A little out of the way but parking is right there so not a problem.

Loud elevator ruined things. Room was large, clean, and comfortable, except the clanking of the elevator was too annoying for rest. This was true even for a room 4 doors down from it. Good fitness center.

This hotel is close to plaza's with lots of food and shopping options. The moment I walked into the lobby, I was greeted with 2 big smiles, check-in was smooth and quick. The outside and interior corridors and lobby are immaculate. This is my 2nd of 5 days here and so far I have no complaints at all. The breakfast was delicious this morning with everything from cold cereals, oatmeal, yogurts, fruit, hot items this morning were waffle maker, egg & cheese omelette, sausage links, bacon, and baked beans. All kinds of breads and baked goods. Condiments including pb & j, cream cheese, butter, and toppings you can put on your oatmeal and yogurts. Full juice dispenser including orange, cranberry, apple (touchless which I love). They have a large glass canister of fruit infused water in the lobby, such a nice touch! The fitness center... WOW!!! No weight machines BUT they have state of the art cardio machines including a recumbent bike, treadmills, a spinning bike, and stair masters. They have a boxing bag, exercise balls, floor mats, a bunch of hand weights and bench. Clean, comfortable temperate and plenty of towels. There's even a scale to weigh yourself and also an automatic water dispenser. I am very impressed with their fitness center. My room is very spacious with a microwave, keurig coffee maker with all the condiments and k-cups, nice size mini fridge. The lighting is great, carpets seem new and the BED...OMG... SO comfortable!! I never want to leave. There's a nice size sitting are with a beautiful tan leather sofa and flat screen tv. I work remotely so the desk area is very spacious for me to lay out all my things. There's even a nice half dresser to lay your opened suitcase on. The bathroom is very spacious too - clean, modern and good water pressure. No bathtub but it is a walk-in shower with a glass sliding door. I requested a high floor away from the elevator (i'm a sound sleeper) and got what I requested. I was having an issue with one of the pieces of exercise equipment - I called the front desk from the house phone and the manager came right to me within 1 minute. I went to the front desk today to request some information for my room invoice and I was assisted right away. All in all, I have zero complaints. I come to the area at least once a month and look forward to making this hotel my home away from home.

Room was clean and neat…window blinds did a good job of stopping annoying external illumination. Shower was excellent. Bed was comfortable and good choice of pillow style. Breakfast was clean and well stocked.

No charge for parking would have been a good thing. At the price of a nights stay, the added, ( after checkout to my credit card, NOT on the room bill )of $15.00 per night, ( $60.00 for 3 nights…) was an unwelcome surprise.

The AC stopped working 3 times in the night and had to be reset. Charging $5 for overnight parking is ridiculous. There is nowhere else to park so you are just gouging your guests. I can't remember that last time I had to pay to park at a hotel. At least make it a perk for Bonvoy members.

Let front desk know on 1day and still not repaired by check out - feel like request to get working feel on deaf ears. For a hotel that rates itself as good for business travellers, this is not the case with non working USB ports Asked at front desk if they had a spot for phone charging, told no. Not helpful at all. Parking is very confusing - signs say Paid Parking must be displayed to avoid ticketing but front desk says to ignore signs and just park in any spot but did need to give plate #.

The continental breakfast, was pretty bare and very little selection. The options that were available were enjoyable, but not restocked for a long time.

Ensure fully stocked selection and fruit would have been a nice option for the kids playing sports.

The staff were very accommodating and very friendly

Because I was there for work it was very important to have Wi-Fi the Wi-Fi went down which is not their fault it was down for half a day it came back up then there was an issue with the TV the elevators are so loud that if you're going to stay you have to make sure to ask to be as far away from them as possible I was right next door to the elevators and it kept me up half the night.

We had a family trip from Ottawa to Toronto for a weekend. Decided to stay in Newmarket for 2 nights. Beautiful hotel. Good breakfast. We didn’t go the pool. Other guests enjoyed it.

The Keurig Coffee machine made brewing noises, but did not produce any coffee in the cup. We know how to operate Keurig machines and this seems to have been problem with other guests too, and evidenced by other reviews and water in the reservoir before we added any. The $5 charge for parking seemed unnecessary and perhaps even petty, so purely for the optics, we would have preferred for this parking charge to be added to the room rate so that we were unaware of it's existence.

Excellent breakfast, nice staff. Nice decor

The suite had a kitchenette, however there were empty cupboards and drawers. No glasses, dishes or utensils and don't think the sink was hooked up. Choose this room for the kitchenette but wasn't operational. Paid for something that wasn't completed.

Scored great parking!

Enjoyed the decor and ambiance of the renovated hotel. The location was well suited for where I had to go. The setting with all the trees and greenery set a relaxing atmosphere, as well as, how quiet the hotel was.

The lack of several things such as a list of amenities the hotel has to offer and times for things placed in each room such as when the breakfast room is opened, TV channels available, a little note paper/pad, a little dish soap in the king jr suite and perhaps even a nice reading chair in the bedroom.

Very nice!! Only one small complaint. There is a fee for parking. Small fee, but why???

The room and facilities were great reception desk to slow and haven’t sent me a receipt for my one night stay.

The 3rd Floor ...room the curtains did not close all the way ..therefore the lights from the backside access area were soo bright shining through the window.. causing me to be restless all night . The curtains do not block out the light coming through.

no water pressure from rain shower type of shower head. Just a light dribble. Flashing light and alarm on wall set off at about 9am Sunday morning. Presume it as a fire alarm? There is a charge still showing on my card for $250:00 (damage deposit?) I want it removed immediately. I checked out Sunday and the charge is still showing Tuesday.

All air was shut off in the room. It had a musty smell and it was 28c in the room... it was 31 outside that day... it never made it under 24c when we left. We wont be back.

Here’s a cleaner, casual version: ⸻ The bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned—there was mucus on the shower door. The sheets had several stains. It was very noisy, with people hanging around the hallway and others arguing from the neighbouring room, making it hard to relax up until 1:00am. Also, only two towels were provided for four guests… THIS IS YOUR WARNING

Everything was good

Breakfast was included and started at 7:30 to 9:30 , we went there at 9 and every time I had to walk back to kitchen to get stuff like ( bread , tea ), I didn’t see any one to come and check anything. Also bedding smells so bad , I always took my sheets and change it , still pillows were uncomfortable and smells awful. We were there last year too but everything was ok and that’s why we chose the same hotel.

The receptionist ,Ms Rossana is very accomadation and friendly!

I was awakened by the elevator at 4 am and couldn't get back to sleep. VERY LOUD mechanical noise for hours. I asked for a refund/extra night stay down the hall but they said the manager would have to make a decision on the compensation. So, they could have charged me for it. I left.

The staff were simply perfect.

The hotel is located in nice and convenient location near two plazas with supermarket and food. The hotel management and house keeping doesn't exist at all. The Indian resptionists, manager and house keeping are worst I have ever seen in my 40 years traveling. The rooms are not cleaned, bed sheets were not changed over 3 weeks we had to stay there, tables not cleaned, beds not cleaned. One night we came back and noticed the cleaner had slept on our bed and left her cleaning stuff when in rush to leave. We complained and they said after 5pm they have no staff. Don't stay here, absolute mess and garbage and waste on money. Breakfast is garbage too. Will never go back there. Pls don't go unless the management is changed.

We enjoyed the quiet room. The staff was very helpful and answered any questions we had. We had a city Pass for Toronto upon arrival were a little worried about how far it was, there is easy access to the 401,407,and 405, which made the trip into Toronto easier. Newmarket has everything you might need, restaurants, fast foods, Walmart. The only complaint we would have is that breakfast was never hot ( beans,eggs,sausage)

Room was beautifully renovated. Bed was very comfortable. Most importantly everywhere was CLEAN. Cambodian restaurant next door was a delightful treat as they met my dietary restrictions. Great FIND.,

No coffee in lobby. Washroom on main floor closed. Dirt on couch. No tv remote. No AC in the suite livingroom. No bag for laundry. TV channel selection very limited. Unacceptable for Marriott and price.

Met all my expectations

Was there for a wedding .came back on the shuttle only to find the elevators were not working..We were on 4th floor. Two people in our party had recent knee replacements, couldn't do the stairs., but had no other choice to get to our rooms...next morning elevators still out of order..My husband had to make 2 trips to bring our belongings down because I wasn't able to help ( I was one with replacement). This issue should have been resolved...no one at the front desk could have cared aless...no discount for inconvenience, gave us a card to call Mohan. Nothing resolved... breakfast area is too cramped..won't be visiting this hotel again ..

With their renovations pretty much complete, and the property rebranded, we thought we'd be having another good visit in Newmarket.

When we checked in on Saturday evening, we noticed one of the elevators was out of order. The next morning we found out the 2nd elevator was now broken down so no vertical transportation. I was travelling with my elderly 93 year old father and a cousin that has a bad knee. We were on the 5th floor, so needed to go down for breakfast, then up to pack up and then down again to check out. This was very difficult for my father. He needed to take it quite slow and rest at just about every landing in the stairwell. The room was great. Our companion travellers had a coffee machine that didn't work in their room. They are familiar with that type of machine and used all 3 k-cups to get it going, but no success. Included breakfast was good, however lot of us waiting around for the eggs to be replenished and the pancake bag to be replaced. Things just seemed off this trip. Hopefully everything will be back in order for my next visit there.

Staff awesome, gave 4 for property as it is not quite up to Marriott standard as is in transition but expect this will be an amazing facility for travellers soon.

Upon returning from a wedding on a shuttle with probably 20 other people we discovered that both elevators were not working. It took my husband 20 minutes to get to the 3rd floor as he has recently had both hips replaced. At check out at 11am elevators were still not working. We asked for some compensation and were told flat out ‘No’ and given a number to call. Well I called that number and ‘Mohan’ doesn’t believe that any compensation is justified. Great customer service. NOT! Won’t be going there again.

For me the AC is too noisy and i would appreciate grab bars inthe shower plus the toilets are the old fashion height. It would be nice if these could be replaced with the next height.

Place was just renovated and was really nice. Great value for the hotel.

Facilities are very appealing. Ambiance is lovely on entry, very clean and welcoming. Room was impeccable and beds were very comfortable.

Very nicely renovated. Clean modern room. Big, clean dining area. Well maintained pool. I will definitely return. It is away from the noise and busyness but within 10 mins of everything.

Absolutely wonderful. The renovation is beautiful. We hosted an event here and were very happy with the ambiance and attention to details.

Please do not, I beg you, do not have the milk in this hotel. We got a cup of it to enjoy later, kept it in the fridge and it congealed. We tried the next day in our coffee and the consistency of it was anything but milk. The keurig in the room didn’t work, I use one at home everyday so I can assure it wasn’t user error. We never got clean towels, barely made the bed, and didn’t feel we got a visit from housekeeping. The sausage at breakfast looked like it could give you food poisoning, the eggs appeared fake, it was a waste of time trying to find food options. I wish I stayed at a different hotel and didn’t have to live through the experience at this one.

Property is nice and clean with lovely bedrooms. The only downside is limited breakfast options especially if you have any dietary requirements such as vegan/gluten free etc. This hotel only recently opened so it may change in the future. you also get a fridge/microwave in your room, so bringing your own food is possible. Local supermarkets and restaurants also offer a vareity of foods, so it was workable.

Overall it was great! Definitely will be coming back again!
