I liked the location, very central and close to everything and the fact that it is adults-only is key. The breakfast offers a variety of local and international flavors.

I didn't like the pool hours; I suggest extending them until 10 PM so guests can enjoy the pool during the cooler hours of the afternoon.

Hotel molto Bello!Ben strutturato e ben arredato sia all'interno che all'esterno e tutti gli ambienti sempre puliti con un personale sorridente e gentilissimo.La camera pulita tutti i giorni con il cambio asiugamani giornalmente.La zona piscina molto ampia e pulita con il bar comodo per fare qualche consumazione (avevo trattamento all-inclusive).Poi piacevole sorpresa tre canali italiani in tv (Rai) sarebbe bello averne qualcuno in più ma non si può avere tutto 😅.Comunque ci tornerò di sicuro!

Non posso lamentarmi di nulla come già detto ma ahimè da italiano il cibo è un pò una pecca.Certo c'era sempre un pò di tutto ma a parere mio segue forse un pò troppo i canoni tedeschi (che erano la maggior parte dei clienti)ma è solo un mio pensiero mangiare ce n'è ma dovevo girare un pò per trovare qualcosa che mi piacesse o comunque farmelo andar bene.

This was my second visit this year and it excelled my earlier visit. This time I enjoyed the Buffet Lunch and Dinner. Both exceptional. Incredible vale for money and superb variety.

Zimmer, Bett, Bad, alles sehr alt. Klimaanlage laut und hat gerünnt, siehe Fotos. Musste das Zimmer wechseln, das nach der 2. Nacht. Die 2. Nacht konnte ich gar nicht schlafen. Also bei soeinem Hotel das doch sehr teuer ist, erwarte ich viel mehr. Nicht mal ein Getränkegutschein als sorry nichts. Höchstens 2- max. 3 Sterne Hotel

Ik kon geen factuur krijgen van de overnachting. Eerst werd verteld dat dat alleen bij het uitchecken kan. Toen ik ging uitchecken werd verteld dat ik een mailtje moest sturen naar een mailadres dat ik toen kreeg. Dat heb ik gedaan, maar het berricht kon niet afgeleverd worden op het opgegeven mailadres. Erg jammer, want ik moet de kamer declareren en dat is lastig zonder rekening

Apesar do esforço dos funcionários, estes são nitidamente poucos para tanta gente no hotel. Costumo estar todos os anos aqui mas este ano havia algo diferente. O ambiente já não é o mesmo, há um público “novo” que ainda não tinha visto no Neptuno especialmente devido ao barulho que os britânicos fazem na piscina e no bar

We recently stayed at MUR Hotel Neptuno and, overall, had a very enjoyable stay. We were pleasantly surprised that we were able to check in early on arrival. The reception staff were friendly and efficient, making for a great start to our holiday. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. To make our arrival even more special, we found beautiful swan-shaped towels and chocolates waiting on the bed. The housekeeping team were excellent throughout the rest of our stay and kept the room spotless. The pool area was one of the highlights of the hotel. Nearly every room overlooks the pool, creating a lovely atmosphere. There's also a rear entrance beside the pool that leads directly to the Yumbo Centre, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, restaurants, bars and nightlife. The food was generally very good. Breakfast had a fantastic selection, including cereals, breads, pastries, meats, cheeses, fruit and hot options, with fresh omelettes cooked to order. Lunch from the snack bar was excellent, with a salad buffet, a large à la carte menu and a dessert buffet. The prices were also very reasonable for guests who weren't all-inclusive. Dinner was probably the weakest meal of the day. While the main courses changed regularly and there were some delicious Canarian dishes such as local potatoes, rice and fish, the starters became quite repetitive. There were always simple options like pasta and chips for fussy eaters, but overall we've experienced better evening buffets elsewhere. One small downside was the drinks service. Soft drinks were served in quite small 200ml glasses, and it could sometimes be difficult to get a member of staff's attention for a refill. The staff spoke several languages, which was impressive given the mix of guests. During our stay there were mainly German, French and English visitors, with only three or four Irish guests. Staff often assumed we were English, and on a few occasions interactions felt a little abrupt because of that. Overall, this is a clean, well-maintained hotel in an excellent location with a fantastic pool, hardworking housekeeping staff and very good breakfast and lunch options. Despite a few minor negatives, we'd happily recommend it and would consider staying again.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 16 nights and arrived home yesterday. We absolutely loved the hotel! Staff are amazing and cannot do enough for you from the restaurant and bar to the cleaners. Food and drinks were absolutely outstanding. We found lunch to be our favourite as all food cooked fresh but dinner was also great. Breakfast wasn’t really to our liking but that’s just preference. All cocktails made fresh with a wide range to choose from and all alcohol branded. However the cleaners were the real shining light of this hotel. Our room was cleaned to a very high standard every day but they went the extra mile. Some days they would come when we were in bed and we expected this meant we had missed it for the day but when coming back in the evening always found our rooms to be clean! The pool area is spotless and we never struggled for a bed. Very close to all amenities including Yumbo which is about 30 seconds walk away. Only 2 criticism’s were the rooms are very small (despite being very clean) and food isn’t available outside of meal times. Would have been nice if they left the cold buffet from lunch out after lunch just for something to pick at or a small selection from snack bar. All in all we had a fantastic time and would definitely return. Thank you to all at Neptune :)

We have been home 2 days and we cannot tell you how much we miss this hotel and the staff already. I can’t quite put into words how comfortable we felt at the Neptuno , the staff are so attentive, funny , kind and cannot do enough for you. They made you feel less like a generic guest and more like a friend, the chef knew exactly how we many rashes of bacon we wanted and how well done to make it from one interaction with us and the bar staff always remembered what you were drinking. We didn’t book the holiday all inclusive but it is better option, after a couple days we decided to upgrade as drinks are branded , the pool bar food made to order , endless salad and desserts was 100% worth €280 euros for 5 nights. Yumbo centre is just through the gate around the pool and very busy , we can’t comment on entertainment as we didn’t stay due to it not being our scene but the many friendly and wonderful guests we met have told us the drag bars are well worth it. We have met so many wonderful people staying here, with this hotel being LGBTQ friendly and as a member of the community myself I have never felt so safe , welcome and free to be me in my whole time of travelling or at home than I have in just a week of being here. The hotel itself is exactly like the pictures which isn’t usually the case , i would dare to say the pictures do not actually do the place justice. The pool area is beautiful, the sunbeds are the comfiest I have ever laid on and the chairs up at the bar are perfect for long periods of sitting. Carolina at reception is such a kind wonderful person who was there when we needed her, both for information and getting someone to recuse our towels when the Gran Canaria breeze took them away. This will definitely not be the last time we stay here. Thank you so much for such a relaxing break, Mamma & Bambino (to quote lovely Andrea from the pool bar) had the best time and we are extremely sad to be back home.

Absolutely incredible hotel in every sense of the word. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and maintained to an exceptionally high standard. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay. The food is fantastic as are the drinks. The facilities were outstanding, the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, and the location was ideal for exploring the surrounding area. Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations, and it is genuinely one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. One thing worth mentioning for future guests is that the hotel is a very popular gay hotel located in a well-known LGBTQ+ destination. We weren’t aware of this before travelling, but it wasn’t a problem for us at all and everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. However, it may simply be something to be aware of in advance if that isn’t the type of holiday atmosphere you’re looking for. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a first-class stay. We would happily return without hesitation.

Struttura abbastanza grande , un po tutto datata dalle camere ai servizi e accessori, ma tenuta bene nel complesso. Punti forti: posizione comoda a tutto e piscina grande. Staff gentile e disponibile. Reception h24. La camera risulta carina, pulita e confortevole munita di terrazzino molto spazioso con stendino estraibile. Silenziosa nonostante sia ridosso del centro commerciale yumbo con locali e musica alta. Ho apprezzato la vista piscina. Bagno rinnovato con kit benvenuto, ampia doccia e bidet. Servizio di cambio asciugamano giornaliero. E’ presente un piccolo frigo , bollitore e cassaforte. Non ho fatto uso ma ho notato sia presente anche il servizio lavanderia. C’è una piccola palestra interna nel interrato e una piccola sauna esterna vicino al bar . La piscina decisamente meritevole con ampio spazio di lettini prendisole con telo giornaliero inclusi. Colazione buona e variegata. Una buona struttura.

La struttura e’ datata ma si presenta bene senza grosse criticità, ma ho trovato nel complesso il Rapporto qualità prezzo un po elevato, andrebbe svecchiata al fine di allineare standard e prezzi. Ho trovato che la colazione avesse anche troppi prodotti a buffet, personalmente offrirei un po meno prodotti alzando la qualità degli stessi. L’età media un po elevata dei clienti.

I arrived at the hotel and settles into my preferred room choice room 401 which cost me 59 euros extra on top of the normal price to book the room. The room overlooked roofs of the Yumbo Centre. The preferred room choice is an additional charge on top of the advertised price on hotel websites so the visible price of the rooms cheaper on their website than what you actually end up paying when you go through the booking process, it is misleading and needs to be factored into any booking cost. I woke up at 7am to noise from the builders who were replacing the floor tiles in the patio areas of rooms 501 directly above, room 301 directly below and room 400, 402, 403, 404 and 405 so I had been charged extra to be surrounded by building work which went on all day. I went down to speak to reception on day 2 as it carried on and a builder had walked into my room when I was getting changed- even though my room was not one of the rooms being worked on and the 'No molestar' sign was clearly visible on my door handle outside. At this point I had had enough and spoke to the Customer experience manager. I wanted to establish who had access to my room as for me it was a security risk for my belongings. It turned out he hadn't used a keycard but my door was not properly locked and he had tried the handle and walked in. I was offered an alternative room at this point but was not given any indication of where the room would be. As I had already unpacked everything and settled into the room and the building work was suppose to stop the following day I kept the room. On the third day I decided to use the gym after breakfast as I am a regular gym goer normally. I was shocked at the state of the area and the areas which were next to it open to the hotel guests. The gym floor was filthy with stains, all trims were loose and dirty around columns and the floor, the machines had grease oozing from the moving parts and the multigym which appeared broken on a photo from two years ago on their website was also still broken with the wires tangled. It appeared the basement where the gym was , was being used as a dumping ground for old broken furniture and hotel cast offs. I was shocked at the state of the areas. when I came back to my room I decided to sit on the balcony- It was so dirty that I immediately went down to reception to ask for my balcony to be cleaned urgently. The furniture was all covered in a layer of dust, the tiles themselves were covered in building debris, grit and dust. I told reception that It was unacceptable that it appeared my balcony had not been cleaned since the building work started and wanted to raise a formal complaint and meet with the hotel director. The earliest this could take place was the following Monday. I went to breakfast on the Monday morning as usual and used the fresh orange machine which presses the oranges. I noticed as the orange juice was flowing into my glass that there was some dark debris in the glass . I stopped pouring and fished the debris out to find two dead beetles like insects about 1cm long- I immediately called the waitress and showed her what I had found and gave them to her in a napkin to report it to the restaurant manager. She was shocked at what had come out but they continued to allow guests to use the machine even though this had happened- For me this was a clear breach of food safety!! I had the meeting with the hotel director Armando and explained the whole situation. I offered to show him the areas that I felt were really poor in the hotel but he made an excuse that he didn't have time and really didn't seem interested. He did agree that it was unacceptable what had happened and didn't disagree with any of my comments. I was offered my 59 euros back for the preferred room 'add on' and he also offered to upgrade me to all inclusive for the remaining three days. I explained that I didn't want this as I didn't want to stay in the hotel during the day but I accepted they pay for my one glass of wine each night I had with my meal. For all the reasons above this is why my rating for the hotel is so poor. I would not return there or advise friends and family to stay there based on all the cleanliness issues and the poor condition of the facilities. I have enclosed photos so that other travellers can decide for themselves. I would not consider this hotel to be 4 star. The hotel directors lack of interest in the issues which I raised, him having worked there for ten years clearly shows he either does not care about the hotel. Maybe he will look closer now after this review. I have stayed in several other 4star hotels in the immediate area and The Neptuno falls well short of all I have stayed in. It has a good location very close to the Yumbo Centre but is really noisy despite reviews saying it is well sound proofed.

The hotel is very out dated..needs a good upgrade..food is not good..ended up going out every night..pizza from the day bar was frozen...not much choice.. can get water from the day bar for ure room..cleanliness in rooms is average..the noise from the yumbo is unreal but what do u expect being so close to it.. Entering the hotel there is noone to help with luggage and there is 9 steps down to foye...then a further 8 steps to reception..best leaving luggage in foyer.. Oh what and another 8 steps down from main street Cleaners do come in everyday Staff are nice But the hotel its self is not a recommendation from myself..if u smoke they do have smoking areas at the side..not allowed to vape at the pool..but for the size of the pool.. what's the problem as smokey area is right next to the pool anyway .. Standard rooms look on to the side of the hotel. Up grades onto the pool...so no difference really all rooms are standard just the view.. Shower takes a good 10mins for shower to heat up then roasting to freezing in seconds

Second time at this hotel and not disappointed. Food lovely especially the lunch. Location perfect, right by the Yumbo centre and about 10mins walk to the beach. But above all this it's the staff which make this hotel a great place to stay.

Wonderful hotel. Everything was perfect. Location, cleanliness, pool, service 10/10. The fact that it’s adults only is also a plus. Wouldn’t hesitate to return. Loved it 🥰

Been here many times but the standards seem to be dropping. Fast. It was once a nice 4 star Hotel in a great location. The location remains great but the Hotel is tired and needs major refurbishment. It is now a very expensive hotel for little in return. The food is mediocre at best and very very repetitive. The staff appear tired and disinterested. Think this will be the last time for me.

I have been to this hotel once before and I can say I and my partner really enjoyed it, we booked with Jet2 as last time but this time, from the airport and the hotel we were not impressed. Firstly we ordered special assistance all fine the English end but nothing the other end, also we upgraded the room at the hotel but had to be told by another guest that there would be building work carried out while we were here, I think this is very unprofessional.

After 30 years in the high-end hospitality industry, I was pleasantly surprised by this exceptional establishment. The tranquil oasis it creates is well-deserved of its four-star rating. It offers a private club-like experience without any fees. The exceptional team working here is the true reason for its success. I cannot adequately praise the staff. A very special thank you to you all for making our stay so very special.

Very disappointing stay compared with our previous visits to Hotel Neptuno. We booked this hotel again because we had genuinely enjoyed it before and stayed 4 times, however this stay was nowhere near the same standard and ended up being extremely disappointing and will definitely be our last. We paid extra for an upgraded room, yet it certainly did not feel like an upgrade. The room felt tired, dated and underwhelming, especially considering the premium price charged. The beds were also extremely uncomfortable to the point that we had to contact reception to request mattress toppers just to get a decent night’s sleep. There was also ongoing construction work during our stay, which impacted the overall atmosphere and experience. This was disappointing and not what we expected from a hotel charging these prices. For the first three nights, the noise from Yumbo during Eurovision was incredibly loud and significantly impacted our ability to relax and sleep. Whilst we understand external noise is not entirely within the hotel’s control, it absolutely affected the quality of our stay. Most disappointingly, I became very unwell during the holiday with what a doctor advised was food poisoning. We only ate within the hotel during our stay, and I experienced severe stomach cramps and diarrhoea which completely ruined the final part of the trip and left me confined to the room rather than enjoying our last days of sunshine. What made matters worse was the response when concerns were raised. We often received generic responses that felt dismissive rather than genuinely helpful or caring. At one stage, the hotel manager or director maybe, asked how our stay had been as returning guests, but the interaction felt uncomfortable and impersonal. During the conversation, we were left feeling judged rather than listened to, which only added to the disappointment. As returning guests, this was particularly frustrating because we had previously enjoyed staying here and expected much better. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below expectations. Given the issues with the room, uncomfortable beds, ongoing construction work, excessive noise, poor handling of concerns, and becoming seriously unwell during the stay, we sadly would not rush back. I fully expect a generic automated response to this review, which would unfortunately feel very in keeping with the lack of personal care we experienced throughout the stay.

I do not write reviews at the beginning of my stay, but this amazing Hotel compelled me to do so. I have stayed here before recently and as an ex-hotelier that have worked for major brands such as Intercontinental, Conrad-Hilton, Marriott, Mandarin Oriental I have nothing but 5 star praise for the Neptuno. The staff and welcome I recieved was amazing, the cleanliness and Housekeeping is absolutely immaculate and the room is beautiful with all the little touches such as fluffy towels, gowns and slippers, welcome amenities. I look forward to my stay the next 4 days and want to congratulate the General Manager and the staff on such an exceptional Hotel. Best wishes.

From the moment I entered the hotel to the moment I left my experience far exceeded anything I could expect. All the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay…..Carolina on reception always smiling and extremely helpful as was Alexis ….Bellboy Nuhacet was a great character and worked so hard ….Maria and all the Catering staff worked so professionally to ensure the experience in the restaurant was amazing… food, quality and choice at breakfast and dinner were extensive and top quality… and a big shout out to Nadia who cleaned my room to such a high standard and always had a smile every morning. The pool area was always immaculately clean with plenty of sun lounges available during the day and luxurious pool towels accompanied. The poolside bar restaurant served excellent quality food and snacks. This hotel has many many returning customers because the staff really care and the quality is so high to the point where I rebooked for next year before I wrote this review so that no one would get in there before me 🤣 A Maspalomas Gem

The hotel is situated in a nice area, close to shops and the highway is easily accessible. They have own parking which you can use if there is space available, if not you can find some parking spots in the nearby streets. The place was clean, but what made the difference was the staff. Each and every of them very helpful and ready to assist with any issues you might have. Staff is the reason not to give lower score.

The building itself is more than 50 years old and definitely far away from the current standards, but it's okay. Rooms are clean, though quite outdated with insufficient number of outlets. Bathroom is of a good size, though having a bathtub is only a hassle as you can slip and trip over. There was no liquid soap near the sink which is inconvenient. I went for the all-inclusive option, which honestly is not worth the money. If you expect Turkish or Black see all-inclusive style with plenty of dishes for each meal, you'll be disappointed. The variety of foods was quite limited, but the quality was satisfactory. The meat and seafood were quite good. Lunch was on menu and the menu is the same every day. For dinner the only change was the type of meat or sea food that would be available and cooked for you on the moment. There was construction going on in one of the nearby rooms and the noise was disturbing. The room I was given was facing the service path of the hotel and since the windows were not closing firmly, street noise from the garbage truck was coming directly into my room at 6 a.m. My balcony was facing East which made it really challenging not to get sunburn as there was no umbrella of any kind. If you want a real all-inclusive go elsewhere.

El personal nos pareció encantador, cercano, amables y muy atentos, podría mencionarlos a todos, Carolina en recepción, Vicente, Sonia, Daniel, Paco Navarro, Miguel Romano (nos reímos mucho con él), Carolina... todos hicieron una estancia muchísimo más agradable. Estaba todo muy limpio, el buffet muy variado y bueno.

Que no nos avisaron con antelación de que habían obras en el hotel. Cogimos una sola noche para desconectar y el sábado cuando estuvimos en la piscina no pudimos descansar, el ruido de las obras fue muy desagradable y a veces no podíamos ni conversar. Si nos hubieran comunicado lo de las obras, no nos hubiéramos alojado en el hotel. Fue una falta de respeto y consideración hacia nosotros y el resto de clientes.

One word AVOID! I've been to this hotel before but it has gone downhill. If you are ok with cigarette smoke then you should at least be able to use the balcony. In addition to the poor location of the smoking areas, the showers alternate between freezing and boiling. I paid for an upgrade after been offered a room overlooking the service area but honestly it really wasn't much better. Take care, if you book a "standard" room you will be overlooking the building next door or the service area with all the noise and wonderful aromas that that brings. Never again!

A nice hotel with just a few problems. I had already booked the hotel before checking on Trip Advisor which is unusual for me. I have a mobility problem which I now know has already been mentioned by previous guests. It turned out that it didn't cause too many problems the only stairs I needed to use regularly were to the restaurant but even then only about 6 or 7 which for me is just manageable. The only other must use stairs are to reception but those only needed twice checking in and checking out. My word of advice to anyone with mobility problems is don't book a room on the first floor, there is no lift access for some reason. Other than those minor problems for me the hotel is first class. Rooms cleaned to a high standard daily. Snack bar by the swimming pool lovely serving tasty meals. The restaurant's first class on food and service. Oh another odd thing which I moaned about but was quickly rectified the toilet doors by the snack bar and sauna closed around 6pm when the pool bar closed. I was told that there was a rear entrance which was fine but on my first use I found the gents easily enough but in complete darkness. Did I enjoy myself for the week yes I did. Would I stay again yes I would. Staff very helpful and accommodating. There is a slight barrier problem with a lot of the friendly is their command of the English language isn't brilliant but we are in a Spanish resort so not totally unexpected.

Il y a eu des nuisances sonores dûes à des clients très irrespectueux, et l’attitude de l’hôtel et sa réaction ont été assez méprisantes, en particulier de la part du directeur de l’hôtel. En plus il y avait de gros travaux dans plusieurs chambres, ce qui ne permettait pas de se reposer dans la journée: coups, perceuses etc.. Aucune compensation substantielle n’a été proposée par l’hôtel. Une expérience globalement décevante pour un ****. Les alternatives ne manquent pas dans cette catégorie d’hôtel et de prix dans la même zone!

Fantastic amenities, great service and excellent food and a very friendly staff

During several days of our stay, it was impossible to enjoy the pool area due to a group of intoxicated guests at the pool bar shouting constantly. Despite multiple complaints to reception, the hotel only intervened after more than 1.5 hours, by which time we had already been forced to leave. The situation was clearly poorly managed. The hotel failed to ensure the basic level of comfort and tranquility expected in a property of this category. Other guests also left the pool area, visibly annoyed. What is even more disappointing is the way this was handled afterwards. Despite a formal complaint and several reports during our stay, the management later denied that any issue had occurred. No meaningful compensation was offered, only symbolic gestures that were not relevant to the inconvenience experienced. Overall, this was an experience well below the standards expected from a 4-star hotel.

The fact that I had an all inclusive tariff and they did not fill the minibar with water bottle. I asked the room service person to leave two bottles but she did not do that, It was very disappointing.

This is my fourth visit to this wonderful hotel , check in was completed fairly quickly and efficiently and friendly manor . I was even offered a refreshing glass of white wine , during check in . The room was spotless comfortable bed . Complementary bottle of red wine, water, fresh flowers , and bottled water, bath robe and slippers, the chamber maids are friendly and do their job very efficiently. I was on half board basis breakfast and evening dinner were of excellent quality. The high light of this hotel is undoubtedly all of the staff who are always freindly and engaging . In particular the restaurant maitre ‘d Maria , and Tracy stand out as they always extremely welcoming and having become friends over the last three years or so. However the remains staff are also friendly and efficient. I look forward to mt next trip in September. Kenneth Stewart.

Nothing of any note

This was my fourth visit to this 4* quality hotel. From the moment we arrived customer service was at the heart of every member of staff. The room is comfortable, my only quibble was that our usual room on 1st floor was now converted to a double bed rather than two singles. The reception staff quickly allocated a different room which was smaller but still boasted the quality assured by MUR hotels. The food was very good with lots of variety and the restaurant maitre d, Maria, is so welcoming and efficient. I look forward to returning next year.

3rd visit to this hotel. Sadly will be our last. Food (evening meal) very poor quality and cheap offerings. Hotel bedroom shower (4th floor) one minute cold the next scalding hot - apparently a recurring problem - just not sorted. Hotel needs a re-fit (Reception roof fell in whilst there) high price for what was once a very nice 4 star hotel. Much better places to stay in PDI.

TERRIBLE BREAKFAST COFFFE in otherwise great hotel. Such a pity! After installing good quality espresso coffee machines (following our complaints last year) - the all controlling accountants last week replaced these machines with cheap, and in my view, undrinkable coffee. Mentioned this to many managers and staff but they just brushed me off. A pity because every thing else really good. Great heated pool. Good pool bar. Otherwise good breakfast. Very clean. Quiet. Well equipped rooms. Great central location. Good friendly service. Helpful, nice staff.

Location, cleanliness and staff

I stayed here a couple of years ago and couldn't wait to come as we had such a lovely time. Sadly I wish I hadn't bothered. Our room was on the 2nd floor above the service area at the side of the hotel which was so noisy, bins being emptied and lorries arriving 1st thing in the morning with deliveries. The rooms themselves really need a makeover. If you are thinking why did I not book a pool room where it is quieter we had already spent a considerable amount of money staying here and did not want to spend even more. The breakfast and the lunch in the hotel is good but the evening food really is unacceptable. I also think that the food needs better labelled. I cant eat fish and found that even though some of the stuff has a label it doesn't mention what the main ingredients are. We ended up going out most evenings as the food is terrible. The rooms were clean and kept tidy and the pool area, bar, reception and corridors are all really clean also. My main gripe with the hotel (and Jet2) was that we had booked all inclusive plus. Unfortunately this only includes basic brands. Anyone who thinks that they are going to go to the hotel and have access to certain brands will be very disappointed. Even if there was a supplement to pay but if you want something they don't class in the AI package you have to pay full price. I had a bill of 19.50 on check out as I had Bombay Sapphire instead of Gordons. I don't understand why AI+ is being offered. When I asked at the reception I was told that as far as the hotel was concerned that all-inclusive plus does not exist in the hotel and they don't understand why Jet2 is offering it. I contacted Jet2 and a resort Rep called Janos came to see me at the hotel. He did admit that they were having complaints about the AI+ but his remedy for my problem was to down-grade me to half board if I didn't like what they were offering me. This is completely unacceptable. I noticed a big difference in the hotel from 2 years ago and I definitely would not class it a 4 stars. The only thing about the hotel is the staff. They do make the holiday but a few of the barmen when you are there a day or 2 can be a little too cheeky. The price for this hotel is not worth it and instead of putting a load of tat in your room like shopping bags and hats with the hotel logo on them maybe shave a few pounds off the bill.

Great hotel close to all the shops and nightlife in the Yumbo and within walking distance of the beach at Maspalomas, and the dunes. Nice adults only hotel with a nice pool area with outside restaurant. Comfortable rooms with good amenities, nice breakfast served until 11a.m. and very helpful staff. Have stayed here twice before and have just rebooked for this coming April.
