BIG WARNING! Wir haben das Silavadee Pool Spa Resort auf Koh Samui für sechs Nächte als Teil unserer Hochzeitsreise gebucht und dafür rund EUR 3.751 bezahlt. Wir sind letztendlich nach drei von sechs Nächten abgereist und mussten die verbleibenden drei Nächte auf eigene Kosten in einem anderen Hotel verbringen. Viele werden sich wahrscheinlich fragen, warum wir überhaupt drei Nächte geblieben sind. Die Antwort ist einfach: Wir wollten bereits früher abreisen. Wir haben Booking.com mehrfach kontaktiert und uns immer wieder sagen lassen, dass wir am nächsten Tag eine Rückmeldung bezüglich einer möglichen Rückerstattung erhalten würden. Deshalb haben wir gewartet und darauf vertraut, dass Booking.com gemeinsam mit dem Hotel eine Lösung findet. Leider vergeblich. Wir hatten ein Luxusresort für unsere Hochzeitsreise gebucht und entsprechend Ruhe, Privatsphäre, Sauberkeit und einen gepflegten Fünf-Sterne-Standard erwartet. Stattdessen fanden wir vor Ort umfangreiche Bau- und Renovierungsarbeiten vor. Baustellen, unfertige Bereiche, Abdeckungen und sichtbare Arbeiten gehörten zu unserem Aufenthalt. Dazu kam teilweise erheblicher Lärm, der unsere Erholung und unseren Schlaf massiv beeinträchtigte. Das Problem ist für uns nicht, dass ein Hotel renoviert wird. Das Problem ist, für einen Luxusaufenthalt zu bezahlen und erst vor Ort mit einer solchen Situation konfrontiert zu werden. Auch unsere Villa entsprach für uns deutlich nicht dem Eindruck, den die Buchungsfotos vermittelt hatten. Viele Holzflächen und Einrichtungsgegenstände wirkten stark abgenutzt, Türen und Glaselemente zeigten sichtbare Gebrauchsspuren und verschiedene Bereiche rund um die Villa wirkten ungepflegt. Wir haben den Zustand während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts umfangreich fotografisch und auf Video dokumentiert. Der Unterschied zwischen der professionellen Darstellung des Resorts und dem tatsächlichen Zustand vor Ort war für uns erheblich. Auch bei Sauberkeit und Hygiene gab es Probleme.

אם היה אפשר לדרג מעל 10, הייתי מדרגת. המלון הכי מפואר ומטורף שהיינו בו. לקחנו וילה עם אושן פתוח ובריכה, שדרג את החופשה בכמה רמות.

-la chambre est spacieuse et la vue y est magnifique. -les serveurs sont adorables et très patients face au manque de respect constant de certains clients. -nous avions réservé un plateau de fruits de mer au restaurant The Star qui était délicieux.

-sur la carte le petit déjeuner paraît parfait mais en réalité les aliments ne sont pas de qualité et manquent de saveur. Par exemple l’omelette aux truffes et finalement une omelette qui baigne dans une huile aux arômes chimiques de truffe. Aussi, les pâtisseries ont tout l’air d’être congelées. -l’hôtel est vieillissant. -si vous recherchez le calme alors choisissez une villa ou passez votre chemin. -le prix de la nuitée.

מלון יפייפה מדהים ומפנק. ממוקם באזור מעט מרוחק ממרכז למאי שמחייב נסיעה אך יש שירות שאטל 3 פעמים ביום למרכז. צוות אדיב ושירותי. ארוחת בוקר עשירה טעימה ומגוונת הזמנו וילה יפייפיה עם בריכה משקיפה לים וחדר דלוקס. שניהם היו כיפיים, נוחים מרווחים וממש מפנקים. בכל ערב הביאו לנו פינוק הפתעה שמאפשר להכיר את המסורת והטעמים התאילנדים. החוף של המלון חלומי!

Bellissima struttura, bei ristoranti panoramici tutti con ottima qualità dei prodotti, due piscine affacciate sul mare. Le golf car sempre pronte per portarti da un punto all’altro della struttura, teli puliti disponibili sia alle piscine che sulla spiaggia privata attrezzata con lettini comodi. Parcheggio facile in caso di noleggio auto. Staff sempre disponibile e affabile, passaggio serale in camera degli addetti per controllare che tutto fosse in ordine e lasciare sempre un piccolo dolce tipico per la buona notte. Frigo bar in camera con molti prodotti non alcolici gratuiti rimpiazzati tutti i giorni e caffè in capsule . Ottima e vastissima la colazione, soprattutto i piatti ordinati alla carta ma tutti compresi nel servizio. Sia dolce che salato.

La pulizia delle camere dovrebbe decisamente migliorare dato il livello della struttura e il costo. I prezzi dei ristoranti un po’ sopra la media della zona ma in linea con la qualità e con le 5 stelle dell’hotel.

Lovely setting, well-designed and luxurious rooms. Very friendly staff. Generally a very beautiful place with modern facilities. Views from the two infinity pools were stunning.

Mosquitoes. They are everywhere and are definitely not under control. We were bitten numerous times every day and couldn't sit outside by our room as a result. We had 3 or 4 times more bites here than when staying in the jungle near Khao Sok. Food and drink is very expensive and not value for money. Its a very long walk into town, and hotel buses are very infrequent and at poor times. You end up using Grab a lot, and each journey is 300BHT.

The villas were beautiful, well laid out and equipped. The choices for food were varied and everything was so fresh. The staff were friendly and very attentive, including the resident Cat!

We spent a few nights here as part of our honeymoon trip, we couldn't be happier. The staff were welcoming, friendly and so attentive ... it was the little details and touches that truly made this place magical. Our villa was amazing, we'd have happily never left! Using the app was convenient and allowed ordering of buggys, towels, ice etc to room when required. Perfect place to relax and unwind. Breakfast was excellent, so many choices and all freshly made.

It is a little way off the main road, quite a distance for walking - which might bother others but we choae this hotel because we wanted more a retreat and peacefullness away from the main drag.

The views and location are beautiful, and I can understand why some guests may rate this property highly based on that alone. However, if you’re looking for a genuine 5-star luxury resort experience, I would look elsewhere. We stayed for 3 nights in a pool villa and paid around AUD 2,700. The villa itself was comfortable and the staff were friendly and trying to help, but the overall standard didn’t match the price or the way the property is presented. The food and presentation were disappointing, and there were many small details with the service, cleanliness, maintenance and overall atmosphere that simply didn’t feel 5-star. It’s not one major problem, it’s the accumulation of little things that makes the property feel much more ordinary than the luxury resort it is advertised as.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Silavadee Pool Spa Resort. Das gesamte Hotel war aussergewöhnlich sauber und sehr gepflegt. Unser Zimmer war makellos und wurde täglich gründlich gereinigt. Das gesamte Personal war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit und hat uns jederzeit das Gefühl gegeben, willkommen zu sein. Die Anlage ist wunderschön gestaltet und bietet eine traumhafte Aussicht. Die Pools, der Privatstrand und alle öffentlichen Bereiche waren stets sauber und in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig und von hoher Qualität. Auch die Restaurants und Bars haben uns sehr überzeugt. Besonders geschätzt haben wir die ruhige Atmosphäre. Wir konnten uns während unseres Aufenthalts richtig erholen und entspannen. Insgesamt war es eines der saubersten und schönsten Hotels, in denen wir bisher übernachtet haben. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können das Resort uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

The view was great and the Bathroom was large and had everything we needed.

The property was under construction in some areas of the resort. Ocean View Pool Villa was a little run down, was dirty like it hadn't been deep-cleaned in years, had very limited privacy where rooftop dinner guests could see straight into the Villa, neighbouring Villa guests could see through the wood slats into our Villa, room service was atrocious-- so much so that we even sent back food which was not cooked or was simply not eatable.

Excellent staff and facilities.

Location is great for the views from a cliff top. But downside is it is far from Chaweng, Bo Phut etc so have to take taxis everywhere.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. Silavadee has completely blown us away and has now become our favourite resort we’ve ever stayed at. It’s the little touches that make this place so special. The gorgeous spa-like scent throughout the resort, the luxurious toiletries, the huge fluffy towels, the beautiful rooms and the attention to detail everywhere you look. It just feels so effortlessly luxurious without ever feeling pretentious. The staff deserve a special mention. Every single person we encountered was so warm, friendly and genuinely wanted to make our stay unforgettable. We also loved the app, which made communication incredibly easy. Need a buggy? Want room service? Have a question? Just send a message and someone responds almost immediately. It made everything feel so seamless. The food was outstanding and we never had a bad meal. We also loved that Lamai Beach was only a few minutes away. We spent time at the beach but found ourselves wanting to head back to the resort because we were so excited to use our private pool and enjoy all the incredible facilities. That’s when you know you’ve picked the right place—you actually don’t want to leave the resort! Everyone in our group was absolutely blown away. The customer service, the food, the facilities and the overall atmosphere were all exceptional. Silavadee has genuinely raised the bar for us, and I think every resort we stay at from now on will be compared to this one. We will 100% be back. Thank you to the entire team for making this such a special and unforgettable holiday.

The weather that unpredictable

We arrived at the hotel with high expectations, but our experience was extremely disappointing. Shortly after check-in, we found a large spider in our room and a wasp nest nearby. Combined with the poor cleanliness of the room, we did not feel safe or comfortable staying there. When we contacted reception, we were told that a room change would only be possible the next day and that we would have to spend the night in the same room. This was unacceptable, so we decided to leave the hotel. What disappointed us most was the lack of flexibility and consideration from the hotel, despite reporting the issue immediately. The hotel refused to offer any compensation or refund, and we lost the full amount paid for three nights that we were unable to use. We understand that insects can appear in tropical destinations, but we expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, safety, and customer service. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have ever had.

The facilities were beautiful, staff went above and beyond to be as accommodating as possible. Very friendly, and helpful.

Unser Aufenthalt im Silavadee Pool Spa Resort auf Koh Samui war außergewöhnlich. Das gesamte Resort bietet eine traumhafte Atmosphäre mit atemberaubendem Meerblick, wunderschönem Design und einem Service, der keine Wünsche offenlässt. Vom Empfang über die Bedienung im Restaurant, die freundlichen Buggy-Fahrer bis hin zum Spa – einfach alles war perfekt organisiert und von Herzlichkeit geprägt. Jeder Mitarbeiter begegnete uns mit einem Lächeln und großer Aufmerksamkeit. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns das Restaurant The Height – ein absolutes Highlight unseres Aufenthalts. Ein ganz besonderer Dank geht an Manee und ihr Team für die wunderschöne Geburtstagsüberraschung beim Frühstück. Die liebevoll vorbereitete Torte und der Gesang haben diesen besonderen Moment unvergesslich gemacht und uns sehr berührt. Solche Gesten zeigen, mit wie viel Herz und Hingabe gearbeitet wird. Außerdem möchten wir uns herzlich bei den beiden wunderbaren Mitarbeiterinnen des Restaurants Aonny und Bee bedanken. Beide waren unglaublich herzlich, aufmerksam und professionell und haben unseren Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht. Wir können das Silavadee Resort und besonders das The Height Restaurant empfehlen und freuen uns schon jetzt auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

La plage privée, très jolie, mais impossible de s'y baigner à cause d'un manque de profondeur et surtout la présence de nombreux rochers et coraux.J'ai séjourné début mai 2026 dans cet hôtel.Lorsque j'ai réservé, 6 mois à l'avance, on m'a prévenu que des travaux étaient en cours et qu'ils se termineraient fin 2025.Quelques temps après, la direction m'a informé que la fin des travaux était repoussée à fin mars 2026.Et lors de mon séjour, du 6 au 12 mai, les travaux n'étaient toujours pas achevés et généraient des nuisances sonores.La mauvaise qualité des fruits au petit déjeuner, l'absence de mangue alors que l'on en trouve à tous les coins de rue.

The staff wasn’t friendly. Normally Thai staff are amazing. But here, they were arrogant and disrespectful. One staff come in to my room when I was naked without permission. I think she saw my humble male organ. Unbelievable!

Er zaten gaten in het dak, wat niet helpt als het af en toe regent. Het ergste was dat er muizen in de villa zaten . We werden wakker met muizen poep op onze kussens en dat al na de tweede macht. En de airco werkte niet naar behoren, het werd ontzettend heet in de villa. Prijs kwaliteit was ronduit slecht, 500 euro per nacht is het niet waard!!

It was clear from the beginning of our stay that the staff at the Silavadee take great care to ensure your happiness and comfort during your stay. The resort is beautiful, our villa and private pool idyllic, and the small details they added to make our stay special were very thoughtful.

Our only complaint, which the Silavadee had warned us about a few times in advance, was the construction happening during our stay on a restaurant adjacent to our villa on the property. The warnings we'd received hadn't been quite clear about the construction noises happening til 8-9pm, but the rest of our stay was excellent.

It was our second stay at this beautiful hotel- after our first stay we went to another resort and didn’t like it and returned immediately to Silavadee… the villa was so luxurious, so many details taken in mind, perfect saltwater pool, very good value for money, the infinity pool at the sun restaurant is breathtaking (and also saltwater!!). We really liked the happy hour with snacks and drinks:) service is amazing and everything very clean. Everyone is so nice. Amazing breakfast.

It’s a bit secluded from everything if you want to grab something from the outside. The private beach is absolutely beautiful but a little rocky (like many beaches in the area).

It’s not worth it at all. It’s like a 3 star hotel at best. The entrance to the hotel itself is very poor. The rooms had lot of ants and very run down in general.

The villa and pool at the villa was nice.

Terrible rocky beach, they are doing CONSTRUCTION RIGHT NEXT TO THE BEACH, so you can't even hear yourself think. They are doing NEW CONTRUCTION on the property. If you are looking for a nice beach this side of the Island is NOT IT. It will probably be another 6 months to 1 year until all construction is completed.

Amazing staff, very clean, most comfortable bed and very big, perfect infinity pool, wonderful breakfast, quiet, not too many mosquitos, everything is so beautiful!

I loved everything! Some small stuff to note: was lacking a large hair-towel in the bathroom, there was a bit of an ant situation in our room but it’s understandable in this area.

Es war traumhaft schön… Das Personal war ausgezeichnet wir sind wirklich jedes Jahr auf Koh Samui und noch nie war der Service so klasse! Wir haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Ein ganz besonderer Dank geht an Khun Pang vom Service sie war so aufmerksam und hat immer gestrahlt. Sie hat uns immer den Tag versüßt. Wir werden definitiv noch mal wieder kommen.

Cela ne vaut pas le prix payé. Pas d'expérience client reelle, une fois le QR code scanne chacun se débrouille. Le petit déjeuner est en intérieur. Les chambres avec jacuzzi ne sont pas géniales, la terrasse est devant un mur. Les travaux y sont sans doute pour quelque chose.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The villa offered a breathtaking sunrise view that was the perfect way to start each morning. Everything was more than perfect.

Our stay at Silavadee Pool Spa Resort was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, Aomm at reception went above and beyond to look after us and truly made us feel like celebrities. Although one of the restaurants was closed, the hotel kindly offered us an hour of complimentary drinks, which was a lovely touch. With three other dining options available, each one was breathtaking in its own way. One of the most unique features was a restaurant with tables set right in the pool—something we had never experienced before. The villa itself was incredible and unlike anything we’ve ever stayed in. The entire resort has a tranquil, romantic atmosphere that makes it perfect for a special getaway. The staff consistently provided exceptional service throughout our stay. Breakfast was easily the best we’ve ever had, with a fantastic variety and quality. This is, without a doubt, the best hotel we have ever stayed at, and we cannot wait to come back. If you’re considering where to stay, book this resort—you will not be disappointed.

מלון מטורף מכל הבחינות – הרגשה של 8 כוכבים. החדרים אותנטיים מעץ ומלאים באווירה מיוחדת, והבריכה הענקית עם נוף לים פשוט חלום. המסעדות מעולות, וארוחת הבוקר ברמה גבוהה מאוד עם תפריט לבחירה בנוסף לבופה. החדר והמיטה היו חלומיים – מושלם מושלם מושלם. יש חוף פרטי, כמה בריכות, שירותי באגי נוחים וצוות מקסים ושירותי לאורך כל השהות. המיקום בלמאי – לא הכי מרכזי, אבל באמת שאין צורך לצאת מהמלון כי יש בו הכל.

יש לא מעט חרקים ומעופפים באזור כי החדרים בתוך ג׳ונגל כזה.

very coze luxury hotel. staff is very friendly and helpful, room is good standard, clean, comfortable, relax and beautiful. I have wonderful time in there. only thing is the hotel locate in a bit steep, which might be tiring for guests with mobility issues, but they have excellent transportation driver you inside hotel everyway.

Beautiful resort with stunning views across the ocean. Felt very private in our ocean view 2 bedroom villa. As we had our own pool we didn't really need to use the other pools and could enjoy relaxing. Staff were very friendly, helpful and any small problems were dealt with rapidly. Restaurants were great with a good variety of European and Thai food. Ongoing works didn't impact on our stay. A lovely stay.

Only quibbles are access to the villa pool could have done with an extra step downwards and a rail and downstairs room lacked lights to read which meant getting up and down around bedtime - not the end of the world, just a tad annoying.

התארחתי במלון ללילה אחד מתוך 2 לילות מאחר והיה לי עיכוב בטיסה לתאילנד. פניתי ביום בו נחתתי למלון ופרטתי את כל שקרה לי וביקשתי אפשרות לארח אותי לילה נוסף ביום אחר ונעניתי בשלילה. בנוסף, הזמנת מונית מהמלון גבוהה ויקרה מהרגיל.

The atmosphere of this hotel was much more in line with what I personally look for, especially in terms of architectural character and overall vibe. Koh Samui was a wonderful island to visit, and I honestly do not think there is a truly bad location on the island, since most places feel relatively accessible. If I return to Samui and want a private pool villa again, this is a hotel I would seriously consider. The restaurant was also very good.

The hotel is positioned at a relatively high price point, but at first we felt it was justified by the overall experience. Unfortunately, that impression changed at check-out. In some of the most luxurious beach clubs in Phuket, beer was priced around 200–240 baht, so being charged 500 baht for two bottles of water felt excessive. This was the main reason I reduced my rating. The daily credit of 500–1000 baht was also not enough in practice. We stayed for three days, dined at the hotel on only two evenings, and still had to pay extra

Our pool villa was amazing and we were so happy with the location and view. We were able to check in several hours earlier which we really appreciated. Everything in the minibar is complementary except the alcohol. The cleaning was incredible. The cleaner was so attentive to our patterns and needs (10 out of 10). Restaurant Star is amazing - so beautiful and they have entertainment every night. Great cocktails also. Unfortunately a bit weather dependent though. The service (and food) at all restaurants was uneven - sometimes great and sometimes not so good. On some occasions it took a very long time to get the food and we were not even acknowledged when we sat down at a table. When I called roomservice and asked for extra towels and hangers the never came, I had to remind them several times. The breakfast was great however (both service and food) - we appreciated that they offered champagne and everything from the a la carte meny was very good.

The beach was a big disappointment. It was full of trash (plastic bottles, old food etc.), disorganized and felt like the hotel really not prioritized it. This was a shame as there was definitely potential. The hotel has been under renovation for a long time and unfortunately the completion date has been moved several times. This was announced very late up on our arrival (only weeks in advance) so we had no chance to book something else. This was a bit of a disappointment but not crucial to our experience. When the weather was bad they moved dinner reservation from Star to their indoor restaurant Moon. The lighting was horrible for dinner - 0 cosy. As the 3rd restaurant was under renovation there were no other choices. The room was very hot when we arrived. Had to ask for an extra keycard (you only get one when you check in) so the AC wouldn't turn off as soon as we left the room. They fixed this immediately but it was a strange system..

Silavadee är nog ett av de bästa (om inte det allra bästa) hotell jag bott på! Allt var på topp och kändes så genomtänkt. Min man fyllde år under vårt vistelse och personalen hade både ordnat med rosblad på sängen och en födelsedagstårta. Varje kväll när vi kom till rummet fanns en liten överraskning i form av kaka/godisbit som låg på sängen. Det ingick både vatten och läsk vilket också fylldes på dagligen. På eftermiddagarna ordnade hotellet med after beach där man fick gratis dryck och snacks. Hotellet erbjuder shuttle service till både Lamai och Chaweng flera gånger per dag. Hela anläggningen var välstädat och personalen väldigt trevlig. Eftersom hotellet ligger på en höjd blev man skjutsad i golfbilar inom området. Vi besökte också hotellets spa och tog varsin behandling som vi båda var väldigt nöjda med. Jag är så glad att få ha besökt Silavadee och hoppas jag får möjlighet att åka tillbaka i framtiden!

Det pågick renovering av en av restaurangerna där även gymmet låg. Vi hade informerats om detta i förväg och fick kompensation för det under vår vistelse men ljudet från byggarbetet var ändå så pass högt att vi undvek att vara på stranden där det lät.

Silavadee spa resort is breath taking from the moment you walk up the entrance stairs, greeted with the most tasteful tea. The ocean front spa vila was outstanding the views nothing like we’ve ever seen before. The most comfortable beds feeling like a pillow in heaven. The resort having the best service and food available. Their staff went above and beyond with our little 2 year old daughter. She loved every staff member here. Silavadee help me plan the most beautiful proposal site on their private beach, it was stress free. And a moment I will never forget. I highly recommend any couple or family this resort. We will continue to come back to this resort. 1000/10 👌🏼

We liked the food, the staff (especially Dream) were wonderful and very accomplished. The rooftop restaurant was lovely with a great view. The spa treatment was amazing.

The lack of sun beds due to building works being carried out which we were made aware of shortly before arrival (we didn’t think it was going to affect our holiday dates until that point).

Felt up sad after booked hotel facilities not ready, and we need car pick up that hotel ask me booked 24 hrs b4, I think its hotel auto management, no need we request .

We spent 5 nights at Silavadee for part of our honeymoon. We had a villa with a pool and partial ocean view. It was everything we had hoped for and more. The staff made communication seamless; from coordinating transportation to room service and beyond the experience and service was top notch. We loved the breakfast, shuttles to/from Lamai, the phenomenal villa pool, a truly excellent spa experience and the lovely demeanor from every staff member we encountered. We hope to return again one day!

We had an amazing week at Silavadee. The ocean front villa was beautiful and apart from going out on some day trips, we felt this was the perfect place to stay and great to have our own pool area. The fridge is well stocked with complimentary soft drinks and a fruit bowl changed daily. The staff go above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. Their friendliness is just a joy. We had a great morning with chef Manee and Pang. They took us to the local supermarket and then the market to look at all the different produce they use and then back at the hotel, had our own private cooking class with Manee as we were the only two booked on that day! Manee and Pang are just so funny and entertaining. Breakfast was superb with a great selection and a la carte menu. The Star restaurant in the evening was lovely, especially with the sun setting. Great food and service too. We enjoyed the two hour spa treatment and the massages were great. Some reviews were complaining about the ongoing renovations, but this did not affect us at all, nor could we hear anything. The hotel did put on an hourly free drinks and snacks every afternoon to compensate which was greatly appreciated. We did not want to leave this perfect tranquil resort and hope to return again in the future.

We stayed in a deluxe ocean view room with balcony jacuzzi which suited us. The room was spacious with a bath and shower. House keeping attended every day to tidy up and every evening for turn down service which was a very nice touch. Plenty of choices at breakfast. All staff were friendly and accommodating and we couldn't have asked for more. If you eatdrink in the restaurants in the evenings it is more expensive than going into town but the quality and choice were good. There is a shuttle bus that visits Cheweng Beach or Lamai town which are great places to visit - but they aren't run at convenient times for dinner, so we were able to download the app Grab and booked cabs via this at very reasonable prices. All in all a very relaxing place to stay and would definitely return.
