Lovely place and central
Lovely room overlooking the bay. Large, airy and clean. The room was big enough to have a king size bed rather than the standard double.
Sorry didn’t have breakfast
Just had a good night
The bed was so super comfy and the room was spacious and really clean. We had a partial sea view which was lovely. We also liked the little extras of the borders biscuits and the fact there was lots of milk sachets (as opposed to only getting one or two). We ate in the restaurant and I have to say the food was wonderful as well as the staff who were super friendly. We had a lovely stay at the hotel and will definitely be back.
We were on the top floor and there was no lift but it wasn't too far to go, but not suitable for someone who would struggle with stairs.
Main asset here are the staff, all friendly and helpful Food was excellent Room view was amazing, and room clean
Stairs ,but nothing can be done about that
Everything room was brilliant. Bed exceptionally comfortable 5* didn't eat at the hotel this time but have eaten there before and food is excellent. Central location parking not far away and only £3 for 12 hours.
There was nothing not too like
What's not to like, lovely room, great views, ideal location.
Leaving.
Easy parking just across the road. Very comfortable bed
Location was excellent, just across from the Eric Morecambe statue. The staff were so friendly and couldn't be more helpful. We ate in the bistro and the food was excellent. The bed was super comfy and the hotel was fantastic value for money. Would definitely stay again if heading to Morecambe.
The rooms and staircases could do with the decor updating.
Comfortable bed and good food at a fair price.
Stairs. We were on floor 3.
It was very central the 24hour car park was very close
We knew there wasn't a lift which was fine didn't realise that the steps would be that steep
The view was exceptional
No lift,
The comfy bed
That the door lock wouldn’t stay locked
The room as always was perfect
The new locking system on the room doors was a bit difficult
It is clean, comfortable, warm and welcoming.
Nothing
Right near the beach and food available on site
Parking
Great seafront location, amazing views and spacious with two bedrooms. Lovely friendly staff and delicious food,,good value for money.
It’s a minor gripe but the bedroom carpet had a lot of stains on it,could be doing with a shampoo. Also very steep and narrow stairs with no lift which wasn’t an issue for us but could be for the less mobile.
Beautiful large room extremely comfortable with a great sea view
There was absolutely nothing to complain about great hotel
The room
All the stairs i have a walking stick and copd and really struggled, that you cant sit in the bar if your not eating you have to sit outside and theres not many tables
What an amazing place, very central, room clean and bed very comfortable, shower actually hot and powerful, sea views, food was beautiful they went out of their way to fit us in for an evening meal and breakfast was hearty and tasty, will definitely be back
Nothing not to like
I liked our friendly welcome. I liked the size of the room and the sea view out of the side window.
Lack of parking.
The Staff were all very welcoming and professional.. My room was large and spacious The Breakfast was freshly prepared and very tasty !!
Nothing
Victorian charm, great view from room (No6) and large bath/shower room
Stairs (I’m 71 😩)
Pease provide complementary water bottle
Location
The location, the room, the staff the food…..Everything was perfect. Whoever stays needs to eat twice, first night the pie menu and the second the steaks
Nothing not to like
loved the rooh and view
Very nice clean room with good view and all facilities/requirements well provided for in the room.
Comfortable stay
Great value. The room we booked had a great view and was very comfortable
Nothing at the price
The people, the place, for the price we paid it was fantastic, will definitely will return when back in.the area.

Good size room with beds for 4. Location was excellent. Food in the restaurant was very nice although portions aren't the biggest.
Think our room was the worst decorated having seen others. Needs updating. Need more choice of food for the kids. No pizza or pasta on the menu.
Great location with sea view and fantastic food!
Climbing four flights of stairs.
We hadden een appartement tot onze beschikking waardoor wij ook een keer op onze hotelkamer konden eten.
Staff were helpful. Beautiful view Nice room
Unable to access the family room booked. Only other room was a double. My friend slept in the bed. I slept on the floor.
My second stay at the crown, lovely friendly welcoming helpful staff. Luggage storage provided before check-in enabling me and the children to enjoy the beach and dinner before check-in time. Excellent location with everything you need around you, beautiful breakfast and evening meal was had in the bar and bistro. Absolute bonus was the fans in the rooms as it was really hot. Clean and comfortable me and the children always enjoy our stay
Style of the family room
Carpet of the room And the stink of the stairs
Very clean and the family room was a good size
Nothing everything was great
Great room. Classed as family room but actually 2 separate bedrooms. Location. Great view from top.floor room Friendly staff Comfortable Clean Value for money
Stairs. Top floor room was a fair climb but worth it.
The initial very friendly greeting from the Staff, who let us check in earlier as our room was ready and advised about where to park easily. Also they accommodated my knee injury by putting me on the 1st floor, instead of higher up. Furthermore, we were given a large room with its own Kitchen & a lovely Seaview. We had a very comfortable night's sleep too. We popped back during the day and my friend enjoyed a delicious Vegan burger and fries. The next day we had the best cooked breakfast i have had in ages, whilst sitting at the table in the Window, looking out to Sea. All delivered with that lovely Morecambe friendliness and smiles. Such great value for money. The accommodation was spotless too. Great location for our trip to the Winter Gardens to see our beloved Hawkwind! Thank you, to the lovey Owners and their team for making it so nice for us. * Nb: The Hotel did not have the Kitchen open on Monday ( Check out day) but we popped next door to Ralphy's Cafe and had a nice Breakfast there instead. I would have preferred The Crown's one but overall a great place to stay.
Breakfast on Monday would have been perfect !
Great location for us as we were visiting for an event at the winter gardens so it was just a short walk away the room was very spacious we had a family room on the top floor. Breakfast was really nice and good value for money lovely coffee and staff were very friendly.
The only things I didn’t like 1. It’s only stairs I knew that when booking however didn’t know how many stairs I’d have to climb with crutches. I still managed. 2. The shower wasn’t very powerful so took a while to rinse shampoo out of my hair. 3. No grab rail in the shower which would have been handy as I can’t stand for long periods of time and because of the water pressure being poor it took its toll. 4. The top of the headboard in the main bedroom had a thick layer of dust which set off my allergies.so had to clean that myself. 5. Breakfast wasn’t included in the price when booking however didn’t really matter as it was only £9 and really nice.
The view was lovely and the shower was easy to use. The room was comfortable. Lovely meal- wish the breakfast was included.
One issue was that although I booked for four adults, when we arrived we were told that the booking was only for two. Thankfully, this was resolved, but it was a little confusing and inconvenient on arrival. The only other downside was that the floors were quite creaky, and we could hear footsteps and movement from the room/floor above, which was a little noisy at times.
Location ok
Leaking Fan, dated bathroom, had to book breakfast, no evening meal facility.
Excellent value for money. Nice size rooms and comfortable. Friendly staff. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room.
Unfortunate the restaurant is closed on Monday but you are told this in advance so it’s ok.
Location staff and food.
Stairs.
Location,staff and the food.
The stairs.
A great location right on the front. Good value for money. Evening meal was excellent didn't have breakfast. The room was basic but comfortable. The shower was warmish even on high setting. Noisy during the night with the other guests.
Excellent location on the seafront. We had room 3, on first floor and superb views. Sofa and bed ridiculously comfortable. Breakfast was v good too.
Access to bedrooms (stairs only) is a bit tired but this is a minor detail.
Great location
Close to the sea front, large rooms
The shower was either too hot or too cold, could not get it right, but that might be me
Lovely hotel, prime location, wonderful staff, clean!
Loved every minute of it. Even tried to stay another night but they were booked solid!
staff were rud to me it was 5am in the morning someone was cleaning windows
Fantastic stay an great breakfast
No complaints
Brilliant staff and room
Nothing
The Crown is perfectly situated on the sea front very near to the statue of Eric Morecambe. As foot passengers we were delighted at the nearness of bus stops and the delights of a walk in either direction. The hotel is relatively old and unspoiled, but our room was very well fitted. The bay window gave a great view stretching to either end of Morecambe Bay. The food we would describe as high end pub grub and all of the dishes we have tried were excellent. The cement that binds a business like this is its staff, and we could not fault them. Nothing was too much trouble.
Nothing. We will definitely be going back!
Central location, very clean, the mattress was comfier than home, little touches made our stay perfect , definitely recommend
There wasn’t a shower mat in the bathroom so we had to put a towel down
The room size and it was like a little 2 bed flat.
The noise of the boiler from premises next door. It went on all night unfortunately
Perfect location.
Nothing.
Location, value for money
Room was clean, but public areas in need of attention Continental breakfast poor Cost and inconvenience of parking

Lovely room, spacious and very comfortable. Great sea view. We also had a fabulous breakfast.
Nothing
Staff are amazing. A genuine wanting to make your stay the best it can be. Dinner was to a high standard and my wife’s dietary requirements were dealt with quietly and without fuss. The room was fine. We could see the sea from our windows. The bed was adequate but not what we are used to.
The bed could have been better, but everything else was great.
The best room in the house , 1st floor overlooking the magnificent Morecambe Bay, evening restaurant was lively and the staff were wonderful, so was the steak pie
No meet and greet, no friendly welcome, although the 'chalet maid ' was bubbly and chatted to us when we we're going to our room.
Excellent room, pleasant staff, enjoyable food.and a friendly atmosphere.
We didn't encounter any problems.
Location amazing, breakfast fab, family room was actually a suite of two individual rooms which was a luxury compared to our usual Premier Inn experiences. View out the huge windows was one of the best I've ever had in a hotel, perfect to catch the sunset. Also I completely forgot to pay for the breakfast but staff were completely friendly and understanding when I popped back several hours later to pay. We parked in the public car park opposite for a cost, but if we didn't have small kids with us we'd have gone a little further up and found a free spot on the street.
Heatwave + period feature big sash windows that can't safely be opened very much meant it was pretty warm, but big fans helped a lot.
Very clean & good location
Nothing all good
Great wee hotel, very clean and comfortable, great position right on the promenade, staff are lovely and the food is excellent, best breakfast ever!,value for money on all levels!
De ligging

They allowed us to arrive late at night/very early morning, easy to find. Huge room, had everything we needed.
Nothing to dislike.
Fan was in room Ironing facilities in room Large walk in shower Black out curtains Side Sea view
Could of done with a mini fridge And taps were very hard to turn on and off Limited plugs no plug socket near mirror
Facilities, location, staff and the food was exceptional!

No accessible to the bedrooms, only by stairs
The staff were so friendly and the roast dinner was delicious. Drinks were extremely reasonably priced and the location was great
The sofa in the room was well worn but overall we enjoyed our night there
Great location free parking outside the hotel towels nice and thick good shower great price
Only stayed one night golfing
Eigen opgang, super vriendelijk, grote kamer met alle gemakken. Heel goede locatie met een super ontbijt!

Old fashioned decor.

Niks
Sehr zentral an der Promenade gelegen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gemütlich.
Das Treppenhaus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und mieft etwas. Die Lüftung vom Restaurant hört man nachts etwas.
Friendly staff, a great location on the seafront. Good restaurant. Nice large room.
No lift to the rooms. Not very good if you have heavy cases.
Love this property and the friendly atmosphere. Ideally situated for us travelling back to Scotland. Always welcoming, rooms are fresh and clean and the restaurant is a must. Food is so good!
Maybe the presence of seagulls but it’s beside the sea and there’s not much you can do apart from visit the car wash. Minor nuisance
Gorgeous room! Had a side view of the sea which was perfect for watching the sunset. Lovely bed and spacious room. Plenty of plugs.
There wasn't on site parking, but there were so many public ones just minutes away that offered plenty of choice for long or short term options, so it wasn't an issue.
We loved our weekend here. A very nice place , friendly helpful staff, our room was really nice and comfortable. A great sea view through one of the windows. And in a great location. We will definitely stay again. .
Lovely room. Amazing views! Nice breakfast (additional cost ). Location central. We had room 3.
Nothing.
All staff were lovely, really friendly & welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Great location and the room was fab! Very clean, light, airy and spacious. Beds were very comfy. Loved all the little touches that you don't get in just any old hotel. My son especially loved sitting in the window looking out with the binoculars. Would definitely recommend and we will return 🙂
Really friendly and helpful staff, the view from our room was brilliant, comfortable, clean room with plenty of space. We didn’t have dinner but the lady in the shop next door said The Crown’s fish pie is amazing!
We had a little difficulty using the shower but I think that was more us than the new shower
View from room excellent binoculars included😍 very clean small beach. Lots of world food huts opposite hotel. Set up all day. Local wetherspoons for cheap dinner breakfast etc.
Nothing. just one night in morcambe it was perfect 👌 not a lot going on at all but lovely to just get away looking at the sunset / sunrise overlooking very clean beach and a kids play area over the road.
Great location and view from the room
Lovely large room, sea view. Excellent food, book your table in advance to make sure you get in.
The hotel had a great location and a few minutes walk from the train station and city centre. The rooms were lovely, spacious and comfortable bed. A nice shower and room was spotless and had nice big windows. I did not try breakfast as items were individually priced ( a reasonable price of £9 for the cooked breakfast but other items were separate). The only down side is there is no lift (if you had heavy luggage like me and your room is on last floor). Elsewhere the hotel was charming, clean carpets allover, and with a beautiful building.
Just the 2 things I mentioned (no lift although the stairs were spotless and well decorated) and the individually priced breakfast. Weather was not great but still enjoyed my stay.
