Belle-Vue

I stayed at Belle Vue for five nights while attending a course in the area. The owners Tracey and Mick were very welcoming and made me feel at home without. My room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfasts were superb. The fresh fruit platter was especially good. The location is very convenient for walks up Glastonbury Tor and the town centre.

Very friendly hosts. Rooms were spotless and spacious.Had everything you needed. Kettle with tea/coffee and biscuits.The breakfast was delicious. Lovely fruit salad to start. And a great idea giving you a list to choose what you wanted for breakfast the next day. We had a full cooked breakfast the first morning and the next morning we had poached egg on toast with beans. It was delicious 😋 the location was perfect. 5 min walk into town and to the abbey. We will definetly return.

The room was clean and smart and a good size for a single. Off road parking a definite plus. Nice cooked breakfast. Great location a very short walk from the centre and in sight of the Tor.

Good location to walk into town. Good size room which was serviced daily. Staff had local knowledge and willing to share. Good parking on-site. Breakfast freshly prepared, menu choices available but no cereal and limited to one choice off the menu.

Very steep stairs however the host helped taking suitcases up and there were some downstairs rooms.

Tanto Tracey como Mick fueron siempre muy atentos fijándose en cada detalle para que mi estadía fuese lo más placentera posible. Además, la ubicación es excelente para las principales atracciones y del centro del pueblo. Definitivamente, lo recomiendo.

A fridge to store water

A fantastic place that is both central as well as quiet all at the same time. To come back after traveling around to a clean bed and fresh towels is something I'll never take for granted. Such friendly hosts too that invite strangers of all kind into their space, providing good recommendations and lovely conversations. We had a wonderful time.

Upon arrival of the property, I let Mick and Tracey know that since I'd decided to camp instead, I was no longer in need of the room - but requested instead that they could keep my payment and let my wife use the shower in the morning. They refused. (understandable and acceptable, one might say). What was not acceptable was their demands for me to pay them a second time, with a card reader that was suddenly shoved in my face. When I tried to explain that I've already paid (it's a tough one, explaining complicated things like 'online payments' to the elderly), they proceeded to insult me, asking why is wasn't 'sinking in' that I needed to pay again. I left, reminded once again of the arrogance and frankly just stupidity of the entitled generation of whom have fought for little, yet somehow entitled to utter superiority. Don't stay at the property. I have no idea how the room was, but a sour faced, rude and pig headed couple should be enough to deter anyone with a shred of sensibility. Mick and Tracey - a shining example of why the BnB business is rapidly going under. Next time, check that you've been paid before trying to scam your visitors out of a second payment with a card reader.

The location was perfect, free onsite parking and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming . Breakfast was freshly made and good quality, and a wide choice.

De accommodatie was erg netjes en de kamer was ruimer dan verwacht. Elke ochtend stond er een goed verzorgd ontbijt klaar, met heerlijke koffie. Zeker een aanrader!

Parking space provided, lovely clean and spacious room with wonderful view, good shower and really comfortable bed. Good storage, had great nights sleep. Lovely quiet room! Nice breakfast and Tracey was very friendly and attentive. I liked that it’s very close to everything too.

Would have liked a bit more variety on breakfast menu eg porridge, fried bread, yoghurts and croissants would be a nice touch. And maybe offer another juice as there was only orange. I’d be happy to pay a bit more for these. But all in all a lovely stay.

Location is convenient to walk everywhere so excellent, Tracey and Mike are welcoming friendly hosts. A good breakfast but a little smaller than my previous B&B. The ground floor room was very clean and convenient.

I know a lot of people like and use fabric conditioner but for me the scent was extremely strong so I opened the windows to air the room then sprayed my pillow with a natural spray. Using unscented conditioner may be a good idea.

Michael and Tracey are friendly,polite and great hosts. Debrief on arrival re parking, breakfast etc. Tracey was good at directing me re gluten free and what not to have. Gluten free toast provided. Breakfast cooked to order. Hot and tasty. Fruit was fresh and cold. Accommodated me with lemon and hot water first thing. Comfortable dining room. Bedroom Room 1 - cosy for singleton. Good size bathroom. Shower only and a good size.. Does smell of damp all day and owner has been informed. ( as of March 14th 2026) Parking at front. Consideration- if you are used to noise that is good as this room is on the front and traffic starts around 4am ish. The venue is extremely well heated when required. No takeaways etc allowed to be eaten in bedrooms. Only 200 meter walk into town centre. Several good restaurants around. Paid car park in town centre does get busy and is expensive. ' The Chalice Well' is near by to walk. Tip- if you visit take empty bottles to fill for healing water which is free. If no bottle £3.50 charge at the shop. Belle Veu is Reasonably priced for Glastonbury. An absolute joy to visit this town for a retreat. Feeling well balanced.

One of the reasons our stay at Glastonbury was so memorable and pleasant, the couple running this accomodation was charming,kind, so very hospitable, the room was clean and smelled pleasantly. The breakfast ( very yummy)was accompanied by smile. If you look for a friendly place where people care about your experience go there.

I've stayed at Belle Vue many times over the years but not as a solo traveller. It's always like a home from home and Belle Vue was my first choice for my solo trip. I wouldn't have stayed anywhere else 😊

Das Frühstück war ausreichend und gut.Die Gastgeber hatten flexible Möglichkeiten angeboten.Besonders die frischen Früchte, die sogar schon aufgeschnitten waren, haben uns geschmeckt.Die Dusche war perfekt und das Zimmer immer sehr sauber.

Die Gastgeberin war etwas ängstlich und als wir müde nach stundenlanger Autofahrt ankamen, konnten wir sie nur mit Mühe überzeugen, dass das 12 jährige Kind unserer Fahrerin, die uns hinbrachte aber an einem anderen Ort wohnte, kurz auf die Toilette gehen durfte.Ebenso war sie erstaunt und überrascht, dass wir Zeit untertags im Zimmer verbrachten.

Location was great for access to the Town. The hosts were very caring and the room had everything one could want and more. The day started with a delicious, hearty breakfast.

Belle Vue is always our first choice of place to stay in Glastonbury. Ideal location, lovely welcome, looking forward to our next visit.

The room was spotless and the location was perfect, a 5 min walk into town and the Tor can be seen perfectly from across the road from the guesthouse. Tracey went out and got us a fan for the room as last week was ridiculously hot, thank you. Plenty of plugs and adaptors for phones cameras etc. Tracey and Mick were perfect hosts and gave us great ideas for sightseeing and the breakfast every morning was delicious. Thank you very much.

The property was in a great location, 5 minutes from the High Street. Beautifully decorated and maintained. My room was comfortable and had everything I needed. There were lots of options for breakfast and full English was beautifully cooked. The hosts, Mick and Tracey, were lovely, friendly, helpful and very welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again if I go back to Glastonbury.

Belle Vue with Tracey and Mick is a paradise to stay at Glastonbury with family. Spotlessly clean, peaceful, super comfy, welcoming. They make you feel at home from the beginning, even before arrival.

I'd only like to swap the vegetarian sausage in the breakfast for a vegan one (which is still suitable for vegetarians). Maybe even offer vegan cheese?

Nothing to dislike about Belleview and the hosts. I didn't like the sub company who the payment went through. Having committed to pay via booking.com I didn't like getting payment demands. They also took the payment twice but did refund immediately.

Mike and Tracey were fabulous hosts. Tracey did a wonderful breakfast! Lovely people we enjoyed our stay with them and Belle Vue was so convenient as we could walk to town or climb the Tor.

Since my room is on the ground floor, the room gets cold during some nights when the temperature drops below 3 degrees centigrade. It gets better in other nights when the temperature stays above 10. Extra blankets are available.

Central to Glastonbury; used as a base to explore the town and its facilities and attractions, and also to places further afield. The rooms were stylishly decorated and immaculately clean. The hosts were friendly and served a wide range of breakfast options.

Had to be out of your room every morning from 10 until 12 so it could be cleaned, I was fell quite ill so this so this was hard as there was no where warm I could just sit, no lounge area.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Bellevue Guesthouse in Glastonbury, and it truly exceeded our expectations! The location is perfect, just a short walk from the center of town and all its mystical charm. Whether you're visiting the Tor or exploring the Abbey, everything is so easily accessible. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with gardens that reflect the peaceful nature of Glastonbury. Our room was not only comfortable but also thoughtfully prepared with every detail taken care of...it felt like a true retreat. As compassionate vegans, we were delighted to find that they offered a vegan option for breakfast, which was delicious and much appreciated. It’s not always easy to find, and they made sure we were well taken care of. We can’t recommend The Bellevue Guesthouse enough if you're looking for a warm, welcoming stay in Glastonbury. A truly wonderful experience!

It is very quiet, wifi is working fine, it is close to the city centre, and they serve very tasty breakfasts. It feels like home away from home.

An early check in was accommodated without a problem. The B and B was easy to find and parking was straight forward. We found access to the town and the TOR was convenient. The host and hostess were delightful. The room we stayed in was spotlessly clean.

Outside of the control of the owners but the property is on a busy road so being hot summer weather I had window open which meant traffic noise was a bit intrusive (my room was at the front of the house). Also, people walking up the road late at night were rather loud with pretty colourful language.

A proper bed and breakfast which are so hard to find these days. A friendly welcome on arrival, all the necessities with the addition of daily biscuits to go with your cuppa,and on top of usual bath wash,shampoo,there was body lotion ,I'd forgotten mine. All little extras you don't always get. Breakfast was cooked to order and the fresh fruit platter was a bonus. Ideally situated between town and tor, it was perfect. Thank you so much Tracey and Mick. I loved my stay here.

Very limited car parking facilities so if there are 2 cars parked it's hard to exit vehicle, especially if you are a blue badge holder. To be fair, this is more to do with other guests and not the actual B & B.

Fabulous location. Close to town centre but also on the direct route to the Glastonbury Tor. Hosts, Mick & Tracey, are very kind and accommodating. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Hot cooked breakfast was available in the morning along with juice, cold cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit place. Recommendations for lunch (Rainbows End) and dinner (Elaichi Tandoori Restaurant) were excellent. Would highly recommend Belle Vue when you’re staying in Glastonbury.

Everything was excellent.

Clean facilities, comfortable beds, all facilities met our needs. Room being at the back of the house was quiet, lovely view. Lovely hosts, breakfasts excellent. Perfect location on the edge of town.

If you are looking for a B&B in Glastonbury, stop searching and book in at Belle Vue, you will not be disappointed! Super rooms, immaculate, great hosts, comfy beds, hot showers and delish brekkie. Oh and there is parking!! Everything is thought of! Great little find

Just a very small thing, the double room had two single beds pushed together. This wasn't mentioned in the description and was a little uncomfortable if rolled into middle if the bed, apart from this, everything was lovely, the hosts were polite and unobtrusive.
