Nice location on a quiet street

Reception staff helpful, good breakfast , comfortable room

Schönes, geräumiges Zimmer mit bequemem Bett und in guter Lage.

Leider ist am Tag der Abreise die Schranktüre mit Spiegel des Kleiderschranks aus der Angel gebrochen und meinem Mann auf das Schienbein gefallen- die Reaktion an der Rezeption diesbezüglich war eher unpassend.

La ubicación es perfecta para disfrutar de la zona histórica de Napoli, todo lo que hay que ver está alrededor, y a la vez está en un calle tranquila. Las instalaciones estas muy cuidadas y con una decoración muy acogedora. Muy recomendable.

La colazione è stata molto soddisfacente e il personale cordiale e preparato ad ogni nostra richiesta.

Se mi posso permettere qualche consiglio, metterei delle ciotole vicine anche allo yogurt greco per evitare di fare il giro del tavolo. Quando rifornite i succhi non è bello vedere il personale con il fustino che riempie i dispenser anche perchè si vede che non sono spremute naturali. Quando la stanza è per 3/4 ospiti, nel bagno metterei almeno 3/4 ganci per appendere il telo bagno.

Chambre très confortable. Très bon petit déjeuner qui était servi dans une très belle salle. Hotel bien situé et personnel très sympathique.

First and foremost it was clean but with no synthetic fragrance odors. The air quality was very good and I couldn’t detect any strong scents. I enjoyed the great breakfast and the staff were kind, courteous, and happy to help!

La stanza ampia ed isonorizzata, bagno pulito e comodo, letto molto ampio Colazione in un salone mlto bello, personale gentile e disponibile, molto pulito , cibo abbondante e di buona qualità. Parcheggio non in albergo ma molto vicino. Posizione veramente ottima per girare a piedi.

L'impianto di aria condizionata è stato difficile da gestire, troppo freddo o troppo caldo, funzionamento on/off un pò rumoroso e fastidioso. Il vicolo di accesso è veramente un vicolo di napoli, ma appena dentro l'albergo è molto bello. genere molto classico, ma picevole.

The location is marginal part of town , but if you give it a few years it will be great. The location area is being renovated and updated by developers because it does have these great historical buildings

Magiskt vacker sal där man åt frukost som var toppen. På eftermiddagen förvandlades den till bar. Hotellrummet var perfekt i storlek och design. Vårt rum låg nära en härlig ute terass där vi satt och läste böcker.

- Great location in the city center - Friendly and helpful staff - Some people mention in their reviews that the street is sketchy and full of graffitis, that is true but it feels safe enough for a solo woman traveller

- Poor housekeeping - there was black mold in the bathroom, even on the wall, an issue for me being allergic to mold - missing fixtures in the bedroom - not what I expect from a 4star property - we were two adults and one 4 year old child - which was disclosed by us at booking - in what world they think that these railings with huge gaps are suitable for a family with a young child (the fact that the room would be split level was not apparent upon booking)

The hotel is an old palace fully refurbished to operate as an hotel. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is exquisite and served in a beautiful room on the second floor (third floor for Americans), which also doubles as a bar in the late afternoon/evening. The staff is super friendly. We absolutely loved it here.

Tout était merveilleux, de l’accueil au petit-déjeuner remarquable, la chambre spacieuse et haute de plafond, avec un balcon donnant sur la cour.

Seul bémol: nous avions une chambre pour trois mais le troisième lit était un lit d’appoint, sans table de nuit ni lumière.

Le parking était un parking public situé dans une ZLT donc accessible uniquement en payant une amende Le balcon était un balcon commun et non un balcon privatif

The hotel is so charming, an oasis in a laneway covered in graffiti. The hotel is old world charm particularly the breakfast room quick is spectacular. The breakfast was good enough with the best tasting biscuit/pastries in Naples! The actual room is a little small but has all you need and a balcony is a bonus. It is a little rustic to be sure, and I found it odd that they didn't have soap or conditioner, but we made do with the liquid shower get and shampoo.

Das Zimmer war sehr dunkel, zu wenig Beleuchtung, die Duschwand in der Badewanne war viel zu klein, sodass man beim Duschen ständig aufpassen musste, nicht das ganze Bad nass zu machen. Es gab im Bad viel zu wenig Ablagen und keine Kosmetiktücher. Der einzige Schrank ließ sich nicht öffnen, sodass wir unsere Sachen nicht aufhängen konnten. Alles insgesamt war es kein 4 Sterne Hotel.

Ystävällinen henkilökunta vastaanotossa ja aamiaisella. Aamupala oli hyvä. Huoneet olivat tilavat ja viihtyisät sekä hyvin varustellut.

Aamulla henkilökunta keskusteli äänekkäästi käytävällä kun yritimme nukkua, tämä kuului huoneeseen häiritsevästi.

Personnel exceptionnellement compétent et disponible. Nous avons été dans une partie récemment rénovée de ce grand bâtiment un peu alambiqué. Travail impeccable et fonctionnel.

The Staff at Decumani Hotel De Charme are terrific: warm , patient and very helpful to non Italian speakers like me. What a great introduction to Naples!

Komplizierte Abrechnung, nur Aufzug zum Zimmer, keine Treppen... Qualität des Angebots beim Frühstück sehr wechselhaft, Teewasser nur Lauwarm

L' accuratezza di ogni ambiente e la qualità del cotone delle lenzuola. Stanza di respiro con mobili di pregio pur non avendo scelto una " suite " . Personale impeccabile nei modi e nella cura del dress code, attento e gentile anche negli imprevisti . Ambiente elegante senza eccessi , sontuosa la sala " imperiale " antica e fresca nell'arredo. Posizione strategica di questa rara perla di Hotel : collocato in un palazzo ben mimetizzato nel quartiere dei graffiti e delle pietre grige.

Avrei migliorato il lounge bar serale con possibilità di apericena

De prachtige eetzaal, het vriendelijke personeel en het ontbijt met heerlijke cappuccino’s. Bovendien is de locatie ideaal centraal gelegen in de mooie historische binnenstad. En onze prachtige 3 persoonskamer met trap naar masterbedroom en badkamer. Ideaal voor ouders met kind.

If your aim is to explore the messy vibrancy of the old quarter, then this is a good option. It sits down a quiet side alley, just a short walk from one of the main shopping streets and the cloister of Santa Chiara, one of the treasures of Naples. The hotel is decent and the staff are friendly. The dining hall is as magnificent as in their pictures. The air conditioning works!

The old quarter can be a shock if you are not prepared - narrow alleys, graffiti and rubbish everywhere. Neither the transfer to or from the hotel could get to the front door, so we had to walk the last 20m up the sort of alley I would not normally walk into but is simply a normal side street in the old quarter. The hotel itself was perfectly nice with friendly staff and decent rooms - but somehow it didn't quite hit the spot for me. Maybe that is not entirely fair, as this was all part and parcel of the messy, vibrant, chaotic vibe that is the old quarter. An ancient crumbling city, still bursting with life.

Excellent location inside the old city. Attentive service. Wonderful breakfast.

Ottima colazione con personale gentile, la zona è folcloristica immediatamente al esterno della parte più turistica dei quartieri spagnoli. L ingresso non è da grande hotel ma la parte interna è molto carina e gradevole. Parcheggio comodissimo a 50 metri dall albergo che rilascia permesso accesso al centro.

Very central location with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Very lively street life in the area but quiet around the hotel itself. The hotel is very well maintained and the breakfast room is spectacular!

Emplacement dans une rue sale et difficile d’accès

Der auf vielen Hotel-Fotos abgebildete Frühstücksraum ist optisch mega toll! Die Lage - wenn man ganz besonders auf die historische (aber sehr heruntergekommene) Altstadt steht - ist auch perfekt. Die Altstadt selbst, muss aber jemanden gefallen, weil vom Hotel zB. in den Stadtteil Santa Lucia zu kommen, geht fast nicht ohne Taxi (und die verlangen was sie wollen - zB 25 € für 4 km). Die Zimmer sind sauber, aber doch sehr klein - besonders das Bad und die Dusche waren eine Herausforderung. Die kleine Gasse wo das Hotel liegt ist auch nachts sehr ruhig gewesen. Die Haupt-Touristenstrasse der Altstadt (Spaccanapoli) ist vom Hotel ca. 200 Meter entfernt. Zur lagen Shopping-Fußgängerzone sind es ca. 15 Minuten durch die engen Altstadtgassen.

Die Lage ist gut, aber dann doch nicht so praktisch - weil es Richtung Meer eine schönere Gegend gibt, als die total Graffiti verschmierte Altstadt.

I loved this hotel.

Die Lage in der Altstadt von Neapel ist sehr gut, kurze Wege durch die Gasse, viele Restaurants uns Bars. Parkmöglichkeit fürs Auto 100m entfernt. Der Frühstücksraum ist wunderbar restauriert und verströmt ein Palazzo Flair. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer funktionierte sehr gut und hat beim Schlafen nicht gestört.

Das Zimmer im 2. OG hatte fast kein Tageslicht und die Matratzen waren eher Futons. Keine Möglichkeiten etwas aufzuhängen.

Top Lage. Super Frühstückssaal.

Schlechter Kaffee zum Frühstück. Wird mit verbrannten Bohnen zubereitet. Ist in Italien nicht nötig. Kaufen Sie bitte gute Bohnen und eine vernünftige Kaffeemaschine. Die Duschen im Badezimmer brauchen dringend eine Renovierung. Sie lassen sich nicht mehr richtig reinigen. Es gibt alte Ablagerungen. Mehr moderne Steckdosen wären hilfreich, mit USB und USB-C. Angesichts des hohen Preises wären dies angemessene Verbesserungen. Es fehlt zudem die Möglichkeit aus den oberen Stockwerken über eine Treppe direkt zum Ausgang zu gelangen. Das ist bisher nur mit dem Fahrstuhl möglich. Es soll zwar für den Notfall eine Feuertreppe geben, jedoch ist es eher wahrscheinlich, dass die Gäste sich im Notfall im verwinkelten Gebäude verlaufen. Beängstigend, wenn man genau darüber nachdenkt. Langfristig sind die Privatgemächer im 1. Stock also wohl nicht haltbar.
