We stayed 4 nights in the upstairs apartment it is beautifully decorated very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We didn't have breakfast but other guests said it was good and they were well looked after

Lovely place. Everything has been very carefully thought about. Would definitely stay again. The town was also much better than anticipated. We were doing a night stopover on a journey but would have liked to stay in the area for longer

Carmen was very friendly and helpful. She has thought of lots of lovely little details. The room was very comfortable and quiet, beautifully decorated. Location perfect in town centre but in quiet road. We had no problems parking nearby following Carmen's instructions.

Nothing really. If the towels were replaced with plain white fluffy ones, this would be 5 Star for sure.

Superb! An absolute gem of a hotel to stay at. Carmen and Dave have thought of everything! Fantastic hosts. Wonderful breakfast. Parking not an issue at all. A two minute walk to centre of Morpeth. Half hour bus ride into Newcastle. Would highly recommend Vastle View.

The building and room were immaculate. A lovely welcome and a well equipped room with some milk and water nicely chilled in the fridge. The breakfast was just what I needed to start my day. The location is convenient and with the hot weather I had the window open, it was still nice and peaceful allowing a good nights sleep. The provided information was especially useful so I could park very close.

Het was er een hele fijne plek om hier te zijn. De kamer was prima. Je hebt er alles wat je nodig hebt. Zelfs een smart tv. Ik heb er heerlijk geslapen en het ontbijt was geweldig. De hostess was ook erg aardig. Het was voor mij ook fijn dat het in de buurt van het busstation ligt. Ik vond het jammer dat ik hier maar een nacht was. Ik had er graag nog langer gebleven..

Very classy place, a real cut above. Glamorous and comfortable room (love the milk bottle instead of those little plastic milk containers - tasted better and sustainable too.) fantastic shower and exceptional breakfast.

We had a fantastic stay over the weekend whilst attending a wedding in the area. Castle View was perfect for our needs. The room was beautiful, clean, and containing everything you would need for a few nights stay. It's also right in the heart of Morpeth with just a couple of minutes walk the the high street and tonnes of local pubs/cafes/shops etc. Carmen was also very friendly and extremely helpful with recommendations on parking and local spots. Thanks so much for a great stay!

We had an excellent stay. The facilities were outstanding and Carmen our host was welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. This has been one of the best stays we have ever had! Clean, comfortable and beautifully maintained. If you are in the area this is the place to stay.

Very high quality, beautiful furnished and decorated. In a central location free evening parking on the street in front of the property. Plenty of local bars and restaurants nearby by.

The place was excellent from arrival to departure. Very clean and inviting. I had a single occupancy room for one night and had two single beds. Everything I needed had been thought of. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Having to leave after 3 days

We stayed in the beautiful garden room which was really a self contained apartment with a separate kitchen, living area and outside seating area. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast in the mornings was of very good quality and prepared by the lovely owner Carmen. Highly recommended!

Lovely B&B close to Morpeth town centre. The cooked breakfast was ordered the night before and served at a pre selected time. The food was excellent quality. It was our 2nd time staying, and I would stay here again.

Parking in Morpeth always tricky

Beautiful renovated old property with character with all the modern chic. The host is helpful and friendly and the breakfast is great. Clean and comfortable bed with the best shower and fluffy towels. Easy to park outside and the town itself has some lovely bars and restaurants a short walk away. The breakfast is all laid out with great choice and freshness, the cooked breakfast was perfection and great value for money at an extra £10 per person. Room facilities are great too, beds are clean and the decor is chic and comfy whilst still looking after the original features. Lovely little touches everywhere, umbrellas to loan, toiletries, little bottles of milk in your room fridge (no UHT milk), timetables, taxi and takeaway details all on hand. Thank you, we would definitely recommend.

The B&B is charming in a great location. It has been lovingly renovated by Carmen and her family with many great features. Carmen was very welcoming and flexible, where she could be. There are lots of shops, nice walks, the river and the castle just a few minutes' walk away.

We loved our stay as it was very conveniently positioned in Morpeth. The rooms were spacious and suited the different age ranges for our group. Carmen is a lovely lady, a great host and nothing was too much to ask. We would most definitely stay there again. We have recommended it to family who live in the area to pass on to friends and relatives when they are looking for a place to stay.

The location is excellent as it was central but quiet. Breakfast was good with lots of options and staff were helpful. We cannot think of any complaints.

The property was lovely, the owners were very friendly (and their pets).The breakfast was the best we have had and you had the option of a smaller portion. The room had everything you needed. Central to plenty of shops, cafes.

The parking is a bit of a faff. Luckily we had family just up the road and we parked there with a permit that they already had.

Very friendly and welcoming owner/host, fabulous accommodation, don't be fooled by the three stars on Booking.com, this place is one of the best b&b's we've stayed in. 5-stars all the way.

Excellent breakfast. The B&B is very accessible to the town centre and particularly the bus station which is very important to me as I no long drive.

Everything, location perfect, Carmen and Dave were great hosts, so friendly. Quiet room, shower powerful and bed so comfortable. We weren't going to have breakfast but pleased we did. Good varied selection and so tasty. Room equipped with kettle, toaster, microwave and small fridge had everything we needed.

Didn't 'dislike' anything but feel individual bedside lamps would have been great as one of us likes to read on a night and unfortunately couldn't just turn on one wall lamp.

Castle view bed & breakfast was absolutely wonderful! Gorgeous twin room, not overly spacious but just what we needed, had everything and more, super clean, beautifully decorated, every last detail had been thought through. Amazing breakfast with lots of choices from cold to hot options. Carmen and Dave were really welcoming and couldn’t be any more helpful. Parking was ideal… just pay attention to the parking advice! Morpeth was lovely there was lots to do, shopping, eating, nearby attractions, we did a day at Beamish and a day at Cragside. Would highly recommend and will be returning without a doubt!
