First and foremost very friendly staff most welcoming staff and the place was absolutely clean and awesome

Their breakfast is very limited for Garden Court they should have a variety because the Durban Garden Court has a very nice range they should consider more options but otherwise all is well

The property itself is very nice and was central for what we travelled to Kimberly for.

We drove more than 1000km from Cape Town. We booked 2 smoking rooms a month in advance and paid before arrival. Upon arrival after a really long drive we were told that one of the rooms we booked was no longer available. They gave it to people who had arrived on the 1st September. How they give a reserved room away to someone that books after, I have no idea. The manager promised that he would get us the room we booked the following day. Specifically using the word “promise”. The following day he was no where to be seen and once again we were told by his staff that there was no such promised room available. On the very last night of our stay we get a call from reception asking if we satisfied with our room and if they can offer us a bottle of “water” for the inconvenience. What a joke. Never again.

The staff is very friendly and the room was very clean, beds were comfortable. All in all Garden Court is wonderful and I would stay there again when I visit Kimberly.

The location of hotel.

The carpets in the rooms and hallways were very dirty. The ceiling in room 319 also had stains. Was very dissapointed when the staff started packing up the breakfast while my family and I where still busy eating and this was around 09:30 and it is said breakfast is until 11:00am. We are regular customers and this was the first that I experienced this.

Matt didn't smell pleasant, there was cigarettes smoke although management denied smoking in that area

The Spur restaurant is a bonus. The breakfast was great.

No spoons available in room or at breakfast. Have to use wooden sticks. Aircon is outdated in rooms and very loud. Booked a family room but only received 2 towels. Shower splashes everywhere.

The Housekeeping Staff. Please to change their behaviour and respect clients. Not to knock and to open the door early in the morning while we are sleeping.

there is no play area for kids and you cant count the one of spur , there is actually nothing. i was at the gym with my kids a worker came in without greating and than go and tell the security that i am in the gym with my kids to ask me to leavea lady worker stop me for a muffin that i what to take out to eat. that was bad taste. i paid a lot of money to stay just to be stopped for a muffin.

There was no small fridge in the room. also i booked a family room but there was just enough tea and coffee and cups for two people. also just 2 towels for 4 people. the room also smelled like smoke.

The facilities are old, grime in the bathroom, small shower/bath.

Manager vamule was really nice and helpful. Him and his crew had our backs through out the stay. Breakfast and staffs were really nice

Still using The old type Air-conditioner, the room was very hot, they need to upgrade their shower / bathrooms

Es gab ein Steakhouse direkt im Haus, Einigermaßen gutes Frühstück und es war ein Pool vorhanden. Gemütliche Betten.

Extrem laute Klimaanlage, die zudem noch nicht einmal genug gekühlt hat. Kühlschrank nur auf Anfrage.

The room defuser in the foyer was too much and there was no refrigerator in our rooms as it was very hot .

Taking a cold shower when it was extremely cold Water was super cold . I was told the heat pump is frozen. Pls sort this out especially because it’s winter season now

The big buffet breakfast was super, and my teenage sons certainly made the most of it! It was varied, tasty and filling. The pool was sparkling and warm, and a welcome relief after nearly seven hours in a hot car. The staff were very friendly and warm.

We were very satisfied and happy with our stay - while not everything was absolutely perfect, we did not 'not like' anything in particular.

We liked the service and the staff. The convenience of the Spur inside the hotel was fantastic. They packed us breakfast to go due to us leaving early, that was great. We appreciated that.

The pillows were not comfortable. The aircons didnt really work. The shower was spraying everywhere ( this was reported to reception ).

The breakfast was excellent and the staff was friendly. It was my second stay at this property and the standard remained the same. Children were happy Thank you

We must get our luggage from the parking lot to the room.

Everything was great. The swimming pool, the dining area and the place itself. Very clean.

All was good. Just wish the air condition position could be changed from the window to more central position. When it’s too hot the effect of the air condition is not felt much.

Loved the facility

The hotel was clean, safe and the staff very helpful and friendly.

The room was only prepared for 2 guests although we were 4. Ie cups and towels. But not a major problem.

Very big rooms and comfortable,the staff was friendly and they waited for us to arrive as we arrive very late.they made sure we gonna get a good night's rest 😀

Value for money is unmatched.

It’s a little dated, and no fridge in the rooms. But honestly; those things are completely irrelevant at the price, and considering the whole experience.

Handy to have a restaurant on site

I enjoyed the the swimming pool, aircon and wifi.

1.The bathroom was very smelly and the smell was nauseating. As if someone had thrown up in there and then the bathroom wasn't properly disinfected. 2. Youre forced to watch really nice old school english movies in isizulu, a language I dont speak or understand and when I ask the hotel to change the settings if possible, they said they would assist but nobody came. 3. Ice machine doesn't have a ice bucket option which sucks because Kimberley is blazing hot during this time and the room didn't have a fridge. 4. Family rooms with a good view are limited to only two of them on the first floor. 5. There's no room service 6. Most channels on the tv are not clear 7. They don't have nice kids channels, its only e tv of which is so outdated and boring
