Wow what a lovely little gem in the heart of Shaldon, I don’t know how we’ve overlooked it in the past. Everything was perfect and Robert, Linda and Shelley were the perfect hosts.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very flexible as we had issues with the traffic being diverted and we arrived quite late. The place is great to stay and enjoy Shaldon and the nearby towns.

The location was fantastic for what we needed. The staff working at breakfast were absolutely charming - so friendly and attentive. The breakfast itself was delicious! Fresh water in the room was welcome, along with the tea and coffee making facilities.

The "greeting" we received upon arrival from a gentleman was very unwelcoming and unfriendly. First impressions mean a lot, and our first impression was not nice at all.

Perfect location, just a short walk to the beach, lovely staff and made to feel very welcome. Lovely, clean and spacious room, delicious cooked breakfast. Parking was very handy also.

Slight difficulty getting in and out of the car park due to cars parked opposite but no big deal.

The car park is very tight which caused a minor amount of inconvenience when it came to leave.

Beautiful room, with a beautiful view of the estuary. The family who run the place are extremely friendly and inclusive. Myself and my 2 children felt extremely welcomed, the atmosphere was very relaxed and cheerful. I would highly recommend this place for someone who wants a nice rest in a comfortable bed after a long day exploring south Devon. Above everything else the breakfast is exceptional 10/10.

It can't be changed but you have to manouevre carefully in the bathroom.

The most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. Spotlessly clean. Lots of extra touches - a fridge with fresh milk and cold water, and a fan, for example.

Parking is awkward, though possible.

Access to the car park can be very difficult due to cars parking directly opposite the entrance. The main problem is getting out of the car park which requires considerable manoeuvring particularly when the carpark is full. Breakfast is predominately fried, some healthy options, fruit,etc would have been nice.

Lovely clean guest house. Decor, paintwork & furniture were all up to scratch. Situated next door to a pub which was very nice, served food ( although we didnt eat there).

Roads outside the guest house are very narrow, it's a bit tight getting in & out of the carpark.

A lovely guest house located very close to the little ferry and road bridge over to Teignmouth. Our room was very clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful plus breakfast was fantastic!

Nice place in a nice location, with good bedroom facilities provided, very clean and well serviced. Owner and staff were very friendly with super breakfasts and nothing was to much trouble.

Shower was bit small but suitable for bedroom situation ( effectively if roof of premises) and is a very minor thing and was absolutely suitable.

Absolutely beautiful guest house in an excellent location. Right at the beachfront, with several food places around. Linda and Robert were lovely and very helpful, breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked. Room was spacious, clean and cold water in the fridge was such a nice touch when we arrived after whole day at the beach. I'm sure we will be back.

A very nice location on the Green, close to the waterfront in the pretty village of Shaldon. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Next door to a very good pub, the London Inn.

Our room was on the top floor with sloping ceilings which were easy to knock your head against.

Really super room. very clean, loved the fresh milk in the fridge for the tea and coffee, far better than UHT plastic containers. Really quiet for an undisturbed nights sleep.

We have been to Potters Mooring about 6 times now over a number of years. Always friendly owners and staff. Great varieties of breakfasts too. Nothing is too much trouble. London inn pub next door too so not far to walk home.

No fault of the facilities but we were in a attic room up 2 flight of stairs which my husband struggled with as he is disabled. When staying in future will book larger room on a lower floor

Perfect location for coastal walks. Beautiful area that gives you peace and quiet with exquisite surroundings. Our room was a good size, perfectly clean with a lovely en-suite bathroom with walk in shower. Towels and bedding were of high quality and felt very comfortable. The full breakfast was perfectly cooked with great fresh products. The service at breakfast was lovely, it made us feel important. I cannot fault the B&B, it has everything you want and need for a short break away and feel spoiled by great quality. Thank you for a great stay. We’ll definitely be back.

I had a wonderful stay at Potters Moorings. The rooms were beautiful, spotless, and well stocked with everything needed for a comfortable visit. Breakfast was always fresh, tasty, and clearly prepared with care. The staff were absolutely fantastic—they truly couldn’t do enough for you. Highly recommended!

It was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Loved the fact there was fresh milk and water in a refrigerator in the room. The property was next door to the pub which was extremely accommodating. The breakfast we had was excellent and freshly cooked. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Getting in and out of the car park as the road outside is narrow and had park vehicles opposite the drive.

Leaving the property could be rather difficult , the frontage of the property was made full use of however double yellow lines opposite the drive would make a huge difference. Guess we must wait for the council!!!

The hotel was clean and very comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We had a really great stay and can't recommend the hotel highly enough!

The breakfast was excellent, just exactly what we asked for and very prompt too. The room was also very clean, only downside , the step down into the bathroom.

And Linda, the owner, is an absolute gem – so lovely, knowledgeable, and full of brilliant local advice that really enhanced my stay. If you’re looking for somewhere special in Devon, Potters Moorings is an absolute must. I can’t recommend it highly enough and will definitely be returning.

Absolutely nothing, the parking was a bit stressful, but Linda was extremely helpful and told me what to do, drive in and reverse out facing towards the Clippers.

The electric shower was extremely hot then cold and we were not able to change this.

We were greeted with a warm welcome and on entering the hotel we found it cosy and relaxing. The rooms were spacious and very clean and well equipped. I particularly like the fact the shower had a non slip base. The food was excellent too!

Our family of 6 plus dog only stayed 1 night on our way to a family wedding but this was a really great hotel. Lovely owners, immaculately clean and very good, filling breakfast. We will definitely return and spend more time and will also be recommending to all our family and friends.
