We were welcomed by Mr. Erhan, an exceptional person, super helpful and welcoming, with the highest resolution of every problem, perfect hotel to see all of Istambul on foot and with plenty of places to eat!

I booked this hotel for my parents and relatives. Receptionists helped a lot to meet them at the airport and to organise a tour around the city 🙌🏻 Amazing service. Thank you soooo much! Great view from the rooftop 🤗

Odamız ve yataklar çok rahat ve temizdi. Biz üç kisilik oda rezervasyonu vermiştik, ama bizim için büyük bir aile odası ayarlanmisti. Otelin bulunduğu yer harika, her yere yakin. Çalışanların guleryuzu ve yardımseverligi. Özellikle Erhan bey çok ilgili ve alakaliydi. Kahvaltı çok çeşitli ve güzeldi. Biz çok memnun kaldık.

The majority of the staff spoke English which was great. Erhan the breakfast manager was excellent, warm and welcoming every morning with a personal touch and there was a good range of breakfast items. The hotel was very clean and room service was also excellent.

The location was perfect... only a few blocks from the main attractions. Many, many restaurants and much shopping. The breakfast was huge, so many selections. It was all very fresh and Very local. Nothing Americanized. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. Erhan who worked the breakfast was very friendly. The rooftop restaurant had the best view and amazing food. The humus and bread were delicious. Bidets on the toilets were great!

We were booked into a standard room. After seeing it, I asked if we could upgrade. We moved to a balcony room with a fabulous view of the Bosphorus . The additional cost was worth it. No wash cloths - hard to remove makeup?

Mentiuni speciale pentru tura de la receptie din dupamiaza de 2 septembrie (seara), cand ne am cazat, care ne au ajutat ultra rapid cu oferta pentru croaziera de noapte pe Bosfor care a fost magnifica. De asemenea, dl. Erhan care a fost foarte amabil in prima parte a fiecarei zile pe parte de breakfast. O sa revenim!

Near to most of the places we wanted to visit. The staff were super friendly and helpful in any situation including when we need a fridge for a cake.

The breakfast was not that great as its missed variety and Turkish tea was just tea bag in a pot and coffee was diabolical.

La ubicación muy cerca para ir caminando hasta la mezquita azul, Santa Sofía ...la calle eran hoteles, terrazas y alguna tienda. Qué la Terraza de la azotea estaba abierta hasta las 2 de la mañana. Personal muy amable.

Mi estancia en el hotel fue perfecta gracias al personal que atendía tanto la recepción, como el servicio de desayuno y el servicio de limpieza de habitaciones. Especial mención al trato y ayuda recibida en todo momento por Erhan en el servicio de desayuno, todo un profesional. El hotel es ideal por sus instalaciones y por la ubicación a un paseo de 5 minutos de la plaza de Sultanahmet, Mezquita Azul, Palacio Topkapi, Santa Sofia. Además de disponer de la línea de tranvía T1 muy cerca, lo cual te permite llegar fácilmente a otros sitios de esa ciudad mágica, hospitalaria y maravillosa que es Estambul o enlazar con otros servicios de transportes como los ferris por el Bósforo y por el Cuerno de Oro.

Hotelul este compus din mai multe clădiri, foarte înghesuite între ele. Camerele cu „vedere la oraș” au, de fapt, vedere la un perete plin de aparate de aer condiționat. Curățenia se făcea zilnic în cameră, dar degeaba, dacă mopul și cârpa transportau părul din alte camere. Hotelul este foarte greu accesibil pentru taxiuri. Zona de mic dejun este, de asemenea, foarte înghesuită și nu aveai suficient loc pentru a mânca în condiții confortabile. Mobilierul este învechit, iar parchetul este foarte tocit și zgâriat. Din punctul meu de vedere, hotelul nu își merită banii.

Very good location. Had a wonderful breakfast and received excellent service from Mr. Erhan, who was very kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. Highly recommended!

Location of the hotel

All the corridors had damp spell. All the rooms had mounds.

I had two rooms. The first was on the top floor and, since it was August, was a quite hot. And even seems older than the second one . The staff was very kind and help me changing the room. In general they are polite.

In my opinion the room of the breakfast room without windows is a bit heavy. Maybe more light colors are better. Anyway no probs with the breakfast itself that was good.

The hotel is in a great location, with many of the main attractions just a 5-minute walk away, and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Erhan and all the staff were very welcoming, friendly, approachable, and helpful, always making sure everything was okay. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Η πρώτη μας επίσκεψη στην Κωνσταντινούπολη ήταν υπέροχη χάρη στο ξενοδοχείο! Η τοποθεσία είναι ιδανική, μόλις 2 λεπτά από την Αγία Σοφία, με μαγαζιά, μίνι μάρκετ και στάσεις συγκοινωνίας ακριβώς δίπλα, γεγονός που μας διευκόλυνε πολύ στις μετακινήσεις μας. Το προσωπικό στη ρεσεψιόν ήταν ευγενέστατο και εξαιρετικά εξυπηρετικό σε ό,τι χρειαστήκαμε. ​Το δωμάτιο ήταν άνετο, πεντακάθαρο και προσεγμένο στη λεπτομέρεια καθημερινά. Τα κορίτσια στην καθαριότητα κάνουν εξαιρετική δουλειά! Το πρωινό ήταν πλούσιο και πολύ νόστιμο. Ιδιαίτερες ευχαριστίες στον manager του πρωινού, τον Erhan, για το χαμόγελο και το καθημερινό του ενδιαφέρον, αλλά και σε όλο το προσωπικό για τη θερμή φιλοξενία. ​Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα και θα το επιλέξουμε σίγουρα ξανά!

Prime location. Appreciative and exceptionally friendly staff. Reasonably large room and comfy bed. Special thanks to FD manager Mr. Oktay Kaya who took personal care of my stay and went beyond every expectation in accommodating every my request and making my stay truly joyful. Hint for future travelers: go for a sea view and balcony room, not standard. Upgrade will be worth every penny spent. View is amazing. Same applies to the roof-top restaurant. Wonderful vistas to the sea and picturesque views to the old City while you enjoy your excellent meal and drinks. The hotel is very recommended for budget-conscious travelers on a short city break

Small nuisances of a somewhat older hotel premises were way overweight by overall very positive experience. So nothing to dislike, really.

Emplacement stratégique pour visiter la majorité des zones et sites historiques emblématiques de la ville, Hôtel très propre avec des chambres spacieuses, déjeuner copieux. Personnel agréable et très serviable. mention spéciale à "Erhan" de l'équipe restaurant au déjeuner, il n'a épargné aucun effort pour répondre à nos demandes, merci bcp pour la petite surprise pour fêter l'anniversaire d'un ami.

Servicio excepcional y de una calidad humana increíble gracias a Erhan Estuve alojada aquí y me puse enferma durante mi estancia. No tengo palabras suficientes de agradecimiento para Erhan, el encargado del desayuno. Se preocupó muchísimo por mí, me consiguió yogur que ni siquiera estaba en el buffet y, como era domingo y las farmacias estaban cerradas, estuvo llamando una a una hasta encontrar una abierta y ponernos la dirección exacta en Google Maps. Un trato impecable, empático y atento que hizo toda la diferencia. ¡Muchísimas gracias, Erhan!

El hotel está muy viejo, sé que es algo común en el barrio de Fatih pero, a diferencia de otros hoteles cercanos en los que me he alojado, no funcionaba el aire acondicionado y la habitación se veía muy antigua y angosta (además de relativamente sucia). Si tienes la misma mala suerte que yo, te mandan a un edificio anexo al que se accede por varios tramos de escaleras sin ascensor y atravesando el comedor, las cocinas y una zona de fumadores. Si fuera destacadamente barato podría ser un hotel a tener en cuenta, pero no es el caso.

Der Empfang war sehr nett und herzlich. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt – die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Besonders beeindruckend war der wunderschöne Blick auf das Meer. Die Dachterrasse ist einfach fantastisch und bietet einen unbeschreiblichen Blick über Istanbul. Ein ganz großes Lob geht auch an das Frühstück: Es war sehr reichhaltig und ließ keine Wünsche offen.

Didn't actually stay as the hotel/Booking.com cancelled our booking when we were half way through an 11 hour flight to Istanbul, my rating is based on my interaction with a guy on the front desk who answered the phone, and not on the facilities, will be surprisedif Booking.compost it! Our booking was a pay at property, however, the hotel/Booking.com decided to take it early, and according to Booking.com it was the hotel that requested the payment? As it was a pay upon arrival our Credit Card company put a hold on the payment, subsequently the booking was cancelled which we found upon landing in Istanbul, I contacted Booking.com and was informed the hotel tried to take the payment early and when they couldn't the booking was cancelled, when I called the hotel, the guy on the phone was very unhelpful, ignorant, belligerent and extremely rude, he blamed Booking.com, but when I said our payment was due on arrival at the hotel he became pretty irate, I asked if we could rebook as we were stranded at the airport with no accommodation, he said there was nothing he could do and there was no availability, then he just hung up! We have travelled far and wide, and this experience was by far one of the worst interactions we have had with someone supposedly in the hospitality sector.

Hotel attitude during a call, dismissive, aggressive, unhelpful and ignorant, informed him that we were now stranded at the airport with no accommodation he just hung up!

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel a Istanbul e sono rimasta molto contenta. La struttura è molto accogliente, le camere sono pulite e confortevoli e tutto è curato con attenzione. Lo staff è stato davvero gentile, disponibile e sempre pronto ad aiutare. La posizione è fantastica: l’hotel si trova vicino alla Moschea Blu, a Santa Sofia e alla Cisterna Basilica, quindi è perfetto per visitare le principali attrazioni di Istanbul anche a piedi. Sono stata davvero soddisfatta del mio soggiorno e lo consiglio sicuramente a chi vuole trascorrere qualche giorno a Istanbul in una posizione comoda e in un ambiente accogliente. Ci tornerei volentieri!

That being said, there were a few positive points. Erhan Abi, who welcomed guests during breakfast, was exceptionally kind, friendly, and professional. I would also like to thank the staff member who first welcomed us and helped with our luggage upon arrival I unfortunately do not remember his name, but he was genuinely helpful and respectful. The hotel’s location, close to the historical attractions, is also a major advantage.

I am writing this review because unfortunately I was very disappointed with my stay. First of all, when checking out, I was asked to pay an additional 257 TL without any clear explanation. I was told it was for service, but I had already paid everything through the booking website. I did not use any extra services apart from one drink, which was already included in the breakdown I provided. Even the taxi had been paid separately in cash directly to the driver. To this day, I still do not understand where this 257 TL charge came from. I did not want to argue or make a scene, especially since we were three women traveling together, so I decided not to pursue the matter further. As for the room, the view was honestly terrible. The balcony overlooked an area filled with rubbish and waste below, partially blocked by a roof, and the neighboring terraces were almost attached to one another, offering very little privacy. The only pleasant aspect was the cats that occasionally came by, but even they were chased away by the staff. I should also mention that the elevator was located directly next to my room door, meaning I could constantly hear people going up and down. On top of that, the kitchens were located right below the room, making it difficult to rest properly due to the noise. The room itself was decent, but the location of it was far from ideal. Another disappointing experience happened on the terrace restaurant. I wanted to choose my own table, but I was refused because I was told that a group of 19 people would be arriving soon. We stayed there for around 1 hour and 30 minutes, and nobody came. Even after finishing our tea, there was still no sign of this group. I found this attitude quite frustrating and unnecessary. What is most disappointing is the feeling that not all guests are treated equally. Some visitors may have had a wonderful experience, but I personally felt that foreigners were treated differently.

Thank you to Erhan for making me feel so welcomed and comfortable whenever I stay. He is always smiling, very attentive and friendly, and always makes nice conversation and gives great advice about Istanbul. It's the third time I've stayed at this hotel in Istanbul and it feels like a second home. The facilities are clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food at breakfast is great.

Our stay at this hotel was an absolute nightmare. We couldn’t even stay for one night because of how terrible the experience was. The customer service was extremely poor from the moment we arrived. We were given the wrong room, and the staff showed little interest in resolving the issue. The room itself had a strong, unpleasant smell, and the corridors smelled like a gutter, making the whole hotel feel dirty and unhygienic. The bathroom was in a horrible condition and was nowhere near the standard you would expect from a hotel. Overall, the cleanliness, service, and facilities were completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your money and book somewhere else if you want a comfortable and stress-free stay.

Das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich, leckeres Obst und türkische Speisen, Kaffee etwas dünn, aber okay. Besonders freundlicher Empfang und netter smalltalk mit dem sympathischen Erhan. Lage war ebenfalls sehr gut, wichtige Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Alles andere ist gut mit der T1 erreichbar. Außerdem sind kleine Supermärkte für kalte Getränke und Snacks unmittelbar neben dem Hoteleingang.

Desde el lobby hasta los chicos del resto y Bar que es espectacular para tomar o cenar mirando el Bosforo Una mención especial a Erham que nos esperaba en el desayuno con una sonrisa y atento a lo que necesitabas. Muchas gracias a todo el staff por hacernos sentir como en casa.

El personal es una maravilla, siempre pendientes de poder ayudar. Especialmente darle las gracias a Ehran por hacernos el desayuno tan cómodo por estar toda la familia junta, hasta le hizo un regalito a nuestra hija. Muchas gracias a todos!

El tamaño de la habitación era bastante pequeño.

TUtto perfetto. Staff gentilissimo e colazione fantastica. L' hotel si trova nella miglior posizione per raggiungere i monumenti storici e la Piazza dell' Ippodromo a piedi. E' dotato di ascensore e questo non e' scontato nei centri storici. Tutto intorno all' hotel ci sono ristoranti e negozietti. La metropolitana di Cankurtaran è a pochi minuti.La camera viene rifatta ogni giorno e ti lasciano ogni giorno biancheria pulita e una bottiglia grande a testa di acqua.La terrazza ristorante ( 2 per la verità, una coperta e una scopetta) offre un panorama eccezionale, unico, sul Bosforo. Il buffet x la colazione è davvero strepitoso, da lasciarci gli occhi! Anche se in Turchia il salato prevale sul dolce, per i golosi era anche disponibile grande vaso di Nutella, oltre a torte e dolcetti turchi. Il caposala, Erhan ha un' attenzione per gli ospiti che raramente di trova, ma tutti i ragazzi della sala breakfast sono attentissimi. Al nostro arrivo ci ha accolto Shaĥnoza, una dolcissima ragazza che si è messa da subito a disposizione, anche per i giorni successivi, e ci ha offerto cay, caffè e tisane. Tutto il personale è gentilissimo e disponibile in ogni momento, ci hanno aiutato con le valigie, sia all" arrivo che alla partenza, e ci hanno organizzato il transfer per l' aeroporto, dopo averci salutati con cay e caffè. Una particolare menzione va al Signor Oktaybey e al Signor Enes, per la disponibilità e tutti i suggerimenti forniti.Tutti voi avete reso il nostro soggiorno fantastico. Davvero non avremmo potuto chiedere di piu'. Consiglio vivamente questo hotel, ci tornerò!! ( A chi si è lamentato per il rumore proveniente dalla strada, ricordo ghe siamo in pieno centro storico....comunque le stanze sono perfettamente insonorizzate ed è sufficiente chiudere la finestra!

Hotel se nalazi u centru grada u neposrednoj blizini gradskih znamenitosti. Sve što vam je potrebno može se pronaći na pješačkoj udaljenosti: trgovine, suvenirnice, barovi, javni prijevoz itd. Iz rooftop bara se pruža divan pogled na grad. Osoblje je jako simpatično i uslužno, uvijek na raspolaganju za prijedloge i pomoć.

Sobe su manje i starije nego što izgledaju na fotografijama. Zvučna izolacija bi mogla biti bolja. Doručak je osrednji: količina je zadovoljavajuća ali ponuda i kvaliteta hrane i pića bi trebala biti bolja.

The location was good, but it was in a tourist area, and the restaurant staff on the streets were very pushy. But the hotel staff were very friendly and polite.

Close location to all attractions and amazing breakfast. We wanted to order food from an app on our last night but did not have a Turkish number. The staff went an extra mile and ordered using his phone for us. Room was also serviced everyday.

Room was compact with no balcony. Wifi was not working well. Cot was not provided in room, even though requested at booking time. Room is not noise proof. Could hear people from the other room and noise from below.

Ótima localização, no coração do centro antigo, com acesso a pé a quase todos os pontos turísticos e restaurantes. Café da manhã bastante variado e funcionários muito educados e solícitos.

Good central location. Hotel is okay - definitely get a Seaview room as the road side is very noisy with no double glazing. However, the views and service at the Rooftop bar and restaurant were the stand out.

Older property. No double glazing so noisy is on road side (Seaview side is much nicer). Breakfast is not good
