The breakfast buffet was basically carbs. Or pre made chemically engineered things that are made to look like food. The water pressure was terrible in the shower. The towels. What towels? The kitchenette. The oven hadn't been cleaned in so long the smoke from turning it on. Set off both fire alarms. Tainted the food so badly it was unedible. When I suggested to the front desk it needed a good cleaning. She looked at me like I was speaking any undesirable language outside of Philipino. Incredibly overpriced. Terrible linens. Terrible food. Over priced services if any. Ice machines not existent. Parking lot of pot holes.

The pool was amazing! The kids loved it. There was a good selection of items for breakfast, which made a two day stay with breakfast enjoyable. Hotel staff accommodated our request for bedding and for use of breakfast room for our group pizza supper.

The parking lot was so icy. The breakfast area did not have enough utensils.

Breakfast was ok. Nothing special, my kids loved the waffles.

We could hear the baby crying next door. The room had stained furniture. A long walk to get to the elevator. A lot of money for an okay hotel.

Great place to stay our first night the smoke detector malfunctioning cost us two hours of sleep, the staff in the middle of the night handled it very well but there was never a mention of any compensation for the inconvenience

Nice hotel, stayed in suite room with fridge and stove. Very clean hotel thar offers a game room, gym and pool. Continental breakfast is well stocked with a daily variety. Would stay again

Unfortunately our room was quite gross. Not the areas you would commonly touch, but the walls were muddy and splattered with food and other liquids. The back of the bathroom door was very dirty with dried on mucous and soap splatters. There was mud splashed above the shower and behind the towel rack, hair in the kitchen sink drain and stains on the bedding and bed skirt. You could see where the bar of soap had been used from the previous guest as that area of the bathroom counter had not been wiped down. Even my teenage son was horrified and that says a lot. I asked for a new room after the first night as I couldn’t handle it anymore. The new room was somewhat cleaner but not a lot. The front end staff was kind and had no objections to switching rooms for us, thankfully.

Location and easy to find

The room was not clean. Stains on the walls, desk and lamp, sheets had stains and hair on them. Bed was not comfortable.

Room was spacious, staff were pleasant, beds were comfortable.

Few breakfast options when need vegetarian, halal or gluten-free. Sheets and covers seem to be polyester so were hot and uncomfortable.

Buffet breakfast was well stocked, pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyed almost every day of our stay.

Stairwell was dirty Bed didn’t get made because was daughter’s pj’s were on it. Coffee pods and creamers weren’t restocked daily.

We had a joining room with family. It was perfect for our large group. And with a kitchenette and pet friendly, it had everything we needed! Good breakfast and so much fun in pool and slide. This property is clean and has it all! Highly recommend!

Had a suite and it was nice but the furniture is so old and worn that when you sat on a chair or sofa, you sunk way down. Place and rooms need a facelift.

Booked a 2 queen room, was given a room with 3 double beds and a kitchenette. Had to go and get the right room. Clerk was hard to understand and was not friendly. Also there were some weird smells

As always staffs were very friendly and accommodating upon check in, during and checkout was smooth and easy. The room was spacious but washroom was tiny squeezed for tub and toilet. The wash sink is separated by the bathroom door which is accessible for everyone. The sink draining system takes awhile tho, informed the front desk already to fix it for future booking. The pool is huge to cater everyone. It was a busy weekend people come and go but staff always make sure the towels are filled with clean towels which was good. They have breakfast as well. It was worth the stay. We’ll definitely recommend this place to family and friends tho it seems old already but they’re having renovations.

Very expensive for the value. They do have a good breakfast selection, but their 6-10 breakfast hours is a total rip off. We came down late (about 5-10 minutes before 10) I get that this late in the morning there might not be much food selection left. We were traveling for sports and one of our kids took sick so we ended up sleeping late. However, it was not the customers that had cleaned it out. It wasn’t even 10 yet and the staff had already cleaned away everything, including coffee. What was worse, some staff came in and filled to-go containers with food. When my husband went to get an egg, there was nothing left. The staff lady told him ‘sorry, there is nothing left’, and took off with her container full that she had just filled. Very disappointing when you pay almost $200/night to stay in GP.

It was ok, we were unable to adjust the thermostat and tried but wouldn’t let us. Then Tv didn’t work so let them know. The pillows aren’t goos

Room was spacious but washroom was too small that you have to squeezed in yourself to get in as toilet was too close behind the door. Hand wash area was separated from the bathroom which is convenient. The room is great for big families and extended relatives or friends adjoining rooms available on both sides of the room. The pool is big with slide and hot tub. Breakfast available. The place is accessible and a lot of choices to go around in the city. Great weekend at Grande Prairie AB

Really enjoyed it

It’s got a great pool for the kids (and mom), the hot tub is huge and the temperature controls in the rooms are great.

Liked the fact we had two queen beds and a queen pull out sofa for 3 adults with plenty of space to move around the room. Included coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Real food at breakfast. Fantastic on-site amenities.

No fault of the property but snow clearing in the city of Grande Prairie is pitiful at best, beware if driving in the winter the side roads accessing the hotel are treacherous.

I would have given a 5 start if parking was easier to find due to shift trade workers taking over it.

Overall it was a good stay, minus them not having towels for the pool in stock. Top of the fridge was actually dirty, could’ve been cleaner.

I booked the hotel as it served to a smoker … I am smoker and room was great … the location was great for using the taxi service … staff and facilities were great … happy to help me … highly recommended it … price was great

Pool and hot tub was great, but bring your own towel.

I planned a weekend with all 6 of my 7 grandchildren! It was my birthday celebration! We went for dinner at Mr. Mikes just across the street from the hotel! We then went to the hotels pool & water slide and spent the evening in the pool or the fabulous hot tub! Not a lukewarm hot tub and a hot tub made by Canadians for Canadian lol! So great! The room was large with 3 beds, microwave stove (full size) & fridge …also full size! A little kitchen sink and dishes along with a dishwasher too! The hotel, although fairly busy was so quiet. I would recommend this hotel again! It was fantastic!
