The Glastonbury Town House

The room was lovely, cosy, clean and welcoming. Great location too – opposite a supermarket with charging for the electric car and a short walk to the centre. Paula is a perfect host, and I always try and book the Town House whenever I visit Glastonbury.

This genuinely has to be the loveliest B&B I've ever stayed in. Everything is perfect! Paula is a wonderful host, so friendly and helpful. The accommodation is spotless and spacious. The breakfast was varied and totally delicious. The location is perfect. I cannot recommend The Glastonbury Town House highly enough. I will certainly be back!!

Everything. The accommodation was very comfortable and the attention to detail was amazing, everything has been thought through very carefully for all your needs and requirements. The food was delicious, catering for all dietary requirements. Nothing was too much trouble. Paula and her partner have pulled out all the stops to make this wonderful experience.

This B&B exceeded my expectations. A perfect combination of location, cleanliness, atmosphere, friendliness, hospitality, etc., 10 out of 10. Breakfast was better than in many 4-star hotels, with hot food options (vegan, vegetarian as well gluten free bread) and a nice variety of cold options, yogurt (greek and dairy-free), jams, cereals, porridge, and pastries. There is a bus stop in front of the property, perfect if you are coming from Castle Cary, and the high stree is around 3-5 minutes walking distance with the next bus stop. A big Morrisons closer to the property.

The accommodation was in a good location and spotless. The breakfast was great. Paula, the host was lovely.

This place is an absolute gem! Thoughtfully laid out room with everything you could possibly need including a very generous tea tray. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The breakfast choice was great and so wonderfully tasty. Perfect friendly host. Even the most fussy guest would find it hard to fault this place!

Paula was very helpful, letting us know about potential traffic problems when en route. The room was spotless and very nicely decorated with nice touches like fresh milk, wine glasses and access to a fridge downstairs if we wanted to chill our own wine. There’s a nice garden to cool down in and the breakfast was super, with lots of choice. Defo my favourite place in Glastonbury.

The Glastonbury Town House exceeded my expectations. The room was comfortable, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The location was perfect for exploring Glastonbury on foot, and the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to relax after a full day of sightseeing. The attention to detail and overall quality of the accommodation made my stay truly enjoyable.

My stay was excellent from start to finish. If I had to mention something, it would only be that my visit was too short. Everything was well organized, comfortable, and met or exceeded my expectations.

We loved the hospitality and that you felt really welcome. The guests have their own private place in the garden. The breakfast was quick, tasty and made with love. We only stayed for two nights, but I will definitely stay here if I visit again. You're a blessing, thanks for the stay!

Okay, was there anything to not like? Yes, it was really hot the first night, and you wanted to have the windows open, and the traffic was quite loud. I had earplugs so I slept well.

すべて素晴らしかったです！迎えてくれたおふたりも、とても明るく新設で、フレンドリーに接してくれました。お部屋も明るくキレイでお部屋についてるトイレとバスタブ付シャワーも快適でした。お部屋にはティーパックなど数種類の準備、お湯をわかせます。ガーデンでくつろぐこともできます。1泊しかできなかったのが残念です。朝食もたくさんのメニューが用意されていて、選ぶことができます。そしてとてもおいしいかった！ロンドンへ戻るバス停が目の前なのでチェックアウトの後も安心でした。また来ることがあればここに泊まりたいと友人とも興奮しました！全てに心配りが感じられました。ほんとに素晴らしい時間をありがとうございました！

Perfect location for walking into the town, and to the Tor. Room was beautifully appointed and breakfast outstanding. Also a really nice seating area in the garden. Such a warm and friendly welcome from Paula!

It was on a busy road but that can’t be helped - it wouldn’t put me off staying there again.

Beautifully decorated, very comfortable. Everything you could need for a relaxing break away. Host was lovely, nothing was too much trouble...was even able to arrange a birthday cake surprise with them for my husband. The breakfast was sublime and a fabulous selection. Location was spot on...everything in walking distance. Highly recommend, we'll definitely be back! Parking on site, with an optional early check in was perfect.

Everything! Paula is warm and friendly. The communication was great, she met me onsite, showed me my beautiful room and explained breakfast. I got to have a wonderful bath after a huge day of walking and travel. The bed was so comfortable and breakfast! Probably the best I've ever had. The tea and coffee selections in the room were amazing too. Every detail seems so well thought out. The Townhouse is so close to all the sights and Paula even looked after my bags whilst I spent the day around the town. Supermarket right across the road Perfect stay in Glastonbury.

Paula was very welcoming and warm. The room was quiet, comfortable and very homely. The breakfast menu is a real treat with a lovely selection of traditional breakfast and continental too along with fresh fruits! The location is about 10mins walk to the centre and had parking.

Amazing B&B. Very clean, lovely decor throughout, beds very comfortable. It was very local location but also very quiet. The breakfast was amazing, the food was exceptional quality.

Paula is a wonderful host of a beautiful B&B. She gave me a warm welcome and pointed out the most important directions and sights in Glastonbury. The room was cozy, clean and provided everything I needed. The breakfast was really, really good – one of the highlights. I loved the vegan version of the Full English Breakfast, as well as the fresh berries, nuts & seeds and plant-based yogurt. From Paula's place it's easy to explore the town centre, as well as the Tor.

This B&B is absolutely lovely! The bed was incredibly comfortable, my room was lovely, everything is very clean & the breakfast was amazing. Paula is a wonderful host. It's such a cozy place and very close to the town centre. I would def book there again!

The friendly welcome from the landlady, the breakfast, the room which was very comfortable and clean, the closeness to Glastonbury town centre. I liked basically everything.

The only thing I can think of is my room was slightly too warm at times because it faced south so got a lot of sun. Apart from that, everything was great.

Absolutely gorgeous feels-like-home accommodation, with a very warm welcome from the owner setting the scene for a wonderful 2-night stay. The twin bedroom and en-suite bathroom had everything we needed, with the beds and pillows being super-comfy. We slept like babies. Fabulous range of teas etc available in the room, and really appreciated we could pop down to the dining room and get whatever kind of milk we needed from the fridge! Breakfast was delicious, with scrumptious home-made jams and local bacon and sausages.

We cannot think of anything we didn’t like: the place had every item of comfort we could need. Also managed to get a car-parking space on their driveway, which was appreciated. So no, there is nothing I can add here as there was nothing to fault.

We loved everything about it. Paula was brilliant and made us feel so welcome. Comfortable room and beds, nice and quiet. The breakfasts were amazing with lots of choice. Five minutes to walk into Glastonbury centre. We would absolutely stay here again.

All the hygge-cosy warm comfort vibes in the form of all the lovely attention to detail thoughtfully-curated touches by the gracefully warm & accommodating hostess with the mostess Paula didn't go unnoticed at all by this specific solo female guest of a certain age, I was simply blown away how warm, inviting & cosy it really was(lovely, modern, hygienically sparkly clean, easy to operate en-suite bathroom with the option of a relaxing bath tub soak makes it a Glastonbury hospitality gem of a small family-run independent community guest establishment)! 💯🏡🌸✨ Another delight & highlight was the *breakfast with the opportunity of scrumptious fresh berry (first for me in a B&B establishment 💯) trio assortment complete with Greek Yogurt, thank you Paula and the behind the scene supportive team dynamic behind your drive to help create the best energy environment to make your guests feel at home(literally felt like a home from home welcoming space especially with the accessible tranquil garden space outside:-). I felt I struck gold with Paula's chosen partner tea / coffee supplier brand Clipper(such a wholesome & decent UK brand with fair trading ethos at the core) not to mention the thoughtful practicality of a wee ceramic dish for placing dripping wet teabags, again small wee things are appreciated 💯 * Nice to see fresh produce is locally produced & sourced whenever possible 🍓 Free toiletries were also a lovely touch(loveliest citrus scent:-) although I am hoping if Paula fancies a change in the future I wholeheartedly recommend the well-established British production brand "faith in nature" to bulk buy direct from them(nope, I'm not affiliated with them in anyway just a long time loyal supportive old school customer of a few decades now, eek I'm positively ancient lol💯).

We arranged to arrive early and everything went well. Everything was very clean and tidy and the breakfast was excellent.

The location is ideal with a short walk into the town and other attractions. Breakfast was wonderful with options for cooked as well. Everything was well thought of.
