd House restaurant. Music was far too loud and really boring. A small live band would have been far better. A lot of the guests we spoke too said the same thing.

We didn’t dine at the restaurant as it was mainly western food options. More Indonesian food would have been better. Next door is a community run restaurant which was tasty and cheap

Den Kindern hat es auch super gefallen Sehr gutes Frühstück und auch sonst war Essen sehr gut Personal sehr freundlich und toll hat es einen Bademeister am pool welcher sich sehr aufmerksam ist Schöner Spa Bereich Waren zum 2. Mal dort, würden immer wieder kommen wenn wir in Sanur sind

The location on the beach is fantastic - very close to Baruna Markets, short walk to Icon Mall, lots of cafés and warungs nearby, easy walking distance to Tamblingan Road. Three pools to choose from, fab buffet breakfast at Byrd House Restaurant. Byrd House Café on site. Staff were all very friendly and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We had a room at the back of the resort which was lovely and quiet, comfortable bed and very clean. The turn down service each night was a lovely little extra (with house-baked mini chocolate chip cookies). The grounds and garden are lovely and very well kept - and the resident ginger cat was very affectionate! The main pool near the restaurant can be very busy as it is available to public as well as guests but there is a smaller pool not far away for guests only which is where we spent the majority of our pool time. There is also a pool with swim up bar which seemed to only be open late afternoon and we only saw people in that pool a couple of times. The Sunday BBQ they offer at the Byrd House restaurant is worth the price (not expensive by western standards but quite a bit pricier than the local warungs). Can definitely recommend the tuna steak - best meal we had in Sanur. We really enjoyed our stay at Segara and would happily stay again. Have no problem recommending to others

Perfect stay, the hotel is set in beautiful gardens, we had an upstairs family connecting room, the bathrooms are a bit odd but didn’t really bother us. Staff are lovely, breakfast is quite good but not much variety, pools lovely, location perfect for Sanur beachfront. Loved our stay , the price was also very reasonable for our family room.

Love the location. It was beautifully lit at night. Lagoon pool was nice; plenty of sun loungers. Bathroom was nice.

The room (bungalow) we were allocated was okay but it was situated at the rear of the hotel grounds to left alongside the boundary wall. Private and quiet BUT the stench of cooking smells and grease from the back of the restaurant next door was disgusting. It was constant and I had to buy air freshener for our room and keep the door closed. It meant that we were not able to enjoy our terrace at all. For the price ($250 a night) this was very disappointing. Breakfast was ok; the fresh fruit and pastries were good but the hot selection was not good quality at all: boiled sausages and stewed bacon. Service overall was hit and miss. There are a lot of staff members but sometimes impossible to get their attention. Pool area was not cleaned through the day: rubbish (food wrappers etc) not cleared away. Pool side drinks service was non existent. They issue towel cards and then remind you relentlessly to bring the towels back and not keep them; which is obvious. There are signs everywhere regarding all of their “rules” which were common sense but the signage was over the top. Overall, the location is what makes this place lovely. I’d stay again but request a room on the northern side to avoid the smells, but only if I could get a better value rate.

We really enjoyed the tranquility and gardens of the resort even though it was quite central and just 6 min walk to Icon Mall. Great pools including one just for kids. Bird restaurant was also great. Great and super friendly staff

The overall ambiance was lovely. A few paths are difficult for an older person to negotiant. Our room, 104 needed an Air Purifier for some reason, it kept forcing HOT AIR into the room, which needed turning off now and again. Suryati and her staff are lovely. It's lovely to see the same faces every year, that tells us the staff are efficient and happy.

We are staying somewhere less expensive next year because we are PENSIONERS on a limited budget, although will finish our holiday with 3 days with you in June 2027. We would stay the whole time if we could afford it. The other place is further away from the beach, although is $65.00/night, not $200.00/night.

We were given a large room in the same area as other seniors and had a shared pool, no children. Very quiet and comfortable.

The self service breakfast not so convenient as I needed to choose everything for my husband as he had mobility and vision problems. Good breakfast selection with self service coffee machine.

Très bel endroit au niveau des extérieurs , dont nous aurions voulu profiter plus longtemps. Magnifiques jardin, piscine et restau.

Nous avions réservé dans cet hôtel pour ne pas rentrer de Gili air et prendre directement l'avion de retour, au cas où il y aurait eu un problème avec le bateau de retour. Nous y sommes arrivés en fin d'après-midi et nous n'avons pas pu profités de la piscine qui a fermé 1/2h après notre arrivée. D'autre part, nous avions le petit déjeuner d'inclus, or notre avion décollait à 7h du matin, nous sommes donc partis très tôt. J'ai demandé une compensation financière sur le dîner du soir, ce qui m'a été refusé et on nous a donné à la place un petit déjeuner à emporter franchement pas terrible. Salle de bain dans les WC, pas en rapport avec le standing et surtout le prix des chambres de l'hôtel : une grande chambre et pas de salle de bain, juste un lavabo dans la chambre, et la douche dans les WC !

The price we paid does not reflect the room we recieved. The bathroom was smaller than a caravan ensuite. ( It's not a bathroom..its a toilet and shower sharing a very small area ) A rigid white bit of plastic trys to separate the toilet and shower which it does not. The bathroom sink is located in a large void space three times the size of the combined shower and toilet???....and is just odd. The room is standard layout and outlook of the hotel works. The Breakfast which is held in the Byrd House is another odd design. The different levels make the place feel small and congested. Having to share tables also make it very congested. Breakfast was basic. It was a good stay but the room's "bathroom?" was a big disappointment....it would not give you privacy if Bali Belly kicked in.

Lovely resort with a beautiful garden. We arrived late in the evening and the garden was so pretty with all the lights and decoration, really beautiful! Room was very comfortable and the people are very kind. Lovely swimming pools and great breakfast buffet. :) Location is perfect, situated at the promenade and nearby good restaurants.

Was always able to get sun bed near pool. Staff were lovely.

Butter should be placed near toast station. We found the steps around the eating areas quite difficult as we are elderly.

We stayed in a deluxe twin room - very spacious and clean, great bathroom. The grounds are very well maintained and the lighting at night is stunning with beautiful fairy lights throughout the property. The food was fabulous. We opted not to have breakfast included however there was a great menu at the Byrd restaurant. The staff were most healpful and very friendly.

The bed was so hard and uncomfortable, my hips were painful everyday. Each different eating area/room service had the same menu. I would like to see some more variety in menu depending on if eating in main restaurant vs the beach deck area vs the glassed in area.
