Wir hatten einen rundum sehr guten Aufenthalt im Scott’s Hotel in Killarney. Die Lage ist wirklich top – sehr zentral und perfekt, um Killarney zu Fuss zu erkunden. Gleichzeitig bietet das Hotel einen kostenfreien Parkplatz, was gerade bei einer Rundreise mit dem Auto ein grosser Pluspunkt ist. Unser Zimmer 405 hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut gefallen. Es war sauber, komfortabel und insgesamt wirklich schön. Auch an der Rezeption wurden wir jederzeit freundlich empfangen und das gesamte Personal war sehr angenehm. Besonders cool fanden wir die Live-Musik am Abend. Sie sorgt für eine tolle Atmosphäre und passt einfach perfekt zu einem Aufenthalt in Irland. Ansonsten gibt es von unserer Seite nichts zu beanstanden: tolle Location, schönes und sauberes Zimmer, freundliches Personal, kostenfreies Parken und jeden Abend Live-Musik. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden definitiv wiederkommen.

Kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag zu Zimmer 405: Rund um das Waschbecken fehlen teilweise die Fugen beziehungsweise könnten diese einmal sauber erneuert und nachgezogen werden. Wirklich nur eine Kleinigkeit, die das ansonsten sehr gute Gesamtbild noch etwas perfekter machen würde.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Walking distance from the train station. Beautiful hotel, lovely bar area. Good entertainment and sports coverage. Breakfast was really good. And the staff were friendly and helpful.

I was very disappointed with the size and location of our room. The room was changed at my request but the new room was not a major improvement. If you are not very agile ask for a room near the lift with a walk in shower.

Of all the places we stayed during our 11-night vacation, Scott's Hotel in Killarney was the absolute highlight for our family of five! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the gorgeous hotel lobby and an easy check-in process. Staff members were wonderfully helpful, and parking was a breeze with simple elevator access directly up to our room with all our luggage. We booked the two-bedroom apartment, and it was exceptional value for money. Having two separate bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen allowed all five of us to comfortably spread out. Our grown sons each had their own space and beds, while my husband and I had ours. Everything was impeccably clean, and the bathrooms were perfect. The highlight of our stay was the atmosphere: we opened up the porch doors and living room windows to listen to the live music playing below! The hotel kindly gave us a heads-up that it could be lively until 11 PM, but we genuinely loved every second of it. Exhausted after a long day of traveling, my husband popped out to grab some local beer and wine, and we all relaxed together in the apartment soaking in the music. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Killarney with an easy walk to food, coffee, and local spots. Having stayed in Killarney twice now, I can say with confidence that this is the place to be. We only wished we had booked a longer stay, but we will definitely be back! 5 stars all

Don’t cancel the booking on your customer Booking.com! My credit card number had changed from the original booking and with little warning, YOU cancelled it. As it was 3rd party I couldn’t work with the hotel so I rebooked not catching that my original booking INCLUDED BREAKFAST at a discount and my replacement DID NOT. We didn’t catch this until the first morning when we paid 32 euros for two meals. We skipped breakfast at the hotel the second day and got it cheaper elsewhere. What I’m NOT HAPPY ABOUT is that I brought the Matt to BOOKING.COM customer service and 8 days later, YOU HAVE FAILED TO RESPOND TO YOUR CUSTOMER.

Wir hatten insgesamt einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Hotel Scotts. Unser Zimmer lag zur Straße, sodass wir an den beiden Abenden durch ein Public Viewing und anschließend eine Live-Musik-Veranstaltung etwas mehr vom abendlichen Treiben mitbekommen haben. Für uns war das kein großes Problem, sollte man bei der Zimmerwahl jedoch vielleicht berücksichtigen. Ansonsten hat alles wunderbar funktioniert. Das Frühstück war völlig in Ordnung und besonders hervorheben möchten wir das sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite und zuvorkommende Personal. Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohlgefühlt und würden das Hotel gerne weiterempfehlen.

À notre arrivée, nous n’avions pas de serviette de bain et avons dû aller en demander à la réception. Pour le petit déjeuner, il faut donner l’heure à laquelle on veut y aller. À notre arrivée, nous avons reçu notre café comme nous avions presque terminé de déjeuner et ce parce que nous avons dû le demander. Du coup, nous n’avons rien commandé de ce qui était proposé car personne n’est venu. Alors que nous devions réserver! Tout ceci n’est pas digne d’un 4*. C’est dommage !

The location was good for downtown Killarney sights. The breakfast at the restaurant was very good.

Due to the location right next to an outside bar and music area, it tended to be loud late into the night. The initial drive to locate the car park and entrance was a little confusing at first.

We had a really happy, memorable time and Scott’s Hotel was perfect in almost every way. staff were outstanding, room/beds/shower etc excellent, lounge area, bar all very well planned and comfortable, live music lovely - all in all a great hotel let down by less than good food.

We had dinner at Scott’s on one night and the food was not at all good. Lovely staff and efficient service but food really disappointing - especially for a 4* hotel.

La ubicació.

S’ha acabat l’aigua calenta mentre ens estavem dutxant. La pica del lavabo era molt petita i molt baixeta, semblava de guarderia. No te la categoria de 4 estrelles ni per casualitat. Un WC vell i mobiliari anticuat.

sehr nettes Hotel in zentraler Lage - eigentlich direkt im Zentrum. Personal sehr freundlich. Frühstück gut und ausreichend. Parkplatz direkt unter dem Hotel in einer Parkgarage und frei für Hotelgäste.

Bien situé au coeur de Killarney. Une ambiance festive, musicale et accueillante. La chambre est spacieuse, propre et la literie est plutôt bonne. La salle de bain est très bien. La douche est grande et spacieuse. Le petit déjeuner est très bien. Un espace buffet + une carte pour les petits-dej plus typiques.

L'évacuation du lavabo et des WC un peu limite.

The reception staff was very helpful. The breakfast was excellent.

We knew Scott's was centrally located (very convenient!), but we didn't know that bar and stage was right under our window. Even when the live music ended at midnight, the festivities continued late into the wee hours. Had I known i advance, I would have asked for a room on the other side of the hotel.

Comfortable and well sized room for the twin - one massive double and a smaller double. Air con worked very well. Two shower heads that could be changed from one setting to another easily. Fridge in room was handy after not having one on other hotels during our Irish stays. Breakfasts were quick to be cooked and the menu was adaptable to requests. In a good location for getting about the town or walking to bus/train.

The live performers are loud - remember to bring some ear plugs if you’re not out there dancing and singing too!

Room was nice and shower large with good water pressure. Location was very convenient to downtown and shopping.

Access to the lobby. We had to go all the way around the building to access the front door.
