Welcoming hosts and a lovely room - well equipped with all amenities provided
Great central location and free parking right outside Clean room with a comfy bed Friendly staff who looked after bags for a few hours until we could check in
The owners are lovely people, very friendly and welcoming. We had a full English breakfast which was very nice. Rooms are spotless. Would reccommend, and we would stay again
Only little negative was we were put on the top floor , no lift, to which i struggled a little. But im totally to blame as i didnt ask for a room on a lower floor. Rooms are small, but quite adequate for a short stay.
Although the room was small and up two flights of stairs, the bed was very comfortable; it was very quiet too and we had a very restful night's sleep. Helpful information re local places to eat.
We arrived early hoping to leave our bags there for the afternoon but the proprietor was out (though a phone number was posted )
Very clean, very friendly
Location was great, just off the promenade. Plenty parking spaces on the street
Warm welcome

The owners were lovely, very friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious
No concerns
Breakfast was excellent, with both a full English breakfast and a vegetarian option available. Excellent value for money.
The area around the hotel was not very appealing, with several older buildings in need of renovation. However, ongoing refurbishment work suggests the neighborhood will improve significantly in the near future.
Nice project
close to beach
The size of the room
The smell of cannabis in the room and smoke
Brill location. Lovely staff. Spotless rooms. Would stay again.
Not a thing wrong with it. Its cheap & clean & near the bars we go to. So its a good hotel for the area.
the owner was very good this morning but staff be more informative on arrival as things wasnt explained very well. Towels had marls, wasnt told how to use radiator so room was very cold, she didnt expalin how to use fob so couldnt get in. seal on shower door was leaking.
close to amenatives, the lady this morming was lovely..
Cleanliness and very welcoming

Sehr gutes Frühstück. Sehr nette Hotelbetreiber. Wir waren auf dem Weg zur TT Isle of Man und fanden es super geeignet für eine Nacht.
Great location, clean and excellent breakfast. A great Host really helpful and nothing too much, changed rooms to a more suitable twin room and put a fan in as it was really warm, would certainly book there again.
Good price, good location, friendly staff
Beds were sooooo uncomfortable felt every spring in the mattress

Unclean
I liked everything about the Sanderling. I received a warm welcome even though I arrived later than planned. I was moved into a more convenient room for me to manage my heavy luggage. The room was spotlessly clean. In addition I had to leave very early to catch the ferry and my hosts made sure I was up and helped me with my bike which they stored safely for me. They recommended local places to eat and provided really good sized mugs with their tea making facilities. I can't sing the praises of The Sanderling enough.

Good Location near Beach and all amenities
The room was lovely and clean. The breakfast was nice and the host were friendly and helpful, Would definitely stay there again.
Can't think of anything we didn't like about our stay.
Staff were lovely, chocolate and biscuits in the room were a nice touch
Friendly kind staff.
Only the stairs, but if we book ahead next time, we can get a ground floor room.
small room
The tiny room is equipped with its own bathroom (also tiny) and a kettle for tea. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly. The place is very close to the beach and supermarkets. I was able to park my motorbike in the street, but in front of the accommodation.
The room was very small, about 6m2, leaving almost no space for the luggage. I managed to link up to the wifi, but got no internet.
Well situated to all amenities. Comfortable room and bed. The room was ideal size and also relaxing. Good size bathroom with shower. Excellent breakfast. For the price it is highly recommended The owners were fantastic and very helpful.
No complaints.
Perfectly suited to my needs
Room a bit on the small size but offset by large bathroom.
Good value Clean
Quite dated decor and facilities
Handy location
Close to the seafront
Property was excellent but bed was a bit hard
Location, clean, everything you need for your stay. Staff was very friendly and informative about the local area. Accommodation excellent value for money.

A good location being so near to the north beach.
Unfortunately, the lady on duty did not tell me that l needed to book for breakfast when l checked in.
For a single room a generous amount of space which you don’t always get in a b&b. Convenient location. Good value although on my booking it was room only, but I paid for a cooked breakfast which set me up for the day.
Nothing.
We only stopped one night but it met our requirements perfectly. We had the family room which had a double bed and a rollaway bed in the large main room and a single bed in an attached room (it doesn't have its own entrance). This was perfect for my wife and I and two teenage daughters. Breakfast was available at £9.50 each (choice of full English, vegetarian and continental) but we didn't have this. We had no trouble parking on the street very close (free) on a Sunday evening at the beginning of August. The owner recommended an Indian restaurant to us which we enjoyed. Some nice touches - chocolates on the towels and a toilet roll rose!
There were 3 windows in the main room. The two outer ones had blind and curtain but the middle one only had a blind. It was quite light when the sun came up in the morning. It would've been great to have blackout blinds/curtains on all windows. Window cleaner at 8.10am on a Monday morning!
Family friendly and with wide space and comfortable beds.
Place is all good to be so nothing that i don’t like.
Strandnähe
Zimmer war baulich nicht in Ordnung ( schräger Fussboden ,Zimmertür klemmt ) , fleckiger Teppichboden, rostige Ausstattung im Badezimmer
Friendly good value accommodation, close to Marine Drive and coastal walk, clean and comfortable room
clean, pleasant room. comfortable beds. Dave and Meru are very amenable, polite, and can have a laugh with them
my daughter wouldn't let me watch the football in silence 🤐🙊 😂😂😂
The rooms were nice and spacious with everything there that we needed.
Nothing
Was upgraded to a Double Room & it was very quiet, also arrived earlier than normal check in time & allowed the room instantly ;-)
The Car Parking is bad as it is a Residential Street where homeowners need to park their cars, managed to park almost outside during the day,but after 5pm the parking is not good so had to park a few streets away.
Location
All good
Value for money, friendly owners. Great breakfast
Room was a little small however we did book last minute so could get a bigger room next time
If you’re looking for a proper British seaside B&B — the kind your nan would approve of and your mate Dave would accidentally call “classy” — then Sanderlings Guest House is the place. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted like a long‑lost cousin who finally remembered to visit. The place is spotless too — so clean you could eat your breakfast off the carpet, though they’d probably prefer you used a plate. The rooms? Lovely. Comfy. The kind of bed that makes you consider cancelling your plans just to lie there like a Victorian poet. And the breakfast… well, let’s just say if you leave hungry, that’s on you. It’s a proper British fry‑up that could revive a man after a night out in Morecambe. Location-wise, you’re seconds from the promenade — ideal for pretending you’re in a BBC drama as you stroll along the seafront, or for watching the tide come in at the speed of a sleepy tortoise. Sanderlings is everything a seaside B&B should be: friendly owners, cracking breakfast, spotless rooms, and that warm “you’re alright here” feeling. A fantastic stay — and if you don’t enjoy it, you might actually be allergic to happiness
Sanderlings Guest House is everything you want from a classic British seaside Bed and Breakfast — welcoming, spotless, and full of charm. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with genuine hospitality that feels more like staying with friends than checking into accommodation. The rooms are beautifully kept, comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished, with that cosy “proper B&B” feel that’s getting harder to find these days. Breakfast is exactly what you hope for on the Lancashire coast: freshly cooked, generous portions, and served with a smile. The location is spot‑on too — just a short stroll from the promenade, with easy access to Morecambe’s beach walks, cafés, and views across the bay. Whether you’re exploring Bare Village, heading into Old Morecambe, or simply enjoying a quiet coastal break, Sanderlings puts you right where you want to be. It’s a fantastic example of a traditional British Bed and Breakfast done right: friendly owners, great food, immaculate rooms, and that warm seaside atmosphere that keeps you coming back. A brilliant choice for anyone visiting Morecambe.
The owners were so kind and friendly...went out of their way to make us comfortable and to help us find what we needed. They were even able to take us last minute!!
Can't think of a thing:)
The Hotel was brilliant
Nothing to dislike
Very nice hotel and professional recreational lady works at the reception
I really recommend it to everyone
Ideal for a one night stay, good location, bathroom was good , breakfast was ok
Bed too firm for me but that's a personal thing could be ok for other people.curtains let in too much light so awake from sunrise so sleep not so good, breakfast ok but nowhere on pre order sheet to say what you'd like and not like and overpriced in my opinion
We enjoyed our 1 night stay in Morecambe. The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were really welcoming.
Friendly welcome and easy check in. Good hosts.
the owner was frendly and even went through all the best eating places and said the directions to them
Great location. Staff were terrific and accommodating.
Small bathroom facilities by Australian standards but were clean and had everything required. Would stay again.
Very friendly and helpful owners. Lovely comfy cosy bedroom and bed. Lovely and clean and got parked for free right outside. What a gem of a place.
Wish it was in a better location.
Owners very friendly and helpful
Brilliant hosts, great room and overall very pleasant stay!
No plugs by the bed
the staff are very welcoming breakfast brill couldn't ask for anything more very close to town
Location was excellent. Close to the beach.
It was clean well equipped and host was lovely Very helpful

Excellent location and close to lots of restaurants and bars. The owners were really helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay there again as it was great value for money
Unfortunately there was no lift and car parking was limited.
The owners where lovely and very welcoming
Two flights of stairs no lift
Its location was convenient, it had privacy and the price was very good.
You get what you pay for. The room was small and pokey, but perfectly clean, so good if you're looking for a cheap room.
Beautifully decorated and the owners were amazing.

Smart steps up to the property. Thoughtful presentation of our room: good quality towels nicely folded with a chocolate on top; tea mugs each with a biscuit; shower gel, soap and shower hat provided. In fact a far better welcome than places we stayed in later in the week that cost two and half times more. We really appreciated that the garage had bike racks. Owner was very helpful in suggesting a range of places for dinner.
Nice place to stay not too far to walk to pubs and shops are local to it
I liked it all no problems with stay
Fantastic place. Attentive Owners. Really really enjoyed my stay here. Great location. Clean. Great value. Highly recommended :D
Handy location only aten minutes walk from shops and station
Lovely hosts, we would stay again.

Landlady helpful
Very friendly owners. Location was good
Room was a bit small
The owners where lovely and welcoming. They told us places to take the boys along the front and told us where the big market was. The place was spotless and comfy just what we needed for a few days away.
Nothing to do with the hotel just not enough for teenage boys to do whilst there.

The noise was really bad we had no sleep don’t no who was above use but nose was ridiculous was load bang
