I like the facility
The food was not as good as I expected
The food was horrible my kids , husband and myself are all sick.
The food and drinks was horrible.loud staff cleaning in the mornings moving furniture around bad night sleep staff walked into our room at 8:30am check is at 12 noon
I liked the food ,the environment, and the friendly and helpful staff.
Needs a variety of entertainment.
The breakfast and lunch experience was good
Some of The females greeting you on entrance to have breakfast and lunch needed better customer service skills. I lost my appetite just by entering and seeing their faces. I enjoyed the service provided by male servers.
The different meals had variety. The location was awesome. I will recommend my friends and family for sure
Everything top tier
No take out service and room service charge
There was sooo much to do. Great amenities!
It is far from outside excursions
La habitación estuvo espectacular
Todos hablan inglés no hay nadie que hable español
Everything was great. The staff was friendly. Food was good. Absolutely have no complaints.
The wait time to get a shadow to take you back to your room when you’re at the main building
Staff was fun and kind. Pool was very nice and clean.
Food was 4/10 and rooms were hot.
The facilities were clean and well maintained.
None of the elevators were working for the duration of our stay. Not very family friendly when moving around with a stroller
Todo! Las instalaciones, la comida y la atención es maravillosa, siempre están pendientes que quieres o que necesitas… Espectacular!!
Todo estuvo genial!
The place. Slide for kids.
There is not enough care taken for vegan food to be separated from meat. Please cater better for vegans. We were told that chicken nuggets and fries are done in the same oil
Same over and over. Not fresh
Didn't have a lot of choices
Everything was absolutely amazing. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was attentive and friendly.
I loved everything about the property.
The staff
No elevator
Excellent Customer Service from the staff from different departments. They all greeted you with a smile or a Good Day each time you walk pass them. Great Job Team Palladium Jamaica.
The ambiance and the staff were very nice.
The food the only thing I enjoyed was the fruits and the egg omelet.
Lindas piscinas, la comida muy bien.
La playa, el personal poco atento, habitaciones muy alejadas de piscinas y restaurantes. Mal servicio de traslado a las habitaciones
Overall, it was a great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and tidy. We didn't have an elevator at the villa where I stayed so of course we had to use the stairs and it was a bit of a challenge when it comes to the luggage. Also the food was good but I wish they had a bit more options. Otherwise, it's a great resort. Mi
I liked how big ans soacious pools
There was no entertainment because it was raining.
Loved the beach and pool and our room was nice too
Had to wait till 4.30 to receive my room. Check in is at 3pm. On the day of departure they knocked on my door just after check out to ask when are we leaving. I thought that was a bit cheeky considering I sat in the lobby from 1.30 till 4.30 waiting for a room.
Dated but nice. Needs renovation
It’s clean
There was barely any food and they don’t have straws
I loved everything about this place
My stay was too short
Breakfast amazing everything was on point
I like everything
The kids pool
They have no urgency to fix your situation once you are black.

Friendly staff. Good food. Lovely rooms.
My first time it was very nice and relaxing.. I know they are recovering from hurricane but I enjoyed my stay . Staff was nice and helpful every spoke and was pleasant
Check in was long for some people and reservations were mixed up. I booked through booking.com and they made it impossible to fix it so I wasn't happy to have to pay extra 650.00
Everything was nice
There was nothing to not like.
clean and the food was decent
TV did not work and the staff was not very accommodating
Loved it.
Having to go back to the room 3 times to get the shuttle bus because I was with a couple of seniors.
Pool
THEY ARE SCAMMING! THEY CHECKED US IN WITH MY DAUGHTER, GAVE HER AN ARMBAND, PUT US IN A 3 BED BEDROOM, THEN WHEN WE WANTED TO CHECK OUT THEY SAID THEY DIDNT KNOW A CHILD WAS WITH US, AND FORCEFULLY MADE US PAY $2000 FOR A CHILD WITHOUT GIVING US A RECEIPT! THEY ARE RUNNING A SCAM AND THE POLICE IS NOT LOOKING INTO IT CAUSE THEY ARE SURELY ON PAYROLL! GOOGLE GRAND PALLADIUM SCAM AND SEE WHAT SHOWS UP
Lovely big clean rooms.
Pool looked dirty at times and sales staff were a bit too pushy trying to get you to upgrade your stay. Additionally the beach was not that great. Also when we ordered a bottle of wine we asked to try it and it was not good. We then said we didn’t want it and instead wanted a dearer bottle, which we knew we liked, this was a big problem and we basically had to speak to 3 managers to resolve and then the service the rest of the evening was terrible.
The property was well maintained
The furniture in rooms could have been more modern. One of the television didn’t work
Everything!!
No elevator
Beautiful- lots of places to eat - lot of beach access- pools were nice - views were amazing
Reaching facility for a shuttle was very challenging- if u don’t put a towel on a chair at 6am you probably won’t get one - food was plentiful but similar every night
Very helpful staff.
Was clean
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Grand Palladium from April 3–5, 2026, and I can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. What truly made this stay exceptional was the incredible staff. Each interaction felt warm, genuine, and personalized—something that’s rare to find and deeply appreciated. My evenings at Miss Lou Bar were a highlight, thanks to Jonathan, Natania, and Franklyn. Their energy, attentiveness, and friendly conversations created such a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that I looked forward to returning each night. Breakfast at the Negril restaurant was equally delightful, with Tia providing outstanding service. She was attentive, pleasant, and made sure everything was just right—an amazing way to start the day. Dining across the resort was a treat, and several team members truly stood out: • Krisana at Sumptuori restaurant delivered a seamless and enjoyable dining experience with excellent attention to detail. • Ramona at Mobay restaurant was warm and professional, ensuring everything ran smoothly. • Trevoy at Bhogali restaurant made the experience both comfortable and memorable with his great service. • Akeem at La Adelita restaurant brought such a positive and engaging energy that enhanced the entire meal. Each of these individuals went above and beyond to make my stay special, and their dedication did not go unnoticed. Overall, Grand Palladium exceeded my expectations with its beautiful ambiance, excellent dining options, and, most importantly, its outstanding staff. I would absolutely return and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a memorable and well-cared-for getaway.
Friendly Clean great price
The property was great.
Staff and service was ok
Climbing the steps
The room
Wasn't much fruit selection
Everything about the food was lovely
My room looked as if it as unoccupied for a while. The jacuzzi had hair when I turn it on hair was coming out
The food was great the staff was amazing the room was spacious and clean this this was my second stay Grand Palladium never disappoints me definitely recommend 👌
We ended up having three rooms while at this property. The very first room was so poor. The notation was a garden view however, it did not take into account that it was Garden view facing a white wall with traffic and construction about that. It wasn’t until our very last room where we seem to get a better while the facility itself is aged that last room allowed us to have a private pool just beyond our sliding doors and a complete view of the ocean.
In all honesty, I think the worst thing about this property has to be the staff. This seem to be this lack of interest, empathy, or overall positivity.. on our last day our flight was canceled due to snowstorm, even with that the staff was so disconnected could not offer any type of positive reinforcement or support. It was the same negative attitude from day 1. I say this not to expect a. Overwhelming thankfulness for visitors, however the acknowledgment of if it were not guest supporting the property. The staff would not be employed. There were a few people that I will mention that just went above and beyond when I pointed out scenarios that had occurred Justine with guest services, Andreka from the travel club , Shawna Kay from dining services & Edgar. When things appeared impossible, they bore witness to the disappointment and each played a role in trying to turn things around..
Tudo maravilhoso, lugar lindo
The people were great. The location is OK but much more desire for butter food is needed. Will how do you recommend to get the field menu up-to-date
Everyone we met at G.P. was friendly & very helpful. I'd like to thank all of the workers, but especially Rasheena Rigg at the front desk, Rajay MacLaren who helped us with our luggage, Abigail, who cleaned our room and Jessica Jones cleaning up at the pools, as well as all of the servers - in the restaurants & the bars. You all served everyone with a smile on your face, making us all feel welcome.
Rooms are fine but buffet runs out of food all the time. TV didn't work in the room and it took 3 days to fix it. Telephone in the room never worked . A la carte restaurants are generally good but reservation system is complicated. Restaurants ran out of decaf coffee ALL the time. Some amenities are old . Pool is nice and service was usually pretty good. Music by Stephanie in the Infinity Bar was EXCELLENT.
My girlfriends and I had an awesome Abb workout with Norman this morning. Very nice and fun gentleman. And the gym is beautiful and clean.
Second visit, will be our last. The bathroom and outside areas smelt of sewage. Staff only interested in guests they deem to be good tippers. Took 48 hours to get a shower cap. Was sent a warm bottle of sparkling wine, without an ice bucket or champagne flutes..
The facility was beautiful although still making repairs from the Hurricane. I believe that some repairs could be more of a priority, but I am not sure about the materials that are on hand. The staff is absolutely amazing and what made our stay so wonderful. We will be booking again in the near future and cannot wait to return.
never come back the worst experience in Jamaica I’ve ever had, after 17 years of coming to Jamaica this is the first place that made me feel. I never want to come back. This place is a trap that tries to sell you memberships to a place you don’t wanna come back to.
The service was amazing
I loved everything
We came to the resort from uk for the second time in December 2025. We was apprehensive about going not long after they had the terrible hurricane but we wanted to still go and show our support for the wonderful country and people. We had and even better time than the first and I didn’t think that was possible! The food the beach the staff everything about this resort is just luxury. The kids club staff made our holiday! Annakaye, Trizzle, Shaquana and Tashae were absolutely brilliant with our two sons especially our youngest paddy. Anyone who might be apprehensive like I was about leaving your child for an hour or so definitely shouldn’t be, I was sent WhatsApp updates why I was round the pool and photos. The resteraunts are all amazing quality and proper à la carte. Special shout out to the pool bar staff who made our afternoons so fun and entertained the kids with there cocktail making skills and balancing drinks on there head. Beaches are beautiful white sand and clear ocean. We will definitely be returning for a third time.
We would lose power about 10 times a day in our room. The pools were freezing off of our room. The food service was horrible buffets always empty in the room. The drain for water was so slow. Lockbox weren’t working. Had to call them four or five times. The resort is too big for the amount of staff to keep up with everything.
I didn’t hate it. But, food was fair at best. Closet had black mold in it. Deadbolt on door was broken.
3.5 star at best not 5 like they claim to be. WAY overpriced for what you get. Check-in was a nightmare. Take your own towels and facecloths because they seem to be a luxury not everyone gets to experience. If you have any mobility issues or don’t want to have to walk half a mile for a drink, then this isn’t the place for you. There are shuttles, but good luck getting one! Plan to spend alot of time waiting at the bar where most of the bartenders act like they hate their jobs, regardless if you tip or not. Don’t waste your money on the private pool room either because it’s ice cold!!! Buffet was mediocre. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I certainly wouldn’t go back. What a disappointment…especially for how much we spent here.
If you have time to wait and are a patient person, this is the place to choose. The price is not worth what you get in return. The entertainment is next to nothing, the food leaves you very unsatisfied as well the variety. Bottom line choose somewhere. People work too hard for their money and this is not worth it.
A beautiful and friendly resort, all the staff is wonderful and very helpful, love the vibe of staff everywhere on the resort
Our group of 180 guests from Ambush Fun in the Sun had an absolutely fabulous time at the Grand Palladium Jamaica. From start to finish, the resort exceeded expectations. The property is beautiful, the rooms were comfortable and well maintained, and the food offered excellent variety with something for everyone. The entertainment and activities kept our group engaged all week, and there was never a shortage of things to do. What truly stood out was the staff — friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to make our stay special. Managing a group of this size is no small task, yet everything ran smoothly, and our guests felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout the resort. We received overwhelmingly positive feedback from our travelers, and many are already talking about returning. Thank you, Grand Palladium Jamaica, for helping make this group trip such a memorable success! Thank you from Anita Milne and Chantal Tremblay of Gravitate Travel
First time to Jamaica. The resort is expansive. The pool is huge. There are a lot of bars and restaurants. Nightly entertainment was excellent.
It started when app did not work in England then despite requesting ground floor room (we'd book signature level bungalow) we were sent to Upper floor room and told to get the shuttle to our room! Not 5 star experience. It took two days to get the room we wanted. Every time it rained the hotel flooded. Can't get served at the bar Then reservation at restaurant confirmed on app was actually closed! Then after heavy rain our room flooded with sewage through the bath plug, toilet and shower and had to change room - no water in room. All in all not the standard we have come to expect from Grand Palladium. However food in restaurants very good.
We booked with group as it was our first trip to Jamaica, the Grand Pavillion was excellent from our arrival to the time we departed. The staff were exceptional, the food and bars were great the pool was great. The room was spacious and very clean, the housekeeping was exceptional.
We have weird experiences Spa staff are harassing main pool is freezing 2 beaches and 3 pools aren’t accessible Don’t recommanded
Great stay !!!! Amazing service, good food, the complex is beautiful. Recommended to families and adult escape.
This hotel is 4 star by its amenities and 95% of the staff! It is obvious it was and has been in disrepair and good management for years, the hurricane has finished it off
My overall experience was amazing this was my second time visiting grand palladium. And i will definitely be back a third time.
The breakfast was great
It would have been nice to have an elevator takes on the second floor with our luggage to our roons
Great time to go as resort is very quiet and we enjoyed our relaxing week. Jerk chicken available daily around the pool and beach. Lovely area to snorkel and we brought out own including much needed water shoes. Beautiful coffee lounge. Wasn’t interested in the travel club and didn’t sign up for the free gift. Been her twice now and would return.
The air was impure. For four days straight, raw sewage was what I inhaled. Visitors also smoked openly. These factors resulted in me picking up a bug and I became very sick by day four at the hotel. Along side this on the day of check out, the telephone at the front desk gave all of us a busy signal. We could not get a shuttle. We had to walk, some of us for fifteen minutes, with our luggage, not a shuttle or bell hop were seen during our journey. This move was deliberate and we made sure to inform front desk of this Machiavellian move. The smoking policy needs to be adjusted. Additionally, the stench of raw sewage needs to be addressed. I have no intention of visiting again.
The hotel was lovely and clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the facilities were great. We upgraded to signature level which was really worth it for us, the rooms and views were spacious and clean, with lovely amenities. The upgraded drink options were great, we could book restaurants on the app in advance and we could use the adults only pool and beach. The staff in the Signature areas really made our holiday, the bar staff in the lounge and Coral bar ( especially Kevon, Mario and Romaine) were fantastic and always took great care of us (there were 2 other colleagues who were also great but we didn't catch their names), the staff on the concierge were amazing! always friendly and so quick to help us with anything we needed, every time we needed them they were happy to help, and finally Eroll who cleaned the pool and the lady who cleaned the beach every day both did fantastic jobs and ensured the area was spotless every morning ready for guests. We would highly recommend the Signature level at the hotel and want to thank the staff for such a wonderful experience.
Had a wonderful, relaxing g first vacation to Jamaica. Will definitely be back. Great food, service, friendly people.
I can’t say how wonderful the whole staff was throughout the entire trip. Kind, accommodating, and patient.
Just want to say how amazing all of the staff were here. They made us feel so welcome and the kids club, wow, my daughter Ariella never wanted to leave them. Huge thankyou to all of the staff Tashee and Shaquana and the rest!! You were incredible and all of the activities, especially building confidence for them to perform on stage - highlight of our daughter’s holiday. We were so proud of her. The pools are fabulous and we really enjoyed our stay. Big thank you. Adele, Dan and Ariella xx
The people of Jamaica are resilient and warm. After a rough year, we really needed some R&R and GPJ delivered. While there were a few hiccups, the staff try really hard to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. Highlights include the Indian a la carte (EVERYTHING was delicious), lobster at the buffet and the passion fruit danish at the cafe. The resort and beach are secluded. No foot traffic walking by means the location is secure and no one is selling you things. If you are going to Jamaica and are able, they still need supplies (school supplies, feminine hygiene etc), Carine at the front desk make distributing these things very easy. Thank you GPJ.
The good of this Resort is it’s absolutely beautiful even post hurricane. Construction to repair the resort is happening but that didn’t change the beauty of this place. Been to many other resorts in the past and I personally believe that this is the most beautiful resort I have been to! The housekeeping staff was absolutely amazing in building 33 as well! Now onto why I’m leaving a 2 star review. The food was not that great in my opinion. Dry chicken, dry pork and dry desserts to start off. Ordered 4 tuna sashimi at the Asian restaurant and received 4 pieces of sashimi and the fish was brown and smelled fishy. The drinks were subpar to other resorts I have been to in the past such with that being alcohol content being way too much or not any at all to drinks not tasting like how they should at all. Poolside waiting staff would somehow disappear after 1pm and wouldn’t see them the rest of the day. It would also seem like most of the staff didn’t want to be there at all and wouldn’t absolutely show it towards guests. Went to the sports bar one night and walked up to the bar and asked for a simple red stripe beer, bartender acted like it was a chore to do his job then turned around to a beer that was 3/4’s full sitting beside him and filled it up and handed it to me. Many buffet waiting staff would get visibly irritated with drink requests as well. I’m honestly probably missing a lot more on this review but just wanted to express the things that irritated me the most. I personally would not recommend going to this resort for anybody but would highly recommend someone to go to Jamaica just because of how beautiful this island is!
The hotel was amazing especially considering the hurricane! Staff were friendly! The buffet food was great and the restaurants were even better!
Firstly we had to be changed rooms from the lady Hamilton side which was sad but the room we went to was nice but without a sea view but apart from this my experience was amazing enjoyed the trip the whole way through mabye more evening acts would be nice for adults
We had a vacation scheduled to this resort for November 2025. The hurricane in Jamaica hit and we canceled the vacation weeks before our scheduled dates, obviously because of the hurricane. We were told upon cancellation that we would be refunded our deposit. It has been two months since and we still have not been refunded our deposit. We have called every number we can find and all they do is to tell us to email all these different emails. We have emailed multiple people and nobody seems to be able to process our refund. This would be understandable if the head of financials for this hotel group was located in Jamaica and they were still recovering from the hurricane however, the head of this group is located in Spain and therefore has no excuse. We will not be booking with them again as customer service is super hard to work with

What guests love
Areas to consider
Cleanliness
7.8/10Mostly praised as clean and well maintained by many guests, though isolated issues reported (stained bath, a room smelling of sewer) lowered confidence for some.
Service
8.2/10Staff repeatedly described as attentive, friendly and warm; multiple compliments for customer-facing teams. Some negative reports about slow responses (long check-in, delayed room fixes) and occasional poor handling of specific incidents.
Location
8/10Beach, pools and general resort setting were frequently praised. Some guests noted rooms were far from pools/restaurants and transfer service to rooms was poor.
Room Quality
7.2/10Many rooms described as clean and spacious, but several guests reported maintenance problems (blocked door, stained bath), dated rooms in need of renovation, and delays at check-in affecting room availability.
Amenities
7/10Good family amenities such as pools, kids' slide and kids' club were highlighted; however, repeated reports of non-working elevators and limited entertainment in bad weather reduced the perceived amenity quality.
Value for Money
7.4/10Mixed perceptions: many guests felt the overall resort experience justified the price, while others pointed to limited food options, additional service shortfalls and transfer issues as detractors from value.
Food and Beverage
6.8/10Food received mixed to negative feedback: some praised breakfast items, fruits and omelets, but multiple guests noted limited choices, poor vegan handling (shared oil) and other service lapses (e.g., lack of straws).
Overall Experience
8.4/10Overall sentiment leans positive with many guests calling their stays wonderful and praising staff and facilities; service lapses, maintenance issues and food limitations tempered some stays.
Unparalleled Caribbean views from the resort’s oceanfront location, ideal for sunsets and tranquil escapes.
Over 10 dining venues including Italian and Asian flavors for varied culinary experiences.
Kids club, miniature golf, and engaging entertainment provide options for guests of all ages.
