Location was fantastic. Lovely pub and restaurant. Lot's of place's to go.

All the staff were lovely but Alan went above expectations

We had a very spacious, clean and comfortable room which was very stylish and had everything we needed for our two day stay. We were very fortunate to have lovely views and a balcany to sit and admire them. Breakfast was very plentiful and nicely cooked. Particularly enjoyed the fresh honeycomb.

Unfortunately the evening meals didn't hit the mark! They were pre prepared and reheated, my new potatoes were grey and cold, l was however compensated with a complimentary desert and coffee.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and food was delicious - what’s not to like!

Very nice. Bar shuts a bit early and the breakfast was available later than ideal.

The hotel looked great and had a lovely vibe. Beautiful seaside town location, perfect for a short stay. The room was cosy and clean, great added touch with the radio. My partner and I had an amazing time. Thank you to all the staff.

Really lovely room, comfy bed and beach decor was sweet. We could even see the sea, a bit!

The room was loud at night, but I don't really mind that much! What I did feel you let yourselves down on was the breakfast: my partner's bread on his eggs benedict was so stale we couldn't cut it, and my wheat toast tasted as if it had been repeatedly frozen/thawed. Minor issue but definitely stood out.

Amazing location, full of character, lovely staff

It was as clean and fresh. The room had a/c which was wonderful. Also the tea and coffee facilities were great.

The food was a little pricey and not as good as we would have expected for the price.

The room was lovely, clean and spacious, the view was amazing. We ate in the restaurant the staff were friendly and helpful

The food was ok but we were disappointed with the menu and as we were by the coast that the fish was frozen and not locally sourced. Breakfast was again a bit disappointing everything seemed a bit dry and over cooked.

It’s just a small negative, parking! Didn’t have an issue with the £258 a night for the room but not being able to park at the property was annoying

Recently decorated beautifully, the room was charming and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Booking.com description was misleading. Expected to have a sea facing room but in reality this was not the case. Definitely not the problem with the Hotel but rather the Booking.com website.

Excellent location, really nice rooms and great views out over the water.

Could have done with a fan in the room.

Location was perfect. We were delighted to find off-road parking though we arrived early and got the last place. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and professional. The breakfast was outstanding.

We found it odd that the room had air-conditioning, but the towel radiator was on in the bathroom and we were unable to turn it off. The duvets were too heavy ( winter weight) considering the hot weather we’ve been having.

I like the views in most of the rooms. Stayed in several rooms over time, especially lately. I especially love room 9 withseaview balchony. Room below was lovely too. Room 1 I think.

I cannot think of any negatives. Seems difficult getting in car park alot of times.

Air con was very helpful as having a heat wave at time. Made up for lack of view.

Food generally good, little expensive compared to our local eating places but to be expected with the location. Bedroom very good since it had air conditioning, no view from the bedroom but the resturant views were very good over Teignmouth and the harbour.

Beautiful room with air con during a heatwave. High spec fittings, spotless, and good refreshments. All staffwere welcoming and friendly.

The only thing we could improve would be to have a plug socket nearer the desk and mirror for doing hair.

Food excellent, staff very nice and helpful. Superb location for coastal views and walking in the countryside.

I was in room 7, not the most expensive room. No view at all as window frosted as it overlooked some electrical plant or air con unit or maybe the back of the kitchens. There was a hum of machinery of some kind which carried on all night. I slept ok but it could have got disturbing. I hope that they will triple-glaze that window if at all possible. However, I would stay again and hope to get a room at the front. It was very quiet otherwise as away from the pub side.

Beautiful location. Lovely room. Lovely bar and restaurant area. Ample seating area outside with gorgeous views. We had a very warm welcome.

We had dinner on one night of our stay. Due to lack of staff we were advised that we couldn’t sit outside - it was 30’ so just the weather to enjoy the outside with beautiful views over the sea but they needed us to sit inside!! There was a special 2 course menu for £19. Very good value but only one choice of starter left! Our bathroom wasn’t cleaned once during our 3 night stay and despite leaving the floor towel on the floor, desperately needing to be changed as the shower leaked, the cleaner left it there and I had to ask for a new one. He/she twice put the towel radiator on in the bathroom when the room was already boiling during the 30’++ heatwave. He/she took the rubbish out of the bedroom bin then left it in a bag in the middle of the floor! I had to find a dustbin to dispose of it myself! The toilet bowl was very stained when we arrived and despite asking for some bleach to be put down it, it never happened.

Beautiful location and exceptionally clean and comfortable room. Got a free upgrade to a room with Seaview and balcony. Vicky on reception was incredibly welcoming after we had a long and hot journey. Trudi at breakfast was welcoming and cheery and the breakfast was delicious with lots of choice.

Lack of easy parking. Green light on bedroom ceiling was too bright at nightime and disturbed my sleep. The wall mounted USB charger too weak - couldnt even charge phone to 100% overnight.

What a stunning location overlooking Teignmouth Bay. The Ness has such a magical atmosphere about it. Our room was immaculate, fresh, and beautifully decorated with a light and airy feel. A huge plus for me was the air conditioning, which I absolutely loved. We also had a lovely feature wall of the Teign, which added a special touch. There was an excellent selection of teas, coffees, and biscuits in the room, and the shower was amazing. The staff were incredibly attentive and couldn’t do enough for us throughout our stay. We enjoyed lunch, dinner, and breakfast at the hotel, and every meal was delicious. The fresh fruit selection of pineapple, melon, grapes, and strawberries was wonderful. For breakfast, I had the eggs Florentine and quite possibly the best banana muffin I’ve ever eaten! We can’t wait to return. Truly a place to visit if you’re in the area.

The staff were brilliant. Very helpful, friendly and professional. The building itself was lovely. The room was extremely clean. Interior was very nicely decorated. The location was fantastic. The dining/bar area was very well thought out and we liked the eclectic mix of furniture.
