No elevator. Front desk staff was very friendly when we first arrived to check in, but then as we left not even a goodbye.

En la regadera de la llave del agua caliente vibraba muy feo y no la arreglaron en mi estancia. El hospedaje incluyó el desayuno, pero no me gustó nada, preferí desayunar en otro lugar. No hay estacionamiento, te apoyan en llevar tu coche a un estacionamiento cerca, pero cuándo ya estás de salida no te avisan que tu coche está a unos metros del hotel, tuve q cargar mis maletas y no recibí ayuda.

Reviewed May 20, 2026This beautiful hotel is in the heart of the historic center, convenient to everything. Our room was spacious, bed was very comfortable, plenty of hot water for a good shower. There wasn’t AC, but two powerful fans kept the room comfortable. The rooftop breakfast was amazing. Without our asking, they offered to make a special vegan plate for us every morning for six days—beyond delicious! Plus fresh fruit and oatmeal! Traditional offerings were also served in generous portions. All of the staff were kind and friendly. The rooftop is also great for an evening meal with live music. Music ends at 10 and our room was quiet at night. Great huge wooden window shutters block out all light and noise. Highly recommended!
Not an issue for us, but there are stairs required for most rooms and to access the rooftop breakfast area.

Reviewed Dec 27, 2025Según nos mejoraron el desayuno a Americano, el cual se supone que te lo pueden llevar a la habitación o puedes ir a su terraza. Nosotros fuimos a su terraza y el desayuno incluía fruta, café y jugo, avena, un pan dulce y el plato fuerte que se escogía entre varias opciones. Nosotros escogimos chilaquiles y hot cakes y no pudimos con tanta comida jaja pero todo estaba muy rico. La atención del personal fue muy amable tanto de la recepción, como la terraza y el servicio a la habitación. El estacionamiento se veía bien, aunque estaba un poco alejado (como una cuadra) y cobraba $200x24hrs por el convenio del hotel y el estacionamiento público pero no le dimos uso así que cada quién. El único inconveniente fue que el cuarto que nos tocó estaba en la primera planta y la ventana que daba al exterior daba como tal a la banqueta a la altura de los peatones y se veía mucho hacia adentro por lo que la tuvimos que mantener cerrada casi en toda nuestra estancia. Pero, tanto la puerta del cuarto como la ventana, contaba con unas puertas de madera que cerraban muy bien oscureciendo muy cómodo el cuarto. También nos dimos cuenta que bloqueaban muy bien el sonido exterior.

El desayuno muy rico y basto, a mi familia a mi nos encantó el servicio y calidad de los alimentos. La habitación muy cómoda y linda, no esperaba las amenidades en la habitación que eso es un plus.

Reviewed Nov 2, 2025This is a great find of a hotel --- it is conveniently located, comfortable, has extremely nice staffing, and the rooms are really pretty. Loved everything about the hard and soft furnishings. The breakfast was superb. We actually had to tell our waiter on the 2nd day to reduce the portions. At this price point and higher you won't find a better place in Queretaro. We go to the City every year for Dia de los Muertos and this is the best place we have stayed. It even beats the pricier places.

Hotel room was on the third floor with no elevator, right next to the stairs leading to the terrace restaurant. Very difficult for my eighty year old dad. It was noisy through out the night, the rooms were very humid 🥵, fans helped. Hot and cold nights. Won't probably stay here again.🤔

El desayuno delicioso y abundante y con la amabilidad que te atienden es aún más. La terraza hermosa y la vista igual. Está rodeada de 7 Iglesias y el domingo fue un concierto de campanadas muy bonito.Ya habíamos estado en Querétaro y este es sin duda el mejor lugar. Esperamos regresar

Reviewed Sep 24, 2025First and foremost, the welcoming hospitality by all the staff. Very clean, convenient with a fine touch of Mexican history in the heart of Queretaro. The terrace restaurant La Grupa has one of the best views of modern and historic Queretaro. The only suggestion would be to have cooling equipment in the rooms, not only ventilators.

The only thing that is not making me go back to this hotel is the fact that I found 3 roaches in different occasions inside my room. These roaches are very easily transported and hard to get rid off.

It was quiet at night, and the staff was cheerful and accommodating when we asked for a late check-out. Great water pressure and hot water, and Carmen, the cleaning attendant, was lovely.
A couple of minor notes: the beds were a bit soft for our backs, and our room had a slanted floor.

They arranged a taxi for us, came up and showed how to lock our door (it was a different type lock), and set up a massage appointment. The premises were attractive and well maintained. In the evening, it was quiet, and no traffic so we slept well. The rooftop restaurant was convenient, with beautiful views, and great waitstaff who helped make sure my food was free of the many food allergens.
There was no place to put a hand towel, no towel bar, etc. Made it very awkward. Ditto for the bath towels. The rack in the bathroom held one towel, for a tall person. Neither my husband or I are tall, so it was hard to hang up the towel, and no place at all to hang my towel.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2025This was my first trip to the area. The staff was friendly and helpful upon our very late (12:30 AM) arrival. There was a bit of a language barrier, but thank goodness for Google translate! Breakfast was delicious, with several choices so that each day I could try something new. The hotel is very convenient to most areas of interest, including food, shopping, and historic sight-seeing. Uber is super easy here. My one suggestion is pretty obvious. Don’t drink the tap water or ice, or, evidently the incredibly tasty-looking street food.

The location is walkable to almost everywhere we wanted to go for the festival and to see in Queretaro. The Hotel itself is beautiful and charming and very comfortable and the free breakfast on the rooftop restaurant was so convenient and delicious ! The view and the food was great way to start our mornings ! It was not what I was expecting for a "free" breakfast. The staff was above and beyond friendly and helpful with anything we requested in our muddled Spanish !
Nothing ! One night, late, their was some loud street work next to the hotel which couldn't be helped. But the hotel staff offered all the guests free pizza and wine in the restaurant that next night to make up for the disturbance !
